El Dorado Seaside Suites: Beautiful resort - so so food
The room was beautiful with a comfortable kingsize bed. Bathroom huge with jacuzzi bath and shower room. Drinks were fine but the meals were hit and miss. I felt we overpaid for this resort. Would not recommend it.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Service with a smile
My best friend and I stayed a week at the El Dorado Seaside Suites (Infinity Side) in an ocean view Pool suite.
The resort is fairly new and fairly well maintained, with modern, spacious and clean rooms.
Our room was a corner suite on the 4th floor in Building 6. We had a fairly large infinity pool with direct access from our balcony.
The first night, we had to call security 2x because there were 10-15 people standing outside of our room ‘scream talking’ at one another til well after[... read more] 2am. We asked them if they could move or please keep it down, but it didn’t stop. Due to the proximity to Kanaloa Bar - on the 4th floor, this happened again on our last night. Definitely don’t accept 6401 as your room if you like sleep!
The pools were freezing. Apparently they don’t heat the infinity pools or the main pool, so not many people were using them. We went in a couple times, and it was definitely neat to see it when you looked out- but ultimately, they were always in the shade and mostly too cold to use.
As I mentioned before, the room was large, modern and clean. They had nice robes and spa quality toiletries. The first day, there were plenty of towels- however, they seemed to dwindle as the week went on. I had mentioned to my concierge that I liked Coors Light over the other beers in the mini bar and I came in each day to find it stocked.
Something odd about the resort- housekeeping comes in once a day- at an approximate time that you tell your concierge. Later in the day, the bar/snack person comes in to fill your mini bar. Later, a towel person comes into the room... and lastly, someone came in 2 days to do turn down... but only 2 of 7. Due to all the different staff coming & going, it was really difficult to siesta!
Beach: There really isn’t one. Infinity has one spot you can wade in and that’s nice... The rest of the frontage is behind a wall and is a Reef. They’ve done their best and added sand and chairs along it and it’s still lovely... but if you’re looking for a beautiful beach, you won’t find it here.
Sensimar has a larger beach which is very busy. There are very few chairs because it is so busy. It’s also very far from Infinity- you can take a shuttle, but you’d better not forget anything or it’s kind of an ordeal...
Food:
There is only 1 restaurant on the Infinity side and it is only open for lunch. There’s a fantastic steakhouse/grill upstairs and a pretty underwhelming buffet downstairs (under the main pool, which is neat, but the selection was very poor and nearly no one was in there- ever). Other than that and the aforementioned Kanaloa Bar (which was the only ‘nightlife’). There is a Starbucks in the shop on the 1st floor- but it is extra $.
To eat, we had to go to the Sensimar side or the ‘Main Lobby Building’. It is not that far to Sensimar where there is
- The Gourmet Pub (excellent Calamari!)
- Culinarium Restaurant (try the cajun chicken- it is NOT what you’d expect, but IS amazing)
- Mia Casa (Italian- did not attend that location)
- Mexican You need a reservation (see your concierge)- Excellent food, fantastic drinks and amazing service- bring an appetite!
-Guacamayas Bar - A bar with swings & snacks. Nightly entertainment here and a super fantastic vibe. Everyone seems to flock here after 9pm, so seating was tricky... but there’s
dancing!
BeachBBQ was closed the whole week, so we didn’t get to eat there.
There is a quick serve restaurant The Sandwicherie & a buffet but we did not go to them.
Main building-
Seaside Market Buffet- Only breakfast option. Very small selection- the Egg station cool was excellent. Often things were left empty or running low... and not very hot.
Never attended a lunch buffet. One dinner buffet was very disappointing. Stuck to A La Cartes after that.
Asian Restaurant- Need a reservation, but it was fantastic! Delicious food. Thai, Japanese & sushi. The sushi was great. The pad thai and curry was also pretty fantastic. The service was impeccable.
Mia Casa- Italian. Super cute ‘Village in Italy’ streetscape style decor. Awesome food & fantastic service. Loved the addition of the dessert cart.
Each night there was some sort of live music and an Aperol Spritz branded bar at the Main Plaza at Sensimar which we really enjoyed as a chill after dinner drink before heading to Guacamayas or to the show.
Entertainment was lacking. We saw a Fire & Lights show - which was great & a Circus Show which was also pretty great... but that was it.
They had ‘entertainment’ at Kanaloa bar but it was Karaoke- no one sang.. and a band, that was decent, but literally took 7-10 mins between songs... and every song was a ballad - on Rock night... I went to bed.
The Naay Spa was lovely, but if you wanted to do the hydrotherapy or ‘water journey’ as they call it, you have to pay $27-35 USD unless you bargain for it included in your spa treatment. Unlike other luxury all inclusives I have been to which allow you unlimited access to it.
We were approached on the beach by a spa employee who wouldn’t really take no for an answer... I knew I wanted a massage, but the prices were quite high $200+ USD per person, I hadn’t quite decided. He kept offering different deals and we ended up with 2-4-1 plus water journey for free. By that time, why not! haha...
I had the Kukulkan Massage which was a combination of several techniques & very enjoyable.
Several times throughout the week, the same guy approached us. Even our last 2 hours at the resort, they were still trying to talk us into ‘one for the road’. That was a little much.
The staff are lovely and everyone is friendly. One of the guys at the Seaside Market even seems to remember everyones names - day after day. It is really the staff that makes the resort more appealing.
There were definitely pros... and a few cons about the resort. I would consider going again, but feel that at the price point, I’d probably go somewhere else. I just found many things to be lacking ‘something’.

Azul Beach Resort Negril: Incredible Resort ðŸ‘
This resort was able to manifest and maintain the laid back, celebratory Jamaican Vibe in every aspect of our day.
The grounds, the restaurants, the bars, the pools were amazing!!
The food tasty and plentiful
But the 2 highlights of this resort were the Beach and the Staff! Never have I felt so welcomed at a resort ! Upon arrival our Bell Boy greeted us with, "welcome home ". and for our entire vacation all staff members worked tirelessly to make Us feel at home.
Our every need was anticip[... read more]ated and provided with grace and a lot of fun.
The beach was 7 miles of beautiful white sand and crystal clear waters. We never experienced any crowding or the lack of chairs
We can't wait to go back!!!

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Great relaxing place!
The Tui Sensimar part of the resort is in pristine condition. The food is very good and consistent especially the a la carte restaurants. We were here last year and the beaches are even cleaner. The 13 bars are filled with top shelf alcohol and the bartenders love mixing drinks that are not diluted. The service is superb. The staff always have a smile whether you tip or not. The weather was perfect. We gave a 4 for food because all the meats at our Sunset Dinner at the BBQ outdoor restaurant w[... read more]ere well done...even the beef tenderloin!

Selection Riviera Cancun: Excellent Resort!
We stayed at this beautiful resort during the last week of February 2020. Overall it was a wonderful and very pleasant experience. Eating at the Spoon Restaurant was a real treat! The food and variety were great. Staff at the Spoon were very welcoming and very friendly. Special mention for Jose Luis Cahuich - very pleasant, prompt and courteous! A la Carte dinners were special. Rooms were very tidy and housekeeping staff were very dutiful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Concierges we[... read more]re very strategically located and easy to access. Concierge staff were most eager to help and were very well informed. Beach was very clean and beach staff were very helpful. Ground at the resort looked very beautiful and it was easy to get from one place to another. The nightly entertainment was excellent too. Looking forward to my next visit to this resort again!

El Dorado Seaside Suites: enjoyable resort
I would rate this complex very high but with one major fault. The beach sand area is perfect but one can't enjoy the water. 80% of the water area is covered in sharp jagged rocks. An area sectioned off for swimming isn't very deep and after walking out 200 yards the water level is about 2 feet deep and still has rocky areas.

Sensatori Resort Punta Cana: Great Resort, Disappointing accommodations
The beach here is excellent: walk miles in both directions, clear water and waves that can be fun to swim in. The restaurants are excellent. Evening dining requires reservations. Breakfast and lunch are all buffet options - some adults only locations as the resort shares the property with Nickelodeon.
Our disappointment was our room. We booked a Luxury Swim Up, but due to renovations there were no swim up rooms available. We sent an email and spoke with the Air Transat rep at the location [... read more]and there was lots of ‘ask them/ contact so and so’ but nothing they could do....hopefully some form of refund will be forthcoming.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Karisma is the best
We have been to Eldorado Sensimar suites many times and this time did not fail to meet our expectations yet again. The grounds are amazingly well kept and clean. The Bali beds are plentiful and as long as you don’t want a particular spot you can usually get one without getting up at the crack of dawn. The only thing I did see this time was staff putting towels down and reserving them for people early. That’s new I haven’t seen that in the past. The beach loungers are tired but I understand[... read more] they are working on replacing them. We love going to the Palms side as it’s charming and quaint. If you prefer newer then opt to stay in premium section or over on the Seaside suites side.
The food seemed better than usual. We eat early so getting a table wasn’t hard other than the one night we decided to eat later and couldnt get in anywhere except the former pub.
We have always been lucky with having an amazing concierge but this time there was a new one and we was not as helpful or accommodating. We did request that my son and daughter in laws room be decorated for her birthday celebration and it got done after the second reminder.
Our flight down was delayed by 8.75 hours and so we missed our entire first day at the resort and scrambled to have our private transport times adjusted after numerous delays for our flight. I felt like Trip Central was not caring in this regard as our only response was “ we have no control over delaysâ€. We spoke with travel agents on our flight who were very helpful and gave us information regarding compensation and told us that they even submit the claims for their clients. We called the help line for trip central and were told someone would contact us in 24 hours but nobody contacted us.
Over all the resort is amazing and we highly recommend it especially for couples. They are not great accommodating groups of 4 or more in the restaurants without reservations but we went to the bar to have a drink and wait so for us we didn’t mind.

El Dorado Royale: Beautiful Resort
We loved this resort, the grounds are amazing and loved all the pools and water everywhere. The only disappointment was all the uncharges, I had a massage that was great, but after paying double what I would pay at home they scented massage oil was an uncharge... should have been included. This happened in all areas, food and drink etc.
Azul Beach Resort is the perfect resort get away. We had an amazing time with a group of 10 friends and cannot say enough about the atmosphere, rooms, food and service. It all exceeded our expectations and I would absolutely consider going back to this resort again.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Great Resort that can be amazing
So many good things to say about rooms and facilities and events that all added up to a fantastic getaway. In absence of a litany of small service glitches bI would call this perfect. eg the concierge suggested we pick a time for our room cleaning which we did but then it was never done within 3 hours of that time. Dinner serving staff (though all friendly) varied widely in their serving skills. These were less concerning than surprising given the service from all other staff. El Dorado Maroma: Perfect vacation Place for Us
Spent a week In February 2020, and it was one of the very most enjoyable all inclusive resorts we have been to.
Service and food were great and we could not believe how beautiful the beach was. If you like quiet, peaceful , serene 5 star vacations, this might be the place to go. Mind you , there are no elevators, and not a lot of night activities. Having said that it is truly amazing what this resort would do to keep you happy. I was blown away with the effort they made to provide us with food[... read more] and big screens on the beach for the super bowl party. When my friends saw the pictures they thought we were in Miami. Great resort . Will be back for sure.
And thanks to Renee and Andres from Eldorado Maroma and very special thanks to Tanya from TripCentral. She is an amazing travel agent.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Decent Vacation
The hotel was very nice. Rooms were clean and updated, we stayed at The Seaside Suites section. Food was decent, staff were friendly and went above and beyond to try and make our stay special. I was really impressed with the staff. My one major criticism is the evenings, there is no real comfortable lounge/ common area where you can enjoy a drink or two and entertainment in the evening hours after dinner. We found ourselves going to bed early every night as there was no where really to hang out [... read more]and relax. They did have shows certain nights, but they were always in different places and accompanied by wooden chairs, often not enough for everyone watching, and definitely not a comfortable relaxing environment. This would be the one major improvement they need to make having stayed at many all inclusive resorts. Pools were clean, and overall the facilities were great.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Paper thin walls
The grounds are nice and tropical. I do not recommend staying in the infinity building. The views were beautiful but you can here everything, your neighbour s tv, talking, walking in the hall ways. You hear everything. The floors in your room were always wet due to condensation. The swim up pool was too cold, so we never used it. I. recommend to stay on the palm side, the only down fall is that it’s hard to get chairs or Bali beds unless you want to get up at 6am. A lot better on the infinity[... read more] side. The bars seems to serve you there knock off liquor. So hard to get Kailua at the bars. Don’t understand why they would not stock Kailua since that’s were it’s mad in Mexico. The main pool bar poured there knock off coffee liqueur in the kailua bottle thinking we wouldn’t know the difference because we asked for it everyday. We were so tried looking for it, we went into town and bought our own Kailua. There was 3 bartenders that were awesome they would go search for it. Nigel Sanchez, Jose Angel & Victor Manual Ucan. Melissa, head waiter in the Mexican bar did her best to accommodate us. We found her to be head and shoulders above any other Maitred’’s. The entertainment in the day was terrible. We did enjoy the food, no complaints there. We did not have a bad meal in any of the restaurants.

El Dorado Maroma: Pure heaven
If you want a quiet, relaxing, intimate vacation with gourmet food and amazing service and people then this is your place! We just returned from a week here and definitely our fave resort ever visited. We’ve been multiple times to excellence resorts in Mexico and Dominican which are 5 stars and we like this resort by far. It’s boutique but has everything you need and more. THe beach is the best ever and because it has a man made island out from the shore the waters are calm and warm for swim[... read more]ming. Several restaurants to choose from with gourmet foods. You can reserve a spot if you want but not necessary if you go before 7pm. Amazing nightly entertainment like magician, reggae and fire show on the beach etc. The people go out of their way to make you happy and feel pampered. Grounds are impeccably kept and rooms are spacious and modern. Can’t wait to return!

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Beautiful Resort to Celebrate Our Honeymoon
My husband and I traveled to El Dorado Seaside Suites to celebrate our honeymoon in early January 2020. For the most part, I would say it was fantastic and we cannot wait to return.
- The facilities and resort grounds are kept up impeccably. There's so many people working tirelessly to ensure that everything looks beautiful and it certainly pays off. You will go there and feel like you are in paradise!
- They have lots of food options and for the most part it does not disappoint. The only neg[... read more]ative experience that we had was at the Gourmet Pub. Not sure if it was an off night but both the ribs and steak were extremely over cooked. Other than that there is tons of variety and the staff is extremely attentive to dietary restrictions
- The pools are wonderful and they provide lots of options for relaxing around the water. We never had an issues finding a place to put our towels and enjoy some reading
- The beach is a bit disappointing... They block off the water (probably for safety purposes, so that is appreciated) but you can really only go "swimming" at a wading level. Plus it's not the best beach to walk up and down (lots of rocks and the sand isn't soft). This isn't a break or break for us but it could be for some people
- Concierge adds a nice touch to your stay but I would say some are more attentive than others to their guests
- AMAZING entertainment. No matter what there's always something going on and it is really great quality
Thank you so much to all of the people that work so hard at the resort for their guests! You truly gave us a wonderful time and we are very grateful.
