Turtle Beach Barbados a Tribute Port: Amazing Resort!

Only good things to say about this resort. We had the all inclusive package. Workers are all very nice. Food is great. I am West Indian so I was extremely happy that they had a lot of these types of dishes. Drinks were premium so that was great. Room was always cleaned well. I liked that it is a smaller resort. Everything is close. Ice Cream shop and Cafe are great additions. Cafe foods/drinks like something you would get at Starbucks. Ice cream options were different awesome (basic flav [... read more]ors plus different ones like pistachio, cookies and cream etc). Beach is important for me and this one did not disappoint, right close to the resort, soft sand, and blue waters. All back chairs were the ones that had their own shade at the top. The strip that the resort is located is all resorts (this next to Sandals), villas, hotels, and it was nice that you can walk along the beach of all of them. Kids club always had many activities and were always filled with the kids. We went for 5 days and it was the best time. I would definitely recommend.

Starfish Discovery Bay: Hidden gem

We just arrived from the Starfish Discovery Bay in Barbados and what a surprise... For a 3 star resort, we went with lowered expectations but were actually surprised at how much we enjoyed our stay here. Upon entering the lobby my first thought was 'oh no, what have I done?' The hotel is definitely old and very dated as are the small rooms and swimming pool. With that said, we spend minimal time in our room and all our time on the gorgeous beach so we weren't bothered. The beach at this re [... read more]sort is out of this world! The water was warm and calm, crystal clear with fine, white sand and no seaweed in sight. The resort provides snorkel gear, there were so many beautiful fish to see around the rocks. The buffet is small with little selection however the food was delicious, we never went hungry. There are shops nearby and we felt safe going off the resort each day. We enjoyed a rum tour at St. Nicholas Abbey, a day in Bridgetown (although I wouldn't recommend this as there is not much to see or do here) and we did the fish fry on the Friday night at Oistens which was fun and a wonderful experience. All in all, I would definitely recommend Starfish Discovery Bay as long as the expectations are for what it is, a 3.5 star resort.

Waves Resort and Spa: Great time!

We traveled as a group of 6 adults and 3 kids (2 infants). Upon arrivals we received complimentary upgrades to ocean front rooms. The staff were excellent. They always said yes to any request we had, offered to help with anything and made sure we were having a great time and we were managing well with the babies. The food was amazing! I would highly recommend this resort and would love to return.

Starfish Discovery Bay: Love it

We have travelled for over thirty years and this is the best island we have ever been to. The staff at this resort are so friendly and accommodating, they are always trying to please you. The food is good, a bit more selection at lunch would be good but always something to eat. The rooms are a good size and clean. We had a problem with our toilet and it was taken care of immediately. A small resort but absolutely loved it.

Starfish Discovery Bay: Absolutely an amazing resort

The rooms were very clean, grounds were beautiful, beach was amazing, People were really friendly and helpful! Definitely would return! Food was spicy but you could always find something that wasn't! Dining areas were always clean and service was great - servers could not do enough to help with anything! Amazing trip!

Sandals Royal Barbados: Best Honeymoon Ever!

This was such a stunning Resort! Very clean and everyone speaks English and are very helpful! My hubby and me had a swim-up room and it was stunning our swim up room only had sun in the morning but that’s okay because there are so many pools to hangout at! I personally loved the roof top! You get more sun and the water is a little cooler! The food was amazing and we didn’t get sick at all!

O2 Beach Club and Spa: Wonderful Hotel

Location is amazing, right on the beach. Very laid back vibe and yet so close to the Gap. Room, and all areas of Hotel very well taken care of. Staff are extremely friendly and will go out of their way to help you.

Sandals Barbados: Great Resort

This was our third visit to Sandals Barbados .. food was excellent , service was excellent ... weather was fantastic.. and the grounds were great only positive impressions ... can’t wait to go again

Hilton Barbados: Disappointing vacation

My family visited this resort for a week vacation and we were disappointed. Although the grounds and beaches are beautiful, the resort is dated and the staff not welcoming. Housekeeping does not provide enough towels, shampoos and soap for a family of 4. 2 water glasses were available in the room. When we asked for additional one (since there was four of us), we were told they didn’t any more. The restaurants are over priced and the staff is very slow. Both beaches are public so be wary of people coming up to you pretending to be working at the hotel and sell you stuff.

Sandals Barbados: Fantastic resort with a few nit-picks

What a beautiful resort overall! Probably one of the nicest places we've been when looking at grounds layout and food. Service was Caribbean-slow and check-in was delayed yet again like our last Sandals experience. Favourite places to eat and hang out were the Paris Cafe for coffee and snacks, Le Parisienne rooftop restaurant for dinner and Soy for fantastic Sushi. It was really nice to have access to everything on the Sandals Royal Barbados side of the resort. The only difference between [... read more] the two resorts are the rooms....everything else is shared. We enjoyed the pool on the Royal-side with the swim-up bar by the entertainment stage area. The beach was beautiful, but red-flags the whole day due to waves. Everyone raves about the Friday-night Oisten fish event in town, but we found it excessively expensive for what you get. Would go back for sure and highly recommend!

Time Out Hotel Barbados: Good resort

The hotel is very very good. The location is very good. The services are excellent. I like this hotel very much. I will come back for sure and I will recommend it to anyone. I never tried the food in the restaurant as I only purchased flight and hotel. The beaches in Barbados are amazing.Thank you

Starfish Discovery Bay: Even Better Second Time

A small resort in an amazing beach front location on the fabulous west coast of Barbados. We found the service from the friendly staff even better than last year. Our garden view room was as close to the beach as it possibly could be. It was clean and well maintained. A Welcome Back card and bottle of red wine was in the room when we arrived. Time Out Hotel Barbados: Great resort!!

This hotel was very nicely maintained. The rooms were far above what I was expecting. Not to mention the beds were extremely comfortable. The front desk, cleaning and maintenance staff were beyond courteous and friendly. My only negative comment is about the restaurant staff. There was just one woman out of many that took the time to greet us when we went into the restaurant. It’s also located in a great area with lots of bars and restaurants all along the bay. Amazing!!

Savannah Beach Hotel: Was as standard as they come.

I have been to many resorts, and this was the first one in Barbados. I understood that the prices are higher than the one I went to, so my expectations were much higher when it came to quality. Unfortunately it wasn’t so good as I imagined. The food was good, slightly better than a resort in Dominican, but the options were limited. They cleared our towels but never replaced them. The beach front was awful, you could not go into the water at all. The bathrooms were outdated and old. If i did not have family there, I would of had a miserable time. I will come back to Barbados but will no be staying there. Not worth the money.

Turtle Beach Barbados a Tribute Port: Relaxing Resort

The resort is very airy with open restaurants and comfortable amenities. Service is excellent and staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is clean and comfortable but bathroom can use a renovation as shower glass door leaks water on the bath floor outside the tub.

Time Out Hotel Barbados: Amazing

Great this is my 3rd stay at time out and I will be back 2020!!!! Food was good area is perfect the people on st Lawrence gap are super friendly.... ps don’t forget to get the rum punch ......,,,, ...

Sugar Cane Club Hotel and Spa: Amazing vacation

The place is so nice, clean rooms and resort and everyone at the resort is super friendly and helpful especially the bartenders :) I had a great time. If you go I recommend swimming with the turtles and going to the animal sanctuary in Barbados.

We had a great week at Turtle Beach. Beach and Pools were amazing and the service was impeccable. Food was always Great and Plentiful. Rooms were good but Bed was Hard and Hot Water was not always plentiful.

Sandals Barbados: One of the best Sandals Resort we visited so far.

Exceeded our expectations. So much to see and do we may have to visit a second time. We really enjoyed walking through the pathways enjoying the view of the different varieties of flowers especially the Hibiscus. The staff members are friendly. The Ambassador in the Horticultural Department is very knowledgeable. We met a few of the Hotel Managers and they were never too busy to stop by and chat with us.

Turtle Beach Barbados a Tribute Port: Great resort with a relaxed atmosphere

Nothing pretentious or fancy about this resort, which was a positive for me! Nobody racing to the biuffet or to get a lounger on the beach. Rooms are clean, staff is very helpful. Beach is spotless although water is choppy (Red flag for half of our trip) but fun if you enjoy big waves. Water sports staff is very friendly. Food is a bit repetitive but tasty and fresh.
