Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Beautiful Resort!
This is a beautiful resort. Well laid out and accessible for all, so if that's on your list of needs, this is the place for you. Check in was quick and painless and our room was ready right away. The room was excellent. We were just in a standard junior suite and it was perfect for the two of us. The open concept washroom is odd, but wasn't an issue. Staff is the best we have ever experienced. So fast, friendly, accommodating and good at what they do. Food was also excellent. Great variety and [... read more]
Riu Emerald Bay: Beautiful resort
Well the weather and construction was the only main issues we had Unfortunately there is nothing we can do with the weather but if the pools were heated some we would of been able to enjoy them a little more. most of our times was spent on the beach The construction with the elevators was the worse just the waiting time for an elevator was insane, at one time we waited for 6 elevators to go buy before we were finally able to get in one to come to the lobby, and at another time we were in t [... read more]
Riu Caribe Cancun: RIU Caribe In Canccun Mx
Here's the good, the bad and the ugly: The Good - pleasant and (sometimes) helpful staff. Can't say much about the front desk staff though. Very clean hotel but disappointed there are no in-room coffee makers for our morning coffee. Drinks were ok. Only 2 specialty restaraunts open - the Steak house served a great hamburger but their steak and chicken were absolutely horrible - dried out tasteless steak and under-done chicken that was like chewing rubber. The Pizza place by the beach served awe [... read more]
Riu Cancun: Not a 4 Star
The hotel is definitely not a 4 Start as claimed. No room service! No coffee machines in the rooms. Food needs improvement! Different named restaurants yet have access to only one buffet! Poor management. Our door was kicked down during our stay at 3AM. We had to move to another room because the door frame was completely broken and the room door could not be shut!! We were advised by security the management would be in touch with us the next day. No concern for us at all. Very poor management!!!
Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Beautiful resort!
Beautiful , new hotel. However, they should have an adults only section. Children were even allowed in the swim up pool bars. The food was good especially at the buffet. We were not impressed with the other restaurants because of the lack of choices and some were not opened every day. The best part of this place was the excellent beach which you could walk for miles. It's an upcoming area with lots of new resorts being built. I would not go back here unless I took my grandchildren.
Riu Negril: No problem mon!
We enjoyed just about everything about this resort. It was very clean, and easy to get around, we were in the first building so close to everything and steps from the beach and beach bar. There are 4 buildings so if you have a hard time walking, ask to be closer to main building. The beach was really nice and saw lots of fish snorkeling. The vendors walking up and down the beach were not pushy at all and very friendly. There's not too many of them either so you don't get bothered all day or anyt [... read more]
Riu Guanacaste: Amazing resort
Very clean resort, staff working around the clock cleaning. Pool was amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was incredible, ate at all of the restaurants never left disappointment. Would recommend to anyone.
Riu Palace Jamaica: Great Resort!
The rooms were very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Pillows, not so much.. The grounds, beach and pools were all very nice. The staff and food was great, except for the coffee. The coffee was very drinkable, just not my favorite.
Riu Guanacaste: Beautiful resort
The resort it’s very nice clean with good services in all areas from the staff. Long sandy beach therefore not many long chairs available and not very easy to do kayaking cuz the red flag is almost every day even with small waves. Many food choices fresh and good quality
Riu Guanacaste: We have enjoyed every minute of our stay!
Such a beautiful hotel, gardens and beach. The food was excellent, the staff friendly, professional and helpful. We had a wonderful time and we hope to be back again. It's the perfect location to rejuvenate mind, body and soul. Although we have truly enjoyed our stay, we would suggest to modernize and give the hotel a little bit of upkeep, especially when it comes to the room doors, metal keys should be replaced by with electronic card keys for convenience and added security. Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Awesome Resort
This hotel is beautiful. From check in to check out everything was great. I had asked for connecting rooms for family members prior to arriving. We were given connecting rooms on the first floor overlooking the pool. I can honestly say I don't have any negative comments about this resort. The staff was always friendly and attentive, the room and hotel were exceptionally clean and the food and drinks were consistently awesome. We visited Cabo and had a great time. I definitely would visit t [... read more]
Riu Negril: Very nice resort.
I have to say that i did stay at the RIU in Ocho rios a few years ago . The food was amazing there. But in Negril the food was not as good here . But other that that it was a very nice hotel. We enjoyed our stay , but a long ride from the airport !
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Good trip!
Overall it was a good trip. Good food. Good service. Good night club. Close to Atlantis for the casino and more nightlife. No complaints other than the lack of any substantial late night food. It’s an adult resort geared towards night time fun but doesn’t give any late night food, other than stale burgers and hotdogs that need to be microwaved.
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Good value
The service was exceptional and everybody was so nice. The hotel room was clean. There was a big selection of food. The a la carte was first come first serve and often at 6 o’clock, there was no more seating left. The buffet was better than the restaurants with the exception of the steakhouse. The lobster was great. The bar/night club is 24 hours but on Saturday night the DJ left at 11:30 pm and there was no entertainment at all that night. There is not much in respect to entertainment [... read more]
Riu Palace Antillas: Amazing resort
The resort was awesome from service ... food and service from the hotel staff. We would have a nightly recap... the staff always recommended a drink that we may enjoy. The hotel manager was always approachable and friendly whenever we walked by. Very professional and friendly... Thank you
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Wonderful Stay!
This was a fantastic resort to escape to. My husband and I had a great time. The staff are friendly and so accommodating. The hotel is so clean And the beach was beautiful. The only negative feedback is the smell of the lobby. It is not because the lobby is not clean ,they are constantly scrubbing and polishing and visually it is beautiful. I do believe it is the water that they are using to clean with that has a sewage smell to it. There is no doubt about it that there is an odour when you en [... read more]
Riu Flamingos: Great Resort and Experience
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Rui Jalisco. The facility is excellent with all the amenities and entertainment one could ask for. The food selection was excellent and I particularly enjoyed the themes in terms of food, events and performances. There appears to be a shortage of staff in terms of the hospitality aspect. The service provided by the staff on duty was friendly, efficient and thoughtful. They almost “ran†to keep up, hence my comment. Thank you for an excellent holiday. I w [... read more]
Riu Republica: Truly a 5* resort!
The food quality and selection was unbelievable, the grounds were spotless. Short drive from the airport, 3 swim up bars, good entertainment, twice weekly off resort sponsored (free) parties, great friendly staff and a beautiful white sandy beach. Just be weary of the waves, thos area of the beach is a little rough. Would definitely recommend!
Riu Palace Paradise Island: Beautiful clean resort!
Four of us travelled to Bahamas for the first time and absolutely fell in love. the resort, rooms, food areas etc. were all super clean....thumbs up to the staff. The food was INCREDIBLE!!! We just couldn't eat enough of it.....eat eat eat:) The beach was breath taking, the water a perfect blue. We would all stay at the Riu Palace Paradise Island again....just longer next time. 3 nights definitely was not long enough. We fell in love with this resort and Paradise Island!
