VIK Hotel Arena Blanca: Wonderful Resort

There was easy access to all amenities. Lot's of washrooms, which is important to me, and a good variety of food. The room were comfortable. The shows were very entertaining and the hotel staff were very accommodating.

Punta Cana Princess: Awesome, Awesome,Awesome

The Punta Cana Princess is an awesome resort. It was perfect for our honeymoon and we had a really really really fantastic time. The grounds are very well kept and maintained daily, the staff is friendly and very accommodating to each individuals needs. The a la carte restaurants require no reservations and are a nice change to the buffet atmosphere (much more intimate and we didn't have any issues getting a table for 2). The internet in your room is worth the $18 USD for 7 days .... but there i [... read more]s free wifi in the lobby and a great place to meet others as well. The pool bar is very busy in the afternoon and could use some additional staff - particularly to serve customers on the deck (and not in the pool). Very relaxing atmosphere and the perfect place to go for a holiday with adults and not have to worry about kids. The ocean was beautiful as well and there is a beach market about 20 minutes down the beach ..... great place to collect souvenirs!

Melia Tropical: Melia Caribe Tropical Punta Cana

Check-in was dismal - took one hour after which two employees took another 15 minutes separately telling us all about the resort while trying to get us to attend a meeting about the Melia chain (all of which we had heard at check-in). The room was fair (noisy air conditioner and lighting wasn't great). The bathroom shower was fine if you were five feet tall or shorter, otherwise you had to stoop. No container for the Kleenex box and the glasses weren't wrapped in paper. No kids' amenities in the [... read more] room that we could find contrary to what we had expected. Not five-star standard in our view. On the positive side, the pool, beach, food and grounds were all outstanding - definitely five-star standard. Service was good to very good. We would recommend it to friends but would tell them the good and bad.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: superb resort

rooms were well taken care off. Groom excellent. Overall excellent. would go again tomorrow. Staff superb. I would suggest a softer material for your wrist bracelet. They have a tendency to scratch when you take a shower or scratch you loved ones.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Wonderful resort

The grounds, restaurants, and rooms were very good! Amazing beach and staff all too willing to help. This was our second time at this complex, and we can't wait to go again. Would recommend this resort to friends and family. It's a amazing value, and overall very good resort.

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: It was ok

The resort is tired and in need of some TLC. The room was musty and the furniture was beat up, the worst part was the beds they were so uncomfortable. The food was really good and the people were really nice. They have people constantly trying to get you to buy shares so just be adamant from the beginning you are not interested.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: ok

Resort was bit too large. The food was ok, expected much better varieties. Disappointed when told we can only book one la a cart per week. One week was too long a stay as we were disappointed with the overall stay.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Excellent Resort

This was our first ever all-inclusive vacation and it didn't let us down. We had an amazing time. The food was very good, the room was clean and everyone was friendly. The only thing I wasn't too impressed was that people will come early to the beach to reserve seats and leave. This was a bit annoying as the seats remained unoccupied until late in the afternoon. I think the resort should do something about this so people who are actually at the beach can actually get seats.

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Great Resort!

This resort exceeded my expectations. I was a little hesitant as I have been given recommendations for other resorts before and the hotels were not ok. The pool is great and really big. I did go in July so most of the tourists were locals and mostly spoke spanish. It was quiet and relaxing. Rooms were standard, clean. Mini Ants were an issue in bathroom, but you will tend to see this alot of places you go. It did not interfere with our stay. The food was good but not much variety. What you had f [... read more]or lunch was what you would see for dinner with a meat / fish addition. The restaurants were amazing ! I recommend that you ensure you make your reservations and go to all of these. The food was great! The activities were also really good. Very friendly staff and there were activities every day. We had great weather every day, no rain for the full week we were there. The beach was ok, but due to very high winds, the sand blew all over so it was not an easy maintenance I'm sure for staff. Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Amazing pleace

The resort is amazing place it self. But the beach is too deep if yoo goo weth smal cheldren you can not go to the water and the Waws are to big . The resort is big plece nace clean friendly people my dother shi had so mach fan at the kids klab I believe her name vas Viktoria shi was so nace and good. The shou at naught was great. Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: The resort was beautiful.

This was are first trip. The staff was amazing, the resort was very clean, just a bit disappointing in the buffet area, alot of variety but the food was often on the cold side. I enjoyed the restaurants especially the Japanese. The ocean was beautiful. I would go again.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Amazing Resort

My wife and kids went there in april of 2014 ,we realy did have good time, the kids love it there, they also like the the guy {Alex} who always saying i love my job he is realy funny, the food was great and the staff was amazing and realy friendly ,we all love it there we would go back tomorrow

Wyndham Alltra Samana: Great Resort

Booked with Nolitours, had beautiful room with large balcony overlooking beautiful pool, no problem to get chairs at pools , beach is beautiful but unless you go very early its pretty hard to find a beach chair, the ride from the airport is quite long 1.5 hours. Small village within walking distance but not much there.

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: not a pleasant experience

The hotel ground is kept clean. However this resort may.have a serious big rats infestation. The large rodents jump freely in the main lobby during day time and hit my daughter leg. We have been @ this resort three times with no plans to ever return again.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Great Resort, amazing beach

I would like to thank the General Manager for upgrading our room to beach front as me and my wife were returning guests. We brought another couple with us to the Majestic Colonial and had mentionned it when booking through Trip Central. The room was amazing, the grounds were extremely clean and the beach is perfect. It actually sits on a point so no weeds, perfect sand and just off to the left side is a small reef perfect for snorkling. We previously stayed in the main hotel part which was great [... read more] (3 years ago) and this time around stayed in the "Colonial Club" side which, for the small premium, is well worth it. When you stay at the Colonial club, you have a private beach area with full service and beautiful "Maria" serves you cocktails all day long with that beautiful smile and always happy. She makes the guests feel special in that section, the General Manager should give her a promotion. The food is good, not great!

Wyndham Alltra Samana: ok resort for the price

Food was good - not as bad as reviews - but we are not picky eaters. I was impressed with the dinners on the beach. Staff were very friendly as well. Grounds were nice - perfect size resort. Drinks were good - not watered down like some resorts. The only complaint I have was the fact that they had difficulty with their air conditioning .... and it was so hot !! Beaches were beautiful. Another complaint is the fact that they let the locals into the resort on the weekends - nothing wrong with that [... read more] - however, the place becomes extremely crowded and the service gets re-focused !

This adults-only resort was a dream vacation; the rooms were spotless; the pool was just what we needed; it was quiet; close to daytrips if we wanted to take one; good shopping; excellent food & presentation.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Fabulous Getaway!!!! Hidden paradise

LOVED the resort; My husband and I were looking for a relaxing, pamper yourself getaway and this place gave us all of that. The villas is where to stay! Not a place for huge nightly entertainment...Staff were great, service was top notch...definitely will be back

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Be Live Grand Punta Cana

Had an amazing time at Be Live, beautiful grounds. Room was clean and very large. We enjoyed the Bavaro Pool with it's own bar. Food was excellent and lots to choose from. Traveled with two other couples and never a problem to find chairs on the beach together, sat under the beautiful palm trees.

Iberostar Waves Punta Cana: Not worth the price

A review was previously written to the agent who took my reservation and she never replied back. Therefore I feel it is not worth my time to explain all over again my experience that happened back in April. I will not refer this resort to anyone nor will I ever go back.
