Grand Palladium Vallarta: Fantastic family resort with exceptional service!

Very clean, very well staffed, great food(especially the Mexican food), fantastic kids club...Karla is the best. We loved the fact that the kids club gives you a radio so they can get ahold of you immediately if your child is upset. The resort is so kid friendly with beach toys to use, wonderful water park, breakfast with Rags the resort mascot and many more kid friendly features. Riu Palace Pacifico: Fantastic resort

Dining: All the dining rooms were fabulous, whether buffet or fine dining. Staff friendly yet very professional. Food was excellent. Accommodation: Very clean and comfortable. Housekeepers great. Poolside and beach area: Very clean and neat. Plenty of lounges. Friendly staff kept us well supplied with cool drinks. Entertainment: As much as anyone could want. A great value.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Royal Decameron Complex

The hotel is great but the safes in the room are way over priced and have paid for themselves a thousand times over. Rooms are ok nothing fancy, pillows need to be replaced. Any maintenance issues are dealt with promptly. Nightly entertainment is good. Food is good. Staff is friendly. The package to go to the Royal Decameron is becoming too expensive to go there anymore. There has been no improvements to justify the increase in cost and long time customers don’t get any financial break or pr [... read more]eferences.

Barcelo Puerto Vallarta: Amazing trip BUT...BED BUGS!!!

Our family was having an amazing vacation until we were talking to others at the resort that kept waking up covered in unexplained bites. Asked the Air Transat rep and he confirmed the resort has a bed bugs problem and advised to sleep with bug spray on. We were terrified that we could bring something home in our luggage so we stopped to have our bags checked by a bed bug sniffing dog (Patches from Winnipegdog.ca) and found out there was something in one of our bags. Had to throw out the suitcas [... read more]e but it could’ve been a whole lot worse. The resort itself was great but having bed bugs is completely unacceptable for a 5 star resort! Stay away!

Canto Del Sol: Awesome vacation

Great place for a vacation. Close to marina if going on a boat trip. Beach access, 2 pool areas, friendly staff, really enjoyed our stay here. Only negative is the smoking area on the beach which if you want to go to the beach you cant avoid the second hand smoke.

Grand Sirenis Matlali Hills: LOVE, LOVE LOVE!!!

My husband & I were there for a week with our dear friends. The food was fantastic. The grounds are beautiful. Loved staying in the hills. Lots of good walking, to try to ward off those extra calories from the delicious poolside cocktails. With a shuttle to take us off to the beach multiple times during the day for our ocean fix worked well for us. We were in building 5, 4th floor, with an amazing view of the ocean. We were close to the adult pool, which had a coffee machine opened at 7 am for more coffee. Each morning I would see the staff cleaning the pools and organizing the deck. Jose was very friendly and helpful. Leo, our concierge was very accommodating and friendly. There are constant shuttles to take you to your reservation if you happen to stay by the pool a little longer, and need to make your reservation. The bands by the main pool each evening were wonderful to listen to. There is also a band at the beach, was also fantastic. At the moment, there are no showers to rinse off at the beach - they are working on that. There is food, bar and this is a part of the all inclusive. We took a taxi (cheap)into Sayulita one day,wonderful seaside town, great shopping, and Bucerius great shopping as well, and Puerto Vallarta, we had lunch at PiPi's, a few blocks back from the water, but delicious authentic Mexican food, the margaritas are so good and huge!!

Canto Del Sol: A Great Time!

Second time at resort. Service was great. Food was great. Could use a bigger drink menu. Evening entertainment was ok. Could use more entertainers and bigger variety of acts. Hated fact that all pool and beach chairs were reserved so early despite having “No Reservation” signs everywhere. Didn’t think it should be necessary to get up at 7 am to reserve a chair. People should be MORE CONSIDERATE!!!

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Friendly

The resort was very clean and safe. Staff were very helpful.no problem getting around as most people were able to communicate in English and understand my poor Spanish.my only dislike was the saving of beach chairs by using towels or floaties, and the chairs being unused for the majority of the day.

Las Palmas by the Sea: pleasant resort

rooms were not great, but clean, staff was excellent , food was poor service very good, pools were good, bar tenders were great, more wi fi area needed, rooms pool area etc. more English tv channels would be nice. had a good time,will probably be back again. close to downtown is a nice feature.

Crown Paradise Club: good Resort

Nice rooms.Grounds always clean and staff constantly working on them. The only thing sadly lacking to me was the food . There was a wide variety but always the same. Quality was below average. Ate only at the buffet in the morning and a couple of nights went out to eat mostly. Staff were all very good and hospitable. Beach is excellent and spent a lot of time there. Grand Palladium Vallarta: Great Resort, but a terrible front desk

We stayed at the Grand Palladium Puerto Vallarta on February 17-24th in the Imperial Club Master Junior Suite in building 4. The Direct Transfer from Airport to resort turned out to be a milk run stopping at multiple hotels, even though we paid for Direct Transfer. The Air Transat lady at Airport was arguing with the shuttle people to get us a direct transfer and he wouldn't do it. He finally compromised after 5 minutes or arguing, the milk run bus stopped at our hotel first. We arrived at 1 p [... read more]m and they told us the room will be ready at 3 pm on the second floor. We came back at 3 pm at it still wasn't ready and to come back at 3:10, then 3:20, then 3:40, then 3:50 and finally at 4 pm we were given a room on the 1st floor, which we declined as we requested the 2nd or higher. When we asked for the room we were promised, the supervisor told us that nobody had promised the room, but the young man was right beside her. We finally got our room at 6 pm. I asked if that is how you treat your imperial club guests? She didn't reply. After check-in, we received a Check-out slip in Spanish. Why? We went to the Air Transat agent the next day and he was very apologetic for the problems and would get to us later that day. He asked us to come back at 3 pm and he would find out what happened. We went back at 3 pm and all we got from him was excuses, such as a 5 hour check-in was normal. What nonsense was this? We stayed at this Grand Palladium hotel because we had stayed at the Mayan Rivera hotel prior with Imperial Club and it was excellent. Imperial Club at this resort means absolutely nothing. You get nothing for the extra money that you paid! The maid service was excellent and the room, when we eventually got it was excellent in building 4. The staff that work the bars and buffets make up for the useless check-in counter staff. The staff at the Steakhouse were terrible. The cowboy steak I had the first night was RAW! I sent it back and it came back so tough that it was inedible. My wife's steak was supposed to be well done and came back medium. Back it went and came back half well-done and the rest medium well. The rude lady at the Italian restaurant turned us off that restaurant, so after 2 bad experiences, we went to the buffets for all of our meals that for the most part were excellent. A big shout out to the Carlos and staff at the Secrets bar, especially the warm smile you got everyday from Melissa. All of the beach bar staff are EXCELLENT, especially Antonio, Omar and Ezekel and a lovely woman that I didn't write he name down. We sat in the main buffet section and were served by the lovely Judith! We were treated like family every day. We missed seeing her on her day off. The gang at Hemingway's were excellent and very entertaining, as we went there every night. We had great breakfasts and lunch's at the Punta Mita buffet by building 5. The resort was very beautiful and we loved walking around the resort. No need for a gym as there are a lot of steps. The beach was awesome and we spent most of our time there. In all, the restaurant, maid and bar Staff are excellent, except for Steakhouse and Italian restaurants. Would I go back? Never! Even though sitting on the beach, watching whales breach in the bay was awesome, we were let down the Steakhouse and Italian restaurants. The check-in process was the worst I've had in 30 years of travelling in the Caribbean. At the Mayan Riviera hotel, Imperial Club meant something, but that doesn't seem to be the case at this hotel.

Barcelo Puerto Vallarta: Awesome Time at Barcelo

We just spent a week at Barcelo PVR it was awesome. 5 star hotel with tons of fun and features. Lots of great food and plenty of choices. Staff very professional and friendly will meet your every need.

Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta: Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta

Hotel is nice, rooms big and clean,food exallant, really good selection of different couisine. I will recommend this hotel to a friend. The pool is spacious with activity. We liked the choices of a different salads and vegan selection. The fresh made juices in the morning is a perfect start of the day.

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Beautiful Resort

The grounds are beautiful, love how they kept all the vegetation natural, that was a huge bonus. Nice feature having a little zoo there. They even had a shunk on site wandering everywhere. The food was great, lots of choices and good in the buffets. The alacart were good, but big downfall you couldn't book them most of the time. They said book on the app, it never worked most of the time. Frustrated a lot of people. That all needs to be revisited and set up properly.They always said come ea [... read more]rly at 6:00 pm you will get in which we did get in. Most of the time you would walk into them later 7:30-8:00 pm and they were mostly Empty but you couldn't go in and eat because you didn't book but when you tried to book they said fully booked. Needs big improvement. The beach and ocean was very nice. The pools were good. Spent a lot of time in both. Lots of stairs everywhere and steep ramps is the downfall. Was a work out for most of the people at the resort even the workers there. They had one step areas everywhere very dangerous seen several people fall and trip on those, that is poor planning there. For senior folks and people who have back and knee or hips problems and in not good physical shape is not the place for them. Big mistake in allowing the resort people into the area of the time share part. Feel for those people now not having what they paid big dollars for at this particular resort. Overall very good resort, talking to a lot of people when we were there the ongoing comments was the one step stair tripping and falling, way to many stairs and steep ramps and the alacart issue.

Delfin Beach Resort Puerto Vallarta: Amazing personnel

The location of the hotel is the best! The hotel is super clean and the personnel is friendly, in good humor and fantastic! The room we occupied is in need of tender loving care. We saw renovated rooms and we will get a renovated one when we go back! The food was ok, never left a meal my stomach empty.

Occidental Nuevo Vallarta: Great food

Quieter resort, rooms were clean, food was really good and the drinks were well made. Wifi seemed to be an issue for those who wanted it. Rooms are a bit small but the showers were hot with good pressure.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: So-So

This hotel was much older than what I was expecting and could do with a few upgrades/improvements. I'd like to see a fridge in the rooms as well as some updates. There were 2 beds, one TV cabinet and a desk with two chairs. We lived out of our suitcases that were stored on the floor for 2 weeks, because there was no place to unpack and no place to put our suitcases off the floor. There needs to be a fan in the bathroom. I'd like to see a few small tables poolside. The food was typical of m [... read more]any AI's. The beach was lovely and the staff was all friendly and helpful. Oh.... the entertainment!!! Best part of the hotel. Those ladies and gents were fantastic. I would never say anything deliberately bad, but I likely would not return.

Grand Sirenis Matlali Hills: Lovely spot - would come back

This place is visually beautiful, built into the mountains not on the beach like most resorts. They do have a regular shuttle to the beach club that runs all day The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms I saw were lovely and mine was amazing. Breakfast is better in the spot near the mineral pool and is also a pretty decent Italian a la carte restaurant for dinner. Make reservations early for any of the a la Cartes, they fill fast Entertainment crew is fun they work hard and you’ll always find something to do Even tho it’s all inclusive, please tip these staff - they work hard to please you and they deserve and appreciate it (use USD if you can, they get more out of it). Celso at the main pool bar is awesome, as is Joaquin in the Sky Bar, and the gal who makes omelettes in Huanacaxtle buffet is always pleasant , makes a mean omelet! Word of warning: you need to be part mountain goat as this place is VERY hilly, but they are quite happy to scoot you around on golf carts if you find the walking daunting. This is surrounded by beautiful foliage and lizards birds etc. I loved it

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Staff great hotel mediicre

The hotel rooms were dank and stuffy with constant mold smell. We had to move from the first room as it was unbearable and this view as supported by club people who were shocked at the smell, the second room was better but still not acceptable. We paid for Imperial service in a master junior suite and it was not worth it at all. The management of this hotel is poor but the service was excellent in the restaurants and bars with the food mostly okay. Our imperial master junior suite was not pro [... read more]perly made up as per advertised and I had to call frequently to get bathrobe, slippers, fruit basket and gift plus beach towels. The maid service was good. The entertainment was to hip hoppy and not enough good dancing music but weather was great and beach pretty good Alon with a great massage near the beach area. I will not go back again as management letting the place deteriorate with bad room smells.
