Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Nice Resort to commune with nature with lots of animals and green spaces

We enjoyed out vacation , 2 adults and 2 children. There are several cenotes but only 1 you are allowed to swim in, and it has to be with life jackets during the open hours. They really could use a couple more pools. The main pool was a little cloudy and very hot. Tortuga pool was very clean and had some shaded areas so is the best choice. The only a la carte restaurant we liked was the brazillian one. That was great but the others were just OK. Maybe the chef was having a bad day, but we didnt really enjoy the other restaurants we tried. The buffet is open very long hours , and the taco/pizza place in the center, el nido is open long hours as well so no realy trouble getting food at any time. The beach was great. we were there during the seaweed rotting season, mid july... Normally the beackes here would be a disaster with rotting seaweed but they made a breakwater of stones that blocked most of it and they cleaned it every morning. We used it many days and it was great. nice temp, good sand and pretty clean water. The kids club is great if you have young ones. they did a great job. The resort shops have reasonable prices for most things.... In playa carmen you will pay more at 5th avenue. Maybe you can find better deals off the beaten path but we found the store in the resort was the most reasonable of any we saw. There are lots of animals around which we thought was great for us. we saw lots of monkeys, coati, racoons, and some other ones. Riding the segueways around the resort was fun and they are pretty cheap at 25$ for half hour. The staff there were great, friendly and helpful.

Grounds were exactly as we remembered them over 15 years ago, beautiful Service was good, best in the dining areas Entertainment service catered mostly to the younger crowd Disappointed they replaced the Spanish restaurant with an Asian one but overall was good Overall we had a very relaxing time and would definitely go back in the future

Riu Dunamar: Amazing resort for vacarion

Resort was very clean and well maintained by the management.. we really enjoyed riuland activities for kids.. pool and bar service was excellent.. we really enjoyed our stay at RIU dunamar. My family enjoyed the stay in the resort. We would like to consider RIU oroperties for our next vacation..staff was very helpful and friendly..

Haven Riviera Cancun: Overall good

the location is not the best, service was good and people are nice. problem was in July, seaweed takes over the beach so you cannot swim in the sea. One restaurant has dress code of shirt, leather shoes.

El Dorado Royale: Amazing Resort

All staff are very kind and the public area is well maintained. The hotel room was clean and nice, and the food was great. The pool was beautiful but sandy beach was just ok. It was inconvenient because the shuttle bus from the hotel to airport was delayed.

Secrets Tulum Resort and Beach Club: Amazing Resort

The hotel is fairly new with a jungle theme. It’s very beautiful however lots of walking to get to your room, lobby and restaurants. The food and room service is amazing, the rooms are clean and spacious. The staff are very friendly and polite. Each night there is entertainment to keep you entertained. Only problem is the beach is 15 minutes away from the hotel and lots of mosquitoes so bring a bug spray. Otherwise. I had a great time.

Riu Latino: Riu never disappoints

We loved the hotel, food was delicious and plenty, people were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and you can tell staff cares about it, bravo! The staff made us feel safe, comfortable and welcomed. We’ll definitely be back! My only suggestion, the laundry detergent that is used for the sheets smells very strong and I had issues sleeping because of it, looking for something with a softer scent or no scent would be better.

This hotel is amazing and we love out stay there. The staff are great, food was good and ambience is superb. We loved staying there, The room services was excellent. Can't complain at all. We had a super vaccation. Thanks to Trip central Wendy and team and the hotel staff.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Amazing for the price

When we arrived we thought maybe we had made a mistake. Building er were originally put in was a block from beach. First day changed rooms. By the end of vacation we rated it up there with some of the places previously stayed at near csncun. Great for kids. No undertow. Water was warm. Coral island had great visibility and variety of fish.

Riu Latino: Second timer!

Just came back on Saturday. This place has it all. The food is amazing. Four restaurants to choose from without needing to make reservations. The beach was amazing. Some seaweed but would always be cleaned and we swam in the ocean everyday. The pools are clean. The grounds are immaculately clean. Theres always entertainment or a party, but lots of quiet space for those who want quiet time. The only thing is that there's seperate music playing at the different pools and sometimes, it's a bit anno [... read more]ying to hear a mix of different music playing at one time. Can be noisy sometimes. If your room is around the stage, you won't be sleeping early. Excellent service. Epic time. I'd go back for a third time.

Grand Sunset Princess: Worse experience we've ever had

It's hard to find the words to describe the horrible experience we had. Our rooms were dirty and not even the rooms we booked. They also weren't togther the jacuzzi outside was not usable and disgusting. We also got covered in bed bug bites the first day. Has to find a doctor for cream. The room service just came and made the bed they didn't clean anything or change the sheets. The food trying to book a dinner was impossible the app didn't work and there was never any room. We had no clue for or travelling commute from the hotel to airport there was no notice or anything they didn't take us and we had to pay $125 US for a taxi to get to our flight. We were beyond disappointed especially with the money we spent extra to go this resort that was recommended to us. It was the worst place and experience we have ever had with an all inclusive.

I just wanted to share my disappointment regarding our recent stay at the hotel. Although I expected a high-end experience for the price we paid, one of the rooms we received upon arrival had visible mold on the wall (I have photos) and a strong moldy smell, which is clearly unhealthy. We requested to switch rooms immediately and ended up spending nearly two days dealing with this issue. One of the rooms was finally changed on the second day, but it significantly impacted our experience. However, the overall situation left us quite dissatisfied with our stay.

Barcelo Maya Tropical: Amazing resort!!!

beautiful property! great amenities! Food was awesome! Rooms were adequate. We are Seniors and would have very much appreciated shuttles to the pools buffets etc. But was managable! Only complaint and its a very small one-the pool water was way too warm and would have welcomed an infusion of cold water to the pool waters. was a bathtub! Beaches are beautiful and the staff at the Barcelo were so awesome!

Dreams Bahia Mita Surf and Spa: Ok

Hotel has construction happening next to the hotel. Lots of noise during the day and at night too. Buffet is ok. Lots of language barrier with waiters and staff. Limited restaurants and only cafes and most close at 5 till dinner.

This was my first trip back to Mexico in over 30 years and Riu Latino checked all the boxes. It’s a relatively new hotel and it shows. All the amenities from the lobby, to the restaurants, the five pool decks, multiple bars, the water park, lounge chairs, sun covers and our room, everywhere we looked we found this resort equipped with the latest and the greatest. The resort was always clean as the staff was constantly seen cleaning and polishing at every turn. Our maid service was superb, always on time and extremely thorough. The beach is the largest I’ve seen and although there was some sargassum evident, it was cleared away and the beach groomed every day. There were plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas at the beach as well as on the pool decks. There were lots of activities around the pool areas from aerobics to bean bag toss, water polo, volleyball, table tennis, beach soccer, bingo and more. Had lots of fun making use of the water park. The entertainment in the evening offered quite a variety from Las Vegas, to Mexican, various countries around the world, rock & roll, Michael Jackson and karaoke. Food in the restaurants was excellent including the complimentary house wines. The buffet restaurant offered a wide choice of cuisine from Mexican, to Chinese, Italian, Seafood, meats and salads of all kinds, vegan, and more. Great selection of fruits, baked deserts, and ice cream. There were four of us travelling, my wife, myself, my daughter and son in-law. My wife and I were celebrating a mile stone birthday and my daughter and son in-law their second wedding anniversary. As such the resort was kind enough to surprise us with two bottles of champagne to compliment our stay. I highly recommend this resort and we hope to go back soon.

Riu Dunamar: nice resort

The rooms are clean and are cleaned everyday. The buffets and restaurants are also clean. The waiters are friendly and often check up to see if you need anything else. The beach is nice and so are the 4 pools.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Incredible experience!

This is my second time at the Valentin. I was there about 15 years ago and the experience was even better than I remembered. The food and service were exceptional. Special thanks to Michelle, Adolfo and Oscar in the fine dining restaurants. Virginia and Amado were incredibly attentive as pool/bar staff. We couldn't have asked for a better stay, weather and atmosphere. The resort was only 40% full due to the time of the year and personally, I enjoyed the quieter environment.
