Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa: Nice resort

Nice hotel. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. No musty smell. Grounds are well kept. Lots of pools. It wasn’t very busy when we were there. We were a group of 11 and got chairs together every day (week of Nov 18-25). Keep this in mind when reading the rest of my review. I would estimate it to be under 30% capacity. Unfortunatel [... read more]y they made our Zen reservation half an hour past the start of the show, so when we arrived at first they said sorry, you missed it. Again, a conversation and proof it was their error led us right to our place at the grill. We did go on to make reservations while at the resort for the rest of the week and one night we had our own room at Calypso which was great. The Hunter Steakhouse also did an amazing job of decorating their separate room for our two birthday guests. They really did a great job! We did a tour through the hotel…a speedboat to the mud baths, snorkelling, lunch, bat cave, falls. It was really fun! The food was good and again no lineups since it was pretty quiet. Only one day was the buffet busy but that was a “day pass” day so there were more guests than normal there. The beach was beautiful. Our only complaint..and it was from our entire group….the buffet staff are lacking. Every morning we were tracking them down for cutlery, water, coffee. And when you do, the ladies generally are a little indignant. They just don’t seem very happy. Also, the Martini Bar is grossly understaffed. At cocktail hour, we often waited 20 minutes at the bar just to get a drink. It was the same throughout the evening. They have no idea who is next, so guests need to manage that piece. Most were good to wait their turn but there’s always that one entitled couple or young girl. The pool bars were the same with often one bartender working both the wet and dry side of the bar. If we compare to Mexico, those folks are always happy, happy to serve you, and literally run to please and serve you. Not here…everyone is in slo-mo. Each bar makes drinks differently too. We were in the regular area and wondered if the Hideaway and Diamond Club had the same experience. We talked with a few other couples who were there and they said other than their butler, it was the same for them. Aside from the hotel experience itself , the bus ride from the airport to the resort is two hours of twists and turns and traffic. The airport is nice and small, well run and very easy to navigate through the process.

Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa: Wonderful time !

This is a beautifully kept resort, very clean and constantly maintained. Our food experiences were all good but reservations are a must for à la carte restaurants. They are developing some good nightly entertainment too which we enjoyed. The only complaint would be that they seemed to be a bit short staffed and some staff were not that friendly mainly the bartenders at the pool bars. Not very social and not many happy smiling faces

Royalton CHIC Antigua: Great resort

After seeing many mixed reviews, we nervously booked this resort. I’m glad we did! The beach and pools were great. The food was good. For the most part the staff was friendly. We upgraded to diamond club for the room location (beach front), what a view! Pescari restaurant was amazing.

Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: This was an average royalton hotel

The food on the result did not meet the other standards of the royalty hotal The service was awful on the beach.If you were a young girl of any origin, you were served in order for me to get served.I had to call them over.

Royalton Saint Lucia Resort and Spa: Beautiful Resort

Royalton Saint Lucia Resort is a beautiful property—well maintained with clean rooms, stunning beach, and amazing pools. For the best ocean views, building #5 is highly recommended. Dining is convenient, as restaurant reservations can be made in advance through the app. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall experience. The only drawback is the airport transfer, which takes about an hour and half to two hours each way.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Good resort

Very clean and well maintained. Food was average, difficult to book reservations for restaurants but only because we were a bigger group. Not many activities for kids other than the pools. Beach was excellent.

Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: Great resort but has so much more potential

Loved the beach and setup. If you want to relax with great views and people this is your place restaurants were good but the buffet could use some help with more selection but good. Very clean and staff were great not sure it’s worth upgrading for the price

Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: Great Place To Relax

Hotel was quiet and location was amazing. Close to town to do shopping but far enough away to not be bothered by anyone. Local vendors were respectful and very accomodating. Lots of day trip options and beach activities available on site. Food was good but could only book two days in advance and time slots were limited. Staff were great and would definitely visit again.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Amazing resort but a lot of walking

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hotel was very clean and the grounds were kept very clean. Staff were nice and friendly. We were in building 11 with a swim out so we didn’t get much sun until 2 in the afternoon. Beach is absolutely gorgeous and the pool and beach chairs are one of the best I’ve ever had at any resort. We did all the la carts except for ocean because we’re not big seafood eaters and they were all excellent, food at the buffet was great too.

no complaints, beautifully maintained resort. entertainment continued even with the rainy weather. Resort certainly doesnt want to dissapoint their guests. Diamond club is well worth it. Nicest resort Ive ever been to so far.

Royalton CHIC Cancun: Well maintenant resort

Beautiful resort but the only problem was they need money in every single for the night party at the resort u have to chairs and bottle to watch the party and also every single alcohol shot u have to buy

Royalton Antigua Resort and Spa: JUST OK!

First off our WestJet flight was delayed, then when we arrived there was no bus to take us to the resort. The WestJet team was VERY unorganized! Finally after waiting and complaining for an hour with a little baby, a random airport bus driver told us to come with her and took us to our resort. She definitely saved the day! I’ve been to 4 other Royalton resorts and this one by far is the smallest. It’s definitely a family resort, would not recommend it for singles looking to party! The vibe team was mostly non existent; which was disappointing. They also promised to decorate my daughter’s room that did not happen, even though I provided my own decorations. Stating they were short staffed! Beach and food were great, drinks ok. But most staff (not all) were rude and seemed like they didn’t like their job! Would rate this resort a 6. Would return to Antigua just not Royalton.

Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun: Did Not Disappoint

The Royalton Splash was a great resort. The check in was not, 2 hrs, to many buses not enough staff. Rooms are beautiful, view was great!. Lots of options for food, from ala carts to food trucks, to pizzeria, buffet. The buffet was great for breakfast, not so good for lunch or dinner. Sports bar was awesome, food and snacks good and atmosphere for Jays Game amazing. Pools and drinks were good. A lot of pools to choose from. We did put towels on chairs in morning as there wasn't much shade and we [... read more] wanted umbrellas, still had to keep moving for shade. The beach is not the best, sargassum, but was cleaned daily. Beach nice for walking, water not for swimming. Over all we had a great time, I would definitely recommend for families with children. Off season I think for adults is the best time. The staff were amazing on all accounts. Humberto at the sports bar was amazing, Carmilla at the Chill pool bar, and Armondo at Zen all to be commended on their service. Lots more servers to that I never got their names.

There are 3 pools, all perfectly maintained, lots of comfortable lounge chairs, lots of clean towels. Beach was clean, lots of chairs. Also, there was no smoking at the beach nor at the pools, this was very much appreciated! Service in the restaurants was good. The bar closest to the entrance to the lobby had the best service, morning till evening. Sometimes service in the Buffett was slow. Japanese was great, the cook put on an excellent show, food was excellent, great décor. Our room was cleaned very well daily. On arrival, one of the drawers fell out and the other 3 were very difficult to open. I told the concierge who came to our room and took pictures, said she would report that repairs were needed. We were there for 7 days, the drawers never got fixed, disappointed. The Royalton Bavaro was excellent value. The location was good.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Great Resort!

The grounds of the resort are beautiful the landscape is the perfect tropical escape. The staff are incredibly friendly and made our stay perfect. Thank you to Yaniris for the perfect setup for my proposal to my now Fiancée. The Food is average as I’ve found this at all Dominican Resorts I have visited. Drinks are incredible. The Lazy River is wonderful and lots for the kiddos to do was plenty of activities to stay busy with our family we look forward to returning again.

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Such a wonderful resort!

The grounds, room and service was amazing! We really enjoyed our stay! The people were so helpful! The entertainment was good as well! But the best of all was the beach! Amazing! The lobby bar was excellent. Definitely will return! We had so much fun!

Royalton Blue Waters: Mediocre Resort

The beach is beautiful. However, the food is not great and the resort needs renovations. It did not feel luxury or 4 star in any way. Additionally, we were diamond club members and other than the private spot at the beach we did not receive any other perks.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Memorable stay at Royalron Bavaro

My stay at the Royalton Bavaro was excellent from the first minute. We arrived at the hotel and the check in was seamless. We were able to be close to our family friends and immediately, we went for our breakfast and the vacation started. The rooms were great, food and drinks were everywhere and the service was great. Our butler, Manuel Delacruz made our stay memorable as he went above and beyond our expectations without hesitation. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: 2nd time visit

I loved everything the 1st time that is why we returned.The rooms, pools and beach are great.The staff are really friendly especially the entertainment team and the butlers, very helpful.I would prefer it not to have Diamond Club,it is not needed and only makes returnees annoyed.There are only 122 rooms , I think larger hotels need a special club but not here. We may return, not sure.

Royalton Grenada Resort and Spa: Beautiful property

We came with another couple to celebrate my 60th birthday. We had a beautiful room with the view of the ocean. We had Diamond club and was so worth it. The only downside to the room was there was absolutely no water pressure in the shower. There were no upgraded amenities. We had booked diamond club too.We ended up getting some amenities after a couple days talking to our butler. Speaking of our butler, we had Casey and Jermisha. Casey is such a wonderful person and she was so good to my husband and I she is definitely an asset to your resort. Only thing is I felt bad for the butlers here it is 90+ degrees and these poor women and men are catering to everybody at the resort with long sleeves on a vest and long pants. I really think their uniform should be short sleeves, and nice pair of walking shorts. It’s just too hot to be wearing all them clothes. I felt so sad for them and they work hard. Now about the food, we were very disappointed. The only restaurant we liked was the French the other two we did not. We knew going in that there was only three à la carte restaurants. I hate eating at a buffet, but at least with diamond club you could have an à la carte breakfast, which was great. We enjoyed eating at nibbles and the server that we had for breakfast and at nibbles Devon he was great. We really enjoyed him serving us. The other thing we were a little bit, disappointed about was neither one of our butlers had reserved an à la carte restaurant on our first night so we had no choice to go to the buffet. We’ve had butlers before in other resorts we’ve gone to, and they usually have your à la carte restaurant booked for you the first night so that was a little bit disappointing as I hate buffets. Overall, we had a great vacation not sure if we would come back to this hotel just because of the food choices as there isn’t very many, but the staff were very friendly and of course Casey are Butler she was the best. we had wonderful weather sunny every day and hot. We did find that it was a little bit overpriced for what we paid and got but it is situated in a beautiful location..
