Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Grand Bahia Principe - Wonderful resort!

The Grand Bahia Principe resort was beautiful! The resort has white sand beaches with plenty of lounges for everyone, warm clean pools, fantastic food and beverages. The staff were amazing, the rooms spotless and the entertainment was excellent. Our favourite A la Carte was Seafood.

Bel Air Collection Xpu-Ha Riviera Maya: Horrible Vacation

Our vacation to the Bel Air Xpu-Ha Collection Riviera Maya was horrible. When we arrived and got to our room there was a big salamander hiding in our curtains, there was a two inch gap underneath our door, nothing was sealed off and there were holes rotted out in our door. We had a plate of old fruit in our room that was not sealed properly and who knows how long was sitting there. After being there for two days we woke up in the morning and we had a thousand big ants coming in from under our do [... read more]or, climbing up to the counter and eating the fruit. When we came back to our room at the end of the day all that was done to the room was the bed had been made, they left all the ants there for us to deal with, they didn't even make an attempt to get rid of them. My girlfriend and i had to spend over a half hour after our long day getting rid of them ourselves. The third day after walking around in the morning we arrived back at our room to find a big lizard on the wall, it sat there til Thursday when we got back in the evening and noticed it was finally gone, even when the housekeepers saw it they shrieked and gave me the impression(since they didn't speak English) that not to worry about it, they will take care of it. For half of our seven day trip there the towels in our room were not even changed. The resort was old and looked to be that it was never really maintained very well. When we booked our trip it described three restaurants which were really only two, the one restaurant was half open for breakfast and lunch, then they would close that half and open the other half for supper, it was all the same bad food. We had the option of menu or buffet but the buffet was always skimpy on food, 1/3 of the trays would always be empty. The food on the menu wasn't very good either, my girlfriend got sick a couple times after eating the food in the restaurant. There was a sushi place as well but looking at the way the rest of the resort looked we weren't gonna trust eating the seafood. The kayaking spot that we saw on the website was always closed off so there was no kayaking at the resort like they advertised. They also advertised that there were all sorts of animals at the resort that we could look at but when we walked around most of the animal spots were empty and run down. There were a few crocodiles, 3 jungle cats that looked depressed and 2 monkeys that looked so miserable we couldn't even handle looking at them. The beach at the resort was barely even a beach at all, enough room for a few lounger chairs and you couldn't even go in the water. Anytime were sitting on the so called beach or by the pool there was not one waiter around to get a drink. There was a beach nearby that they would transport us to, the van was supposed to come by every half hour, we waited for over an hour once before the van came by again. Whenever we would hang out on the resort and just look to relax we would just be depressed and in a bad mood. Half of the staff i couldn't understand nor could they understand me. I do not know how its a 4 star resort, just being there didn't make it the nice relaxing trip to mexico it should've been. Our sunwing representative only showed up the one day. Our shuttle back to the airport was a joke, the driver couldn't speak English and no one must've told him were to drop us off so we got dropped off at the wrong terminal and we had to find our way to the proper terminal. we will never return to any of the Bel Air Collection resorts. It is a resort that we will not recommend to anyone and tell anyone going down there to stay clear of it.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Iberostar Punta Mita excellente.....

Everything is absolutely first class; walking distance from the Jr. Suites at the beach to Lobby and Restaurants / Entertmnt. i s rather long for older people like me. Food good, but better at the Japan. & Pacific Restaurants ! Entertainment fair only........

Ocean Maya Royale: Great Getaway

The hotel had a great layout. The pool was clean and the grounds were always being attended too. The staff always had a smile and willing to go the extra mile. A great effort was made for nightly entertainment. Overall the noise level was loud until midnight. Sound carried throughout the villas. There was always something to choose from on the daily buffets. The Japanese restaraunt was delish! As stated from other reviews, bring your own pillow was a good tip. Erosion has taken away almost al [... read more]l of the beach. If that is your 'thing' this is not the resort for you. It was great being an adults only, didn't miss the young ones at all.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Fantasic first time

Thank you Grand Bahia Principe Coba! You made our first time staying at an all inclusive fantastic! We have been cruising the Caribbean for the last few years. We had never stayed at an all inclusive what a place to stay the first time. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and bright and cheerful. Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Perfect Getaway for Family

Everything was clean and immaculate, staff were friendly, resources helpful in trip planning excursions - if you want to come to a resort where everything is taken care of Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda is the place. This is especially a great place for vegetarian diets - both me and my husband are vegetarians and everything food-wise was to our liking.

Secrets Huatulco: Very nice resort

Very clean,spacious resort in a beautiful area. We were happy with this place with the exception of getting some food poisoning at lunch on two occasions. Dinners at a l carte were great as was the staff at the resort. Pools were good but were quite a walk and elevator ride from our room on the top floor so we stayed there all day. Beach is a little rough for walking but ocean is great for snorkelling. We would return to this resort or the Dreams Resort down the road nearer to town. Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: good resort

This is a large resort,good opportunity for walking. Rooms are clean and serviced well. Grounds are well manicured. Having dinner and watch sunset is best of all. Transat flight takes 5 hours,one glass of water and a mint is little disappointing. I had a great vacation.

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Great Family Vacation

Stayed a week at this resort and was never bored. The variety of restaurants and activities gave many choices for everyone in my family-even my teenagers! Hotel, grounds and room were very clean and friendly workers everywhere. We will definitely be going back as well as recommending to friends for a family vacstion of romantic coue vacation! Loved it!

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Sprawling Beauty

Not a thing to complain about. The grounds are immaculate. The food in buffet & a LA carte's fresh and delicious. The only issue was there are no reservations at the a LA carte's unless you are an upgraded guest. Had to be at restaurant by 6 or would not get seated. The sea water pool was Spectacular. 4+ out of 5

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great resort, especially for families with children

Stayed for 10 days in November. Everything was great, especially amenities for children. Though the sea was rough most of the time, still enjoyed the beach. For swimming pool lovers, there are several nice pools on different levels... The staff is exceptionally helpful, hospitable and friendly. Tukan Hotel Playa Del Carmen: Overall Good.

Hotel location was both great and not so great. Great because is located in the middle of the action. Not so great because the music coming from the bars is very loud and finishes off until the wee hours. We had to request a change of rooms twice. They obliged, it was OK at the end.

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: One of the better 4* all inclusive resorts !

Excellent location if you are planning on staying on the resort or short trips to Sayulita or into Punta de Mita. About an hour by cab and $75 into PV. Resort is well laid out. Short walk to get anywhere and elevators for those that require. Beautiful long almost private beach. Constant bombardment all day long by the small village of vendors camped just beside the resort. Get used to saying "No gracias" all day or take long walks on the beach/play in the waves to avoid. Beach service is good a [... read more]nd small bar/restaurant at one end. Nice big deep pool with good swim up bar. Loved the rooftop lounge area for drinks anytime of day, especially at night. Food at all restaurants was good. Service here was very good from everyone. Grounds are immaculate. People always everywhere cleaning. Big theatre and decent talented people/costumes put on good shows. We love this area of Mexico and will return to this resort.

Grand Riviera Princess: Sunshine Paradise

The grounds ofhe Mexican Grand Riviera Princess are impressive with many walking paths lined with statuary symbolic of the culture. The lawns and many gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. The pools are very clean and designed to give maximum visual appeal as they are strategically placed throughout the site. The staff are courteous and eager to ensure the guests have an enjoyable, relaxing stay. Rooms are serviced on a daily basis and towels and linens are changed every day.

Friendly Fun Vallarta: Very nice resort

This resort would definitely be on the top of my list to use on my next trip to pv. The best food as far as all inclusive resorts I have ever been to and I have 22 others to compare my opinion on. Just the reg buffet and snack bar took away any reason for me to need the a la cart. The staff are on the ball respectfull pleasent and very helpfull But the only negative I can say about the resort is they are not very smoker friendly, I vape but it's treated just like smoking, so a small area in [... read more] the lawnchair area and out front of the hotel before the reception area and on your balcony. No other public areas so if you were partying by the pool and wanted a dart you had to go out of your way to do that. Again not the end of the world, but not the first resort to go this way and won't be the last. But otherwise definitely a very good expirience.

Selection Riviera Cancun: Fantastic resort!

Resort was exactly as described - swim-up room was great - food is fantastic! No reservations needed at most of the a la carte restaurants is a real plus - resort staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Excellence almost at its best

We have been travelling to different adult only, gourmet all inclusive resorts for 5 years We mainly have stayed around Playa Del Carmen or so. It is our first time at the EPM. Our first impression was that the service is indeed, excellent. After 11 days, we are still happy with the service we got every single day. As for the food, it is very good. Not excellent, but very good. We found the plates to be very generous (maybe too generous) and tasteful. I have a food allergy and the staff has been able to accommodate me in the best possible ways. We have been to El Dorado Royale, and we found the food there to be better than EPM. Despite not be3ing excellent, if it is gourmet you are looking for, EMP will meet your expectations. The beach is fabulous compared to other Mexican resorts. The sand is white, there is no rocks and only on one day, did we have a hard time finding some shades and chairs. Otherwise, there is no need to make early towel reservations, which can be so annoying sometimes. As for the pools, there are plenty of them, with lots of chairs and some beds. Some pools are very quiet, where you can completely relax without any music to be heard, where two of them have activities and music. So you can find the mood that will suit you best, on any given day. The rooms are very spacious. The bed is a bit hard, so we ended up asking for a bed mat and we also requested nicer pillows from the pillows selection. Each regular room has a relaxing bed on the balcony, as well as a roomy couch and a jacuzzi bathtub. We never spent so much time just relaxing in the bedroom and on our balcony. That is how nice the room is. Room service is efficient. The menu is somewhat limited and the food is not very tasteful. Unless you really do not want to get out, we suggest you have lunch either at the Toscana or at the lobster house. We are early sleepers and this is where our issues were with the hotel. On our first night, we were given a room on the third floor of the 7th building. The view was fantastic and we were happy. However, at night, we quickly realized that our room would be VERY Noisy at night, because the shows and then the theater show are all taking place in the middle of the resort. Everything stops at 11 PM, but for someone who really needs to sleep at an early time, the noise is unbelievably loud. We then were moved to another building (building number 5), closer to the spa. We were hopeful that the sound would not be as bad in our new room... to no avail. Every single room in the hotel facing the pools and the spa have to listen to the very loud shows until 11 PM every night. Mind you, the shows seem great. But if you need to go to bed early on your vacation, this is not the place to be. We made the best of it, and I will not say that it ruined our vacation. Everything else was so great, that it compensated for our lack of sleep at night. I can see why people come back here over and over again. If it was not for the noise at night, we would come back in a heartbeat. We would recommend this hotel, but we will not come back. Our quiet time at night is just something we really need during our holidays.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Amazing Resort!

We just got back from this resort the end of October 2016. We stayed for 1 week and it was the best vacation. We stayed at Grand Bahia Principe Tulum which is right on the beach which is beautiful. The sand is powdery white and the water a beautiful turquoise. The pools were very nice as well. We loved the swim up bar and if it got a little noisy, we just moved to another pool to relax. Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Outstanding Service!

Hotel grounds were immaculate, and the facility itself was well kept. No cracked walls, nor mold in the washrooms, pools and beach were checked and cleaned regularly, public washrooms were well kept. The buffet had great variety throughout the 9 days we were there, and the chefs were very accommodating. The outdoor Italian restaurant was excellent, as well as the Japanese restaurant. Both had chefs cook right in front of you and were highly entertaining. There is also a coffee shop, an Americ [... read more]an style restaurant and a steakhouse with an excellent filet. There are 4 pools to choose from, with a choice of kids pool, relaxing pools, and also the party pool. All had ongoing entertainment and you were not looking for something to do. The beach is very close, with great service from the bar staff. Check in/out was fast and efficient and the staff very pleasant. Beautiful facility!

Excellence Playa Mujeres: Simply the Best All Inclusive

This was our third visit to Excellence and it did not disappoint! The food at all of the restaurants was top-notch. The grounds were impeccable and the rooms very comfortable and well equipped. Their newest addition of a Coffee Bar is "excellent"! The best desserts we have ever had at any all inclusive. We will definitely be returning for a fourth visit.
