Grand Palladium Palace: EXCELLENT RESORT.

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS RESORT WAS GREAT. WE HAD A LOFT SUITE WITH THE BALCONY FACING THE POOL. FOOD WAS GREAT. THE STAFF WERE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY, WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP YOU. WE FEEL THIS WAS THE BEST RESORT WE HAVE BEEN TO SO FAR, AND WE HAVE BEEN TO PUNTA CANA 3 TIMES.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Pretty not too bad

Entertainment was amazing . Rooms were ok but who spends much time in there !! Food wasn't very good but we survived . There was a crazy lady on our resort and staff dealt with her the best they could in a situation like that all in all it was good it's what you make it lots of people to met and something to do for all ages

Occidental Caribe: Disappointing

Pool area and beach was amazing. Resort was pretty close to the airport. Disco was very fun. Rooms were not very nice. Food was not very good. Most staff were not overly friendly. Entertainment was poor

Be Live Experience Hamaca Suites: A good starter resort.

Beach and pools were great. Food was very good. Grounds were kept well. Rooms need to improve. Repairs need to be done. Need to renovate main building rooms. Repairs need to be done to washrooms around the resort.

Average accommodation (some well below average); Good food and fast service. Excellent entertainment. Rather short beach. Not enough beach cots to go around. Very good bar service. Staff very helpful and polite.

Occidental Caribe: Our stay at the Barcelo Punta Cana february 2015

We had no hot water in our room for 4-5 day's. The bus that took us to Nicole's we had to book our seats, when we were to come back the bus was smaller which left 4 of our members left behind as I had to wait over 1 hour for my husband to come back to the resort with our room key. when I bought the internet they asked me which 3 day's I would like as I did purchase the 3 day package I said mon/wed/and Sat as I came to use my Saturday it did not let me connect as I went to see about it, the atten [... read more]dant told me it was 3 consecutive day's so I had to repurchase another day for 12$ as the 3 day's was 27$ went to pay at the lobby they told me it was 13$ so added another dollar. We were 12 people in our group and only 1 of us did not get sick the rest of us all got sick while we were there.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: Amazing resort

I loved it!!! There were many options of food since I am vegetarian. The staff was outstanding. I would make a trip again to hard rock resorts!!! We paid a lot per person for the trip!!!! I found the restaurants and shopping area was really cold temperature ... I would prefer warmer temperatures around these area since that's what I am going for.. Otherwise excellent resort!!!

Sunscape Dominican Beach: No Real Complaints

We stayed in the Jr Suites in block 6 and for,the extra cost it was worth it. The room was a bit dated and could you some upkeep ,ie. Shower rusty and couch looks old. The bed was comfy and room kept clean. The grounds were well cared for. The beach was nice and they tried to keep up with the seaweed that would float in. The resort was busy when we where there so had to make sure to reserve some beach chairs. The buffet was ok and we had no stomach troubles, although made sure to use the bottled [... read more] water in our room for brushing our teeth as well. Security watches the beach and keeps an eye out on the rooms. We had stopped by our room to pick up something and the door didn't shut completely within a few minutes there was a knock and the security guard was checking to make sure all was okay. All in all had a good time and no issues.

TRS Turquesa: Great Resort

Grounds were gorgeous. Staff tremendously pleasant and helpful. The beaches and the water were pristine. My favourite part. The food was good, not great. The beer was frigid. The rooms we had were clean but dated. I'd say time for an upgrade.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Lovely Resort.

The hotel was very nice, the people were amazing always smiling trying to make our vacation great,they couldn't do enough for us. The only thing was it was so far away from anything.I would go back again and yes I would recommend it to my friends.

Sunscape Dominicus La Romana: Great Value for the money!!!!

I cannot say one bad thing about this resort. Great value for the money! They upgraded us from our standard room booking to a deluxe room for no charge. There are always cleaners cleaning, workers maintaining, everything we came across worked. The food whether it was the buffet or restaurants were great, plentiful and the variety I'm sure met all needs ... from the picky to the adventurous. The staff are all polite, we met with Marco the General Manager who took time from his busy day to talk to [... read more] us. The beach is incredible ... one of the nicest we've seen, being beside a National Park enables you to walk forever (or till you get thirsty) without the busyness of a shopping mall at Xmas. Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Average Resort

The grounds, buildings and rooms were very nice. The hotel lacks in service including the front desk, no bar service around the pool or the beach. The fact that dinners have to be booked on line is not very convenient, in fact, most people required assistance at the front desk in order to use the app. You are only allowed 1 beach towel and required a card to get one. Good resort if you are looking for a resort that is a little less expensive.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Wonderful Resort. Part of Bahia Principe Complex

Very pleased with our stay at the Esmeralda. Very friendly Staff, beautiful clean pools and grounds, lovely sand beach, great food, gorgeous clean restaurants and room with modern bath. All terrific. Special care given to us by Julio! Loved the fact they sanitized hands as you enter food services. Nothing negative to report from me!

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Great resort but getting too busy.

Our third visit....great location, beautiful quite beaches to explore. Excellent restaurants with a wide variety of well prepared and tasty dishes....you will gain weight! We love the many trees that provide shade at the beach and pool. The resort added rooms this year and it is noticeably busier making it hard to find a lounge chair at the beach or pool. The resort added a sheltered seating area and patio areas providing extra space to enjoy an evening cocktail. We heard there are more expansio [... read more]n plans and hope the plans include an additional pool (an adults only pool would be nice!) and dining areas. We continue to recommend this resort but suggest you keep an eye on future reviews.

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Subpar

Old but pretty, only one key per room, am have to wake at 7 to sign up for a la cartes, terrible beach & HORRIBLE customer service. Reception staff lied to us and were overall rude & lazy. Great pool.

VIK Hotel Arena Blanca: cute resort

We go on holidays for the beach so we were happy because they do have a wonderful beach.The resort is quite small so easy to walk everywhere. They have a small lobby with a small bar and a few tables. They have lots of room in the lobby for more tables and chairs and they could make it look more inviting. We usually like to go to the lobby before dinner for a drink but here it is not inviting.Never any tables available and they do not have live entertainment except for the shows at night. We did [... read more] all 3 a la cartes (no reservations needed) just walk in. They were all good but we preferred the buffet. The food was very good with lots of choices. I don't know how people can complain about the food here. The staff were mostly very pleasant. We had booked a Superior gardenview room and when we got there we got a room that should be condemmed. We went back to the lobby and told the guy that this could not be a superior room. He said yes it is but give me $50 dollars just between us and I will give you a better room. It was either slip him $50 or pay $16 each per night extra to get the room that we booked to begin with.We had friends coming the next day so we did not argue with him and gave him $50. I booked our friends room also when we booked so was curious to see what room they were going to get. Well they got a nicer room than us (after the $50)in a better location. They saw us coming a mile away and for that reason I will not recommend this resort.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Fabulous Family Resort

The resort is clean, the staff is friendly, there is so much to do day and night. The waterpark is amazing for all ages. They have tons of activities in the pool. They have so many food options for kids.

Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: Excellent Beach access and good food/service

This resort offers up excellent quality for the money. While the rooms are fairly basis they are clean and comfortable. The beachfront offers a $1M view and the staff service is always cheerful & timely

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beyond Expectations!

My husband and I travelled with my elderly mother for two weeks to the Bahai Principe Don Pablo Luxury Ambar resort. Mom travels with a walker and we had no problems. We stayed in the Ambar 1 section and it was the best vacation we have had with my mom. The resort was well maintained and run by friendly, happy staff who always went the extra step to make all of us feel like pampered family. Buffet and restaurant food was top notch and varied. No restaurant reservation problems...though you can r [... read more]eserve ahead on line for the popular restaurants, we had no issues. All the extra touches were there: special coffees, crepes, tequila bar, fresh fruit served at the pool, Zumba fitness every day, mariachi band on Mexican night, chocolate cart in the lobby just for fun, beach party, trolley rides to rest of resort, music for dancing in lobby every night. Beach area is large and well maintained and even has wooden boardwalks up to designated wheelchair shade huts throughout beach. Definitely pick this one...the Don Pablo Luxury Ambar lives up to its name!

We had a great time. The pools are nice and clean. The beach is very kids friendly. Service is great. Good air conditioned and hot water in the showers. Pretty good food. Excellent place for families with young kids.
