Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Great experience,

Hotel was excellent , food best in DR yet, Very impressed by their introduction of elimination of single use plastics and water filtration system. First hotel ever to offer face clothes daily and ice machines.

Iberostar Selection Coral Cancun: Fantastic Resort

Beauty hotel, awesome grounds, well manicured common areas, pools and beach front. Room service and accommodations was a fantastic experience. Restaurants and Buffet were excellent. Nightly entertainment was top drawer. Enjoyed our 10 day stay to the Max .

Iberostar Waves Punta Cana: Amazing resort

This resort was lovely, the grounds were so well kept, the room we had 5155 was great, close to the pool area with a garden view as well as ocean view. The food at all the restaurants and buffets was delicious, something always for everyone. The beach is beautiful and always lots of choices for chairs and palapas. We loved that the Iberostar company is working hard with their wave of change to help with the effects of climate change. Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: fantastic resort

This is one of the best resorts we've been to. Every thing is so clean, the grounds and the rooms. The room smelled so nice after it was cleaned. We love that they are into recycling. All the staff are extra friendly. The management personal were always checking on everything. The food was extra special. We like to see the Staff sitting down at meal time and eating, laughing and just talking to the guests.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Terrible restaurant, even for Cuba

We have stayed here SIX times. The food was one reason we returned. Many things were missing on their menu. Salmon, shrimp, lobster, lamb, one other fish and a desert item, no longer serving Canadian beef but something that resembles a chew toy. This is their show case restaurant at the resort. They charge other people at the resort 50 extra pesos to eat there. The sea food specialty restaurant was also closed part way through the week. Entering the last part of January should be their peak  [... read more]season. The rooms are nice. The beds are comfortable. The staff is the hardest working people you will ever meet. This is their third manager in three years and in my opinion, the worst. We will not return.!

Iberostar Selection Coral Cancun: Amazing Resort

The Iberostar Selection Coral Level is fantastic and ranks at the top of the many hotels we have stayed at. Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are fantastic and well kept. Room service staff are amazing and housekeeping is fantastic. It probably has the best food I have ever eaten in the Riviera Maya. It is always fresh and the menu options are delicious and different daily. I would recommend this hotel resort to anyone wanting an amazing stay

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Very elligent and food amazing

The only issue I had was the coffee in our room— Hard to get cup into slot until shown. Other than that amazing except for weather Thanks again Rod. Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Nice resort

The hotel was nice, food was decent for a Cuban resort... there were always a few basic things missing like lemon for the fish or ketchup for fries but not a big deal. The staff made our trip, everyone was always happy and wanting to do their best to help. Thank you Tammy for booking our last minute trip

Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Worst resort in Varadero

We have been to Varadero almost 10 times, and stayed at several different resorts, and this one was horrible. The service was the worst; we paid over $400 on the 3rd day to switch. Best decision we made.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Great Resort Will Go Back

Our week at the Iberostar Rose Hall was great. We didn't have the best weather but the staff more than made up for that. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. They made us feel so welcome. The only down fall was the food at the buffet. The food was good but did not change from day to day. More variety or even a theme night would have been great. It was "same old same old" every day.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Great Resort

Resort was wonderful, small resort easy to get around. Rooms were good, food was excellent for Cuba. Only thing was the wind, great for Kite surfers, but not beach lovers. Maybe the beach is not so windy in peak season.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Would do it again!

This was our second stay at the Iberostar Paraíso del Mar, And once again, it exceeded our expectations. The food has so much variety and is always delicious, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Service is also amazing. The only negative thing we noticed this time versus the first time, was there were less drink servers around the pool. But a little walking never hurt anyone and it isn’t a reason to complain. Absolutely one of our favourite places to be and reconnect.

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Great resort- sucky music

This resort is beautiful. Lovely grounds. Great people. Chris Flower, Dina and Marybell were awesome people! Lovely colourful resort with great people. Animals in the resort great. Beach view room was awesome and the place was keep really clean. Bad: 1950 music!! The music is awful. It's way old. You dont enjoy the lobby because of it. It's too bad because your on holiday and would love to hear lively music.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Nice resort

We enjoyed our stay at Iberostar Laguna Azul. Beach is beautiful and so are the pools. Daily entertainment last about 1 hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon. They do all the different activities during this hour and after that there is nothing. Food was ok we always found something to eat. We saw the change in food and room cleaning and daily activities as they worked for the survey. For example no towel art and on day of survey we got one. No fresh veggies and on survey day there [... read more] was brocoli and coliflour and lobster. On survey day they had more games to entertain people. We wish that hotels would always have same service and entertainment and quality of food on a regular basis and not only on survey week. Because people pay to go on vacation and expect the same quality weather its survey week or not. This is for every hotels and every country not just this one. We see the difference in every department when they are expecting the survey. And they get it every 2 weeks. So hopefully you are there on survey week. One last thing is that it is smokers paradise. So if you are non smokers you might not like to be in smoke everywhere you sit. The only place was in restaurants where no smoking is aloud. Also there is no free wifi and it's only available in the lobby or theatre. We met nice people and specially our waitress Elizabeth at the buffet restaurant who was always very welcoming and provided the best service.

Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach: Excellent resort

We had a wonderful time at Iberostar Rose Hall Beach. We liked everything about our experience: the grounds and facilities; the beach and pool; the friendliness of the staff; the buffet and a la carte restaurants. We especially enjoyed the variety of items at the buffets (both the main one and the one near the dive shop where we had lunch daily) and the inclusion of Jamaican dishes and fruits and vegetables. We requested a room change and this was facilitated with superb efficiently by Romaine.

Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites: Just OK

The property was beautiful, the entertainment was well done and the food was good. However, the English communication was very poor amongst the staff. We had trouble several times getting the information we required. French is certainly the preferred language after Spanish. Also, as the resort seemed to draw a large number of smokers and smoking was allowed everywhere it was very uncomfortable as non smokers being around a lot of cigar smokers as appears to be the custom for many. Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: One of the best Dominican Resorts!

Having just returned from the Iberostar CD, we were so impressed by the resort that we plan to return soon. It is an eco- friendly resort and works diligently to protect the environment. The beach is fantastic, large and free of litter. We went on a standard package and found the amenities well above other VIP packages elsewhere. It is a large resort but pleasant to walk through. The evening shows were primarily resort staff participants and luckily, we usually don’t attend them anyway. I must [... read more] compliment our concierge Jose who was so very kind to us. There was no pressure to purchase upgrades or packages. He was truly a gentleman. The food was superior to many of the resorts we have visited in the DR. Wait staff were very attentive and actually saved your favourite table each meal. The entire staff was kind and hard working. Bar drinks and staff were also excellent.

Hotel Mojito: Disappointment for an Iberostar brand hotel

Traveled to Cayo Coco from Dec 24-31, 2019. We are booked into a superior room, and the original room given, rm# 2214, had no electrical sockets that worked, TV didn't work, toilet flushed slowly, no toilet paper and empty mini fridge except for 1 bottle of water. There are not enough drawers for our clothes. I killed a big cockroach the very first night, so I had to make sure our bags were all zipped up. I thought I could just get someone to fix all these the next day. By morning, I had to [... read more] move to a new room! I tried to call front desk but no answer so I walked over and asked for a room change. I was told to wait for 20 minutes, but 3 hours later waiting in the room and still no one showed up. After 4 and a half hours of going back and forth to front desk, I finally told them I had a sick kid who needed to get some rest in a proper room was I able to get the key to move. The new room provided was great because everything was working!!! So my question is that if there was a room available that was fixed up, why give me a room that wasn't ready for occupancy in the first place?? The christmas eve food spread was ok. There was lobster, but that's the only thing to mention. The rest of the week was the same food. I have been to Cuba and know what to expect, but this time it was just way below the threshold of acceptable. There are a handful of people to give credit here: Leidys, Maidel, beach bar Roberto, morning server at the lobby bar and the lady server by the pool restaurant who always had a smile. I also have to mention that the onsite staff nurse was incredibly compassionate. With 2 girls sick at the beginning of our vacation, she was always checking on them, even came to our room the next evening to make sure the girls were ok. Cayo Coco is a beautiful beach, but I don't think I'll be staying at this resort again.

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Wonderful resort

We both loved this resort. The food was amazing and the staff were all very helpful. The beach was beautiful. Big waves but lots of fun. Would definitely return to this hotel and would recommend it to others.
