VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Friendly resort!

Food was very good. We felt very safe here and beach was amazing. They have a lot of vendors on the beach but they are all very polite. We had a couple of bad weather days at the beginning of our stay but there was always a beautiful breeze down by the beach. There are a lot of trees along the hotel border of the beach and always a chair in the sun and a place in the shade if you prefer that. Entertainment could be better. Vista Sol Punta Cana: Nice to get away from the snow

The sand and sun is beautiful, nice pools as well. The food isn't the best but there was always something. Lobby bar closed at midnight, no where to get fresh coffee until 9am Hardly had any hot water, I might have had 3 hot showers. It was an ok resort if you didn't want anything to do, not much of a night life

Sunscape Dominican Beach: Punta Cana -Good Times.

Resort is above average. Staff is great! Rooms...clean but low water pressure. Grounds very well kept and maintained. Food was better than expected. Buffets were good buffets. (lots of selection) Ala Carts...some were very good/some very bad. No Canadian Whiskey on site. (bummer but not a deal breaker). Beach issues with seaweed rolling in. Out of the resort's control but they worked hard daily to clean it up. Pools were a great alternative. Felt safe and comfortable to whole time.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Amazing resort

My husband and I travel south two to three times a year and the Bahai Principe is definitely worth investigating for a trip south. The staff are friendly and the property is kept remarkably clean. Whether you are eating in the buffet or the a la carte, you will get a great meal with lots to choose from. It is slso nice to be able to leave from Hamilton. The experience from start to finish was great

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Wonderful Hotel

Nothing better than this hotel. If you really want a good place, good services here it is the one. I stayed for 4 days, it was short. And now I look forward to come back here again. Love, miss all people there. Everything was clean, nice, friendly and all their smile, very very very kindly

JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar: Fabulous

The grounds, the rooms, the service and the food! Absolutely fabulous. But the people were the greatest: sincere and truly interested in making your stay unforgettable. They want you to rate them as the best. And they absolutely were. My 3rd time in the DR and this is the place to return to!

Caribe Deluxe Princess: good food and restaurants

Our room had a leak in the bathroom ceiling and they tried to tell us it was condensation. It was not and they finally moved us after we complained again. Staff were not overly friendly and were put out when we complained. As VIP we did not have our fridge restocked each day, never got our bath robes and we had to ask for premium liquor and sing for it. They were also very slow to clean up all the sea weed on the beach everyday.

Cofresi Palm Beach and Spa Resort: Great resort. Huge! Be prepared to walk.

The resort is beautiful.the food was good. We found check-in to be a pain though. We arrived by bus load and stood in line for 2 hours to check in. The bars didn't open at their proper times. Always late. Otherwise very nice resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Awesome Resort!!1

Food is great!!! Beach is awesome. Great Family resort, a water park for the kids, mini-putt and so much more.So much to see and do at the resort. We were soooo excited that they had a Super Bowl Party.... Would go back....

JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar: Best service and atmosphere ever

Beautiful, peaceful hotel and grounds, excellent staff and food beyond expectations. Everyone went an extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. Smiles from dawn till dusk and great entertainment and dancing to finish our day.

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Sirenis Cocotal is a wonderful resort!!!

My husband and I along with another couple travelled to this resort from 31 January to 7 February via Air Canada Vacations out of Toronto. We had a fantastic time and were very impressed with everything about this resort. Check in was very quick and efficient. We arrived later in the evening and were able to go directly to our room. We ate at the Mexican, Steak House and Japanese a la cartes. Food was delicious at each one with great service, friendly and very courteous. Buffet always had plenty of food with different choices. We always sat in Cristian's area for breakfast who kindly reserved our table each morning. Excellent service from all the wait staff. Our coffee cups were always filled with hot, delicious coffee. There are a lot of bars all over the resort and there were never line ups at any of them. Bartenders are friendly, outgoing and ready to please. The beach is gorgeous with plenty of palapas and chairs. It was so nice not to have to rush down at 6 a.m. to reserve your chairs for the day. We sat on the quieter side of the pool area (next to the VIP area). We don't think too many people knew about this area and it was much quieter than the other side. The pool hut opens early and there were always clean, warm towels available. We would recommend this resort to anyone. Very good value and we had a wonderful holiday.

Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites: Amazing Resort

Food was excellent, comfortable room, friendly people, great entertainment. It is a family orientated resort. Very safe for the children to walk around. If something was not good they would try to fix it as fast as possible. I would go again with my family.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: GREAT RESORT

GREAT TRIP RESORT WAS GOOD ,BEACH WAS GREAT,FOOD WAS GOOD STAFF WAS TOP NOTCH,RESORT WAS VERY LARGE,GREAT SERVICE AT ALL BARS,ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND WELL LOOK AFTER THERE WAS A FUNNY SMELL IN ROOMS A COUPLE OF TIMES.

Ancora Private Residence Yacht Club and Marina: beautiful resort with huge rooms

The resort is very beautiful and large,pools are sparkling clear,the food is great.They do need more pool music variety but is very good.There is a very nice beach 5 minutes away,$3 cab ride.We had a great relaxing time and the 24 hour room service was awesome.

Punta Cana Princess: Good resort

The people and the service are first class. In most part, the food was fantastic...especially the Fondue and the Italian restaurant. Because of the lack of lawn chairs at the pool and at the beach, people have taken our reserve spot twice (you know when you put your towels on the chairs to mark it reserve!). More chairs should be provided. As for the room, excellent! Just a few things they could improve on - small toilet cubicle and not enough lighting over the sink (hard to shave or put make-up [... read more]). Balcony was perfect (room 5114). The beach bar was so close to our room...gave us the opportunity to really enjoy our night w/o having to walk far to our room :) Big kisses to Yasmin and Percios at the beach bar!!

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Good resort

Hotel was clean, rooms were small. the beach area was not good, piles of seaweed that were removed buy a shovel, could have been cleaner. Not enough chairs at beach, or around the pool. The food at this resort was great.

Occidental Punta Cana: Wonderful resort

Grounds are beautiful and well kept, beaches are great, food is excellent, service is fine, positive and always with a smile, but rooms are outdated with old furniture and beds, need updating...good value

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great resort

We stayed at the Bahia 6 years ago and LOVED it, this time we were a little desapointed in the food, there was no variarity at the buffet, the "À la carte" were not the best. We have a feeling they have gotten too big and the quality expected with a 5 stars has gone down.

Viva Tangerine by Wyndham: Three Star Kite friendly!

Food is decent, resort is nice and rooms are ok. you can expect a small issue or two like no hot water but eventually this gets fixed. This is not an ideal place for non-kiters! Very windy and kites on the beach are dangerous to tanners and pedestrians.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Better than ever

Spectacular grounds, gorgeous pools,friendly staff and a lovely beach...had some coral. The food was the best we have ever had. We were here 3 years ago for my daughter's wedding and will defiantly return. The only drawback was no snorkelling. There was a big reef but both times it was way too wavy.
