Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Good resort

The hotel was nice and clean. Grounds were perfect and nicely groomed. Food was very excellent. Only negative was buffet wasn't very big , but had what you needed. Rooms were spacious and clean as the room fridge was stocked regularly. Pools were clean and had games going on most of the day. The shows at night were really good. Better then I'd expect. Props to all the star friends for putting on a good show and taking care of all the guests to keep them busy.

Sun Palace Hotel: Exceeds all expectations

Everything was superb and the staff at the hotel made it even more sensational. Every couple deserves a vacation like this. We'll be back again next year. The dining, the view, beach, rooms, spa, service and the pristine cleanliness made it a fabulous holiday.

Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Friendly atmosphere

Colorful resort with very courteous staff. You are greeted with smiles in the morning and throughout the day. The food is great at all their restaurants.Would be beneficial to everyone if more basic English was spoken by more of the staff including the room and bar attendants. Tips should be seen as a bonus to your work and not as a requirement of service. There should be cushions available for the pool loungers, otherwise this is a good place for relaxation

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Beautiful Family Vacation

Stayed at the Maya Colonial, beautiful resort. Exceeded our expectations. Gorgeous beach, crystal clean water. There were some rocky spots, but the water is so clear you can avoid them. Pools were huge and never felt overcrowded. Plenty of activities to keep 3 active teenagers interested all week. Food was great, lots of choices. We purchased the Wi-Fi for the week for 45.00, I was skeptical because all the negative reviews I had read on the horrible Wi-Fi connection, however for some reason we  [... read more]never had an issue. The kids had to share the login code and it could only be used on one device at a time. We were told by guests services that we could only get connection in our room, lobby and restaurants, but they got connection on the whole resort even at the pools and the beach. While I realize we spend a lot of money to be away from the technology it was nice to still have that connection and the kids were respectful of our time together. Stayed April 2016

Hotel Dos Playas Faranda: Great value

This resort is great value for the price. In no way was my room luxurious, but I wasn't looking for luxury. It was a comfortable stay away from home. The grounds of the resort is absolutely beautiful and the beach is fantastic.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Beautiful and amazing resort

This resort was stunning, lush palm trees, great food, excellent service, very clean and maintained. Out of all the Barcelona resorts, the Colonial was the best, fewer rock and better beach. All the immenities were at your finger tips and localized.

Hotel Dos Playas Faranda: Second time visiting......last time visiting !

We stayed at Dos Playas back in 2008, it was ok, but last week on our second visit, it was terrible. We booked again 7 days all-inclusive, me my wife and daughter: Arrived last Monday-only 2 towels in the room, 2 bottles of water, we phoned reception - we still waiting for them till this day. Tuesday-they never cleaned our room so again no towels, no toilet paper and a blocked toilet, Wednesday-no towels no water, no toilet paper, the toilet was blocked again. Thursday-we left for Xcaret at 7am, [... read more] came back around 11:30pm, exhausted, we were locked out of our room, they changed the locks on the room doors in the hotel, what a joke, they replace locks that are still good, but there is no face cloths in the hotel, you need to wait for towels out of the tumble dryers because there is a shortage, they remove our 2 chairs on the balcony and stole one of our personal beach towels, after speaking to one of the guest service ladies of the hotel the towel make its appearance the Saturday. The Sprite cool drink at the beach pool was not working the entire 7 days. The food has no taste, every day the same food, every day the same desert, terrible terrible terrible, no service from the waiters, no napkins and cutlery on the outside tables, my wife asked the waiter for forks and knifes, he told her go get herself on one of the other tables inside. There were no Whisky or Brandy in the hotel, only Vodka and Beer. The entertainment is much better than our last visit, nice shows every night especially the aqua show in the swimming pool. Last year we went twice to Flamingo, first time also was ok, that is why we went back, but the second time the same thing happened. Also, we always go around February, this year we went in April, never again, the hotels, excursions are all in Spanish, and even the tour guides spoke only in Spanish.

Selection Riviera Cancun: Very clean and modern

Perfect week, weather, resort was modern and clean, food was gourmet. Staff were friendly and hard working. They did everything they could to make your trip great. Room had king bed with excellent mattress and jicuzii spa.

Buenaventura Grand Hotel and Great Moments: Great location, amazing service!

The staff at the Buenaventura were the best. I would definitely go back to this resort and would recommend it to other people. The only thing that I can many be say that was wrong was there were some loud frat boys that were obnoxious and annoying but it wasn't the resorts fault.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Very nice. Very big. Very Busy.

If you like big spanding resorts with lots of nice things to look at, this is for you. If you want a more personal experience with attentive service not so much. Not enough staff to handle the demand. For the most part everyone is friendly but too busy. Beach is narrow and on an incline but clean and nice enough. Tough to enter the water in many areas. Pools are all nice. So busy we could only get very very late dinner reservations. Its like a small city here. First timers will love it for sure. [... read more] After a long travel day, its a long drive and check in. Very beautiful grounds!

Dreams Riviera Cancun: We had a great week

The beach area around the beach chairs could have been much cleaner,, lots of straws, cigarette butts, bottle caps etc. There was lots of sea weed but the staff did the best they could to stay ahead of it.

Sandos Playacar Beach Resort: Best place on earth

This was our second time at sands plya car and like the first time there IT WAS GREAT!!!!!, the staff was always there to help with anything we needed, the grounds were well landscaped, food and drinks were great and the beach and water was second to none, I would recommend this resort to anyone, I will be there again before to long, it really is the best place on earth

Royal Solaris: Awsome week at the Royal Solaris

We had a wonderful week at the resort. The hotel is well maintained and the staff is very friendly. Our room was upgraded to ocean view with no additional fee. They do have a timeshare staff that can be quiet pushy. We arrived later at night and they had already left for the day. My biggest complaint is that there is not enough shade on the beach and pool. If you did not get up early enough they were all gone. You cannot swim in the ocean; however the pool is right on the beach. The food was g [... read more]ood and plentiful. This resort is about 30 minutes from Los Cabos. They have a bus for $3 US a person that will take you into town. Overall this resort is good value for the money

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Very nice Resort

The staff was amazing they could not do enough for us. the resort was small and very clean. The only issue we had was the quality of the food, meat was tough, always cold especially the buffet. Not my first resort and never experienced food being so cold and for a Secrets resort we expected much better. I would not return for that reason and if I did recommend to anyone I would make sure they were aware of the food issue. Several guest expressed the same about the food

Posada Real Ixtapa: Family friendly place.

The Posada Real was awesome. Its a great place to vacation. Its a small family feeling place. All the staff remember you easily and go out of their way to make your stay a great one. It gets real busy on weekends with locals so I would advise tourists to head out and do excursions and sightseeing on the weekend.

The Reef Coco Beach: Not for a young adventurous crowd

Key points from the hotel: very clean and staff were amazing. Food wasn't great and you have to pay for 2 of 3 a la carte restaurants. It is an extremely tiny resort, therefore night life was essentially non-existent. They had a show every night (not very good) and after the show it was a ghost town. The beach had boats docked at all times so no catamaraning and no beach volleyball either. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it unless it's an older couple who wants to lay around the pool all day. Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Very nice

Loved the service and the food was amazing, the suite was clean and housekeeping service efficient. The shows are no good if you are going for that, forget it. The beach is not very nice, but at a walking distance you can get to a very nice lagoon or a very nice beach. The service staff is really friendly. We loved our stay! Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: was nice, clean, modern resort

grounds and all area were very nice and kept, was all very picturesque!! Our family enjoyed the resort, especially the pools , the food was great, all the employees were excellent!! Will definately like to return!

Hacienda Buenaventura Hotel and Mexican Charm: Great place to stay!

This hacienda had a very quaint and authentic atmosphere - cozy and comfortable. Many Mexicans frequent this resort over the weekends for a three-night stay - family friendly. The beach spot was easy to get to and the restaurant there very good. The food and service was very good (missed having ice cream available). The location was within walking distance to bus stops, Walmart and Soriana (grocery). I would recommend this resort.
