Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Love this resort!

Grounds are meticulously kept. Staff are amazing & friendly. Food was excellent at all restaurants. No complaints whatsoever, it was our 2nd time there and I would go again! Huge main pool area with lots of activities. Love the swim up bar! 2 adult pools of you want a quieter space. 3-4 beach areas to choose from too!

Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton: Excellent family choice

Grand Palladium is a resort that bends over backwards to give their guests everything they can possibly want, I wouldn't expect that any traveller would want an experience that they haven't already thought of. The resort is giant 1500 rooms that takes a half hour to walk from one end to another. The F&B again offers everything (to varying degrees of success) but rest assured there are almost unlimited options for the picky. The rooms are as spacious at the the resort (where we stayed anyways, we heard there were many older rooms that weren't as nice as ours). Nicely appointed but without the quality mattresses that we are accustomed to. Many amenities are dated and broken unfortunately but if you are a seasoned all inclusive traveller you should understand this is common with any 3rd world country. We felt safe all this time as we never left the property, the violence, unrest and travel advisories did not affect our stay at all. I would not think twice about taking our kids. Kids clubs, gaming rooms and play areas all seem well used and I know our kids would be occupied for many hours should they go with next time.

Large resort with lots to see and do. Beautiful and clean everywhere. Wonderful, helpful people on staff in every area. Delicious variety of food, drinks, cafe, etc Gorgeous and clean beach areas. Fun shows, live music and activities everyday. Good quality drinks served in nice glassware

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Amazing resort!

I loved everything about this resort! The staff, the food, everything was amazing. I highly recommend this resort. I can not wait to return. The best service we have ever received. Ever!! Cannot say enough good things about this property.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Great Holiday at an Amazing Resort

Attended a destination wedding which was wonderful, the resort did a great job. The grounds were immaculate and rooms were very clean. Actually the whole resort was very clean including the public washrooms, it was very impressive. Loved the 24 hour snack bar which included hamburgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, nachos, pastries, fruit, beer, coffee, tea, juice, pop and fresh popped popcorn which I ate everyday!!!!! We traveled with a vegetarian and he was satisfied at every meal. Entertainment was great and the beach was the best on Bloody Bay. My only complaint would be our room. It was at the back of building 2 on the ground floor close to the road and beside a utility room that was used by staff so it was very noisy and had a sewer smell. We were surprised we had such a bad room considering we were one of the first to book months ago where people who booked later had fabulous rooms. Other than that we loved every minute of our vacation.

Secrets St James: Perfect place for Class Reunion

People make the place and a place without friendly dedicated and helpful staff is just a place. The Staff were simply wonderful from bellmen, to cleaning staff to bar and restaurant staff and concierge. Entertainment was excellent, food was good to great. The two golf courses, Cinnamon Hills and White Witch, were delightful. The views at White Witch incredible and the sand traps plentiful. A great getaway for celebrating 40+ years since graduation. Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Pleasantly surprised

This hotel was excellent. Room, service, amenities, cleanliness, and food. Couldn't ask for better. Normally I would try to avoid the large buffet style restaurants, and eat at the smaller specialty dining places, but Riu Palace's buffets are amazing. Attended my daughter's beach wedding, which was organized by the hotel. It was perfect. A wonderful experience was had by all. Thank you for recommending this facility.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Put your money elsewhere!

The hotel is well kept but it ends there. The staff is rude, no WiFi on the luxury side. They run out of everything including ice daily. The bartenders can’t mix the drinks on the menu at at the pool bars they try and give you premixed drinks. The food is subpar and most of our party of 12 were sick with some stomach issues. We complained to management and they blamed it on everyone but them. Don’t go here far better resorts in Jamaica

Couples Swept Away: So Beautiful and Relaxing!

The hotel grounds are beautiful, very lush and well maintained. We stayed in the Garden Veranda Suite and our view was all greenery, it feels like you're in a tropical forest. We had no issues with the noise from the road or tree frogs. The bed was so comfy and spacious. The beach is absolutely perfect! The water is so clear we saw fish, jellyfish, and even a stingray swim up near the shore. The food was OK - was either very good or not so good. There were a lot of people walking up and down the beach trying to sell you things, it did get pretty annoying but by the end of the trip we were able to basically tune them out. The pool bar was a lot of fun, this is where you'll find that the younger couples hang out. Unfortunately we figured this out by the very end of our vacation. The piano bar I found attracted more of the older couples at night. The catamaran cruise was fun, but it wasn't as much of a "booze cruise" as I was hoping for it to be, they didn't play much Jamaican/dancehall music. I really enjoyed snorkling and the activities they put on for the guests everyday. Overall I had an amazing time and would love to come back!

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Fabulous Resort!

This was our 7th time to Jamaica, we have visited many resort all along the North Coast, this was definitely one of our favourite places we have stayed. The grounds and public area were very well maintained, the beach was great we even got to go snorkeling right from shore. The room was spacious and the view was absolutely amazing, the food and friendly staff were outstanding. Older hotel but very well kept Very clean Staff could be friendlier A la carte restaurants are excellent including service Buffet good variety Beech is nice Good activities are on site Tennis mini putt billiards etc.

Dreams Rose Hall: Second time back to this great resort!

Returned as a group with 3 newcomers to this resort because we had such a good vacation there the first time around. Absolutely love the facilities, food & especially the friendly, helpful staff. Best lazy river ever with pool bar & hot tubs & only resort we've been to that allows night swimming in the main pool! The jerk chicken & pork hut & hotel & beach coffee bars with fresh baked cookies are such a bonus. Staff even deliver drinks & snacks to the beach areas & always with a warm Jamaican sm [... read more]ile! My only suggestion would be to purchase more inner tubes for the lazy river as this time around there weren't as many.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Great resort!

This resort is amazing. We had such a great time here. Staff on the resort are so kind and friendly. Very clean. Everything you need on the resort is very close together. No need to walk far distances. Pool overlooks beach. The beach is very clean and water is warm and clear. Would go again.

Jewel Paradise Cove: Not Imperssed

The resort is well staffed and kept immaculate, but my group has stayed at a Jewel resort for now 9 years. There was 11 of us this year, there may have been once in those nine years, that we got a room that we had booked. Every year we recieve a room then have to move the next day or the next, to a room we asked for. This year we did not get a pool veiw room,we ended up in building 5 that is half way between the ocean and a pool in the next block. Food was good.....place was big the only thing that bugged me was the access card would not work at times but the place was great...........................................I gave the correct stars for the place

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Very Nice Resort

We were a bit worried before we left only because we heard from others that one pool was closed along with the main buffet and theater. Luckily for us everything opened by the time we arrived! Our room was perfect,clean,nice ocean view,fresh smell. Our balcony was large but only 2 small chairs and a table.It was large enough for lay out beds but not available even when requested. We ate at two of the a la cartes and the buffet with no complaints. The coffee,cappuccino and ice coffee with rum cream at the lobby bar were all delicious and a must try! I gained a few pounds on this vacation. The staff was amazing! Entertainment staff, Macaroni, Lettuce, Pineapple, sparkles, Chocolate were all amazing! the bartenders and wait personnel are great and work very hard to make sure your taken care of. The cleaning staff are great, Everything was as it should be, very clean and well kept. The only downfall of this resort for me was that I like to be able to walk off the resort and wander around town, not much to do or see within walking distance. Overall our vacation was great and would recommend to friends. Would also return for a relaxing vacation.

We stayed here for the second time Nov 3. Have traveled several times to the Caribbean and many rimes to Jamaica. This is a good resort depending on what you are looking for. No complaints about the food very good and lots of variety. Staff is amazing and definitely go the extra mile. They have a great coffee shop as well. The resort has a lazy river as well as 2 hot tubs and a water slide. As you can imagine it comes with a lot of children. The beach is small but swimmable. The beds are great [... read more] however the rooms are just average and there are only 2 slow elevators to get you up to your room or down to the lobby. Overall it was an average Hotel for a good price. Nothing too bad to say about it. But we travelled with a group so it was more about the company than the accommodations.

Jewel Paradise Cove: Great resort

The resort is excellent. Food is amazing and staff is very helpful. Highly recommend. Only issue was that the room type was wrong and that the A/C broke down (they gave us a fan which was OK). The grounds are well kept.

Jewel Paradise Cove: Nice resort / didn't get what we paid for

The good: Friendly, clean and nice. Would return The bad: paid for a first floor pool side room. Got a second level partial ocean view room. Originally they gave us two guys a queen sized bed so we had to change to two single beds. Flight was two hours late leaving but that happens. Overall I would return but not sure with Sunwing.
