Ocean Blue and Sand: It was a beautiful resort to just relax and enjoy.

All was kept clean, neat, staff were ever so friendly and eager to help when asked. I felt so at ease and was like home away from home. Tremendously enjoyed the first experience of your resort. Would go again.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Did not meet expectations

Despite being an "older" Principe hotel did not expect this.No proper mattress cover saw dirty/dingy mattress through sheet waited 2hrs 1st night. Drunk,foul mouthed students all over complex.Pool staff unprofessional with comments. At least wheather was nice!!

Occidental Punta Cana: Relaxing day at the beach

We really liked this hotel. We were there just to relax at the beach and didn't take in any nightlife.the only downside was that there was a youth travel group there at the same time,second week of March,and they were everywhere day and night. We stayed at the beach and were not bothered but opted to head to our room after a late dinner to relax . Loved the room, top floor has very high ceilings!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: great resort

The grounds are very well kept as are the pools and beach areas. The buffet food is excellent although the a la cartes are hit or miss. The rooms are just ok; we had a white bedspread in our room and when the sun shines in you can see all the stains on them. I would not recommend a first floor room and if you have a problem the language barrier makes it difficult to communicate any issues. It is a very large resort so you have to take a tram to and from everywhere or walk a lot. Overall a great  [... read more]resort; we have stayed twice. The only thing to add is you have to be up around 6:00 am if you want to get a pool or beach chair as they allow people to hog chairs.

Occidental Caribe: We were very happy with the resort

we arrived very late due to delays when we got there everyone was tired we were travelling with two small children we were to have 2 rooms side by side they gave us rooms one on one end of the hotel and one on the other but the next mourning everything was straightened out and the trip was perfect the kids got lots to eat they loved the beach and pools our 5 years granddaughter even went snorkelling on one of day trip she had a great time she tells everyone we loved our stay good food beautiful  [... read more]beach nice people.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: First Family Vacation South

This was our first family vacation south and it definitely will not be our last. Everything was fantastic from the moment we stepped off the plane. The people at the resort were so warm and welcoming, always smiling, always happy. Our room was 1270 (Royal Golden) and we were located steps from the main beach pool and the beach itself. The room was very spacious and our balcony overlooked the pool area and beach. The beach was beautiful and the main pool was always hopping with both kids and adults. So relaxing to just go and lay by the poolside and not have to think about a thing. Service and drinks were always on the go by the pool and the drinks were delicious. The food was never ending at the main buffet. From breakfast to dinner and beyond there was always something available. The desserts were to die for and service always came with a smile. In the evenings we would wander to the main bar in the lobby for drinks and some conversation. Met a lot of great people there from Colorado to New York to here at home in Canada. Every evening there was a show being preformed and the Michael Jackson one rocked them all. Overall had a fantastic experience!! Since we had no set expectations before we left for vacation we arrived with an open mind and let everything soak in for us and it was an adventure like no other.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: THE BEST !

Dont read another review this is all u need to read. beach -great rooms -great staff -great food simply the best. Treat yourself to a great resort and get rid of the kids, adult only is the way to go .

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Great resort

This is a great resort, well worth the money. Food was great, room was great with ocean view, staff is great with the kids, everything was amazing . I would go back there for sure, highly recommended resort

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great resort

Travelled with a group to this resort April 2014 for our wedding. The resort is massive but our agent from trip central made sure we all had rooms located very close together. The wedding coordinator was great! The amount of things that are included in the free wedding package was defiantly a bonus. There is a very nice water park, our daughter is two and she enjoyed it, would be a good spot for kids up to about age 10! Food was amazing, nobody in our group went hungry.. Occidental Punta Cana: Good resort

Very nice resort, buffet had a lot of variety. Rooms were nice. My only complain is the AC didn't work in our room, hotel was quick to accommodate and gave us another room but unfortunately it didn't work in the second room either. In the end we were upgraded to ocean view room and it was beautiful with a working AC. This is nice resort it has it's issues but the staff is super accommodating. Sunscape Puerto Plata: AN ""OK"" HOTEL FOR WAHT YOU PAY

THE HOTEL IS ALRIGHT. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THEIR BUFFET AREA...NOT THE SEATING AREA, BUT THE AREA WHERE THE BUFFET FOOD IS EXPOSED...IT IS WAY TOO SMALL. PEOPLE ARE BUMPING INTO EACH OTHER. REASON WHY WE DID NOT GO BACK.ALSO,I ASKED FOR PRESTIGE CLASS AND GOT NO BENEFIT FROM IT. I WENT BECAUSE THE PRICE WAS GOOD..ONLY BECAUSE OF THE PRICE. IF PRICE WERE HIGHER I WOULD GO ELSEWHERE. SO IF PRICE IS KEPT LOW, I WOULD CONTINUE TO GO.

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Absolutely amazing

We loved this resort, there is alot of walking but that is something that we love to do. the weather was amazing the whole week. The food was so so have had better at other resorts but can't complain. Staff were friendly and eager to assist you. Would go back anytime.

Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: Amazing resort!

Fantastic resort for a family. Water park, the beach and the pools were great. The beach and the waters were breathtaking. Many wonderful and exciting things to do everyday with the kids. Very friendly staff.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Fun and Relax with a great view

It was an amazing resort. my only advice is, make the lower section of the entertainment hall a non smoking section. even though smoking is legal, there are children sitting in those areas during the nightly entertainment and also people who are non smokers and those allergic to smoke. there was a guest who was throwing her ashes at this little girl sitting on the walkway and kids were coughing from people smoking behind them. just a courtesy to guests really. there are non smoking section in th [... read more]e lobby bar, perhaps designating a non smoking section in the stage area would help for an evening of entertainment. above all else, I will visit again because the staff were amazing, friendly and always smiling.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: A high quality resort, will love to return

Overall, the location, facility, food and service of this resort is great! I did my research before I headed to this resort, so I had a good understanding of what to expect. This resort was still better than I expected, mostly because of the nice staff they have and their attention to details. In general, the service was great, just don't expect speedy service as DR people tends to work in their pace, which is understandable. Grand Palladium Palace: needs work

hotel has been let to run down.have stayed at all the hotels on this resort in the past.A/Cdidn't work.were told by front desk supervisor the intl. stardard was 25C and this was what the hotel was set at.Took three days of moving to get the room we had booked.In room safe had to get new batteries four times,and you had to go to the room and wait each time.not a great way to spent a vacation.Bar ran out of wine, every night we were there.The only things still great about this resort are the staff [... read more] and the great beach.Will not return until this hotel has been greatly upgraded.

My stay was perfect. The staff memebers are curtius and friendly. The beach is clean and beautiful. The pools are amazing. The food was fantastic. I recommend all the restaurants. Enjoyed every minute of my stay.

Great resort staff were very friendly , grounds were beautiful and well kept Food was great , no issues at all lots to choice from I would definety go back Time of our stay was mid February 2014 .Would definetly recommend :-) Also very close to the up scale mall !

The VIK Hotel Arena Blanca has beautiful grounds, great rooms, lots of dining choices with lots of great food, enchanting swimming pools. All the staff were friendly and helpful and service was great and above all a beautiful beach!

the hotel was very clean and gardens were very beautiful. The food was good lots of choices. The entertainment was energetic. The beach was kept clean but the water was very murky.Service was very good. Service around the pool bar was not the best but other parts of the resort were great. Over all we give an excellent rating to the resort and would return.
