Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Good budget resort

Food was ok, rooms were alright, however there are no elevators except in one building. If you were to end up on the 4th floor there is alot of stair climbing. Nice short walk to Bucerias Centro square with lots of shopping, bands playing and awesome street tacos.

Samba Vallarta: very good small resort among the big expensive hotels

excellent service throughout the resort , small but big enough to have everything needed , food is excellent , drinks are as you expect , closed to Bucerias , transportation to downtown vallarta available through local bus or uber

Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: Tired Old Resort

If they would just refurbish the old tired bathrooms we could have enjoyed our stay a bit more. The shower door was broken & didn't close proper. Water temperature fluctuated from hot to cold almost burning you at times. Whoever changed the sink certainly wasn't a handyman. Such a poor job the faucet was so close to the wall you couldn't get your hands around them. The tiled vanity top must have been done by a child. Very poor job and grout missing all over. It just didn't look sanitary. The toi [... read more]let seat flopped all over the place and needed tightening. You needed to hold the flush button down or it didn't flush anything down. Apparently the last upgrade was back in the early 80's and it shows. The room had very few plug ins for charging. Our view was the roof of the dining room. Not terribly attractive. Daily maid service was very inconsistent. Sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon & sometimes in the evening. Should have been more regular. Food was ok but nothing special. Very repetitive . No ice cream but the desserts were good as was the baked bread & buns. The plastic glasses from the bar were rinsed and used over again & again. Yes rinsed not washed. The Mexican employees were always very accommodating & friendly. This was the best part of the experience. I guess you get what you pay for. We like to enjoy the Mexican culture but this was just a bit too dated & shabby for our liking.

Armony Marival Resort and Spa Punta de Mita: Amazing place to spend vacations

We enjoyed 7 days all-inclusive in Armony resort. Beautiful nature, delicious food (a lot of choices), comfort and luxury and very friendly staff. Great memories of nice long walks along the ocean on soft sand. No weeds in very clean water and the water was pleasantly warm. Every day we could watch whales playing in the bay, turtles on the beach, pelicans and other little birds and fish in the water. Surprisingly no mosquitos or any other flies. No humidity. Usually, the waves were getting smaller in the afternoon but you need to be a good swimmer if you would want to swim in the ocean water

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Great resort

I visited this resort 18yrs ago, I must say not much has changed, just some fresh paint. We really enjoyed it again. Everything is clean, staff are friendly and helpful and the food was great. I only have one complaint, the à la carte booking was ridiculous having to line up early in the morning just to try to book and you could only book for the day of. The recommended App did not work. We never ate at an à la carte as I was not wasting a few hours of our holiday standing in line.

Las Palmas by the Sea: Amazing Resort

Very clean everywhere. Always seemed like they were mopping or sweeping. Rooms were clean. Love the staff. Very friendly and welcoming. Loved the food, quite a variety everyday. The beach was very accessible and clean.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: First Time All Inclusive

I’ve never been to an all inclusive resort previously and I would definitely look for a different set of qualities in a resort next time. I found the hotel clean, the staff friendly and the overall environment very inviting. The food was consistent but pretty bland for my liking. The alcohol served was poor and I’m pretty sure watered down. I don’t drink much but when I do I would like a premium alcohol which isn’t watered down. Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Great resort

This was our 9th trip to Iberostar Selection Playa Mita and we have been to PV 26 times so far. For money spent this resort is excellent value. It isn't our favorite out of all of hem but 2nd in line and significantly less money comparatively. The buffet is always excellent with lots of fresh choices and on staff chefs to make you up something special. There is also someone coming through the dining area with a cart of special treats. The a la carte restaurants also have good food and are e [... read more]asy to get into. In the 12 years we have been going there it if course has more wear and tear and needs some TLC in spots but overall still great. This year we found it too busy and more kids then previous and most of the staff has slipped in their service because of being overworked but there are still some stand out workers. The beach is long and beautiful and so much fun to swim and boogie board but during full moons the water is high so your not getting out there until close to noon. They definitely need to replace the beach loungers and umbrellas but they are always available. When we have come with family the grandkids enjoyed the kids camp. All in all I would still say 4//5 for sure and possibly 5/5 if your coming with children and not going to an adult's only.

Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: Stay At Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta

Stayed at the Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta from January 9th-16th in an Altitude Club Oceanview Double room. The hotel itself is nice and the grounds are well maintained and easy to navigate. There are multiple pools including an adults only pool. Long stretch of walkable beach in both directions. Only a few KM right into the town of Bucerias. Pros: - Most food and drinks were well prepared and tasty. - Room had an amazing view of the bay. - Concierge in the Altitude Club were very hel [... read more]pful. - Most resort staff greeted you with a smile. - Walking distance by path or beach to Bucerias. - Free room service with Altitude Club. Cons: - Almost impossible to get a lounger by the beach or pools. Towel game is in full effect at this resort with people reserving chairs as early as 4am. - Mexican a la carte has extremely slow service when we tried to eat there. Ended up leaving without eating there as the food never arrived. - Buffet, while the food was good, was repetitive and small and had limited options for the amount of guests at the resort. - Fixtures in room were worn/dated or broken. Handle for the diverter in the shower was missing. Balcony doors did not lock. - No designated area for Altitude Club guests by the pool or beach like in most resorts. Regardless of the cons we had a pleasant stay and were able to make the most of it. It's definitely a good pick if you like to venture off resort and explore the towns.

Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta: Wonderful vacation at the Fiesta Americana!

We would like to thank all the employees for their kindness and hospitality. There are so many names to remember but some that stood out , Karla who booked our suppers from day to day, Rafael, Alejandro, Jorge, George, who waited on us from all the different restaurants. Decameron Isla Coral: Good beach. Terrible food. Friendly staff

We stayed at Decameron Isla Coral on Jan 7 - 14, 2026. The hotel is nice, the rooms and facilities are clean. The staff is friendly and happy to assist. I would call this place a hotel and not a resort. The hotel lacks many of the amenities that other resorts have (a coffee shop, more restaurants, better entertainment, gym, spa, etc.). The rating on Trip Central is 4 stars. I agree with Trip Advisor, it's a 3 star at the most. We were very disappointed with the food at the buffet. It's proba [... read more]bly the worst selection, quality and quantity we have even seen at a Mexican resort. Some of the salads, snacks and desserts were typically set out on small plates that quickly ran out. Most of the time, they were never replaced. There were almost no desserts to speak of. The entertainment at night was karaoke almost every night. The bar is very small with no more than 10-15 tables. We ended up going into town to walk around and eat at the local places. Mostly to eat something tastier or better. The highlight of the place for us was the beach. It's clean and great to swim or board. We also enjoyed the many beach vendors on the beach (if you don't mind that). You could buy fresh seafood or anything for that matter. We really enjoyed going out to town at night and trying different foods or shopping the many stalls or larger markets. The place feels safe and welcoming at any time of the day or night. Overall, we had a good week. I don't think we'll ever return to this place though.

Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort and Spa: Best holiday ever

We had a swim out room. Everything about this resort exceeded our expectations. Food, service, rooms, amenities. Would 100% recommend. View was and location are excellent. Only down side is as the beach right out front could be a little rocky.

Crown Paradise Club: disappointing

The good: Nice beach Clean rooms The bad: Had to wait in line for breakfast almost every morning. Once for almost an hour. Once we arrived at 10:40am (breakfast closes at 11am.) We finally got in at 11:05am.We went straight to the omelette station, by the time we were through the line up they had removed all the food from the buffet. No toast, no fruit, nothing! Decameron La Marina: Decameron la marina

Thank you to the staff as they were excellent. The hotel was clean and well kept. Rooms are spacious. Lobby bar could be kept open later allowing older people to stay away from sports bar.was way too loud .Need to tone the volume down as it echos in design of hotel. Food was hood but needs more variety in evenings from day to day. Use of the other decameron hotels within walking distance is a plus. Would rate it a 3+ stay

Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: Good New Year’s

The food at the resort is good and the daytime entertainment was fun! Bartenders were awesome at the adult swim up pool, where I spent most of my time. There are only two nighttime bars that close at 1am- the sports bar didn’t have much for sports and we couldn’t get the fire sticks to work. The rooftop bar was pretty cool. Not much for nighttime entertainment so we went into bucerias for bars and music. Good luck finding a chair on the beach or at the pool. The location on the beach was excellent- walking distance to bucerias and it was safe!

Friendly Fun Vallarta: Friendly Hotel Puerta Vallarta

We had a great time. Accommodations were perfect, amenities were very well used by all & food was excellent. Great location for getting around. Only downside was the volume of the music played by the pool, everyone yelling & no one could hear each other, most over heard was WHAT. Other than that great vacation!

Wonderful vacation with family of 8! Resort was everything you would want for a holiday. Food was delicious and plentiful. Hotel was spotless. Staff were always cleaning something. Rooms were superb!

Food was cold and poor selection. Salad bar always good. Very limited staff everywhere- Canadian Club Rye only 2 days !! Never had this happen any resort in Mexico Few English speaking staff--even bar tenders. Loud speakers We will not return to Grand Decameron Bucerias.
