Krystal Ixtapa: Great Stay

We stayed for a week feb 20 /18 Had a great stay , our Delux ocean view room was good, awesome view, the king bed was comfy , maid service was excellent. Food was mostly good, breakfast was always a hit , Some lunches were a miss , but there was always a good fresh salad. Loved Xavier in the pub. Martin in the restaurant was great. We found it clean, and alwYs had food and drinks, snack bar was good.on the weekends they also did a BBQ out by the pool. All in all we would definitely stay again.

Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: Excellent Place!

My wife and our three girls (23,19 & 19) really enjoyed Sunscape. The best quality about this resort is the service, top notch. Antonio, Uli and Carlos were simply amazing! Thanks guys! The rooms were very clean and comfortable and they stocked your fridge every day. The food was very good, we always found something we liked on the menu/buffet. The Italian al la carte was excellent. They also have a snack truck which was great for lunch items. The pool was designed perfectly. The pool b [... read more]ar on one side of the bridge, then a large section for those who like to chill on the other side and then another section where the water slides are. There was lots of seating around the pool except it was disappointing as all the good spots are taken by those who get up at 5 in the morning and they stay down there until the towels are distributed at 7:00 am. Very territorial as we called it. There is not a lot of seating on the beach as its mainly for Sun Club people and if there was seating, its muskoka chairs. We actually rented a palapye bed on the beach for 30US which included a bottle of white wine and it was fantastic. Very comfortable and private. We have stayed at many other resorts in Ixtapa and I can honestly say that the Sunscape so far has been the best resort and we highly recommend it. Park Royal Ixtapa: Great hotel!

My husband and I just returned from Ixtapa Park Royal Feb. 27/18 and had an amazing time! Sunshine, fabulous sunsets, smaller resort which we enjoyed, main buffet for breakfast and dinner plus the Pescador patio or indoor buffet for breakfast and lunch had good variety. Beds were somewhat hard but I had no trouble sleeping. Buffet food was not often hot and while I had some concerns regarding food safe we experienced zero stomach issues. Italian a la carte excellent food and service. Beautiful beach and premises, pool deck, and washrooms were kept very clean, mopping and tidying constantly. 3-4 star rating. No noise problems, toiletries and face cloths, towels supplied daily Decorated towels a delight, something new and surpring each day

Azul Ixtapa Resort: Great resort

It was my first experience traveling all inclusive and it was just amazing!! Super clean environment, excellent food and very friendly staff!!! I would give A+ to this hotel with confidence and recommend it to everyone

Holiday Inn Ixtapa: Holiday Inn Resort, Ixtapa

Resort in Ixtapa was great, personal fantastic and main reason for going back for the 11th year. Location to town great, beach is the best you could ever ask for. Food is another story. Breakfast and lunch good bit evening meals terrible. Alacarte menus bad, buffet tolerable. We ate in town 11 o f the 14 days for evening meals. New management will hopefully correct the meal situation.

Azul Ixtapa Resort: fabulous resort in the best spot possible

This hotel has something to offer everyone. If you like pools it has 3, if you prefer the beach you have a gorgeous soft golden sand beach with plenty of chairs available at any time of the day. The hotel is close to a small market and to other immenities if you need a souvenier to take back home or if you want a snack at an off hour. If you want to take a trip into town on the public bus you can get picked up right outside. Rock climbing, sailing, kayaking, snorkelling, and scheduled fitness activities. The food was awesome (I am on a restrictive diet and had absolutely no problem with the food choices). This was definitely a top notch resort.

Park Royal Ixtapa: Park Royal Ixtapa

The room was clean, the staff helful and friendly. The food was good, the Italien a la carte restaurant was excellent. Will go back. If the hotel could put more chairs on the beach, that would be excellent.

Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: Almost Perfect!

This is my second visit to this resort. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, all with spectacular views of the ocean. Fridge stocked with the beverages we requested. Prompt responses from housekeeping and the front desk for all requests. The food at the buffet was excellent (especially the Mexican and healthy choices). Our only complaint (which is minor but would have really enhanced our enjoyment) is the band in the lounge was very poor (played the exact same lousy music every evening). We not only stopped in Manzanillo, but we deplaned, took our luggage, cleared customs and immigration, rechecked our bags and went through

Azul Ixtapa Resort: Excellent stay!

We stayed at the Azul Ixtapa Resort from February 2-9 and we were quite impressed with everything, from the service, to the food, and the amazing view from our room. The service is excellent everywhere we went, staff were always smiling, always said hello and they are ALWAYS cleaning! The rooms were comfortable and clean. We ate at Costa &The Oyster Bar for our à la cartes and the service was excellent at both restaurants, although Costa was our favourite. We will definitely return and possibly [... read more] check out the Azul Grand too one year as we did find there were a lot of kids and a lot of locals at this resort, which doesn't bother us, except that it was a little harder to have quiet time :)

Hotel Emporio Ixtapa: Loved the Emporio and Staff!!

Room was good size for 2 and staff were absolutely superb and accomodating, especially the Activity Group with Carlos, Daniel and another activity provider!!!!! I was fully involved in the bicycling of 20 kms to Playa Linda, saw the alligator refuge, great flea market and wonderful beach, lots of water activities at the pool and zumba dancing, well done guys!! The Food Service and Liquor Service Staff were all fabulous as well, I would definitely come back to Ixtapa!!

Hotel Emporio Ixtapa: This Resort has it All!

The Emporio Hotel is On the Ocean, The food was the best I've had at any all-inclusive Resort. There were lots of Activities and an Attentive Friendly Staff. Ixtapa is lusher, hillier and not as dry as other places I've been in Mexico. I'd love to go back next year! Same time, same place Same Hotel. Thanks for a great time!

Azul Ixtapa Resort: Amazing resort

Hotel was very nice clean good service food was excellent good layout and variety of food everything was great the best part of holiday was the weather too. We both had a good time . I was worried about the hotel transfer but no problem so far definitely booking again the same place with tripcentral.ca

Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: Awesome resort

The hotel was excellent everything from the rooms the service and the food. My only complaint would be that at 6pm they basically rolled up the carpets and turned out the lights outside. The lobby bar was open but everyone from newborn to ninety was in there. Also you should let people know that if you want to eat at the airport they need to do so before they go through security otherwise you have to go through there a second time.

Hotel Emporio Ixtapa: Very well planned trip from start to finish

The start of the trip was great, there was a representative to greet us at the Mexico airport and show us to the correct bus for the trip to the hotel. The rep. travelled with us on the bus and informed us of the does and don'ts for the stay in Ixtapa ..The rep. was around every day to make sure everything was going as it should be.The hotel was as described in the trip information. Krystal Ixtapa: Awsome resort

Loved my time, very friendly and helpful staff, maid service was excellent, food was good, Bogart's was excellent, didint have time to go to the Italian restaurant, but heard it was excellent , I would deffinitly stay at the Krystal again

Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: Great Resort

This is a great place to stay great service great food great rooms the only thing is there is a lack of options off resort if this place was in Ixtapa it would be Fantastic. Also so people are aware there is basically no beach at this resort and the one real annoyance was there were no chairs and tables in the pool areas, not everyone wants to sit on broken sagged out loungers all day.

Las Brisas Ixtapa: Las Brisas Ixtapa

Loved the seclusion of the resort. We thought the food could have been better. I guess we were looking for a bit more authentic Mexican Cuisine. We would probably go back again but would eat more meals off-resort. Staff was really friendly, helpful and always happy.

Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: Fabulous time

Just came back from The Azul Ixtapa Grand resort in Mexico. The word GRAND describes it well. From the moment we arrived on January 18 until we left January 25th we were treated like royalty. Our room 1515 was right in the centre and the view was amazing. Rooms are beautiful and HUGE. Our “maid”was Luis and he kept it spotless, along with daily towel decor. Gals that booked A La Carter’s for us worked hard to fulfill our requests and we were able to book them all on our first day! All res [... read more]taurants were amazing, our favourite was the Asian and our least favourite was The Oyster. Buffet lacked choice but we never went hungry, soup was amazing. Bar staff always very pleasant and our waiters at the pool lovely. Adult pool lovely and quiet. Beach very dissapointing but two minutes to left of resort there was a nice one. Be sure to visit YELLOW tshirt massage ladies on the beach to your right, amazing is my only word. Where else can you get a head to toe hour long massage for approximately 16.00 dollars (200 pesos) bus into town runs regularly and the cost is 12 pesos. Lots and lots of stairs, however there are elevators to take you to all levels, only you have to change, just like a bus LOL. All in all very pleased with this resort and would definitely recommend it.

Azul Ixtapa Resort: Lovely resort and wonderful staff.

The kindest and warmest staff who could not do enough for you and always pleasant from front counter to towel exchange. The room was cleaned daily and always a lovely creation on the beds. This was our second year and this time our son and wife and two girls were next door and in the center building, We had a balcony which my husband and I like and theirs was identical without balcony. We used our 3 specialty dinners there. The Oyster Bar was lovely also and you need to book ahead and you can go there every day for lunch. Second time in and not once did we ever feel unwell. The water is purified on site. I was treated to the spa next door at the Grand and it was sooooooo wonderful, a must. Best massage I have ever had never mind the spa features. Quiet and Elegant. The food at the buffet was good, but would have to say the desserts could have been a little more exciting and more variety. Over all a wonderful place and many return visitors.

This resort was overall excellent. Starting with the reception, the staff made quick work of getting us to the reception desk off the bus very quickly and with a big smile. We we're offered a cold drink as soon as we stepped off the bus The Porter's had our bags waiting to go to the room once we we checked in by the friendly front desk staff. We we're in our room in under 10 minutes. The room was spacious and very clean, which the house keeping staff kept up all week. The resort is situated very close to the water and along Sandy Beach great for walks anytime of the day. 2 large pool areas that never left us wanting for a deck chair either in the sun or the shade, lots of umbrellas. Pool staff was always available to get you a drink or you can get it from the multiple pool bars yourself. The daytime pool buffet was very go and easy to get to. Alla cart restaurants were good and we had no issues getting reservations. Buffets we're ok, not the best food we have had but there was always something good to eat. If you have kids, the resort has lots to keep them busy. Overall we had a great time here and would definitely recommend this facility.
