The hotel and staff are amazing; excellent food, beautiful grounds, but there a few things they have to work on. - they need more staff in the kitchen, bar and pool during busy times because it takes a long time to get your meal. - they need ceiling fans in the lobby and bar area. - travel to town for shopping should not cost $20 one way. You should have a free shuttle service. - alcohol, water, and toiletries have not been replenished enough. Sunscape Curacao Resort: Amazing employees

The resort was extremely clean and employees were super sweet. We were in room 2419 and sewage gas was coming up through the drains. They changed our room when we complained for the second time. We also got stuck in the glass elevator for 45 minutes in the heat at 4 pm. We kept pushing the bell button but nobody answered, had no way of informing anyone untill we saw a guest looking up from outside and we could ask for help with our hands. Dreams Curacao Resort Spa and Casino: Well needed vacation

Stayed at dreams spa and casino in curacao, amazing staff/rooms/beaches and food. Weather was perfect covid protocols were top notch, everyone was happy to help with any issues that came up. The entertainment on site was also a big bonus. 10/10 would go again

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Not a Four Star

This resort advertises a four star resort. It is not. More like a 3 star. Very run down, not much cleaning happening at all and food is not very good !! Everything seemed very dirty. Including washrooms by japanese restaurant and the pools!! We paid for a beachfront room with Sun Club perks. Still not sure what the perks were…???

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Nice resort

The property was always constantly cleaning and disinfecting everything during COVID-19. Which made my group more safe being there. Very friendly staff. Wish there was more food options, wish we tried every restaurant, during covid they closed most of the restaurant and had only certain ones open. So I feel like I’m not getting the value food wise that I paid for. Plus I had a hotel room on the other side of the property even tho really no one was staying there.

Acoya Curacao Resort Villas and Spa: Very good resort

Very good resort in general. Only negative things are: No place to put our luggage and no closet in bedroom. We had our luggage on the living room coffee table all week. Always had to ask for face clothes, phone didn’t work. Other than that, really good.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Awesome place to vacation!

Having never been to Curacao, I was not sure what to expect; the resort exceeded any other place I have been in the Caribbean. Very friendly staff, clean beach, nice pool, good alcohol selection, quiet and relaxing; just what you want on vacation.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Loved this resort!

Most importantly the beach was incredible and you could snorkel right there. Our room was perfect and steps to the beach. Incredible sunsets every night!! We enjoyed the buffet, cafe and all the restaurants. We booked the 4 wheeler excursion right across the road. From the resort there was a free shuttle into the beautiful town of Williamstead daily. This resort had a nice casual feel with many kind people. Not far from the airport.

I really felt everything about this resort exceeded expectations from the rooms, food, drinks, service, pools, and especially the beach which was so close, sandy, and beautiful for snorkeling. The resort is not perfect, some aspects are dated but it really offered more than we could possibly need. Have reasonable expectations and you will be very pleased. Sunscape Curacao Resort: More a 3* property

The resort is an older property with a newer tower. The older rooms are dated. I was in two different rooms that required maintenance. The rooms are kept clean. A good supply of towels are changed daily and amenities like shampoo and lotions are supplied. A fridge is stocked daily. The beach is nice but not all soft sand. More shade areas need to be set up. I could not walk along the beach to other resorts but you can access them by walking out to the road. Sunscape Curacao Resort: Wonderful Stay

This was a wonderful extremely clean Resort. Our rooms were cleaned daily and the fridge replenished. There were reviews that the food was a hit and miss but we thoroughly enjoyed everything. We were told there was a new chef so maybe this is why. The buffet is not big like a RIU but the food is spiced and sauced just perfectly. The Seafood and Grill restaurants are right in the beach. The thing we really enjoyed is these are some of the friendliest people we have ever met. Very happy people anywhere u went. U are a 10 minute walk to the Sea Aquarium and Mambo beach. An island tour can be arranged at the desk where ur tour guide “Papi” will entertain u to make this one of the best tours to choose. Everyone we spoke to seemed to have no complaints and we would recommend this hotel. The weather was excellent with a breeze It was very enjoyable. We found the location to be great and a 2 dollar bus ride gets u to downtown Williamstad where u can shop and enjoy the culture.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Definitely a 4 star

The resort it self is very out dated. The food is ok, Japanese and sea food a la Cartes are quite good. This resort is definitely a 4 star, despite the fact that the staff was excellent. Left feeling I paid way too much for this experience. Could have done a lot better else where for the money. As a result I would have a hard time recommending this resort and no I won’t be going back.

Dreams Curacao Resort Spa and Casino: Nice resort

The hotel was very nice and quite small so quiet. They are trying hard to get organized but still have a ways to go. The dining facilities are adequate but I found the hot food on the buffet was always lukewarm at best. There are few restaurants on site and one of the nicest was closed 3 of our 7 nights which was disappointing. We only found out with two days to go that there was an al a carte lunch available at one of the outdoor restaurants. It would be nice if there was better communicat [... read more]ion or something posted in the lobby area as to what is open that day for lunch or dinner and then you could make choices. The pool and beach was nice but there was no place to go for a walk along the beach as it was quite small. The house wine was not good at all and buying the premium wines each day was quite expensive and they were always out of the ones you chose. We were at the resort during Carnival so the hotel shuttle was not running for 3 days during this event. The only way into town was by taxi which was very expensive. Again we wished this would have been communicated to us when we arrived so we could have made plans for another day. The weather is wonderful!

Sandals Royal Curacao: Nice resort but too quiet.

We stayed at the Santa Barbara resort in mid Feb. The resort is beautiful,rooms are nicely decorated we had a view of the water. Sadly this resort lacks entertainment of any kind. Theres no music at the pool or organized games. In the evening there isn't even any entertainment in the bar area. On Wed evening we found out from other guests not staff there was a beach bbque and thought great that should be fun. There were about 20 people there, so sad since at this event there was entertainment [... read more]! If you want a really quiet vacation then this is the spot.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Friendly Sunscape!

Beach front units are great. The resort is so already out that you don’t realize how big it actually is. Enjoyed not having to make reservations for the a la carte restaurants and each and many of the staff at Sunscape go out of their way for you. Snorkeling right off the beach is fantastic - would go again!

Curacao Marriott Beach Resort: Newly refurbished resort and they've done a fantastic job.

This resort has recently been refurbished and the results are amazing. The staff are excellent, the beach is wonderful (even some reasonable snorkeling) and the grounds are immaculate. They have several restaurants but not a big difference in levels of quality/ambience. There are very few off-premise restaurants that are within walking distance but there are a couple that offer a good change in menu. Everything was exceptional with no complaints, except one. The only option for breakfast  [... read more]is a $26 buffet. While it is an excellent buffet, we really don't want, or need, such a huge breakfast everyday. If they had a menu option available it would be much better. Otherwise you can only purchase a croissant or muffin which isn't really "vacation" food. If you are looking for a quality, relatively quiet place with excellent service, then I would recommend the Marriott. PS there is no casino at the Marriott but there is one next door at Dreams.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Five Star Resort!

This resort was exceptionally clean with very friendly staff and excellent restaurants and a very exceptional buffet. The pools were pretty but had a lot of steps and planters for decoration where you had to be careful not to trip or scratch yourself on the concrete. The rooms were lovely and large with clean, modern bathrooms. The resort is right on the ocean and the snorkeling was excellent. The staff had good entertainment that was different each night of our 7 day stay. I would definitely recommend this family resort to anyone.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Amazing snorkeling

Spacious rooms, great snorkeling. Friendly staff. My son lost his sunglasses and book at the beach and was great full when they were returned to him the next day. Could use some new beach chairs. Great cocktails.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Nice Place

The resort is in a good area with a nice beach. Some minor cosmetic work would be useful. All the staff are very good but it's obvious they could use a lot more staff. Wait times for drinks at the bar or service in the restaurants can be long so you have to be patient. The local bus stop right in front of the resort is handy for going into town and back. Short walk to Mambo Beach.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Great vacation

The resort was a average resort giving it a 3.5 The beach was good with great snorkeling right on site just a swim out from shore. The food was good but buffet was to be desired as most of the time the food was not much more than warm. The restaurants were much better to eat at. The entertainment was poor. Daily activities were offered but most people did not participate. It is a kid friendly resort with kids activities. Room was large and fairly modern.
