Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: Great deal but food was the worst I’ve had in Cuba :(

Everything was beautiful. From the rooms to the pools to the beach. Entertainment was Ok The only things I have to complain about is this resort is very far away from everything and the food was the worst I’ve had in Cuba. It’s about a 2 Hour Drive to the airport Not really any markets around or much to do unless you want to spend a ridiculous amount of money. ( over priced )

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Exactly what we were looking for in a quick beach getaway !!

We loved our ocean view room, the gorgeous white beach, very impressed with the exceptional service from the sweet staff, breakfast buffet was small but had some great items & a la cartes were terrific,

We visited in November 2019 and had a great vacation. Service was excellent, beaches were beautiful, room was spacious and clean. The food was ok; the selection was the poorest we have seen in Cuba ever, but the chefs did a great job with what they had.

Dhawa Cayo Santa Maria: Great Beach and staff!

This is a perfect resort for a balance of relaxation and activity. There is no or a nominal single supplemental so it’s great if you’re going alone as it attracts singles . It’s not a criticism but there are a lot of French speaking guests. It would be much easier to meet people if you speak French, but then a lot of thankfully speak English. It’s far from the town so if you go here you are going to a resort and there are few realistic options to venture and see Cuba. The entertainment [... read more] team keeps it lively and if you participate you’re going to meet people, which is what interests me. It’s not fancy at all in terms of the common area, rooms, bar food or any aspect. But it’s clean, comfortable and inexpensive. It would be nice if the airport wasn’t 1.75 hours away - but that’s how it is. Tripcentral staff was absolutely fabulous with this and my other bookings - is use them again too.

Melia Las Dunas: Great Resort

I love this hotel it is huge with an adult and family section. The staff are amazing and there are plenty of activities for all ages. The beach is clean and the water is amazing. Definitely will be returning to this hotel.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Had a good holiday at this resort

We recently got back from our 7 days of vacation at this resort. We enjoyed most of our time at the beach. My husband took part in dancing and beach volleyball with his friend. I enjoyed the special dance performance by the locals and the children playing musical instruments at the beach one afternoon. By the time we left, there was a lot of new shelters being built around the shoreline. I find that there are a lot of seashells which can hurt your feet when walking if you don't have water shoes [... read more] on at the beach close to the lobby, or it could be that I have sensitive feet lol. The room was spacious and the hotel grounds are always clean and kept well by the gardeners. Our maid made sure our room was clean and that we had enough towels and she also wrote sweet note for us the night before we left. I had brought a full suitcase of items to giveaway randomly to staff members along the way to share with others what I could. The food was okay I could always find something to eat at the buffet, beach restaurant or the snack bar. The service was great because when I had problems the hotel staff was able to help me in a timely manner. The waiters and waitresses in the restaurants were very helpful and attentive to our needs. I bought a headlight to use in the darker areas when I took those long walks to put our toddler to sleep. I had some mosquito bites but it wasn't so bad. Overall, it was a good trip for us and our two-and-a-half-year-old toddler and we became friends with another couple and their two boys which made our stay more memorable at this resort.

Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: Beautiful and relaxing

We had a great week away at this resort. You can tell that it was a bit run down but there was a lot of work already done during the week we were there! The previous owners let it go but the new owners seem to be doing good things! It has an amazing beach and great pools. There wasn't the best variety of food but the food was good! The snack bar had delicious pizza! All in all a great trip to Be Live Cayo Santa Maria.

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Fantastic Resort

We returned him from this resort Dec 13 it was a fantastic place for our family vacation. The grounds and hotel are kept in excellent shape. All the staff were fantastic from the groundskeepers to the hotel management. The etertainment team was exceptional. I will be visiting this resort again and Its highly recommended others do too. Memories Paraiso: non revenir

Ce hôtel n'est pas conforme. Les réparations de la chambre ne sont jamais réparées, même à 2 semaines. La douche fait une inondation, presque, et la télévision a brûlé. Les animateurs sont mauvais et ils n'ont pas du tout.

Valentin Perla Blanca: Fourth time visiting!! Dec 7-14 2019

My boyfriend and I traveled to Valentin for the first time in April 2018. Weve been back 3 more times since then! This hotel is BEAUTIFUL and the pools are gorgeous and clean! One side of the resort is considered the "quiet" side where there aren't many activities and no loud music. Beautiful relaxing pool on this side, with a great bartenders, Ariel and Yoel (also sometimes at the beach bar) The other side of the resort is considered the "party" side, where they do activities by the pool in the [... read more] afternoon and play music all day! It's a riot. So whether you're looking to go relax OR party, you can do either at this resort and that's why we love it. The party pool bartenders Amauri and Dunier are the BEST. They are honestly the reason my boyfriend and I return to this hotel, we have grown so close with them and consider them family. The staff at this hotel go above and beyond to make your vacation the best possible. Calixto in the buffet and Roli in the privilege lounge were also amazing and have become great friends. The beach at this resort is absolutely stunning.....if you're a beach bum, this hotel is 100% for you. The staff at the beach were obviously amazing too, Freddie and Daniel at the beach bar, amazing guys! The food has improved quite a bit since our last visits, some of the best food in Cuba! The worst thing I could say about this resort is that its almost a 2 hour ride from the airport. But lots of cold drinks on the bus! And you get to see the beautiful Cuban towns. We will be returning for a fifth time :)

Valentin Perla Blanca: Paradise found!

We have just returned from our 5th vacation at Valentin Perla Blanca ... we were married on the beach during our 3rd stay, and then returned with our adult children (27 &25, who also fell in love with this resort and want to return), and have spent the past 2 weeks for our anniversary. With the only natural sand beach remaining in Santa Maria after hurricane Irma, the beach is by far above the highest expectations! The à la carte restaurants have very appealing and tasty choices, and the buffet is vast with something for even the pickiest of eaters. The amazing entertainment crew shine with a barrage of activities throughout the day and night. By far, however, it is the staff at this resort that keep us coming back. Roc Lagunas del Mar: Amazing time

Beautiful resort. Friendly staff. Had an amazing time. We will be coming back once a year. Weather was nice. Drinks were cold. Food wasn't the best but it is Cuba, Beach was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking to visit Cuba! Looking forward to our next vacation!

Melia Buenavista: Gorgeous beach

I was at the Melia Buenavista for only four nights and wasn't able to take advantage of all its features, but I enjoyed my time there and especially appreciated the stunning ocean view from both my hotel room and the beach. The beach felt almost private at times -- I loved how clean and quiet it was. The staff was lovely, especially the butlers (Sergio and Joel), and I have no complaints about the service. My only negative feedback would be about the food, particularly the cooking of meat in [... read more] the restaurants (I had beef, pork and fish and all of them were served overcooked and dry). But I didn't come for the food, so my overall review of the hotel is positive. I could see myself returning in the future!

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Needs TLC

Nice staff and huge land . The resort is very big and spacious. The beach is very long, great for walks. There is very little algea. However, there is lots of garbage laying around , broken chairs along the whole beach . Nobody seems To be cleaning up. The rooms are simple and clean. The eating area is fine. The food selection is very simple and missing breakfast items. Bread was stale and fruit loops was only choice of cereal. Not good for adults or children. I am lactose intolerant  [... read more]and cannot eat gluten , and there were no other choices or substitute. At buffet, we had very similar choices for breakfast, lunch and supper. Lacked variety. À la carte restaurant were good. Ambiance was decent. Not too loud making it a quiet vacation. Be aware of deffective / demagnetized room cards. We had to go To reception 3 times To get new cards.

Dhawa Cayo Santa Maria: 2nd time and still fantastic

Dhawa Resort is truly amazing. I have to thank the following people, Jarod, Miquel Angel, both Carlos' (buffet and 24 hour snack bar), Rafael, Elisabet and finally Lachie (absolutely the best) were all so very beautiful, kind and loving employees who made sure my trip was extra special as I travelled solo and they ensured I had a great time. Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: Great resort Great price

The hotel is a large resort with nice beach and fantastic pool layout. Rooms are large and fairly comfortable. All the staff was fantastic Food was not bad a lot of variety but pretty much the same thing everyday. The specialty restaurants were pretty good also. if you are looking for a cheap getaway this one works. .

The resort was very nice!! Groundskeepers and cleaning staff were working hard every day keeping everything pristine. All the staff at the resort and the country of Cuba are very nice and friendly and will do anything to make your vacation the best experience you’ve ever had!! We had a wonderful time in Cuba and can’t wait to go again. The people of Cuba love Canadians to death and do whatever it takes for you to enjoy your stay in their country!! Valentin Perla Blanca: amazing beach!!!

Oceanfront hotel room was nice, room very clean and nice shampoo and body wash products. 1 beer 1 cola 1 water in fridge. Great morning coffee, food was good but limited. bus ride is 1.5 hours, customs was quick. all in all very good for the money.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Good place to stay!

Nice place! Good food, clean room and common areas. Building is showing some age but as long as its clean I am happy. Air conditioner in room smells moldy though. Loved staying at the sanctuary section.

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Super relaxing!

The food options were not the greatest, not much for people with intolerances and I got sick. They gave us keys that didn’t work three times in a row our first night. Other than those things but was a lovely peaceful stay.
