Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Honestly Amazing

The hotel grounds are absolutely amazing. Our room was neat and clean. Room service came everyday to clean and replenish towels. Masks were worn in main lobby indoor settings and when walking into restaurants ! I loved how organized everything was. I went with 2 other adults. Buffet not as good as the restaurants which you do need to book reservations for. Bring water shoes to the beach lol. We did thank God. Beach was clean. Overall 4.8/5 ! Loo

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Fabulous place!

We had the time of our lives, highly recommend and will go back again for sure!Every thing was fantastic and we were impressed by the quality of service, beach was amazing, hotel and staff also perfect, thank you so much for all your hard work for making us enjoy our vacation!

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: I'm sure it was lovely

Well unfortunately I tested positive two days before I was supposed to go I never made it to the hotel. Even though we purchased cancelation and covid insurance we still are out the money for the entire trip. Air Transat refused to help us with anything and Trip Central couldn't help either. Very disappointing

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great resort

The service at this resort is amazing and the staff are extremely pleasant. The food at the buffet and at the a la carte restaurants is amazing - could not ask for more! The only thing that is not great is swimming in the ocean - perfect for family with small children, if they wear water shoes, but not so much for adults. The pools make up for it as you can get a quiet spot or a very active one. Really enjoyed my stay

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: A real 5 star two week vacation.

Been to El Portillo several times. We were given the black royalty wristband that we appreciated. We will return to El Portillo. It keeps getting better. We noticed the amazing skills of the staff, very polite, helpful and enthusiastic. Many got to know our names. Buffet…..5 Star….Great selection. Greek, French and Italian restaurants….5 Star Cleaning staff……5 Star Relax Pool…..5 Star (Carolina was the best…so funny and helpful.) Main pool looked nice and was kept clean. The guy there was very polite and very helpful. Bars….good variety and quick service. Washrooms…..always clean. Room…..nicely appointed. Shuttle to and from El Catey was great. Suggestion: Having that program for kids every night was not necessary. Someone yelling over a microphone was hard on the ears. There are hundreds sitting there having to listen to that almost every night. The kids have lots to do without that nightly time period. More singers, guitarists even keyboard music is needed.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Bugs and more bugs

We had bus in our room that caused bites all over me feet and legs the 1incident they maintenance came and sprayed our room the next day we out told someone would be too our room in 15min no one showed up and we waited over an hour. When we went back to the front they asked us too be in our room at 4pm no one showed up. We went back to the forntdesk 2hours later we had a voucher for cream for the bits and signed a release for this incident. When my airline tryed to helpnthey said we signed off in the incident. Trip Central didn't respond at all

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Nice Rooms

We had a great vacation! Our room in the Tulum section was great! We had a 2 bedroom suite- which was a huge room! The resort was busy- only one place to get the breakfast buffet, so it made it difficult to get food. Only able to get 3 al cartes for the week. The food there was much better than at the buffet. Snack Bars- The food truck was ok- food always came out cold. Andale burger was better!! The beach in Tulum was nice. However, It was very rocky and had lots of seaweed. Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Excellent resort

We had an idea excellent vacation at Bahia Principe Tulum. The food was very good, the weather was great! The staff is very friendly including Eduardo at the quiet bar, Juan at the buffet and Gretel as one of the entertainment hostesses. Everyone is helpful there! The rooms and the grounds are very clean, thank you to all!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Bahia Luxury Ambar Punta Cana

We just recently returned from a week's vacation to the Luxury Ambar in Punta Cana and have to say this was probably the best Bahia we have been too.Even though Covid was still out there ,we did not feel we were at risk as the resort took a great deal of precautionary measures .All staff wore masks ,there was adequate space (6ft at least)between tables. Clients were asked to wear madks if you were less than 6 ft.If you left an area it was immediately sanitized by the staff and they even went as  [... read more]far as putting everything into a QR code so that you did not even have to touch a menu. The restaurants were amazing and food exceptional.We had swimup suite with the included butler and had absolutely no complaints on how we were treated or our accomodation.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Nice holiday

Resort is very well-kept. The beds are very hard but they do have pillow toppers if you ask the butler for them. À la cart dinners are very good mind you the Buffet needs some work. You seem to be eating the same food over and over. It is a very long drive from the airport I would not do it again. It is nice to have an activity pool and a quiet pool. The beach is a big disappointment that is full of jellyfish as well.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: My favourite all inclusive to date!

So many good things to say about this resort but first let me dispel some negative comments. The staff (Fatima our fav) were amazing. Extremely polite and very attentive to any requests from the restaurants , bars, front counter etc… in 7 days, we never seen or had a negative or rude interaction. We received the same service if we tipped or didn’t, keep in mind the tradition of tipping is at the end of the service. Bring lots of US $1 bills. The room was clean and no issues… we needed an extension cord and it was delivered in less than an hour. Cleaned every day. I accidentally left an envelope with about $30 usd on the dresser for the day and it was there when I got back. I should have put it in the safe. Very honest cleaning staff! The pools and activities were fun. It says no pool chairs can be reserved, like all resorts that say this, you still can and do it and no one says anything… get out there at 6:30 am! The sea weed on the beach is expected, it’s that time of the year and nature. Some tips: 1) on the fay you arrive, book your restaurants immediately. Brazilian restaurant fills up fast. The Japanese one is amazing, reserve the seat by the grill so you get a show. 2) book a group bike ride early so you can see all three resorts and where the Casino and market are located. 3) when buying something in the market or Playa de Carma (sp) barter with the merchants. If they offer $30 usd, you should be able to get it for $15-20 at the most. They love to highball to start with. 4) Pool chairs, see above comments. 5) lunches, all kinds of locations. We found an amazing lunch place called the “Truck Stop”, near villa #29. Best chicken wings ever for medium or hot. We will return!

Entertainment was great Staff very helpful and friendly Rooms were great and cleaned daily Restaurants were superb The beaches were beautiful and the staff cleaned the weeds daily. The coffee shop was a daily routine with us and besides the cappuccinos and lattes they also served up great snacks and desserts

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: To BIG

I have been to this resort many times from only two sections to the now 7 sections. They can't enlarge beach area so the beach is crowed. The pools are large but most days there were no free lounges to be had, guest hog the lounges at pool and beach , they must feel special since they don't have problem saving lounges when they don't intend to use most of the day and management doesn't seem to want to enforce the NO reserve rule. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: My happy place! 😊

The staff are very professional and seem genuinely happy to work there while working extremely hard to please all of the guests! The grounds and pools are very well maintained, along with the public areas and washrooms. The food was great, and the desserts were amazing.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: 10/10

This was our first time in Mexico. This resort was absolutely amazing. It was so clean, the staff was so helpful and friendly. The beach was a bit of a disappointment because of the size and the coral. But it was also very clean. This will be our destination for years to come

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Pretty resort

This resort is a four star. Food average, the reservation system for dinners poor, trying to get a spot on beach and pool a real challenge even at 6 a.m.. Lack of English speaking staff makes communications very difficult. Butler service should be proactive not upon request. The positives are beautiful resort, room comfortable, pool service excellent. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Good resort

Have been to this resort many times prior to the pandemic. Having returned last week I had certain expectations that weren’t met. Service is no longer great. They appear to have less staff and although they are trying they can’t keep up with servicing everyone as expected. Food options although still ok it’s no longer the same. Beach area is crowded and if you want to get a good spot you have to get up very early before sunrise. Staff do wear masks but guests are not following any protocols. The resort does staff do not enforce the protocols. Personally I was comfortable with this but others may not be.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Would not recommend

Definitely not a five star, language barrier a real problem. Running out of things every day and having to get up at 5AM to get a spot by the pool or beach is just crazy. All the good ala cart restaurants were already booked on the day we arrived. Could not get a hold of our so called butler.

I have been in this resort more than 10 times and this time I wasn’t very happy about the resort. Food selection was down grade from previous years. Rooms were done just enough to sleep. Drinks very scarce not many drinks available and not many people serving. Taking too long to bring drinks to table. Nobody at the beach to get a drink. Night shows very poor. Not enough action around the resort.
