Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Wonderful Time

I went to this hotel in June 2025 for a quick long weekend trip, and wished I could stay longer. The adults only atmosphere was good if you're interested in relaxing quietly, and doing simple activities like morning yoga, salsa lessons by the pool, or silent disco at night. The staff were all very friendly and attentive to the needs of the guests. I found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, and well air conditioned. The golf cart shuttles were also very punctual. I'd definitely return to this resort.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Great resort

The resort was beautiful. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The beach and water had some sargassum, but the staff were constantly trying to rake it up. Almost all the food was excellent, although we didn't enjoy the Italian restaurant, unfortunately. That was the only restaurant that was a disappointment. The pools and grounds and hallways were always being cleaned. The staff were lovely.

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Super Relaxing Solo Travel!

As a solo-female-traveller I had such a fantastic time at the Platinum Yucatan Princess. The swim-out facing the nature preserve area was pure bliss. Big thank you to Tracey at Trip Central for making booking easy peasy!

Catalonia Royal Tulum: Fantastic vacation

We loved our vacation. The food, room and staff were amazing. This was my second visit to the Catalonia Royal Tulum and it was as great as the first time. We upgraded to Privilege because of Beloved and other perks and it did not disappoint. I will booking this resort again very soon.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Amazing Resort!

We loved everything about this resort! Will recommend to everyone. Great for kids and family! I would like to go back again next year. A+++++ service! My family keeps talking about how great this resort is.

Catalonia Royal Tulum: Amazing Eco Resort

We were very happy with this resort. We especially liked the size. We felt the resort was exceptionally clean. The staff are very friendly and professional. We liked that the resort was eco friendly. The food was good and they provided Gluten Free options.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Great

Long walk to pool which was fine, depends where your room is located, excellent food, tons of options to eat, having two hotels there, it was great, so many options Was very clean overall, I would go back, great for couples and families One of the best we have gone to I would go back

Grand Riviera Princess: Not Recomended

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the quality of service and conditions during my recent stay at your resort. What was meant to be a relaxing and enjoyable vacation turned into a frustrating experience marked by numerous issues and service failures. To begin with, upon arrival, we were made to wait over four hours for our room to be ready. Once we finally got access, we encountered the following problems: The air conditioning was not working and required a technician to  [... read more]replace the compressor. The mini fridge was not cooling and had to be replaced. The safe was not functional and required setup by a technician. The TV did not work at all, but due to the growing frustration, I chose not to pursue yet another repair. The jacuzzi was in an appalling state—unclean with hair inside and yellowish water outlets, clearly indicating it had not been properly cleaned or maintained. The room itself was not cleaned to acceptable standards, and daily housekeeping only did the bare minimum. We had to follow up daily just to get basic tasks completed. There were ants and flies in the room, and we were bitten at night despite being covered under sheets. To make matters worse, your representative never showed up the following day as promised. No explanation or replacement was provided. This caused us to miss out on planned excursions, including swimming with the dolphins and a trip to the pyramids. We were unable to book through an official channel and found independent vendors on the property offering the same excursions at suspiciously varied prices, which raised concerns about safety and legitimacy. As a result, we decided to stay in the resort and missed out on experiences we had been looking forward to. These issues represent a serious failure in service delivery, guest support, and facility maintenance. The stay was far from what was promised or expected.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Royalton riviera cancun

Everything was great, the room, staff, service. Perhaps they could have a smoking section by the pools. You could smell the smoke from a few guests smoking by the pool. I would go again if there is very little or no seaweed. We like swimming in the ocean and we were not able to this time. The water was brown. The pools were great,and we enjoyed them.

Every staff member we encountered—from housekeeping to bartenders to entertainment crew—was friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making our stay memorable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with daily restocking of the mini fridge and great AC. We had a balcony with an ocean view, which made mornings and sunsets extra special. Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya: Outstanding resort and staff

The staff were all so happy to help with anything you needed and were so welcoming. Very nice resort and well worth the stay! Our room was always clean and the food is outstanding! Will definitely be coming back.

Grand Sunset Princess: No beach, half under construction, mosquito filled room

Really disappointed with this resort. Mostly because we were not told by tripcentral agent ahead of time that half the resort was under major construction, and the beach reeked. You had one job... Drilling, concrete hammering, heavy equipment metres from the pools and our room ALL DAY is not my idea of a relaxing vacation. The beach was red flagged every day, as it was unsafe due to the seaweed (major piles of it on shore) and extremely strong sewage smell coming from it rotting all day in th [... read more]e sun. Couldn't even lay on the beach without getting nauseous. Our room was filled with mosquitoes and the hotel would not let us move rooms, instead they sprayed the room with some Mexican chemical which reduced them, but did not remove them all, or stop them from coming back. Our swim up room was a dead end due to the construction and couldn't swim to any pool bar. The a la carte restaurants were always in the snack riviera restaurant which is a very poor looking place. Surprisingly the food was excellent tasting everytime we ate. Service by the staff (except front desk) was very good.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Tons of fun & great food

I was slightly skeptical going in, but I'm glad we chose this place. The hotel, amenities, and facilities are good. The restaurants are very good. Staff was friendly. It's a perfect resort for a young family - the kids will love the water park, theater shows, beach, pools, and of course, the variety of animals that we don't see in Canada. I definitely would go back again.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Nice Resort to commune with nature with lots of animals and green spaces

We enjoyed out vacation , 2 adults and 2 children. There are several cenotes but only 1 you are allowed to swim in, and it has to be with life jackets during the open hours. They really could use a couple more pools. The main pool was a little cloudy and very hot. Tortuga pool was very clean and had some shaded areas so is the best choice. The only a la carte restaurant we liked was the brazillian one. That was great but the others were just OK. Maybe the chef was having a bad day, but we didnt really enjoy the other restaurants we tried. The buffet is open very long hours , and the taco/pizza place in the center, el nido is open long hours as well so no realy trouble getting food at any time. The beach was great. we were there during the seaweed rotting season, mid july... Normally the beackes here would be a disaster with rotting seaweed but they made a breakwater of stones that blocked most of it and they cleaned it every morning. We used it many days and it was great. nice temp, good sand and pretty clean water. The kids club is great if you have young ones. they did a great job. The resort shops have reasonable prices for most things.... In playa carmen you will pay more at 5th avenue. Maybe you can find better deals off the beaten path but we found the store in the resort was the most reasonable of any we saw. There are lots of animals around which we thought was great for us. we saw lots of monkeys, coati, racoons, and some other ones. Riding the segueways around the resort was fun and they are pretty cheap at 25$ for half hour. The staff there were great, friendly and helpful.

Grounds were exactly as we remembered them over 15 years ago, beautiful Service was good, best in the dining areas Entertainment service catered mostly to the younger crowd Disappointed they replaced the Spanish restaurant with an Asian one but overall was good Overall we had a very relaxing time and would definitely go back in the future

Riu Dunamar: Amazing resort for vacarion

Resort was very clean and well maintained by the management.. we really enjoyed riuland activities for kids.. pool and bar service was excellent.. we really enjoyed our stay at RIU dunamar. My family enjoyed the stay in the resort. We would like to consider RIU oroperties for our next vacation..staff was very helpful and friendly..

Haven Riviera Cancun: Overall good

the location is not the best, service was good and people are nice. problem was in July, seaweed takes over the beach so you cannot swim in the sea. One restaurant has dress code of shirt, leather shoes.

El Dorado Royale: Amazing Resort

All staff are very kind and the public area is well maintained. The hotel room was clean and nice, and the food was great. The pool was beautiful but sandy beach was just ok. It was inconvenient because the shuttle bus from the hotel to airport was delayed.
