Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Great resort !!

I have been to this resort 3 times now. Amazing location lots of pools, snack bars, and bars. The beach is fantastic. Only complaint is the rooms. They definitely need to be renovated but honestly never spend time there so it’s not the end of the world. Everything else was amazing!!!

Playa Costa Verde: Relaxing vacation

Playa Costa Verde was a great resort! Approximately 1 hour bus ride from the airport. The beds were comfy and our room was looked after with excellent care. I liked that the resort was a little smaller and a 5 minute walk got you anywhere you wanted to go. Everyone that worked here was so warm and welcoming! Between the a la carte restaurants and the buffet, we never went hungry! Lots of food to choose from. I chose this resort so we could snorkel off the beach and it didn’t disappoint. Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Will return

For the money, a great trip. Sure the resort is a bit dated, but all the staff were very friendly (and not fake friendly, but genuinely welcoming). Food is perfectly edible contrary to what I’ve heard about Cuban food. The resort is quite large so even if there’s a lot of people you don’t seem to notice because everyone isn’t packed on top of each other. We didn’t go there expecting a 5 star resort, and it’s not. But it has its charm and we can’t wait to go back.

Brisas Guardalavaca: Brisas Guardalavaca is awesome!

We had a wonderful time at Brisas Guardalavaca.... our beach view room was clean and spacious and we woke up to the sun a slight breeze everyday!! The pool side areas had entertainment and a swim up bar, lots of activities and fun for all ages, the ocean beach was amazing with water activities and snorkeling from shore!! We enjoyed the variety of food options, buffets, al le carte dinners, and snack bars! Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Amazing Vacation

Our stay at Feista Americana this n Holguin was amazing check in was a little crazy however it was up hill from there cozy beds all the a la cates you want no reservation required a great plus the food was wonderful and the staff well just like family. Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Very nice resort!!

Fiesta is a beautiful resort, with pretty flowers lining the walkways. The beach amazing, food not bad you always find something to eat. A la carts good at least the ones we tried. The Pools were nice and the water was warm. Main lobby was very efficient, Servers are fantastic. Entertainment at night not bad. Daytime activites not the greatest, however the animation crew was great.

Playa Costa Verde: Great Resort

Playa Costa Verde is a small resort with everything you need. This is our second year. The food was good for Cuba but not as good as last year. People are great and some have great sense is humors. The only fault is the rocks in the water at the beach, but on the other hand it makes snorkeling awesome about 100 feet right off shore. Mosquitos are terrible. Not everyone seems to be bothered but I definitely was. Huge itchy red bumps.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Wonderful vacation

Lovely resort very nice staff best snorkeling beach we have ever been to. Resort needs some TLC but it was clean and comfy. Food was good best meal was at the Italian restaurant. My only concern is they need to replace the baby cribs as we had 2 that were broken for my grandson we ended up having to tie one together to make it work as they had no more to give.

Playa Pesquero: Amazing resort hotel

It's our 5th time at this hotel. Beautiful resort, amazing people and staff, from check in to check out! Room service was excellent the buffets and restaurants were very good. The VIP dinner was kind of cheap compared to the years before. All the staff from reception area, to waiters and waitresses to gardeners to bar tenders etc. were extreme nice and polite and all speak at least English or French or both languages. We love this resort and recommend it to others. One more very important thi [... read more]ng, it is so safe you wouldn't worry a second about leaving your personal things on chairs and going to swim! PS: some younger trainees are working with personnel. Don't leave personnel objects or things like chips, peanuts, or cigarettes on the desk or out of your luggage. My wife was missing one pack of cigarette and a bag of chips (bites and bites). Each time we spoke with the room lady, the trainee could not look at us and was avoiding contact.

Playa Pesquero: Overall Amazing Resort

The staff gave excellent customer service, the amount of food and beverages were provided very almost unbelievable generously, the washrooms need at least a fan and are mostly clean, the pools were perfect temperature and clean, I got sick once from eating a lot of prochuitto but had pills for diarrhea thankfully so be careful, the food was decent - fish and chicken were the best, mojitos and pina coladas and coffee and chocolate drinks were amazing, papaya and mangoes were ridiculously good too [... read more], I was most shocked with how friendly the staff were and how genuine they were. I would definitely go back. The AC in the rooms weren’t enough during the day but good during the night - very cold actually. I went in August and would avoid doing so again because of the heat. The ocean was great for swimming and you could see fish too in terms of its clarity. Overall excellent family vacation for relaxation. There were good tours from the resort too which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Brisas Guardalavaca: Love this great hotel.

We have returned to this hotel many times because all is what we want- great staff, beautiful beach. extremely clean everywhere. & good food. If you need anything. the staff will do whatever to help you out. We would return tomorrow!!

Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Relaxing vacation

This hotel is a combination of 2 resorts - luna and mares. I was happy to a choice between a quiet side and a lively side. The nightly entertainment was enjoyable. Food fairly standard, and o.k.. Most people enjoyed the grill and select your own pasta. Pools and lobby areas are immaculately clean. One disappointment I had was the air conditioner was too cold and there was no way to adjust it so either on or off. Basic beds on the first floor mares side. Club Amigo Atlantico Guardalavaca: Beautiful beach I always found something to eat. And when I didn’t like the buffet I went to the snack bar.

We stayed in the Villa section which I definitely recommend. Quieter than the other sections. The beach was wonderful the room was very nice. If you are looking for a quiet vacation this is not the place I found it very loud. The entertainment people were not the best. I was told to meet then one morning at 8:30 AM for a hike they never showed up and when they did they said it’s a bicycle activity they were doing that day I was not impressed. And when I didn’t like the buffet I went to the snack bar.The countryside is beautiful I went horseback riding with a guy named Michael he drives a buggy if you want to find him he took me to a cave which was incredible.

Brisas Guardalavaca: Guardalavaca weather perfect!

The villas were a good choice and we had the same villa three yrs. in a row! In the hotel we ate some meals and listened to the 7 pm concerts.They were over booked but seemed to have room for all. The food was so so and we booked reservations when possible.The Italian restaurant being the favorite.Only once did we have tasty turkey breast.Will never order beef again as the chefs do not know how to prepare it. Fresh fruit was limited but cucumbers and tomatoes tasted home grown.

Playa Pesquero: I expected more than I actually got

I love Cuba and It was my 5th visit to this country. This hotel lack of entertainment and food. I came to this place looking forward for fun and relaxation. However, on the second day of my stay, I got sick. I couldn't eat or drink anything. Buffet had a limited variety of food and It was not good.

Playa Pesquero: Great resort

This was our 3rd time at this resort. As usual, the staff, restaurant workers, bartenders were kind, and always ready to go that extra mile to make our holiday relaxing and most enjoyable. This resort always provide a wonderful choice of restaurants . The beach is excellent, lots of shady areas and a good supply of loungers. Trying the catamaran ride is a must. Lots of fun. I’m already making plans to return in a few months.

Very clean resort, staff are very friendly and will help you with any questions. The grounds are kept clean and the beach is very spacious. With a few mini little beaches around the resort. I found the food good and was beyond the expectations I had. Never went a day hungry. Overall a 5☆ 7 night stay and will be returning.

Sol Turquesa Beach: Average resort , great staff

You get what you pay for when it comes to this resort . It is definitely more of a 3 maybe 3.5 star resort . The food was not great what so ever , but to be expected in Cuba unfortunately. The hotel was overall clean and the staff were super nice and friendly . The beach was nice but small and usually had lots of seaweed around . Sol Rio de Luna y Mares: Terrific time

This is our 5th time at this resort and once again, we had a terrific time. The resort has a lovely sandy beach, the food, drink and entertainment are very good and the staff is excellent, very friendly.

Sol Turquesa Beach: Good time for our young family

This resort was well kept. We have been to different parts of cuba, but this was our 5 year old sons first trip. The only thing I could say bad about our stay was some of the other guest attitudes. We had upgraded to superior diamond club, and we appreciated the extra space and perks. The staff was great, and we enjoyed that the resort was spread out and walking was involved. Cigar bar was nice , beach great , food better than expected, drinks cold and sun hot. So many places to visit still, but I would return if the opportunity presented it self .
