Outrigger Royal Sea Cliff: Great condo complex.

Booked a 1 bdrm and was upgraded to a 2 bdrm. Lots of room and very well appointed. Complex was clean and quiet and all staff were very friendly. 2 pools on site (not heated though) and a "warm" tub (was not hot!). Complex was 1.5 mile walk into town which was perfect for wearing off some calories after a big dinner in Kailua-Kona. The complex is right on the ocean (great sunsets) but there is no beach or swimming. Unlike Kaanapali in Maui, there is no boardwalk along the ocean. The only place t [... read more]o walk or run for exercise is along the very busy road in front of the hotels/condos that stretch all the way into town. If you want to swim at big, white sand beaches you have to drive about 45 mins north to the resort areas. The beaches near Kailua-Kona are very small and rocky with a fair amount of surf. Be sure to rent a car.

Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach: Amazing Resort

We really love this Hotel resort, it is amazing fantastic place that we have been and the areas are very clean and swimming pools are very clean and warm water. We will love to go back here again and will bring our family with us to share the nice resort.

Hilton Garden Inn Kauai Wailua Bay: Sapcious hotel

It is more quiet and spacious than I thought. The only thing that is noisy is roosters sound at 1:30am. I got used to it the second night. Employees at front desk and cleaning lady who changes bed sheets are very friendly. The employees in the restaurant, some are friendly, some are not. Refrigerators are so cold that everything was frozen hard like freezer. You have to adjust the temperature to the "min". Sink gets stuck very quickly so you will have to make sure no things get down there and al [... read more]so need to clean it often. No ventilation in washroom so make sure your room windows are open all the time. No balcony either. Fantastic beach. Great price.

The Westin Maui Resort and Spa: Beautiful, but too expensive

Positives: The hotel and especially the grounds are outstanding as far as beauty goes. The room was lovely and overlooked the garden area and even on the third floor , there was very little noise from outside. The beach was close by and again very beautiful. The pools were well maintained and not too crowded. The concierge and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Negatives: We had a very unpleasant experience in the Oceanside Restaurant when a waiter spilled a tray of drinks on someone in [... read more] our party and basically tried to laugh it off. The guest wasn't offered any compensation at all and was treated rudely. The food was quite expensive for the quality. There was noise in the hallways that could be clearly heard in the room. Since I am not a weight room user, all I received for the additional $31.50/night resort fee was 2 bottles of water a day and wi-fi---terrible! The Business Center also charged for using the hotel computer after the first 15 mins. if you didn't have your own computer with you. Too many add-ons to make the stay extremely expensive. I would look elsewhere next time.

Courtyard King Kamehameha's Kona Beach: No.1 in our opinion

This was our second time at the King. We brought our two 11 year old granddaughters. The location is perfect the beds and pillows were comfortable the staff is great the food at the pool bar is good and reasonably priced the snorkelling in front of the hotel is better than the snorkel tour we went on. We've travelled to Hawaii 4 times and been all over Mexico and the Carribean this is the best hotel we've been to and will be back next year the only thing we were disappointed with was paying 15 d [... read more]ollars a day to park our rental car.I recommend this hotel to all our friends. Royal Kona Resort: Fantastic view

This is our 3rd time staying at the resort. It is very conveniently located. A short drive from the airport. It is right in Kona so you are within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It is a bonus that you can enjoy happy hour everywhere and can walk back to the hotel. Almost all the restaurants have a view of the ocean. Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Waikiki Beach: Average Room

The grounds had minimal facilities. The restaurant was outdoors and when we arrived there was a storm so dinning was no fun. For the overall condition of the hotel and it's location, it definately wasn't worth the amount paid for.

Royal Kona Resort: Great location,

I loved the location and the ocean view. The rooms could use a makeover But we're large and comfy. Loved the private lagoon. Everybody was friendly, cheerful, and super polite. I would go back in a blink!

Pacific Monarch: Perfect Location

My husband and myself stayed October 29th to the 30th. The location was so terrific. It was only 2 blocks away from the beach. Our 11th floor room also had a partial view of the ocean, an unexpected surprise. We found the room was very well appointed, clean and the bed was very comfortable for us. The rooftop pool has a wonderful view of the ocean and surrounding sites. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We would definitely stay again if we return to Hawaii

Moana Surfrider: Simply the best !

Whether you are talking about the location, lobby, service, rooms or restaurant, this hotel is simply the best! My wife and I stayed there for 12 days and simply put, this hotel has it all. First you have the history and tradition of the First Lady of Waikiki; Afternoon tea in the veranda, colonial architecture rooms with shutters, sweeping staircases and lobby that take you to another time of elegance. Loved the shutters, shower and heavenly king size bed! Especially liked being only steps from the pool and beachouse outdoor restaurant, The pool area again is wonderful with the banyan and palm trees providing shade if you so wish. I particularly enjoyed listening to the performers singing island style music while we relaxed by the pool. Again you are steps from the beach and panaramic views of the ocean and Diamond head! Catamaran out outrigger canoes are close by as is excellent restaurants and shopping. Bottom line, you won't be disappointed! Truly a resort with real Aloha!

Maui Coast Hotel: Very good resort

Excellent location, good service, friendly staff, good food, very good facility with good rooms. Close proximity to good restaurants. Good access to public transportation. Likely will return in the near future.
