Grand Memories Santa Maria: Wonderful!

The beach was perfect! Well kept with ample lounge chairs and shady umbrellas. All of the staff were always kind courteous and friendly. The buffet had plenty of variety whether it was breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had a wonderful stay and would be more than happy to return!

Memories Trinidad Del Mar: A 2star resort

A resort in transition from a one poorly maintained for a number of years to the Memories chain which is slowly making improvements. Pool is too shallow for adults by themselves with a depth of only3 feet. Food is awful in the dining room and specialty (?) restaurant. Meats are over cooked and dry, salads uninspiring and desserts look nice but are tasteless. Flies are a problem and frequently annoying in the dining room.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: An OK Resort

I have been to Cuba 17 times and this resort falls into the okay resort. Pay for what you get! First day was a little mixed up.never met our butler nor did we get water nor the fridge restocked. Biggest issue when we got there was that they had no Cristal beer, tonic, soda water for days and our air condition did not work for 2 days. Once we got ahold of our person that fills the fridge he gave us 10 beer in our fridge for 10 pesos. The only way to insure we had beer. Wine was also hard to get. [... read more] We had to buy our own and bring to the buffet. There was plenty of food and it was good. There was very little service and you had to get your own drinks unless you tipped well.

Grand Memories Punta Cana: Fantastic vacation

Beautiful grounds-well kept. Food was delicious and staff all friendly and helpful. Water Park wonderful and so much fun. Rooms clean. Loved the balcony ! Very impressed with the ability to order room service 24/7 and to be able to do so from the TV. Never disappointed. A La Cart restaurants excellent. Not over crowded . Beach was beautiful-didn't have to fight for chairs or shade. Loved the ability to use the other hotel and have the transportation to the beach, Never had to wait very long [... read more]. Night entertainment excellent for children an adults. Will certainly return.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Varadero: Great Resort

The Sanctuary at Grand Memories Varadero was wonderful. Worth the extra money to stay at this adults only section. Well taken care of by staff, service was great and food was good. Grounds were beautiful and well maintained, pool was clean and beach was awesome. Beach towel service was convenient. Great bar service and drinks. Room was a little tired and needed some TLC (patio door old and didn't latch, shower didn't drain properly, toilet ran but was fixed promptly on request). Was happy with r [... read more]oom cleaning and AC was reliable. This was my first trip to Cuba and Veradero did not dissappoint. Never seen a better beach. Was there last week of February and sunny everyday and not a drop of rain! Great value for the money.

Sol Turquesa Beach: 1st Cuba trip!

Overall I enjoyed my stay at Memories Holguin. The resort was good everyone was really nice, the food was ok and the rooms were decent. We never had any issues finding chairs on the pool or beach. Most people comment on all the stairs but I had no issues with the stairs, I actually enjoyed how you could go up top and have almost a birds eye view of the resort, it also made it easier to locate people. My only recommendation to the resort would be to make the swim up bar pool an adults only pool.  [... read more]The odd night there were some bugs by the pool/beach but not so much in the lobby area. Other than that I would definitely go back!

Resonance Blu Varadero: Resort needs a make over , beautiful beach

Resort needs a make over , pools and beach are phenomenal, food was terrible, they kept running out of cups at bars , and plates at cafeteria. Resort staff were great ,very friendly, the first room we got was covered in bugs and smelled really musky, asked for another room on second floor it was better, beach chairs were mostly all broken if you could find one

Resonance Blu Varadero: Acceptable

This resort is an acceptable place, only lost power 3 times, and after day 4 we finally got hot water ! Yay! And the only ran out of cups and bread on day 4 ! Service was great when u could find someone to assist you!

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Memories caribe Cayo coco

Wonderful hotel Food was great rooms were good waiters and waitresses were wonderful I can’t say enough about the beach it was just simply amazing the most beautiful beach I’ve ever been to loved it will definitely be going back again

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Staff make the resort!

Beautiful resort and the most wonderful staff. Pros- Friendly staff, great drinks and awesome pizza. Always found chairs on beach and pool and met so many incredible new friends. Cons- in Building 23 we only had 3 days of warm water for showers. Don’t leave anything on patio if on ground floor. Items were stolen in the next room. I will definitely return next year!

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Nice resort but in need of updating in rooms

The grounds were very well kept , and the walk way through out were very nice! Beach was amazing but would be great to have a washroom at each of the entrances to the beach where they have the showers just a long walk to go back to your room. Food was better than my trip to Varedaro 5 years ago. But have a long way to go to improve on the food. Pizza and Banana chips were great at the beach. Saw the sports bar with white seats and went there one night . The chairs were so dirty it was kinda gross . never went back there. The buffet was nice staff were polite you can find something to eat just again the food is different and repetitve. The washrooms were clean . Our room the shower bathroom mirror were not cleaned all week. I did it myself . You couldn't take your drink out of where you were they seemed worried you would take or lose the glass. I don't know maybe they are held responsible for missing utensils etc. Had a great time went with freinds the weather was perfect . But they really need to redo the rooms , and they need to be cleaned better.

Memories Jibacoa: Relaxing week

Great place to relax. A LA cart restaurants are very good. Lovely walking beach. Very well kept grounds. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. Local restaurant up the road is a must place to go.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Memories Caribe is great

We were greeted well with a wonderful refreshment. The rooms were spacious and kept clean every day. The beaches are spectacular. They have a barbecue and a Pizza Hut for lunch at the beach and if you want a lobster at the beach you could order one it was very tasty. The entertainment was the greatest I ever seen. The a la cart restaurant were good . We really enjoy the Cuban restaurant the best good wine and service. We were there for two weeks and the weather was amazing.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Not very amazing, sorry!

It is very nice, but still has severe problems with the water supply - was down from 3-4 hours in daytime and off and on throughout my stay 14 days. Staff was very friendly, as helpful as they could; food was very repetitive and lacking in fresh fruit/vegetables; left to sit out on buffet all day long! Want a working site to discuss Sunwing return flight, so pls pass this on to me!!

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Absolutely extrodinary Resort!

Would like to start by saying this was our first time at this resort and I must say that the entertainment staff Michel, Lazara, Zoe, Ricardo and Ely (to name a few, as i can't remember all of their names) were quite amazing. They did a fabulous job at engaging the people in games, activities and nightly events. The nightly events were absolute amazing - loved their version of Dirty Dancing! Dave has some nice shots in our Beer Pong game. No complaints about the rooms or food. Everyday I looked forward to seeing what the cleaning staff would do with the towels, as they would shape them into Swans, hearts, Cats, flowers, etc... Everyone from the front desk, to the gardeners, to the staff at the buffet, were just absolutely amazing - always ready to help and serve. We will definitely be returning in years to come. The only small complaint (completely our end) is that the group we went down with was scattered around the resort, so next year we will try to get rooms closer together, or in similar areas. Other than that we all have nothing but positive things to say about this resort (Memories Caribe) and the people there.

Sol Turquesa Beach: Disappointing Accommodations

The resort itself and where it is situated was lovely despite the numerous stairs that had to be climbed to get to and from the beach. For individuals with mobility issues this is not the resort to be at. The place is in need of renovation. There is no sound-proofing between rooms that are both beside one another or above/below one another. It was very difficult to sleep as even a normal conversation was audible from the room next door. After day 3, I had enough. Upon arrival, no beach towels were left in our room and we were told "perhaps you left them at the beach". Pushing the blame onto your paying customer is not a good approach. Our response was "afraid not, as we can't go to the beach as we have no towels". This issue took 24 hours to resolve instead of someone just bringing us the towels.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: AMAZING resort

The beach is absolutely beautiful, the workers are so kind and fun, the swim up bar is great, the grounds are well kept. The drinks are great! Sunset is a must see. I met so many nice people. I would definitely come back!

Sol Turquesa Beach: Incredible Resort

The three of us stayed in a three bedroom hotel. Amenities were good, beds were clean, water was clean and rooms are clean. The hotel grounds were tidy. We were really impressed with the customer service there. All the people were very friendly when we asked for anything in the lobby. Pool was clean. The entertainment there was amazing. Nice big lobby is the first thing you see. Check in was seamless and quick. Grounds are well kept . Rooms were standard , clean they leave bottles of water every day. Lewis is great very helpful and on time for the pickups. Very nice beach and great drinks at the beach bar. Pools were clean could use some new chairs. No issue with food it was great.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: We love Cuba!!

The refurbished parts of the resort are lovely but the ones that are not are seriously in need! Be warned! We requested a move and were accommodated but I would not have been happy to spend a week in the unrenovated sections!! The grounds are meticulously maintained and the Cuban people could not be more attentive! They are lovely! The beach is why we go to Cuba! Amazing! The food is okay....nothing special but adequate and the service was as always wonderful and friendly!
