Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Great, Relaxing Holiday!

Staff were wonderful - very attentive. Juan in Housekeeping was amazing and left us with incredible towel creations each day. Our concierge, Jose was very friendly and helpful. Katerin, our wait-staff at the beach was very sweet. I have no idea how she managed to lug those huge trays around the beach in the hot sun!! The food was amazing. Ala cartes that we went to were the Brazilian (awesome!), steak house, Thai and seafood restaurants. All were really tasty and the servers were great. [... read more] Lots of very tasty beverages! My favourites were Blue Hawaii, Flying Gorilla and of course, Margaritas. Went on the Cenote Maya excursion. It was lots of fun and I even managed to rappel into the Cenote! Our tour guide, Nicolas, was amazing. I highly recommend this excursion booked through Transat. Rooms were spacious and cleaned thoroughly every day. Mini-bar was replenished daily although the fridge was not overly cold. Lots of amazing wildlife - iguanas, coatis, racoons, fish at the beach. The beach was very pretty. It was quite rocky in some spots but you could pick your way through the rocks and reach the soft sand. Loved this place!

Moon Palace Cancun: Overall - OK.

We chose this resort for the golf course - so that worked out well. Overall though....food was disappointing - very much so actually. We would have been in Cuba for all I knew. Customer service makes this resort though. The people are outstanding. Beach terrible (which we know), pools - ok, spa - excellent. No Mexican character...very disappointing from that perspective. Moon Palace Cancun: Third time in Mexico, least favorite spot

We chose this resort for the golf course and for that reason it worked out well. Overall our stay was pleasant as we were not expecting a spectacular beach - but the pool areas ended not quite as expected. Sunrise is too crowded, never a chair.... Nuzic is nice enough but still quite busy. Grand was the best for us but a long way from our room in Sunrise. The staff is what makes this resort - they are all amazing. Disappointing: 1. FOOD - definitely not even 3 star - except the Italian place at the golf course - it was exceptional. 2. Didn't once see a Mexican band. We could have been at any destination....no distinct Mexican character. Sadly, we came back missing Mexico. 3. Communication RE entertainment - nothing displayed on TVs or handouts...had to seek out the info daily...not so fun on such a huge property. Trip over to Beach Palace was worth it - nice little spot over there, but busy too.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Your average all-inclusive.

Everything was average. The food was average. The service was average. The ambiance was average. The rooms were average. The shows were average to mediocre. The sand was lovely but the water was rough, dirty and murky. Gorgeous shower in the room. Issues in our room we cleared up the same day (broken hairdryer, broken bed...). Plentiful a la carte bookings. Front desk was always pleasant and helpful. No real problems or negatives, but nothing really amazing either. Deco was on the mo [... read more]dern side, which lacked the Caribbean feel to it. Animation staff was nice enough but yet detached from the guests.

Grand Marival Emotions Resort and Suites: Lovely Resort

Spent a week at the Grand Marival and it was heaven!. The beach is amazing and there were lots of beach chairs, as well as at the pools. We were extremely impressed by the Michael Jackson show - the dancers were fantastic. This show was better than many Broadway shows that I've paid money to see. My only suggestion is that it would be nice if the Disco had different music on different nights just as the performances were different each night. Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Pretty nice

For first time vacationers, it was great. Clean and well maintained, friendly staff. One waiter, we dreaded getting (Raúl) in the buffet area. Poolbar staff wasn't very attentive. 24hr bar Bartender, the best!

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: “Amazing Gluten free resort for family”

My wife and I stayed at Azul Fives in the begging of August for 7 days along with our 13 and 16 year old daughters. Our eldest daughter was diagnosed with Celiac Disease about a year before our trip and we were so nervous. We were extremely concerned about her dietary restrictions along with the factor of 'cross-contamination'. However, our experience at Azul fives was truly unforgettable. Each and every restaurants had gluten free options on all of their menus. When we first checked into the hotel they sent an email to all of the restaurants informing them of our daughters allergy which was extremely helpful. As soon as she identify her gluten allergy, we were able to meet with the chef of each kitchen to walk us thought the buffet or to go over the menu in detail for safe choices with no hesitation. They would also prepare separate meats, gluten free pasta and even had amazing dessert options all prepared gluten free. Our favorite stop at lunch was Oriola which was right by the main pool and beach. They had many gluten free options including tacos, seafood, salads and many more. If at Oriola we always made sure to look for David! He was always so welcoming and was well aware of her diet. Her favorite dinner place was Arezzo, an Italian cuisine which had an amazing gluten free white sauce pasta. All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay at Azul fives. The main pool by the beach had many fun activities each day such as water/land volleyball, Jenga, Connect Four, Inflatable bull rides, water aerobics, dance routines and many more. Our favorite pool was in between Villa 15 & 16. It had the most shade which was great. At night they had many different shows at the sky bar or near the front of the hotel. In the end, our trip was an extremely memorable and safe trip for the entire family!! thank you :)

Riu Tequila: Riu Tequila

Last week I stayed at the Riu Tequila Riviera Maya and I am very happy with the hotel. The food was perfect and the beach is gorgeous!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!!! The day and night time performance was exceptional!!

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: ok for first time

Not knowing what to expect. Resort itself was lovely, clean well maintained. But the thought of going the buffet with the rude waiters turned us off (Raúl). The pool bar staff was not very attentive..

We didn't know what to expect. Very clean, well maintained resort. We were having a great time until we had to eat at the buffet. Waiters ruined it especially Raúl. Along with the poolbar staff, who catered to the rowdy white people.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Alright for first a first vacation

The whole resort was lovely. It was our first time going to a resort and wasn't sure what to expect. Housekeeping/rm service top notch. However, the waiters in the buffet area, Terrible especially Raul. As well as the pool bar staff.

Riu Tequila: Riu Tequila

Everything was exceptional to the highest extent. The rooms are huge, clean, and close to pools, bars and entertainment. The beach was beautiful and the best part is being able to use two other resorts while in the same vicinity. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Isla Mujeres Palace: Isla Gem

The Isla Mujeres Palace is outstanding on many levels. Friendly, efficient staff make every effort to make your stay exceptional. The resort rooms and public areas are well designed and beautifully decorated. The restaurant buffets and à la carte are varied and delicious. I was very happy to find an array of hot sauces in a range of heat for all tastes. The beach area is lovely with Palm trees, a long dock with a palapa along with a view of Cancun in the distance. The bar mixed excellent drinks with fresh fruit where required and even mixed our own creation of coconut icecream, banana, Baileys, Kahlua and Cognac! More dessert than drink and as yet unnamed. Location is great as well. It is very close to the turtle farm, Dolphin Experience, Punta Sur, Casa Mendaca, Garafon Park and several beach clubs we didn't try. It is a fabulous resort and easy to reach from Cancun. We loved it.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Excellent stay!

Great food, pool options, restaurants, service and a beautiful resort. Room amenities were kept well stocked and rooms clean. Highly recommend! There is also an awesome place to snorkel or swim 5minutes left on the beach.

Riu Vallarta: RIU VALLARTA

I book this with trip central on JULY 18TH 2016 for 7days vacation for myself and family , at first I was debate about the resort, but my vacation was incredible. the resort was very clean, a lots to things to do especial if you take kids with you. The room very clean, good air condition, surround clean too, The staff was very pleasant, the foods was fantastic,. Over all good. Grand Palladium Kantenah: Amazing

This resort is awesome!! We stayed for 7 nights, wish we stayed longer. People are awesome, bartenders know what they are doing!! Very clean, friendly, beautiful. I don't know what else to say!! Only part that could have been better is explaining the restaurants

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Amazing vacation

We had an amazing stay in Grand Esmerelda. Staff was so courteous and food was simply amazing. Restaurant à la carte were delicious. Beach was ok, we had to walk 5 mins either sides of the resort to get better spot. But since the pool was so ginormous, it's not like we were running out of options. Rooms were nice, but we had an issue with a leaking sealing, the safe and the A/C... Overall, we had an amazing vacation and would go back anytime

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Amazing Resort

We spent 10 days at this resort and loved every minute of it. The resort is very clean and our room was more then we expected. There is always something going on to keep you busy or you can just relax and do nothing. Both the pool and the beach were the nicest we've seen in the Mayan. This was our 4th resort in the Mayan and we will definitely go back to the Valentin.

Finest Playa Mujeres by Excellence Group: Great Family Resort

This resort was amazing! Food was great, the service was amazing, and facilities were first class! I would definitely go back to this resort! Also for those who have kids not to worry the Finest has an excellent Kids Club that is fun and engaging.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Upscale and great price

Beautiful resort, constant maintenance to keep the condition of the resort, and to keep it spotless, amazing food, tortilla / authentic tacos are the best, great variety of choices. Staff in dining room is hit or miss, most are helpful.
