Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: Wonderful resort, as expected from IB!

Well maintained resort. Beautiful grounds. Lots of pool chairs with shade available. Nice to be able to access a la carte restaurants on demand. Upper deck lounge a nice option to sit and watch the wonderful sunset. Staff friendly and helpful. Resort great for those seeking a quiet experience. Would return and definitely recommend.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: very nice last minute vacation

The grounds were lovely and though there were a lot of stairs it was easy to get around. The resort is very compact. Nice beach. The room was just fine, though the balcony is very small. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was fine as well. Food in the buffet was exactly the same every day t every meal - quite different from other resorts. The a la carte restaurants were hit and miss with Bambu and the mexican restaurant being wonderful and Ribs and more and the Portfino being quite poor ( cold foo [... read more]d, not properly prepared). The birds in the snack bar/open side of the buffet are quite off putting as you watch them peck at unattended food and leave their droppings all over. That all being said, the staff were all amazing! Wonderful service and exceptional staff.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Great all adult resort.

Nice to have alternate pools, quiet for those wanting to read and a bar pool for those who wanted a party atmosphere. Nice to have no reservation requirements for their specialty restaurants. Great 24 hour room service.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Excellent Service - when can I go back?

Absolutely perfect holiday with the best customer service I've ever had. Staff are very friendly, eager to help and top notch on customer satisfaction. Really can't wait to go back next year for another amazing holiday

Royal Solaris Cancun: Great resort!

The resort overall was great, no complains! The food was amazing, entertainment was fun to watch, the rooms were pretty modern as well! The only thing was all the activities and games were by the pool

Royal Solaris Cancun: Geat trip

The staff was awesome, met fantastic people. They could redecorate the rooms. Pool and ocean kept nice and clean. Price was right, great deal at this hotel. Entertainment staff are lots of fun and entertaining.

Ocean Maya Royale: Good Value

This resort was well maintained. Clean rooms and facilities. the grounds were well kept and around the pool was very nice. Not enough shade around the pool though as you cannot move umbrellas. The food was pretty good, the snack bar near the pool had amazing burgers! The a la carts were quite nice. I found it took quite a while to be seated if you went to the buffet. I also feel like it took a long time for the wait staff to come and offer you either water or a drink, but that was only at the bu [... read more]ffet. I just feel like they were maybe under staffed at the time I went. The entertainment staff around the pool were great. Really tried to get people involved, and the foam party on the Friday was a blast! the maid stole a pair of shorts and a shirt from me, which was very odd, but other then that all the staff was good and the over all experience was a good one! Not somewhere to go with a bunch of friends, its more of a couples resort I found.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Relaxing and fun!

My daughter and I went with a friend and her daughter for an adult getaway. We stayed here for a week and I can tell you it was all luxury! Our butler Timothy was fantastic and really addressed our needs. He made our dinner reservations as we requested and even had to change a few around. He greeted us warmly everytime we returned to the hotel from an excursion. Any request was granted no matter how small! Thank you for making our vacation so special! I was concerned before we went about taking trolleys everywhere but it turned into a lot of fun and in the end was no bother at all. We visited other resorts in the complex- went to Akumal to enjoy the swim up bar, went to Tulum for the fantastic animation team! We stayed far from Coba as we were trying to enjoy a childless vacation. Rooms were fantastic and didnt have that "mouldy" smell most Carribean rooms have. My clothes came home smelling nice! The pools were clean and warm as well. We had a very difficult time finding 4 loungers the day we decided to stay at Sian Kaan. Being a regular at high end resorts I found this to be truly lacking. This was the only time we could not find a seat together. We had no issue at the restaurants, buffet etc. Even in the packed hour at breakfast there were tables available. The spa was great as well, very serene and relaxing for a small spa. Olga was my masseuse and was top notch and clearly knowledgeable about her profession. I wish I had went earlier in the week. I would have gone back a few times.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing Resort!! Highly Recommended

The atmosphere of the resort is amazing and the grounds were well kept. Only thing I would say was a little bit of a let down would be the food it was top not but it was still good. The staff on the resort were always friendly and willing to help out in anyway they could when asked. I definitely recommend this resort to anyone wanting to visit mexico

Marival Emotions Resort and Suites Riviera Nayarit: Marival had it all for us!

Our very first contact person upon arrival was Gabriel, who was remarkably helpful, consistently through our stay and until the very last day. Our 1 bedroom suite was exceptionally clean & immaculate. The Mexican Restaurant had excellent, personable servers. Guacamole is made fresh at each table and a Mexican coffee is prepared with flare in a dazzling, impressive, entertaining show. Our 3rd, a la carte restaurant was La Pergola, great for breakfast or dinner. All red meats were tender and cooked to perfection in all of the a la cartes. The Buffet was perfect for breakfast. Lunch & dinner offered similar variety each day. Swim-up bar and pool bar service was professional, fast and personable. The beach was wide, clean, warm & with waves perfect for body/boogie board surfing. The pools were exceptionally clean. The landscaping was admirable. The entertainment staff (anamacion crew) had a wonderful, easy going sense of humour on stage that was contagious to the audience. The M & M bar was a favourite, often with an amazing, professional pianist in the background. The only con was that the grade of the wheelchair ramps around the Buffet were too steep to manage even with assistance. All in all, this resort had everything to offer for a memorable stay that would beckon you to return. As mentioned above, there were so many staff members, too countless to name them all, that made the Resort a 5 star for us. Thank-you to the friendly, accomodating staff of the Marival. You are 5 star people all the way!

Iberostar Selection Playa Mita: 2nd visit- great resort!

Great resort! Travelled as family with a 2-year old. Amazing hard-working people, very friendly. The only issue I had was not too many vegetarian choices at the buffet. We had a standart room, bathroom was a bit small.

Selection Riviera Cancun: Amazing resort

Best food and cleanest hotel I ever been to, you can see all the staff they try their best to service you, had wonderful experience the only negative is we arrival at 10am and did not get in our room till 4pm vs 3pm.

Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort and Spa: Amazing Resort, Great Bang for Buck!

The resort is not too large or too small, just right to be comfortable with adequate pool space and sun chairs without having to fight over. Nice decor in the rooms, the food adequate, the staff friendly.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great vacation at Luxury Bahia Príncipe Sian Ka'an

Four of us went for one week at the end of May. We had a wonderful time. It was nice to be able to dine at the other resorts as there were only 2 a la carte restaurants a the resort. The private beach was very nice!

Moon Palace Cancun: Clean, Nice Staff, Fantatic

Food was amazing, staff was great, and the room was clean. It was a little far from some of the items, so there was a bit of a bus travel on the paid trips, but really was a great time. Although the resorts are split up, the bus's are always there to pick you up.. You're never waiting more then 5 minutes.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Our best all-Inclusive yet

My Fiancee and I stayed at this resort the first week of June 2016 and had an excellent time. We found the resort itself to be well designed and well cared for. The staff were are very friendly and helpful. The buffet had a good selection of food and of a high enough quality that I often found myself going back for a second plate despite my waistlines objections. We received 3 a la carte restaurant reservations and while the food was good it wasn't much better than the buffet so we didn't mind e [... read more]ating most of our meals there. The beach is probably the only downside to this resort. It is sandy and kept very clean but there are large wave breaks a little ways out in the water which prevent you from getting much deeper than waist high in the water or playing in the waves. On the plus side if you had children you wouldn't have to worry about them getting destroyed by the waves which look to be quite aggressive beyond the wave breaks. However, even inside the breaks there are large rocks here and there. The resort is also kinda in the middle of nowhere so if you want to go shopping in an authentic Mexican market you will have to find transport off the resort. They do have a resort market set up but expect to pay much higher prices then you would find off resort.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Fantastic resort with a terrible beach

The rooms were clean, the food was great. They had many restaurants to choose from. I liked festival the best as it was fully covered and the selection was great. The pool area was sooo big and beautiful with plenty of chairs. But the beach was absolutely terrible. If you walked next door to the right of the hotel (facing the ocean -right) their beach was great. We went there one day.

Riu Santa Fe: Great time. Fun resort but....

Had a great time, rooms excellent and clean. The buffets were good lots of selection. Grounds well maintained . Friendly service at bars and buffet. Pools are lots of fun but..be aware the two small pool bars at front of building 7 tend to be loud and full of partiers occasionally the odd person (s) tend to get out of hand. The other pool bar in middle of resort tends to be more relaxing. Also be aware only building 7 has elevators. Top floors in other buildings are four stories high....Lots of  [... read more]stairs.....Don't swim in ocean bad undertow. Otherwise a great bang for your buck otherwise

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: can't wait to go back

this is a beautiful resort! We had a blast vacationing here with our 14 month old. The staff and grounds are very well suited for family travel and everyone was extremely accommodating. I found the food delicious and above what it typically is in resorts. I highly recommend this resort!

This resort is huge! There is so much to do and see at this resort. We were greeted with friendly and kind people and the check-in process was simple and quick. The lobby of the resort is beautiful and really catches the cultural landscape. The rooms are spacious and clean. There are so many pools and each has its own entertainment. The staff at the resort were friendly, helpful, and prompt. You could not ask for more from a resort.
