YOU WILL NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED

This is my 3rd trip to the Rui Sante Fe. The resort and rooms are clean. The staff very friendly. The restaurants are clean and have a wide variety of food choices (all Great). The pools and activity staff are amazing. I had no issues with towel or availability of lounge chairs. The weather is amazing not a cloud in the sky.The view is spectacular. I would definitely go back again.

Great Resort

Great place. Only complaint is the doors could have been better insulated for sound in the rooms - could hear people in the halls much too well. Had a great time. The beach is nice but the waves are big.

Great Resort

Everything about this Resort is great, it is always clean, the staff is friendly, the food is however mediocre at best. But what is NOT up to par is the wine. The wine that they serve at the buffet, as well as all the specialty restaurants tastes like petroleum......absolutely the worse wine I have ever had, it is COMPLETELY UNDRINKABLE. When we asked for another wine, that would be better than the first one they gave us they came back with the exact wine, different bottle. This made us go out of the resort for dinner instead of having to endure this horrible horrible beverage they call wine. Will probably NOT stay here again due to this very reason

Awesome Pools and Tacos

I went with my parents so I was just looking to have a relaxing time at the beach/pool, read a book, work on my tan, and eat some good Mexican food. Overall, this resort ticked all those boxes! The resort is large so you can walk around and hang out in different areas. The beach isn't that great because it's right on the Pacific Ocean, so the water is too choppy to swim and the sand is coarse. And it was nice to have one pool that is quieter and good for families and another pool further away that's more for the party-goers. I actually thought the buffet restaurants were better than the a la carte restaurants. They offer more variety, and the a la carte restaurants serve the appetizers and desserts buffet-style anyway. The Asian and Italian restaurants left something to be desired. The lunch restaurant had a grill that served tacos and there's a taco stand in the main courtyard in the evening, and these were awesome! The rooms were nice and clean. The only downside was that you couldn't get a hot shower from 5pm onwards, probably because everyone's taking a shower at that time. Overall, I had a great time and would come back if returning to Cabo.

Great resort

The Riu Santa fe is a great resort with a lage ground and beautiful gardens, all areas in the Resort is very well kept, staffs are very friendly, we had a great stay. Food at the buffet was very good but did not change much from day to day, we all think the food in the Asian restaurant is bed, still self serving for most food except entree which only have a few choose.

Resort was decent

The resort is beautiful rooms are clean food isn't spectacular. Don't go during March the spring breakers are out of control we had one in our room at 3:30 in the morning somehow our sliding door got unlocked which we never kept it unlocked. People were falling over drunk and throwing up everywhere no matter where you were you could smell the drugs. I would recommend this place just not during March.

Good trip

Food was great service was great The only complaint it was it was spring break and all the college students were blowing off steam and were not mind full of other guests. I would return but not during spring break a little out of control for my likings I can't say enough about the service and the food.

Good!

The food was good.There was a good variety.Drinks were good except red wine.It was kept very clean.Staff was very friendly and helpful.There were a lot of spring breakers.Would not go in March again too noisy.

Wonderful resort!!

Well maintained and clean resort! Staff were very gracious and eager to make our stay perfect! Standard room was good and the food in the buffet was fresh and featured something new if you went for dinner. Our experience at the steak and Asian restaurant was ok. Cabo is a great location! Our 4th time but 1st at this resort. Would recommend this resort!

Very Nice Week in Cabo!

We stayed the week of mar 2 thru 9. This is a very big resort, but very nice. The service is excellent thru out the whole resort. The food was excellent, and lots of choices at the buffet's. Service also great. The beach was nice, just not one to go in the water, due to the waves/undertow. Wall mart and Marina a close bus/taxi ride, otherwise a 20 to 40 minute walk. The resort was very clean and beautiful. Lots of hard working staff... Was surprised about the amount of SPRING BREAKER'S at this [... read more] resort, they never quite filing into the premise. Never seen this at any other resort, but were alright for the most part... will pay a little more attention to restriction's next trip. Thanks to the staff at the Riu Santa Fe.

Mixed feelings

Clean. Friendly warm staff for the most part. Not recommended for a Celiac. Food just ok. No cocktails at the restaurants. Beautiful beach. No wifi in rooms. Rooms are nice. No drinks served to you at the pool. Pools are lovely, warm. Ran out of toilet paper and soap in the room. No extras like little lotions or mouth wash. Towels are hard. Beds are comfortable.

Rui Santa Fe

We had a fantastic time at this resort and would highly recommend it to others! The grounds, the service, the food, the pools...... all AMAZING! I didn't want to leave and will go back 100% in the future.... SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Beautiful Resort

The resort grounds, buildings, structures, pools and central public square were all beautiful. The staff were fantastic. The entertainment was ok. Our room was really nice, but lacked an alarm clock and a coffee maker. Where the resort fell short was with the restaurant services. For a resort of this size (905 rooms) there were only 4 a la carte restaurants, which did not take reservations, so guests had to line up and wait or show up at a later time and hope that the wait list had been taken c [... read more]are of. The service in the a la carte in a few restaurants were slow and the food was served cold... very disappointed. The buffet was very good.

Amazing resort

Good food, very clean. Beautiful view from our ocean view room. Will repeat visit this hotel. A little loud in the wee hours of the morning but other then that it was a great experience. Taxi cabs to town were there within minutes.

Amazing and clean

great food,clean, very helpful staff..... take a cab to the marina and see the market but you don't really need to leave resort it has every thing .Lots of goods being sold on the beach ( blanket plates silver goods hats sun glasses )A great get away

Best resort I've ever had the pleasure to spend a week

Great service ..staff could not have been more friendly, helpful and cordial The hotel maintenance was next to none... I would strongly recommend this hotel and the Sunwing team to any friends or family members

Riu Santa Fe

We just came back from Riu Santa Fe. here is straight forward what I think and you can count on it. Service excellent everywhere in the Hotel. From the front desk, pool, bars, restaurant, cleaning staff, this feature sets them apart from many hotels. Food is good not the greatest, could use some more spices, appears to be finding a neutral taste so appeals to everybody. I was delighted to find this. Entertainment. Good but could be better if they use proper sound equipment. The entertainment area is very large and the speakers are not powerful enough to bring clean sound, and because of it , it takes away from the good showmanship and entertainment performances. Riu really you can afford a much better sound system. I am completely sure, the artists will be so happy and so will the people enjoying their performances. A negative for some may be that people do get loud at night and through the night, so be prepared to be woken up and not be able to sleep fully because of the loud shouting having fun at night. I fixed this by ordering more pillows and simply covered by ears at night. The Hotel may be find useful to purchase noise strips that are place on the frame of the doors and keep away the outside noise. I used this for my basement at home where I blast my surround sound cinema hideaway, and no one upstairs can hear anything. What is best is that the strip is pretty cheap but does great work. This would be a good thing for Riu to do to take care of this problem. All in All, we had a great time at this Hotel and we would definitively go back again. Other than these minors constructive criticisms, I highly recommend this Hotel.

Worth a return trip

The main pool located infront of building 7 has spectacular views. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning breakfast overlooking the ocean. Nice rooms, good food. Our second time at this RUI. Well worth a returned visit.

Sunset Escape

Romantic views, stunning scenery, very cleanly, lots of food to choose from.Rooms our spacious Huge pools with swimup bars Lots of activities going on.Lot of excursons with horseback riding- Atv-whalewatching-sunset dinner.

Riumazing

Hotel, grounds, room etc are all immaculate. I am particular but found no fault with cleanliness. We never had to ask for towels or supplies. The fridge was regularly topped up, however, we had no rum when got our room on Sunday, and after asking Monday for the rum to be replenished it took until Saturday. This is our only complaint and as the resort is all-inclusive it wasn't really that big of a deal. Food was very enjoyable. The drinks were made very well. The selection of food and drinks  [... read more]was quite amazing. The evening entertainment was good .... had us bopping in our chairs and singing along. I can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff. We may have seen 1 sourpuss, everyone else was happy, friendly and helpful. The sportsbar made great cappucino's and expresso's. I would absolutely visit a Riu again.
