Paradise Playa Dorada: Great Resort

I stayed here the end of November with my husband for 10 days . The hotel was good and staff were very friendly an accommodating. Nice little swim up bar and a nice variety of activities to do. Only thing missing was a beach volleyball net lol but other then that it was great ... I would go back

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: The resort was nice and clean

The grounds were always kept clean. The food was good and there was always plenty their waitress were very warm and welcome and the service was amazing. Everything about the resort was great starting from the bed being made and the care that they took in doing it, everyone being welcoming and nice the food was great a large variety of things to eat at lunch, at the buffet for breakfast and dinner we were able to eat well. The vacation was very relaxing we enjoy it very much

Viva Tangerine by Wyndham: Great time!

We had a great stay at the Viva Wyndham Tangerine in Puerto Plata. The staff were kind and the animation staff were very entertaining. The hostess in the buffet Jessica was awesome ! She always made our kids feel so welcome. Hugging and giving them high fives everyday! The couple things I could complain about is that they wouldn’t give us bottles of water. 2 small bottles a day for a room with 4 people in it. The beach area was amazing only you are extremely hounded by the local sellers. The water was very wavy .. the only thing u can do in it is jump the very high and strong waves .. too dangerous for kids to swim in. But beautiful to watch. Watching the kiteboarders going by we’re so fun to watch every afternoon. We had a great week with family and would go back again in a heartbeat.

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Beautiful Resort

The Resort was kept in immaculate condition. We had a great time. A few small improvements would make this resort top notch. Service for coffee/ drinks in the buffet was not good. Music playing all day at the pool rather than just when the entertainment staff were on. More nightly entertainment, The entertainment staff were great and really friendly. All the bartenders were fantastic!

Sunscape Puerto Plata: Nice resort

Just got back from sunscape puerto plata beautiful resort variety of good food entertainment was excellent. The staff at this resort was awesome except for the staff that there uniforms were navy and light blue they try every way to con people that are on vacation into time share which I think is wrong. Viva Tangerine by Wyndham: Viva Wyndham Tangerine puerto plata

Loved the resort well kept and beautifully located with the large pool area providing a grand view of the ocean providing a great daily ocean breeze keeping us all comfortable. This boutique resort was very walkable and easy to navigate. Morning music around the pool a little too loud for most of us. Wearher could not have been finer Nov 22-29. Shows started late at 10pm we made it to some Shows, And the staff were very talented! The disco commenced even later, wasnever awake to explore my love for dancing.The long beach and pool sold me on this resort.

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Wonderful Trip

The Senator is a beautiful hotel, the staff is wonderful and the beach is absolutely great. We were really happy with the food, tasty and a great selection. The Japanese Ala Cart was well worth it and the staff putting it on was wonderful. The only downfall I could see was that sometimes it was difficult to get refills on coffee. All in all, we had a blast!

Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: Very nice

The hotel is very beautiful and arranged very well.Everything there is a comfortable walking distance inside the resort. The food is excellent.The staff very professional and helpful. Bartenders are excellent without having to tip extravagantly. I enjoyed walking outside the resort every day for my daily exercise. Casa Marina Reef Resort: Wonderful place!

This was the first time my wife and I stayed at this resort. We both agree that we will return. Friendly staff, good food and wonderful views make this a place to remember. The rooms in the section we stayed in are dated but they are renovating constantly

Hotel good clean rooms grounds we'll keep staff very helpful food so so.The nitely entertament was good ,daily sport actively was great. Will return will return next year or sooner this year. If the weather be comes so cold I require some heat.

Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: Casa Marina Beach Resort Review

The resort was a fair size. The customer Service individuals in the front lobby were extremely helpful. The only downfall is that you had many people approach you wanting to sell you things on the resort.

Blue Bay Villas Doradas: Blue Bay Villas

The resort itself is nice but do not expect much. Some days housing cleaning would not come unless we called. We were constantly harassed by hotel employees to join their “vip circle one” after numerous times telling them we weren’t interested. When you would go to the beach you were attacked by the beach sellers to buy their stuff/excursions. Not in anyway could we enjoy being at the beach unless we were in the water. Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Very nice resort

Be Live Collection has a very large swimming pool with be clean daily. DJ music and pool activities always make me excited. At a pool bar, I tried all around kinds of cocktail and almost all are very good. We went to a buffer restaurant for breakfast and dinner. A menu is be changed every day and foods are so fresh, not too hot, not too salty, not to sweet, therefore my wife can eat so much. Casa Marina Reef Resort: Nic resort you get for your money.

The look of the hotel is nice. Room are clean and ok. I had a better one to this hotel before. In the last 3 years they did a lot of renovation and they have not finish. the food at the buffet is ok - good. Restaurant a la carte very good food Italien - mexican and see food. The staff are polite, friendley they are doing their best to make sure you have a good day. Internet his expensive and do not work good. You have to pay for the safe and it is not an electronic safe. Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Beautiful Resort!

Loved our stay here. The resort is beautiful, grounds are well looked after and the staff is very accommodating. I was originally concerned that there was only one pool however it is never-ending and beautiful. I highly recommend this resort!

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Great Vacation!!

The resort is beautiful, by far the prettiest along the stretch of beach. Really enjoyed the Vintage club that you have access to with the Premium Pkg. Would highly recommend upgrading! There were a couple issues that arose but the resort was quick to accommodate and were always friendly throughout the entire stay. We loved our private concierge and waiter and will definitely be coming back to this resort!!

Very clean, friendly staff, great food, weather, all the alcartes had great food, good value for your dollar. I have been there twice, I you use a power wheelchair they now have an accesable van in Porta Plata. I will go there again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Viva Heavens by Wyndham: Incredible value for money

I learned of Heavens from my tripcentral agent who had been there. It exceeded even my strict expectations. Upgraded to a suite, spotless grounds, excellent food especially in the themed a la carte restaurants, no lineups for anything, very cheerful staff, plenty of beach chairs, very smooth transfers and checkin, etc. The beach can be walked for miles, much of it undeveloped especially to the east - very pleasant. Minimal seaweed problem, and workers clean up what there is of it each morning. [... read more] I knew this would be good when I read the TripAdviser and Booking.com reviews - virtually nothing negative. I have nothing negative to say either. It was on a par with the Viva Wyndham Azteca in Mexico - perhaps better in view of the quieter beach and the fact that Heavens is adults only. And it was half the price even as a single. Good level of clientele - Canadians, Europeans and S. Americans. I'm going back in January and though it will be a busier time, the cost was only $300 more than in November.

Sunscape Puerto Plata: Second time around and still great

The staff at this resort is stellar! They are so genuinely happy and a pleasure to be around. The facilities are very clean and comfortable and the beach and ocean are spectacular. The beach vendors are kind very respectful but the on site vendors were sometimes a little aggressive. It was a slow time so I am sure that they were really hoping for more sales. We are thinking of returning next year and trying the sunclub. Many thanks to all!
