TRS Yucatan: Amazing Resort

I absolutely loved Trs yucatan the staff were fantastic food was great and the resort itself was gorgeous My butlers were fantastic very helpful and informative I loved the daily activities at the pool area and the pop team were fun and exciting can’t wait to go back

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Bahia Xian Ka'an = Great value for 5 stars

We stayed at Bahia Xian Ka'an, this gave us the freedom of drinking and eating at all 4 resorts. Zooming around the different properties and beaches, lots of activities to do which made 7 days feel like 14 days. Food was resort food for most but out of all the buffets Xian Kaan was the best.. Our favorite restaurants were not popular and easy to book Ku'uk and Mashua were perfectly fusion. Ku'uk was traditional Mexican but found a way to perfectly fuse different cultural foods without trying t [... read more]o hard. Mashua was Nikkei style and both were 5 star restaurants. Minor nuisances..musty smell in the rooms suggest moisture issues in walls..however this was trumped by excellent service

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Good resort

Overall we found the resort really nice. We stayed at the Maya Beach but preferred the Colonial. It has a bigger kids water park too. In terms of service sometimes the lines were too long at the buffet and the staff didn’t always come to serve us. Also the times are limited to book the a la carte restaurants which was a little frustrating. The food and drink selection was really good overall. Would definitely recommend this place. The beach had sea weed and wasn’t calm. There were a fe [... read more]w days when it wasn’t too rough and the water was great for swimming but that was only for a few days out of our entire stay.

Allegro Playacar: Friendly Little Resort

The resort itself is small and a bit dated. A/C was cold and worked great. Our smallish room was adequately stocked with amenities. Beautifully located close to the beach for amazing ocean views our room was a bit of an incline to walk up to the nightly buffet/entertainment, it was OK for us having no mobility issues. Entire resort was clean including the grounds, gardens and public spaces. Food was delicious, plentiful and well prepared. We only did 1 a la carte as you had to line up each morni [... read more]ng to request a seating. 2 small pools did not really allow for a quiet area. The activity pool also housed the swim up bar and was full of children most days and was not really an ideal set up for smaller kids in my opinion. The quiet pool was never really quiet either as it held the overflow of kids :). If a quiet relaxing vacation is on your agenda this may not be the resort for you,although for the most part evenings after the nightly entertainment were mostly quiet. Service was top notch throughout the resort! Kudos to all the amazing and hard working staff!!

Barcelo Maya Tropical: Great Vacation in Mexico!

We stayed at Barcelo Maya - tropical with 12 friends for a week and had a wonderful vacation. The resort was clean, food was good, staff were helpful and friendly. We had wonderful service at the a la carte restaurants and buffets alike. We mostly stayed around the pool as it was windy for the first few days but we did get out for a couple of days to swim with turtles. I would absolutely stay here again! Thumbs up!

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Not a 4+ star resort

The lobby, grounds and amenities are great. The rooms are not- they are dated and in need of repair. They also aren’t cleaned properly. We arrived and our first room for tub had a chunk missing, pink mold and the shower tiles looked dirty. There were tiny little bugs crawling on the vanity and it was all dusty. We went down to the front desk and were offered a tour of a different room. It was essentially the same but a little less dirty. Food was ok- lunch buffets were not refreshed so unless you got there early there wasn’t much selection and freshness Beach was beautiful- a little rocky but lovely none the less and minimal seaweed.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Wonderful Resort

The Ocean Coral and Turquesa exceeded all my expectations! The grounds are gorgeous, great pools and have every amenity you’d need or want, including a bowling alley! We were there as a family and kids were beyond happy there. The rooms were lovely and kept spotless. Food was great and lots of choices. Most of all, we appreciated the amazingly kind and friendly staff. They were the best!

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: A 3 stars place with 5 stars employees

The resort property needs some TLC. The pool near the beach was not well maintained. But the employees are caring and very welcoming. If service is important to you, that’s the place. Provided red wine was undrinkable so we ordered red wine a la carte. Mixed drinks were good most of the time.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Not great

Rooms not good Mosquitos in room had to asked to be moved Air conditioning not great Not near enough beach or Pool chairs Beach worse one I seen and we travel quite a bit Restaurants not open certain nights Italian restaurant horrible

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Beautiful!! NO pool/beach Servers

Was really impressed when we arrived. Lobby was great, check in was great. Room is great. My only negative review is that there are no pool servers or beach servers. Not one during our one week stay. You have to either be in the pool and go to the swim up bar or get out of the pool and walk to the bar side. The beach is the same. No servers. You have to walk to the Beach cafe bar area. I have been to mexico almost 10 times and never stayed at a resort where you have to get your own drinks. This  [... read more]is the first time. I mean I am in no fact lazy, just never seen it before.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Gone Downhill

This is my second time to this resort and I was so excited to return after having such an amazing time 4 years ago. I am extremely disappointed with this resort now. The service was terrible, most mornings my partner and I would eat a full breakfast before any server even offered us water. Bartenders are swim up bars were very slow and most wait times were around 10 min for a drink. The staff consistently seemed like we were bothering them. We stayed for 7 days and only had our room cleaned twice even though we put the “clean” sign on the door and left tips every day. I am very sad to say that I will not be returning

Selection Riviera Cancun: Best resort!

This was the best resort I've ever been to! Such professional staff and very well taking care of area/pool/rooms/restaurants. Highly recommend this place for ur next vacation with or without your kids. Lots of food selections for breakfast lunch and dinner! Room service was usually under an hour wait for delivery at anytime of day/night. The restaurants were mostly free food except a few. 10 outta 10 rating and will be coming back forsure

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Dated

At first glance... the lobby is beautiful, grounds are very well maintained. Staff are great , friendly and some what accommodating. And by somewhat... for an " all inclusive " we were hard pressed to get diet pop and water in our rooms- some requested were not even filled with 2 calls made. And when we did get pop ... and when we did get pop it was 2 at a time. Buffet good was ok at best. Al la carts... the best one was Tokyo! Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Not worth the money

We booked with a group for a wedding and weren't in the same building as the other 40 guests. Lots of members of our group had room issues. Staff were not friendly at all, food was nothing to write home about. Many members of our group ended up with bad GI issues while on the resort. I have never been to a resort where there were lines of people waiting to be served at the bar. The pool bar was the worst many people got out of the pool to get their drinks. Premium status meant nothing you were i [... read more]gnored just the same. Entertainment was nonexistent, no music in the pools or activities many people brought their own speakers to listen to music. I do NOT recommend this hotel for the money go to Jamaica where you will enjoy everything about your trip.

Barcelo Maya Tropical: AirTrans At/Barcelo

Not sure how much more I can say about how wonderful AirTrans At and the Barcelos are, both are incredibly professional and so helpful. Barcelos are a wonderful resort and the people are wonderful, can't say enough good things about them and believe me you get your money's worth. And then of course there is Wendy Harrington our trip central rep the best of the best.....

Barcelo Maya Tropical: AMAZING!

this is my 2nd time at the Barcello Maya - i thik this is the best resort ever. Super clean, the beach amazing, food and drink excellent. Serve also excellent. i recommend this resort to anyone. I will be going again, just looking out for a sale.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Amazing resort

The grounds, public areas and pools are just fine. Food was always fresh and there were plenty of choices from seafood and different kinds of meat and salads to vegetarian options. The buffet restaurant was always clean and the waiters and waitresses were always kind and attentive. The hotel was always clean as well as the room. Noseless AC was also a good addition. The only my concern is, but it was very important to me, that during 4 nights some guests who lived close to my room were very nois [... read more]y after midnight and 3 or 4 times on different nights I had to call to the front desk and ask to send the security to calm those guests down. Yes,the security were coming quickly and the noise was stopped for some time but after a couple of hours those guys were starting to shout and yell again. So,as a result my 3 nights were just sleepless. But thanks to the young man Jesus by name who work at the front desk of Barceló Maya who helped me to change my room and the hotel and the rest of my vacation was just fine. I am very grateful to him for his exceptional support and kindness. To my opinion he is the best. I really will be glad to see him again when I come for my next vacation.

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Excellent

We had an excellent time at dreams jade. Serving staff were very attentive and the quality of food at the restaurants was very high. We enjoyed Spice and the Italian restaurant, Miguel who works at Spice made the teppanyaki table a fun experience. The entertainment staff work very hard and really improved our vacation experience, I’d like to mention Saul and Angel for the great work they do to engage with guests at the resort.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Amazing Resort

My husband and I had a marvellous time at the Barceló Colonial. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The nightly entertainment at the theatre was very good. We would certainly recommend it to our friends. We would certainly revisit.

Barcelo Maya Tropical: Family Oriented Resort with Beautiful Beach

We enjoyed our time at the Barcelo Maya Tropical. We were blessed with amazing weather and the beaches were clean with crystal clear water and white sand (end of April). We have travelled to Mexico several times and in recent years have been very disappointed with the seaweed - fantastic to not experience this on our holiday. The Barcelo is a large and well appointed resort. We loved the architexture and abundance of public spaces to relax. Public restrooms were often not equiped and properly cleaned - this was really suprising. Rooms are opened with key cards that often stop working - front desk staff are quite dismissive and not helpful. The staff in all other areas are kind and helpful. Beautiful walking paths and landcaping throughout the resort. We would definitely consider comimg back with grandchildren as there were so many activities for children to have fun.
