Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: great family vacation

The resort was beautiful, the people were so friendly and amazing, the pool and beaches were great, food was good as well. But because the beds were so brutal I would not recommended this hotel. The beds were extremely hard and I felt bruised from sleeping on them, I didn't sleep well the whole week.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Lovely

All was lovely except staff were unfriendly, and the sand fleas were bad. Room was great, food was good, the resort was beautiful. The room was clean. Overall, a lovely place to visit. Wish the staff spoke English, very hard to communicate.

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: It was a good vacation

Overall rating for me would be 3 out of 5 stars. The rooms are dated as alot of older hotels are but it really needed a really good cleaning and some repairs. The toilet was terrible :( I emailed the hotel before going with our room request but they emailed me back for more information but it seems never received my reply and never made a attempt when I got there to contact us. The fruit drinks were ok, and the smoothies in the morning were very good. Had to get up early for a cabana on the beach to put your towel down. Not enough cabana's, could use alot more. Too hot around the pool and too much noise, but good for the younger age folks.

Occidental Caribe: Fantastic Resor

We just love this resort. This is our second time at this resort. The people are fantastic . Mini Mi, Papa Juan,Carlos,Sonia and Happy Face are incredible people. They really make the resort. They are a must to stay at the resort!!!!! Enoc in the buffet was such a great kid too. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. Can't wait to go back and see all our friends. :)

Catalonia Bayahibe: Catalonia Dominicus

For an older resort it is very well maintained and a lot of the rooms have been remodeled . They are always cleaning and fixing from the lobby right to the beach. You could not say enough about the staff, every one of them will say hello and they are always willing to help or find someone that can. The food is very good for an all inclusive resort. The a la carts are quite good and not needing a reservation is a big plus that many other resorts don't have. We would show up at between 7pm and 8pm [... read more] and would not have to wait and we went almost every night in our 14 night stay. There are a lot of activities going on both at the beach and the pool and often at the same time so there was always something to do if you have to keep busy. The beach is beautiful , there are palm trees everywhere so you really don't need a hut. If you want one you need to get up early . There is a man made reef just off shore so the water is always calm and you can snorkel all day long . There are many kinds of fish along the reef just bring a banana and you will see more than enough.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Beautiful resort

We had a very good overall experience. When we arrived at Esmeralda we were immediately upgraded to Ambar. The food was excellent. There was a theme night every night at the buffet. Dinner on Easter there was so much chocolate, yum. The staff are fantastic, pool and beach very nice. This was a very clean resort. The only negative was that you had to get up at 6:00 to reserve a chair at the pool or beach which I said I would never do but here you had to.

Grand Palladium Palace: Great resort, property, food, staff and weather,

Buffets were amazing as were the a la carte restaurants. I am disabled and the staff was respectful and very accommodating. The rooms, as well as the grounds were kept very clean. Nightly entertainment in the various hotel lobbies was very good. The wifi throughout the property was good most of the time. Flight and transfer logistics all went smoothly. We were very pleased with this vacation.

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Awesome Resort

This resort was everything we expected. Close to airport. Very Clean, Easy to get Around, Friendly & Helpful Staff. Food was good. Didn't need to "save" chairs each at the beach each morning - beach is clean and raked. Entertainment was the best we have seen in Caribbean - Very Good. Didn't use pool. DID not have people with hands out for tips although tipping is appreciated.

Wyndham Alltra Samana: Poor Food

Resort was good over all, food was not good. i would not go again at this resort, but for the money I paid was definitely worth it. I have been to Dominican 3 times before and I so far I like la Romana the a best. Hope this advise helps.

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: relaxing vacation at the melia Caribe

This is our second trip to the Melia. first time we stayed in the adults only royal service section this time we opted for the elegance club. Our next trip we will return to the Royal service as we found the pool and the exclusive restaurants for the adults only section well worth the upgrade. The restaurants offer excellent choice, however they removed the reservation process which tended to make the wait longer to get into the restaurants. We golfed at cocatel 4 times during the week with green fees covered as part of the elegance package however the cart charge at $65.00 US a person ($154.00 CDN a couple) was an increase over our first trip and as a result not impressed with the cart charge, however the golf course is in great shape and we had no wait to tee off. My wife and I finished a round in 2 hours and 45 minutes which we enjoyed. Our tripcentral experience was excellent the service and clear instructions from our agent took all the worries away in regards to the flights and hotel.

Emotions by Hodelpa Puerto Plata: beautiful beach

This resort is being renovated, so far everything is just so looking very good. Such a friendly staff and the most gorgeous beach. The sand is so fine and the beach so very clean. There is great entertainment every night. all the staff are implicated. I am thinking about returning again next year.

The beach and water were gorgeous, staff were very friendly and rooms were good. The food was overlooked most times but better to be safe than sorry. We were always greeted with a smile and every where we went we met strangers that quickly became friends.

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: a nice resort

we booked a superior room when we arrived they over booked they upgraded us to a suite which was great. The food was very good the only thing is when the say dress code they mean long pants first hotel we ever went to that didn't allow long dress short. pools were crowded a kids in the swim up bar. Nightly entertainment was poor Over all hotel to big for us but a good time

Paradise Playa Dorada: very good resort

The beach and foods is very good,the only thing bother me is too many smokers around the pools and the beach chairs, i fully understood there is no rules that banning peoples from smoking around the pools and the beach chair , without the smokers I would rate the beach and pools 4 1/2 stars in my opinion.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Unbelievable Resort

Amazing food, grounds, beach, pool and staff. This was our honeymoon trip that has been on hold for 10 years........it was the best chance for my wife and i to reconnect and enjoy the sun, sand and surf.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: OK Resort (not a relaxing resort)

This resort is extremely large and very busy. The number of pools and long beach are insufficient to accommodate the number of people when the resort is at capacity. Lounging chairs were hard to come by and finding shade was practically impossible; unless, you got up at 0700 AM to reserve the lounging chairs that had shade. The food was ok, though quality protein was non-existent. There were line-ups to enter the buffet restaurant at supper time, which was annoying. Wyndham Alltra Samana: PARADISE

Grand paradise Samana is a lovely relaxing spot to unwind and relax. The staff at this resort are simply amazing always pleasant and nothing is ever too much.I cannot wait to go back.Booking with Trip Central was easy and efficient will definately use them again for my next vacation

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Great hotel!

Great beach, well kept grounds in keeping with the natural look. As with all resorts, it was always difficult together loungers and pools but there were areas to sunbathe at then pool and lots of trees on the beach. Food was very good.

Whala Bavaro: would not return

Customer service Roberto and Jose very helpful and efficient Grounds clean and need .Room Maids very hard working. Buffet average. Coffee the was the worst we ever had in any Bavaro Resort we will not return to this Resort

Rms were clean. Minor issues which go resolved. Got our exercise with all the levels. Lots of staff. Beach was not long but you still could manage a walk... Had a nice time ..... Very relaxing and laid back
