Secrets Tulum Resort and Beach Club: Amazing Resort

The hotel is fairly new with a jungle theme. It’s very beautiful however lots of walking to get to your room, lobby and restaurants. The food and room service is amazing, the rooms are clean and spacious. The staff are very friendly and polite. Each night there is entertainment to keep you entertained. Only problem is the beach is 15 minutes away from the hotel and lots of mosquitoes so bring a bug spray. Otherwise. I had a great time.

Riu Latino: Riu never disappoints

We loved the hotel, food was delicious and plenty, people were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and you can tell staff cares about it, bravo! The staff made us feel safe, comfortable and welcomed. We’ll definitely be back! My only suggestion, the laundry detergent that is used for the sheets smells very strong and I had issues sleeping because of it, looking for something with a softer scent or no scent would be better.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Great Resort Grand Sirenis Cancun

This hotel is amazing and we love out stay there. The staff are great, food was good and ambience is superb. We loved staying there, The room services was excellent. Can't complain at all. We had a super vaccation. Thanks to Trip central Wendy and team and the hotel staff.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Amazing for the price

When we arrived we thought maybe we had made a mistake. Building er were originally put in was a block from beach. First day changed rooms. By the end of vacation we rated it up there with some of the places previously stayed at near csncun. Great for kids. No undertow. Water was warm. Coral island had great visibility and variety of fish.

Riu Latino: Second timer!

Just came back on Saturday. This place has it all. The food is amazing. Four restaurants to choose from without needing to make reservations. The beach was amazing. Some seaweed but would always be cleaned and we swam in the ocean everyday. The pools are clean. The grounds are immaculately clean. Theres always entertainment or a party, but lots of quiet space for those who want quiet time. The only thing is that there's seperate music playing at the different pools and sometimes, it's a bit anno [... read more]ying to hear a mix of different music playing at one time. Can be noisy sometimes. If your room is around the stage, you won't be sleeping early. Excellent service. Epic time. I'd go back for a third time.

Grand Sunset Princess: Worse experience we've ever had

It's hard to find the words to describe the horrible experience we had. Our rooms were dirty and not even the rooms we booked. They also weren't togther the jacuzzi outside was not usable and disgusting. We also got covered in bed bug bites the first day. Has to find a doctor for cream. The room service just came and made the bed they didn't clean anything or change the sheets. The food trying to book a dinner was impossible the app didn't work and there was never any room. The workers were ver [... read more]y rude and slow. We had no clue for or travelling commute from the hotel to airport there was no notice or anything they didn't take us and we had to pay $125 US for a taxi to get to our flight. We were beyond disappointed especially with the money we spent extra to go this resort that was recommended to us. It was the worst place and experience we have ever had with an all inclusive.

I just wanted to share my disappointment regarding our recent stay at the hotel. Although I expected a high-end experience for the price we paid, one of the rooms we received upon arrival had visible mold on the wall (I have photos) and a strong moldy smell, which is clearly unhealthy. We requested to switch rooms immediately and ended up spending nearly two days dealing with this issue. One of the rooms was finally changed on the second day, but it significantly impacted our experience. However, the overall situation left us quite dissatisfied with our stay.

Barcelo Maya Tropical: Amazing resort!!!

beautiful property! great amenities! Food was awesome! Rooms were adequate. We are Seniors and would have very much appreciated shuttles to the pools buffets etc. But was managable! Only complaint and its a very small one-the pool water was way too warm and would have welcomed an infusion of cold water to the pool waters. was a bathtub! Beaches are beautiful and the staff at the Barcelo were so awesome!

Dreams Bahia Mita Surf and Spa: Ok

Hotel has construction happening next to the hotel. Lots of noise during the day and at night too. Buffet is ok. Lots of language barrier with waiters and staff. Limited restaurants and only cafes and most close at 5 till dinner.

Riu Latino: This resort checked all the boxes. Bravo Latino!

This was my first trip back to Mexico in over 30 years and Riu Latino checked all the boxes. It’s a relatively new hotel and it shows. All the amenities from the lobby, to the restaurants, the five pool decks, multiple bars, the water park, lounge chairs, sun covers and our room, everywhere we looked we found this resort equipped with the latest and the greatest. The resort was always clean as the staff was constantly seen cleaning and polishing at every turn. Our maid service was superb, always on time and extremely thorough. The beach is the largest I’ve seen and although there was some sargassum evident, it was cleared away and the beach groomed every day. There were plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas at the beach as well as on the pool decks. There were lots of activities around the pool areas from aerobics to bean bag toss, water polo, volleyball, table tennis, beach soccer, bingo and more. Had lots of fun making use of the water park. The entertainment in the evening offered quite a variety from Las Vegas, to Mexican, various countries around the world, rock & roll, Michael Jackson and karaoke. Food in the restaurants was excellent including the complimentary house wines. The buffet restaurant offered a wide choice of cuisine from Mexican, to Chinese, Italian, Seafood, meats and salads of all kinds, vegan, and more. Great selection of fruits, baked deserts, and ice cream. There were four of us travelling, my wife, myself, my daughter and son in-law. My wife and I were celebrating a mile stone birthday and my daughter and son in-law their second wedding anniversary. As such the resort was kind enough to surprise us with two bottles of champagne to compliment our stay. I highly recommend this resort and we hope to go back soon.

Riu Dunamar: nice resort

The rooms are clean and are cleaned everyday. The buffets and restaurants are also clean. The waiters are friendly and often check up to see if you need anything else. The beach is nice and so are the 4 pools.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Incredible experience!

This is my second time at the Valentin. I was there about 15 years ago and the experience was even better than I remembered. The food and service were exceptional. Special thanks to Michelle, Adolfo and Oscar in the fine dining restaurants. Virginia and Amado were incredibly attentive as pool/bar staff. We couldn't have asked for a better stay, weather and atmosphere. The resort was only 40% full due to the time of the year and personally, I enjoyed the quieter environment. Paradisus Playa del Carmen: No beach! Too much that’s not included!

Clean. Good service. Modern design. Food was just ok. Way too many items on menus are for extra charge! Too many areas, pools, restaurants, are off limits for families. Nicer areas were for adults only. Beach completely off limits and no one told us this until we showed up!!! After many attempts with the staff to even organize a one day trip to a nicer area of the beach, we were denied. At the very least we should have been told about the beach situation. This was a beach resort vacation with not beach!!!

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Disappointed

Once we finally got into our room we asked 4 times for extra bedding. The day I took it of a housekeeping cart. The resort shows no compassion with anybody with a non-visible disability! My six year-old autistic, grandson lost his bracelet We searched for it with no success. Explained the situation and we’re still required to pay $150 US replacement.

El Dorado Royale: Great Resort

The grounds and rooms are beautiful. Everything is clean and well kept. The service right from the beginning to end. Axel at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating our needs. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and Victor was an excellent server. Could not have anyone better! The pools are wonderful with all the swim up bars. There are quieter pools and some with more action and fun. The food was really good. The staff helped us celebrate two special occasions by doing special things for [... read more] us. On Canada we received special chocolates. The only downfall was you could not use the ocean.

Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: Interesting Resort

This hotel needs an update overall but the rooms are fine. The restaurants were buffet for breakfast and lunch but a-la carte only for dinner which was great. My issue was with the lack of nightly entertainment. They use one room with pool tables and let the guests sing karaoke to entertain themselves. The pool area was nice, clean and staff would come around and service you drinks all day. The beach always had a red flag because of the high waves. Barcelo Maya Palace: Our favourite place

We keep coming back to Barcelo Palace. Tried many other resourts as well....but this is the one we like! Amazing staff, food, restaurants and turtles ? The hotel does a great job with cleaning seaweed too !

Barcelo Maya Palace: Fantastic family resort

Beautiful resort with immaculate grounds and beautiful beach. Staff never stopped working to maintain the grounds. Bar and wait staff were fast and efficient. The food was delicious, and had choices for even the pickiest eaters. The kids buffet was a hit for our kids! The kids club was welcoming and had awesome activities every hour. Room was spacious, clean and quiet! Can’t wait to go back!
