Barcelo Maya Tropical: Bad experience

One bad experience can completely ruin a country for some of us… we absolutely hated our experience at the barcelo maya tropical! From the staff to the food and even the bar! Brutal! Upon arrival we didn’t feel a welcoming vibe from any of the staff members. Rude staff at the outdoor buffet! The food was brutal! When you think of Mexico, you think of tacos… and zero tacos! No taco carts anywhere! Nothing! They started turning lights off once the restaurants closed 10pm… no option for food af [... read more]ter that! The bar closed at midnight! If you want to drink after midnight, you’ll have to go to the shared mall (shared between the 4 resorts) but you have to pay for everything at the mall! The beach is very rocky… a lot of people put their towels on chairs at the beach and at the pool but then they leave the resort and screw people out of seats! I would never go back to Mexico again after this experience

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing place

Beautiful place, well kept grounds, clean and comfortable rooms, food outstanding, friendly hotel staff, pool was fun, lobby bar outstanding, well made drinks everywhere. Beach a bit of a trek but non stop shuttle aka fun little trolleys take you so no problem and was fun getting there as you got a tour of the other resorts associated with this one. Beach busy and had to arrive early for a nicely situated chair but oh well no big deal. Beach a bit rocky but not a deal breaker. Resort is family o [... read more]rientated and great for families. Would return in a heartbeat. Good value. The only complaint is the distance from the airport which is 90 km away

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great vacation at Sian Ka’an

Wonderful stay. Staff were excellent. Nice smaller, quieter resort to relax and unwind. Getting from resort to resort on the trams was easier than expected. Never a long wait. Beach is the only downside as it appears to be shrinking overtime but was still enjoyable. The a la carte dinners were excellent and the setting at Katok beach steakhouse was great. Loved the Italian and Japanese restaurants in particular. Ku’uk and Alux were good as well. Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Amazing resort

We went in May, the weather was perfect! If you want the best of so much selection of activities, entertainment, delicious food, great service, friendly staff, cleanliness is top notch, lovely rooms, beautiful views, this is the resort to go to May

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Excellent choice

The resort was well planned out. Friendly and helpful staff. Great variety and abundance of food choices. A-la-cartes were exceptional. We are beach people, rather than pool people, but we did notice that there weren’t any loungers or chairs around the pool. Only had the canopy beds which people scooped up in the early morning hours so if you preferred the pool, and you didn’t get up super early (5:00am), you didn’t have anyplace to sit. Loungers on the beach we’re plantiful.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Best all inclusive in Mexico

This is our 5th time to a bahia principe hotel. 3 times in Mexico and 2 times in punta Cana. Clean, helpful friendly staff. Lots to do. Great entertainment. Went last time with 5 children. Lived the Waterpark in coba. We will be back. 5 star all the way

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Resort is amazing!

Food is good, activities are good. Especially those young fellows work on the swimming pool, they organize people join aqua activities. They are very hard workers. But the house keeping no good. The didn't refill the supplies. For example: we have no bottle waters we have to ask bottle water from swimming pool counter

Riu Latino: Great Resort!

We had a great experience at Riu Latino. The resort is beautiful. The grounds are really clean and well kept. We enjoyed the food at all the restaurants, the Italian was our favorite. The staff were all very friendly. Would highly recommend a stay at this resort. We will be back!

Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta: Location, location, location

The exterior of the hotel was exceptional, right from the lobby, pools, snack, shacks, and adults only swimming pool. Upon arrival, there is a breathtaking view from the balcony that allows you to see the ocean. I was most impressed with the bistro that served a variety of specialty coffees and sandwiches. One of the snack shacks offered a more western cuisine, such as french fries and hotdog. While the other one offered a Mexican flair which included fish tacos, and nachos. I really enjoy the daily activities that were offered which included yoga/stretch, stretching, a guided beach, walk, aqua size, and guided bike tours. Uncertain occasions, there were activities to keep you entertained such as Bingo, Easter shows, fire dance shows, and circus entertainment. Depending on which type of rooms you got, it could be absolutely fabulous or one that you would consider changing. I did not realize it, but the room I had was not in the best shape. It was dated and needed a lot of upkeep. The shower was turned in a way that left pools of water in the bathroom, so kept the room fairly damp and humid. The air-conditioning worked great and it was quite comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked very well in around the area and especially great near the lobby. The à la carte restaurants did a fabulous job at providing food that was different from the buffet.

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Beautiful Resort

We had a swim out in Building 1 which is away from the main pool. If you want quite this is the building to be in. Been to many resorts with swim outs and this is one of the best. Rooms are clean and spacious, and the house keepers were prompt every day and super friendly. We went to the a la carte restaurants in the Platinum side and Grand Riviera (family side) and they are all decent, didn't do back to our room hungry. Buffet was good for breakfast but lunch and dinner not so much. Food at the [... read more] beach grill for lunch was amazing. Service from the resort staff was amazing as usual in Mexico. Be aware of the Codi's (Mexican raccoon) they are everywhere. Don't really bother you but will open your patio doors if not locked.

El Dorado Seaside Palms: Great Resort!

This resort is beautiful, the grounds are immaculate and lush. I believe it's the staff that make this resort so good, everyone is friendly, kind, and so helpful. This is a large resort with frequently run shuttles to take you to wherever you want. In general the food was great, from the al la cartes to the buffets, the food was fresh, hot and delicious! We had a beach view room which meant we were steps to the sand. Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Very nice resort.

The resort is very nice, with a good selection of food and well-maintained grounds. However, the rooms and bathrooms could use some updates, as they have been in use for the last 25 years and are showing signs of wear. The pools are the nicest I have ever seen—very clean and spacious enough for the kids to enjoy safely. One downside was being transported to the resort in an old van from the airport, and the driver asked for a tip. Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Terrific Resort

Amazing service, great food, all rooms are ocean view. Small resort which we like. No reservations for à la cartes is a big plus. No towel card scheme. Lots of chairs and sunbeds. 3 infinity pools plus one bigger pool. Snorkeling right off the resort.

Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Hotel: Horrifying

We all got a very severe Gastro virus from this resort. I have submitted a claim for you to help us with. The staff were not helpful and we all ended up admitted to the hospital in Mexico except for Diane. It was the worst trip of our entire lives. We are still recovering and thank God we made it back home.

Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Hotel: Horrifying

We all got a very severe Gastro virus from this resort. I have submitted a claim for you to help us with. The staff were not helpful and we all ended up admitted to the hospital in Mexico except for Diane. It was the worst trip of our entire lives. We are still recovering and thank God we made it back home.

Crown Paradise Club Cancun: Great resort for family with kids

Everything was great except food. There was less variety compared to Riviera Maya hotels in Cancun.the spa centre doesnt except USD cash which was unexpected. We paid with credit card and paid extra fees for conversion.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Satisfied!

Hotel stay was great!Room was clean and staff was excellent. Great location and maintenance was immaculate. There was always something to eat and we enjoyed all of it. Many pools to choose from. Beach had lots of waves but enjoyed the water. Staff were friendly and helpful!

Ocean Coral and Turquesa: Great time

The grounds are beautiful and the rooms were very nice a large. Great staff and easy to get around. A la cartes were much better than buffet, found this lacking, however never went without. Beach is the downside as there is heavy seaweed and no amount of work can remove it. Not their fault. Pools, oh the options!!!! 4 pools depending on your level and it was great!

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: The best trip

I came to the hotel from may 2-9th and it has been one of my best trips ever. The hotel was extremely well kept and everything was beautiful. The beach in-front isn’t perfect since it’s a bit wavy but the one a couple minutes walk down the beach is beautiful. The pool was amazing and always so clean. Food was the best from any trip i’ve been on in a super long time. Specialty restaurants are great. Only slightly negative thing is lines for drinks can be long at bars sometimes but that’s to be ex [... read more]pected with such a large resort. Overall a 9.5/10 i’d 100% go back again!

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Beautiful Resort

The room was very nice and a good size. We had a huge balcony,we were in the adult only building. The grounds were well manicured. Our agent Martine Reid was excellent. We will always book with her. The food was good but hard to make reservations at the ala cartes.
