Great experience

Heaven on earth, we enjoyed our stay very much, really a 5 star resort and the service was unforgettable.some restaurants weren’t as tasty but the presentation was gorgeous.the beach was very well maintained.

Beautiful resort

The entire resort was beautifully landscaped, clean and nicely laid out. The food, entertainment and atmosphere was great. Pools clean. Beach was amazing. No problem getting chairs. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our coffee maker and light weren’t working. We reported the problem and it was fixed immediately. We would strongly recommend this resort.

Amazing resort

The Valentin Imperial Maya is an amazing resort. We stayed there on our third stay the week of April 14,2018.If you enjoy walking this resort is for you, although all you have to do is call for a ride if you don’t feel like walking. The beach is clean and gorgeous with maybe 1 or 2 beach vendors a day. All of the restaurants have wonderful food with lots of choices. Once again an amazing trip

we just came back from the Valentin for the 11th time! yes I said "11 times" in the last 5 years. This resort is Amazing! The food is awesome, never got sick from eating at the Valentin. The quality of the food is great, always consistent, never a disappointment. The staff is also great, several of them made a point to talk to us because they recognized us from previous visit. They work hard and we ALWAYS tip them which is a reason why they recognized us. Would anybody do this in Canada? why do it in a poor country where the service is better than most restaurant back home. Awesome place, do not hesitate to book at this resort.

Valentin Imperial Maya Apr.1-8 2018

Just returned from 7 days at Valentin. This was our 2nd time – last time was 4 years ago. Good news is that things have not changed much – they have done an excellent job keeping up with maintenance on rooms and grounds keeping is immaculate. As before, service is top shelf and food is good. Still wish there was a supper buffet option for those nights you don’t feel like dressing up for the a la cartes, but you know that going in. We again had a golden swimup room, and I would highly recom [... read more]mend this option as well worth the price – it guarantees you 2 dedicated chaises next to lazy river, which means you don’t need to play the game of getting up early to “reserve” a chaise with shade by putting your towel on one – we witnessed people putting their towels on chaises at 6:30 am, then not showing up to actually use the chaises till noon! In my opinion, the only thing missing is a dedicated coffee bar to allow you to easily get a cup of coffee any time. Would definitely return.

Awesome Resort

We were in the Imperial Junior Suites Ocean Front (bldg 13). The room was always clean. The concierge Mauricio was always courteous & ensured our dinner reservations were made. Food was excellent & as privileged members we were entitled to have lobster every day. The staff was pleasant & the mini bar was always replenished with our favourite drinks.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya

Location is convenient, 25 min from airport Grounds immaculate No bracelets, and unlimited restaurant dining without reservations Food and drinks very good Main pool and quiet lazy river pool amazing Beach well maintained daily to remove seaweed. Don Miguel's bar a must with the dry ice martinis Rooms clean and well appointed with wifi speakers in ceiling. Mini bar well stocked and even had chips. Adults only resort Overall excellent and would return

A less than perfect resort

Pros are that the grounds are beautiful, the room was nice and the staff were very friendly. Cons are the best seating in the restaurants (outside) was reserved for smokers, the coffee was terrible, the best cabanas are available only for an extra cost ($130 usd per day), the food was very fancy and the portions in the alacarte restaurants were small and the buffet restaurant was not available at dinner. We often had to wait to be seated at the buffets even though there were lots of tables av [... read more]ailable and no lineup. We saw a man denied entry to the Italian restaurant because he had open toed sandals on. This level of dress code is ridiculous given that his wife and every other woman were admitted entry with open toed sandals. This was an expensive resort and to be refused entry to a restaurant for that reason is one of the reasons we aren’t returning.

Amazing Resort

This is our second time returning to this resort and it was as amazing the second time. I highly recommend this resort. Everything about it is amazing (food, drinks, grounds, staff, pools, beach, rooms, entertainment). Looking forward to returning again. I also highly recommend using O'Neil Graham from trip central. He goes out of his way to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Beautiful!!

Chose this hotel for a special anniversary trip after much research and recommendations from a friend. Upon arrival we quickly realized that the many, many, many return guests were telling the truth, the Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya is AMAZING!! Accommodations; we loved our swim-up room in building 7, close to restaurants and the beach and our preferred location at the quieter “lazy river”. Plenty of spots to enjoy sun and shade. The grounds of the resort were clean and well-manicured and we both remarked on the extra details in the landscaping and facilities, which put this resort a step or two above others we have enjoyed. Service; top-notch in every way. Maria at the lazy river was attentive and efficient and went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. All of the waiters were wonderful, but Maria stood out!! The maître d’s at the restaurants were excellent and we rarely waited more than a few minutes for a table. We were a little perturbed by the wait for the breakfast and lunch buffets in the Marche and Beachside restaurant; it wasn’t excessive, it just didn’t make sense with so many empty tables available. I would suggest having at least one more hostess to assist with seating. Food; in a word Awesome! Buffet breakfasts and lunches were varied and delicious. We enjoyed room service breakfasts as well. We preferred the Indonesian Restaurabt above all, but every restaurant meal was delicious and plentiful. We especially enjoyed the Hibachi experience; Enrique was quite funny and talented. Shows; we didn’t see all of the shows but we enjoyed the Fire show and the Magician most of all. Highly recommend both! Like many others, we hope to return soon, for an entertaining and relaxing vacation. P.S. the special dessert and bottle of bubbly for our Anniversary was a wonderful surprise.

Amazing Resort

Our room was awesome and loved the huge indoor hot tub. The resort was beautiful and all restaurants had great food, gained a few pounds there. Overall an excellent place that we will be going back to.

Amazing resort

A very beautiful resort, the staff are amazing, you can tell they go out of their way to please you. Everyone raves about the food, but I rave about all the workers who make you feel welcome and at home. I have been to the Valentin six times and will continue to go because it has everything you could ask for. So I don’t mess with perfection.

Amazing & unique resort

This resort is very well managed Landscaping is unreal , very well design , secure, very well maintained. The bldg. , the room is spacious , hot water in quantity & lot of water pressure. The restaurants are fantastic, the food is excellent, tasty & very good selection We can walk the beach both sides of the resort. For me , there was a lack of water sport...but there nothing can be done to ameliorate the situation. Facing directly the ocean, most of the time it's really too choppy to adve [... read more]nture. Still we can enjoy the ocean, swim safely in the proper area. The last, but not the least "the people" working in the resort, they're really going out of their way to please us. I talked & waved to all people of the resort including managers to the labor & they seem to enjoy us & greatly answered to us by talking & waving...........often offering a ride ! Great pools to please everybody in nature

All needs were met

We had an amazing stay at Valentin Imperial Maya. Service was excellent. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Above and beyond for customer service. Food was spectacular. We had a guest in our group who is celiac and they crafted a letter for her to present at each restaurant so they would know. The chef often came out to confirm what she could eat and sometimes offered to make something off menu! Great activities offered by an enthusiastic events staff who seemed to remember everyone's names despite there being hundreds of people coming and going. We would go back tomorrow if we could.

Excellent once again!

We arrived around noon, check in was quick and our room was ready, very happy! We have been to this resort two times already so know what to expect and they did not disappoint. When we booked with our travel agent we had asked for a few things and our requests were done. Grounds are beautiful, food was great, the Japanese restaurant could use more waiters.Entertainment was varied and pretty good. First class resort!

Every aspect of this resort is first class and customer focused. The staff is fantastic, the food is great, the grounds are beautiful, the rooms, clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a top notch resort this is the place to go.

Great Resort

Beautiful resort and room was fantastic for what we were looking for. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating and the food is great at all restaurants! The pool is the nicest one we've ever seen and they have really fun activities throughout the day.

Lovely resort

Facilities, grounds, activities and beach are all fantastic. Service levels are second to none with an obvious culture to please the guests. The pools are wonderful too with something for everyone. Dining is 5-star without a doubt, including the buffets. I would not recommend booking Building 1 or 2; these rooms are small with no privacy to bathroom. Love the Valentin Imperial Maya:)

We stayed at the VIM for our 3rd time from Jan 19-26,2018. We had our honeymoon here in 2012 and still love it! The property is huge and well maintained..gives the feeling of not being full or crowded even if fully booked. The staff are fantastic and we've never had problems with poor/rude service. We spent time at the quiet pool as well as the beach..both are great! The beach is beautiful sand and swimming is awesome. The food and restaurants are one of the best things about this resort...even  [... read more]though you don't leave the resort it feels like you're getting dressed up and "going out":) If you're looking for an anniversary or honeymoon vacation..without kids..this is one of the best places to go! The basics suites are really nice (building 3 & 4 are great locations) and we upgraded to quiet pool swim up suite this time...we loved it!! (building 8). Pretty close ( 25 mins) from Cancun airport as well which is a bonus.

Finally the top resort

What a pleasant surprise. We just returned from Valentin Imperial Maya where we were for one week. I rate this resort a perfect 5 star. The accommodations, the grounds, the staff and yes the top quality food. This was the best vacation I have had in years.
