Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Amazing Resort !!!!!

I travelled to this resort from Jan16-23 2015 Such Beautiful well groomed grounds. The entertainment staff were excellent always keeping you engaged. The Michael Jackson show and the Circus acrobatic show are the best. The food was always fresh and plenty to find to eat, the al la cartes were very delicious especially the Takara ( Asian ) The rooms are all renovated and the cleaning staff are very friendly. Only one thing to watch out for the sand fleas on the beach.

Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: Awesome resort

When we first got there we were greeted with a cold towel and a refreshment drink. The staff were so friendly the lobby was clean. The beach was amazing. However the rooms weren't the spotless and little on the older side. We were asked several times have we booked our dinner reservations and is everything good. I would go back to this hotel

Blue Bay Villas Doradas: Enjoyed this resort

Intimate, well laid out, clean resort. The rooms are nothing special but had lots of hot water and great water pressure. The food is very good and the staff and entertainment are top notch. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Loved the swim up bar pool. The vendors on the beach are annoying and the water a little dirty at the shoreline.

Grand Bavaro Princess: Nice vacation

This resort was very nice! It was clean, several staff available to help you with any questions. the food was great! We had lots to chose from all the time. Our suite.. That is what impressed is... It was gorgeous! Clean, modern and very spacious! We loved it!

Ocean Blue and Sand: Enjoyable time at Ocean Blue

From the time we arrived at the Airport and arrived at the hotel all staff were wonderful.. Air transit great flight !!!! We were well looked after amazing clean rooms, beautiful pools and fantastic À la carts. We will be back !!!!! We would highly recommend this resort Great for the family.

Grand Palladium Palace: Great Resort, wonderful staff.

Jan 16-23-15. Very nice resort, staff was amazing, from wait staff to maintenance very officiate and friendly. Grounds were beautiful, pools great, food was very good. All 16 of us had a great time. The beach was kept clean and there were always chairs to be found, poolside as well as the beach. Resort was big enough but not too big. Really enjoyed the adult pool just to sneak off for some time on our own.

Coral Costa Caribe: Disgusting!!!

First off, we have done three resorts in 18 months...Punta Cana...Puerto Plata and last ly Costa Caribe...Santo Domingo...Please save your money and pay extra to go somewhere else...we decided to take a last minute trip and call it our Suck It Up trip. So not worth it...we should have just spent the money and went somewhere else. Firstly the travel from the air port took 3 hours as we had to drop others off to other resorts and a local to another town! They assigned us our room it was damp drapes were hanging off the the wall and bed was on the floor....sheets were so wrinkled and gray stains on the comforter...thought this was a joke! waited til four in the morn to be assigned a room until the next morn....luckily we talked to a manager and he put us up in a room near the ocean...was not what we expected but was better than the others...no hot water in the sink and the shower was just trickling from the hot tap...manager said the whole hotel was like that....Food was terrible no variety...just horrible all around. Only a few staff smiled the rest looked depressed. Funny the vendors on the beach were very friendly and not pushy...they smiled so that was nice! We got beach towels when we arrived however we had the same ones for a week because everytime we went for a clean one they said "thirty minutes" lol...what a joke...if you walk the beach it looks like all the other resorts are closed no business.. i asked a local what was happening they said Costa Caribe wanted to build new but they cant afford it so they a running a low cost run down hotel instead...not a four star like trip link stated..will never go through Nolistar again ... looks like a hand me down resort...please dont waste your money or dreams or time here....lots of locals stay here because they need the customers...for sure a SUCK IT UP VACATION...learnt lesson...spend more go elsewhere dont go cheap....

Blau Natura Park Resort: Blau natura

Rooms were in severe need up maintainable and upgrading with out dated furniture, poor decor and lack of any finesse . The grounds and beach were clean and in good condition at all times. The staff were devised between extraordinary and other that did not care! The good out weighed the poor ones by far. The restaunts were never busy but could not gt reasonable reservations

Coral Costa Caribe: Not a Hilton Not a four star stay away

The grounds are poorly kept. The hotel could be beautiful but needs a lot of money spent on it, it may have looked like the pictures shown by the tour operators at one time but is in disrepair at this time. There is no comparison to the pictures on the tour site. The rooms are large but poorly maintained and not clean. This hotel rates a one star only because of the beautiful ocean that is is built in front off. The staff try's but are overwhelmed by the amount of work and the hours they must wo [... read more]rk. Poor management, poor service, poor food. I traveled to Porta Plata in the dominion Republic a few years ago and everything was much better except for the ocean . I have traveled to many area's in Cuba and their food, hotel and service was very very much superior to what I had to put up with at this place for shame Hilton. Again for shame Hilton and for shame Trip central for subjecting me a loyal user of your site to this horrible place. I would never recommend this place to an enemy let alone a friend.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Beautiful Vacation!

Visited Punta Cana from January 6th to the 13th. Beautiful resort!!! Beach was wonderful! Staff was amazing! Enjoyed the a la Carte Restaurants a lot!!! Definitely recommend excursion to Saona island!

Occidental Caribe: Great Resort

Really enjoyed this resort: close to brag, awesome ocean view, good food, never over-crowded. Room always clean. I'd recommend as a good place for a week; two weeks may be long for food variety. I'd go back here.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Excellent Resort

We totally enjoyed our stay. We were close to beach & pool & had access to other buffets, so had lots of choices of where to eat. At first we found resort overwhelmingly big, but very easy finding our way around. We'd definitely stay there again.

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Good resort

The resort was beautiful and extremely clean. The room were very clean but could use some updating. The entertainment staff were great but the entertainment could be better. I found that after the evening show, there was nothing else to do on the resort. The food was good but there were periods of time during the day between meal times where no food was available. Also, you couldn't take food to the beach or by the pool. If you wanted to eat you had to go into the buffet restaurant or the Oceal  [... read more]grill. This was my first all inclusive so I don't have any other resort experience to compare it to but I enjoyed it and would definitely go back.

TRS Turquesa: Great resort

Good location, great beach, awesome service and great food. Been there twice and also to bavaro & palace.Would return again and the swim up are great.New pool and bar ,butler was great and was able to do all reservations to restaurant.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: amazing resort

Great resort. Had the Diamond club booking (great service) which gives room close to beach n Mexican restaurant. Pay more but worth it. Get up to 4 bookings at a la Carte :) - Le Gourmet was best. Buffet good selection. Beach excellent, clean. Find chairs close to beach bar by 745am for good selection. Staff friendly overall. Did excursion to Saona Island - fab day - bring $ for massage n photo package. bus service is excellent throughout resort! Caribbean party fun $ Privilege club is bothersome when I want to spend time on beach not getting sales job and get calls at room. Stay away from the people in lobby who want to 'give' free stay/gifts. they get painful.

Occidental Punta Cana: Awesome Resort

Occidental Punta Cana is simple wonderful. Yes the rooms are dated but very clean, quiet and beds were comfortable. Your not in your rooms much anyway right?. The food, service, beach and everything about this resort made for a terrific holiday.

Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: beautiful location

Just returned from trip Jan 15 th to 23 2015. I have been to a variety of Cuban locations and this was my second trip to DR, first trip was to La Romana. I found combination of beach and reef shoreline a beautiful contrast visually. Always a spot in the shade when needed up on the reef. No other place like it. The Surf rolls in with waves that are great fun for all to play in, or watch as others attempt to body surf. When the Casa beach filled up we simply went next door to the public beach was  [... read more]larger and peaceful ie no music or beach volley ball game going on. Staff work hard to please and always amiable. It appears the Casa is two resorts put together as one, no problem gives the resort a large footprint. Howevver the beach portion of rooms are a bit farther from ammenities, but possibly quieter. I paid the extra for a "superior ocean view" room which got me on the ground floor facing pool side and ocean view patio door opens on to our own deck, very handy was 200.00 extra. would be perhaps in the reef section. While very handy for teens, but very close to pool as well, toddlers not so great. These rooms can be facing pool activities, people and staff with trolleys going past your window, some would consider this a bit noisy. The Garden view rooms would not be for me, as some garden rooms simply face the next block of rooms with 100 foot grass and vegetation strips in between, but you do have a patio or balcony. .The room blocks are 4 stories high the stairs could be an issue if elderly or carrying toddlers back and forth. There are ways to request a certain type of room ask your travel agent. we went in high season the resort was full, but never a line up a meal time or excessive at the bars. If you stomach is sensitive walk into town and buy a supply of bottled water, this goes for any island resort, not just Sousua. Overall the trip was fun, if your 4 or more look into renting a car for the day and exploring on your own, flew on Sunwing they were great too.

We had a few issues with the room, but it was resolved and they were apologetic. However, my husband gave a ticket for a towel, to my sister, and the front desk manager was extremely rude to him and threatened him with a $25 fine. He should not be in the hospitality industry. However, the entertainment staff were wonderful and worked very hard to entertain us.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Not the best vacation spot

I really do not like complaining but here goes!! Very nice and clean but pools need upgrading, beds were impossible to sleep on, food was disgusting and most of the alcoholic drinks were not appealing. On our last day we had a worker wanting to change the curtains walk right into the room while i was changing. Our door was shut so how he got in was beyond us. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: very clean resort

Do not go there for tbe wine. Otherwise resort was amazing, clean and staff was amazing. Did not restock fridge as was advertised, but otherwise everything was very clean. What else do you want. must stock chardonnay.
