Grand Palladium Palace: very clean
Just returning from from the Grand Palladium. This resort is large, but well kept.the staff is very friendly, and helpful.my complaint about here is the restauants set up.I did not find this good at all. They say first come, but when arrive, did you reserve????If this is first come ,why did we need to reserve?Needs something done about that. Our room was good, cleaned everyday, downfall in the room, not a big one but a helpful one,TV channel guide would be nice.
Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Lovely and Relaxing
BeLive Punta Cana is a nice resort with plenty of activities if you are so inclined. I was not but really enjoyed the beach and the shade of palms and umbrellas. The food was quite good compared to other resorts I have stayed at. The basic room was very tired and a bit run down but VERY clean every day. My group did the zip line tour which was excellent. The free ride to Nicoles for shopping was a waste of time - don't bother. There is cheap souvenir shopping just outside the resort that in a gr [... read more]
The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Favourite Resort in Samana
I have been to the DR 7 times 4 of which to Samana and this resort is my absolute favourite. Breath taking views, very clean and fabulous meals and staff. I would recommend this resort. You will not be disappointed.
The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Beautiful resort!
The hotel is very well looked after. The grounds are neat and tidy and rooms are in good shape. The staff in the hotel bar, beach bar, restaurant and a la carte were superb! So much fun and provided great service. The housekeeping staff were exceptional, my room was always well stocked and clean. My only disappointment was that I believe the front desk staff tipped a local about me going into town to get some money. A person met me and my friend part way between the hotel and the bank and seemed [... read more]
Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: Awesome vacation spot.
Great resort with very friendly staff .Took grandkids and had a blast. The waterpark was special place for the kids while we sat back and enjoyed all .They were on slides and we were in the shade. The beach and the gigntic pool was spectacular. Will do again.
Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: Simply Amazing!
Everything about this vacation was perfect. The flight and their service (both ways, catered to my kids!) The resort was beautiful, the pool was huge and clean, the water park was soooo much fun and had no wait time at all, the food was diverse and delicious, room was huge and clean, and the service was superb! Would definitely recommend and go again :)
Riu Palace Punta Cana: From 4 1/2* to 3 1/2* resort
The Riu Palace is a very nice resort with a fantastic spanish architecture and decor. Our room was facing the pool side. It was very nice with just a tad of smell in our room which was very clean on a daily basis. Plenty of bottle of water, pops and beer in our fridge. The buffet food was very very repetitive. The pools are small (Easter crowd) and have started to show their wear and tear; as the resort. The Italian restaurant was excellent, Sushi were great at the Japanese restaurant but the se [... read more]
Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: AMAZING!!!
This was our first family vacation and we had an amazing time!! The hotel staff were excellent, the entertainment was incredible. There was always activities going on and fun to be had. Our 14 year old and 11 year old loved it so much, they want to go back next year. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great vacation!!
Wyndham Alltra Samana: Great value for money, Beautiful Surroundings
This was our 21st all-inclusive resort vacation, the 4th to the D.R., but the first to Samana. The gorgeous undeveloped jungle and mountainous terrain made this area our favourite in the D.R. by far. This was the first resort in the D.R. where we felt perfectly safe walking to town for half a day, and we did so twice. The resort itself is as we expected from reviews: - very average but clean rooms, the maid service was excellent, and everything worked. The room safes are an extra charge ($15 US [... read more]
Wyndham Alltra Samana: nice resort
everything was great just lacking lounge chairs should be more of them. The food was great the pools were great . the beach was awesome and the people that work there are amazing. And will definitely be going back.
Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Good food, beach and rooms
A very big resort with 5 resorts in one so you don't get bored easily. The buffet food is good (much better than I experienced in Cuba and Mexico). The a la cartes are hit and miss (favourites were the seafood (El Pescador) and Italian. The beach is nice but a little wavy on some days, great colour. This season there was a lot of seaweed (not gooey but like sticks) in the water and on the waterline. The staff picked it up every morning and you would have some accumulate into the late afternoon. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Fantastic Vacation
Quick trip from the airport, upon arriving and through the week the grounds were spotless and very well maintained. Three great pools to choose from, beautiful white sand beach...a little busy because there are multiple resorts in the area. The food range was diverse and of a very good quality. The staff were very friendly and more than happy to help with any requests. The room was current and well cleaned everyday, no problem sleeping late.
Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Superb
This was our second time at the resort. Our first time was not a good experience. However, we did not give up on the resort and went back this year and all was excellent. We will be returning to the resort next year.
Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Great resort
The junior suite was exactly as seen on their web site; very clean and perfect. There was a private Jacuzzi on the balcony for romantic evening sipping champagne in good company. All the a la carte restaurant were very good, especially the french restaurant La Comedie. there is a surcharge of $20.00 per person but it is really worth it for the excellent cuisine, ambiance and polished service. It has a very clean beach, no algae and no vendor. All in all a very nice resort offering real good valu [... read more]
Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: Good resort for price
We travelled from mar 30th – april 6th. This was our 1st time in the Dominican Rep. As per most of the reviews you get what you pay for! If you are looking for a cheap vacation of sunshine and relaxation and don’t sweat the little things this is a great resort. The only issue we had was not the fault of the resort but was loud obnoxious guests. The group across the hall for some reason liked to party in their room all night instead of partying outside. The rooms have hallways so the noise ec [... read more]
Blau Natura Park Resort: A Beautiful spot!
Overall I loved this place, the food was excellent, and abundant. Rooms were clean, comfortable and for the most part, well maintained. We were a group of 28 and some had some minor issues with their rooms (air conditioning not great, fridge didn't work etc..) but nothing trip killing. One complaint I had was that when we checked in, late at night, there was not sufficient staff to show us the way to our rooms, and in the dark, it was a bit difficult to find our way around.
Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: Disappointing
We arrived on March 28th (second time to this resort) and were escorted to our room. The room obviously needs to be renovated. The bathroom counter was falling off the wall. The first 2 nights there was no hot water as the locals were at the resort. The air conditioning had the knob taken off so you could not adjust the temperature in the room. It barely even worked. The toilet had a slow leak as the toilet would constantly fill throughout the night. The never notified us that they would be work [... read more]
Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Enjoyable Stay
Grounds were nice, food was good - buffet got a bit boring but the Restaurants ( we went to Mexican, Steakhouse, American and Italian) were all very good! Frandi - our waiter from Route 66 (american restaurant) left a lasting impression - as did all the staff from that restaurant.
Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: modern and sleek resort
Small resort with about 300 rooms. Great food and service. Food was fresh even at the buffet, many options cooked in front of you!!! Great music, breezy weather and hot hot. Pool staff, pool wait staff and all bar staff were amazing.
Be Live Experience Hamaca Suites: great vacation
all was great, uprated to ocean view which the 150 extra was worth it. food was OK too, but not great. nice weather and great ocean pool. they are using a wall to break the waves. the locals are nice, but if they ever leave you alone for a minute not trying to sell you stuff.
