Riu Playacar: Great resort!!!!!

The resort was very clean, The entertainment was amazing. The day crew was very interactive got people involved. However the air conditioning in our room would not go lower than 23 degrees. In the summer that is not cold enough. Our kids rooms air conditioner was working better. Called for service they never came, called again the man showed but did nothing. The Japanese ala cart was nothing special. Did not enjoy the Italian. Mexican and steak house were very good. Very close to playa del Carm [... read more]en, actually ended up eating out a few nights. Beach was INCREDIBLE!!!! Beautiful with palms all over, plenty of chairs.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Safe and beautifully landscaped

This resort is very well maintained and has adequate staff. Food was very good with a lot of high quality items in the buffet. The only drawback were the tiny ants in our hotel room, but we were ground floor and I suppose it was to be expected but there was a lot of them. The transportation to and from the airport was well organized and easy to navigate ( I travelled by Transat). The beaches are beautiful but have no waves due to wave breakers installed just beyond the swim areas.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great stay ...exceed our expectations

100% worth every penny. We had a great time and were very impressed with staff and services provided. The little trolley could become a bit of an exercise in patience but ...you're on holiday, what's your rush?

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: awesome resort, rocky beach

Impressed with the layout and the size of the resort. The Service was good for most part, people were rather helpful and spoke fairly good English. The water in the beach was relaxing and beautiful, but the beach was too rocky. Way too many rocks in the water, making water shoes a must. The pools were well placed but the water was way too warm, not cool and refreshing like a pool should be. My biggest complaint is that somebody picked up two of our towels by the pool the day before we left and on checkout, they charged me a ridiculous $28 US EACH. That really turned me off, as if I knew the beach towels had to be returned on check out, would of handled it another way, but they wouldn't give me a clearance to board the bus till I paid that $56 US total...UGH..... I don't know if I will ever visit that resort again, because it left a sour taste in my mouth.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Exceeded expectations

Having arrived unsure of precisely what to expect, my husband and I were very pleasantly surprised. Grounds were fabulous...little touches like maintenance painting the outdoor light posts most days (but not in an invasive way) made the difference. Food at Sian Ka'an was delicious and 9 times out of 10 staff went above and beyond to assist. Also worth mentioning...mosquitos aren't nearly as bad as I had expected (for a hotel in the "jungle") plenty of iguanas on hand to control populations. Not sure if I was fortunate due to minimal rain but I used insect repellent twice the entire trip, my husband who is normally mosquito bait, came away with 5 total bites! Overall, very pleased! Can't wait to return!

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Best Trip Yet!

We stayed for our Honeymoon and could not be more thrilled!!! The service was beyond phenomenal! Everyone that worked at the resort was constantly smiling and genuinely looked happy to assist. The food was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be going back just to try all of the al a cartes. We heard beaches in Mexico could be disappointing, but not here, there was no need to rush down at 6am to reserve spots, the water was great and that beach was stunning. The pools were also great. Riu Palace Pacifico: Amazing Family Vacation

We had an amazing time at the Riu Palace, The resort was clean, staff were friendly, hard working and great entertainment. Great food with constant snacks and food available at the pool. The beach, the waves were incredible. We would definitely go back.. We also took advantage of the free Access to other hotels such as Riu Jalisco and Riu Vallarta. spent the morning in each resort and enjoyed lunch. The one things that parents should be aware of is at the Riu Palace the pool was a little d [... read more]eeper than my kids were used to and didn't really have a shallow area. We ended up buying floaters and they were fine, It also encouraged them to swim and practice..

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Good family resort !

This is a great family hotel, if you don't have kids I would not recommend it as they are everywhere LOL However, the hotel grounds & rooms are very clean. Service in buffets and restaurants is great and there is lots of variety at the buffets although there is no air-conditioning in the main enclosed buffet, with the heat in Mexico and considering there are meats, fish and even sushi left out it is a must ! Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Great resort!

We had a great time staying at the Blue Bay Esmeralda. The staff was amazing. The food was incredible. Our room was very clean and modern. Our room was a 10-15 minute walk to the beach but there's a little golf cart shuttle that will bring you there. The beach itself wasn't the greatest but still ok. Plus there are two large pools close to the beach as an option. There's always a large variety of activities to do there. I liked that Playa de Carmen was only a 15 minute shuttle away. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: A perfect stay!

This hotel is amazing. I knew we would have a good stay form all the review we read, but it was over each expectation! Staff were nice and funny, hotel is really clean. The room is beautiful and the road to the beach is really not a problem! We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel! Tammy from Tripcentral was really nice also, she answered all of my question really quickly every time!

Riu Lupita: Very good resort

This resort is quite nice. Don't get fooled by the photo as the beach is at RIU Palace. The shuttle runs every half hour until 6pm. The staff is so professional. RIU Lupita is exceptionally clean. The only problem: the main pool - water way too hot. The rooms are super clean. The beds are comfortable and the linens are crisp white. Please note that there is no radio clock, no coffee machine and no iron and board in the room. It was quite challenging to get an iron. No washing machine o [... read more]n premises. We had requested a room on the main level but gave us a room on the second level. They apologized but was too late. The food was excellent so was the service. Daily activities around the pool are basic. Music somewhat boring. We took the free shuttle to 5Th Avenue every evening and came back by taxi. This resort is very safe as you have to show ID bracelet before entering RIU Lupita. Remember - you get what you pay for but this was a nice getaway for 6 days.

Grand Sunset Princess: it was a relaxing place. The pools were wonderful and relaxing. you can be with the crowd and you can swim and relax without feeling board or tired. the food was good and the rooms clean and big..

rooms were clean and well organized. the activities not bad, need variety of activities not only for adults but for children too. lots of walking which is not bad, good exercise. lots of stairs and not much elevators specially at the Lobby where the theater, some restaurants and the WiFi. where we are tired to go up. The resort and the pools are clean always I like to go back for the pools but not the stairs.

Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Wonderful Getaway for 2!

As soon as we arrived we were greeted with the simple phrase of "Welcome Home", and from that moment on the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and relaxed our entire trip. The grounds and pools were exceptionally clean and the food was beyond our wildest dreams. Every meal was better then the next. Our tastebuds danced for joy at the great flavours and the presentation was lovely too. We also enjoyed the lovely surprises our Royal Service Butler provided to celebrate my partner's birthday; balloons, a hot tub for two, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. This was the best trip in my books and I couldn't have asked for anything more. This hotel set the bar high and I will be a repeat customer in the near future for sure.

Moon Palace Cancun: Overall nice resort

Beautiful resort that was well maintained and exceptionally clean. Rooms were nice however beds were very small not 2 queen size so not ideal sleeping for family of 4. This was huge resort that seemed like 3 resorts in one. It might not be ideal for elderly and with really young children if you want to explore all the restaurants at 3 sections. Our kids really enjoyed sunrise and nizuc kids club. The sunrise kids club was amazing! A la carte and buffet restaurants were very easy to g [... read more]et into if you go at 6pm. If you go after 7:30pm it was very long waits. The time spent during check in process was atrocious and needs improvement. Beach was beautiful and did not smell like seaweed as I saw in other reviews. There was seaweed in water but my family still went in and enjoyed. They had huge tractors that tried to remove some seaweed.

Finest Playa Mujeres by Excellence Group: Very relaxing resort

The grounds were beautiful and beach was clean hourly. The food and service was first class. The room was comfortable and clean. The morning biking was a great start to the day. The beach service was fast.

Riu Tequila: riu tequila

Fantastic beach with perfect balance of shallow and deep water. Clear water and clean beach. Great for a long walk on white soft sand. Excellent , huge restaurant on the beach . Enough beach chairs and natural shade. Riu Tequila is definitely outdated , but still good compare to the price. 800m walk to the beach. The only complaints , there is only one beach shuttle which doesn't even goes the whole day.

Riu Tequila: RIU Tequila

Fantastic beach with perfect balance of shallow and deep water. Clear water and clean beach. Great for a long walk on white soft sand. Excellent , huge restaurant on the beach . Enough beach chairs and natural shade. Riu Tequila is definitely outdated , but still good compare to the price. Food is desent, lots of fresh fruits. . The only complaints ,the hotel is 800m walk to the beach and there is only one beach shuttle which doesn't even goes the whole day.

Ocean Maya Royale: Amazing resort!

Service and food were the best part, best I've had in all inclusive. There was water front and beach but a board walk took more then half of the beach area. That's my only complaint, overall my gf and I had a wonderful time

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Amazing Resort

Definetly the best resort where we have been. It is our 10th consecutive year in Mexico- we go twice per year- never back to the same resort. This would be the first one where we would go back again and again and again....The pools are a dream- nice, clean...huge...and warm; the beach is absolutely perfect.
