Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful resort

The grounds and pool beach was amazing. We had minor problems with the bathroom door handle falling off. Towels not replaced some days. The food was great. The tours offered was amazing, we enjoyed it tremendously. Love it ..I will go back...one day soon.

Grand Pineapple Beach: My 2nd home

I am a repeat guest. I love the small resort, slow pace, good food and friendly staff. The 7mile beach in Negril is public, and I love meeting the locals. The crystal bleu sea is my therapy. Try meditation in the water at sunrise.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Great beach

It was ok, older resort, not enough staff to clean it. The beach is amazing but the food was a hit or miss in the buffet. The Italian restaurant was a joke, the dishes were terrible with-no flavour or good texture. Pizza restaurant was the best bet, good cheese and dough although the service is slow and they dont seem like they really give a shit. A few employees had a bad attitude but most staff were pleasant.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great hotel

Well kept facilities and grounds. Staff extremely pleasant and welcoming. Beachfront resort and amazing view from upper balconies. Entertainment sounded good although I did not have enough time to get involved much.

Jewel Paradise Cove: Great resortGreat

Great resort with amazing friendly staff. The food was fantastic and the staff added to what was a great atmosphere. Speciall thanks to Ronaldo in the main dining hall for taking care of us all week. We will definitely return!!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing week at Bahia

We spent a week here, well organized, staff incredibly friendly and all went out of their way to make our week memorable. There were some issues with a plumbing but the staff was working hard to get the issues worked out. Pool cleaned frequently. Recommend highly.

Jewel Paradise Cove: Amazing trip

Hedonism II: Awesome fun time

Unfortunately, we are back in Toronto following an awesome week at Hedo. This was our third trip, and yes we updated our rock (picture attached). We stayed in one of the newly renovated room and it made a very nice difference, especially with the availability of WIFI. On the fun side, Winston does not seem to have change a bit and he rocked the stage as well as the fantastic entertainment crew. These people are just like WOW!!!!! Can't wait to go back. Now, things that could be improved... It would be great if the music during the Glow party was more like the foam or courtyard party instead of hard core hip hop and rap. The costume contests seem to be tainted by the groups attended that week meaning the best costumes did not win because some group members were participating and obviously got the support from their own group. Maybe the format should change and a judge panel should vote for the winners. The panel could be 2 people from the audience, 2 people from the entertainment crew, and why not maybe some staff from the dining room, bar, etc... That would be all. It was an amazing week and again, can't wait to be back... One word of advice, bring vinegar in case you have a close encounter with jellyfish... My girlfriend had one of these encounters and it is pretty painful but obviously, this is nature and nothing to do with Hedo specifically. Have fun and see you soon

Jewel Paradise Cove: Fun time group

The resort itself was a bit far from the airport but the resort exceeded my hopes for an exceptional time. The people were extremely friendly and acquired the friendship of 1 person in particular. His name is Ronaldo. Ronaldo was our table waiter among other things. He went out of his way to serve our group of 14. I shall remember him for a very long time.

We were a group which consisted of 14 people. The resort was amazing. Our room was so much better than we expected. We had a pool view room . Amazing. The food was amazing. We had an a wonderful man named Ronaldo at the evening buffet help with all our needs and requests. Very polite and a great help. The people were very friendly and helpful. It was a very amazing trip . Would definitely go back to Jamaica.

Sandals Dunn's River: Awesome as Usual

Just returned home from the Jewel Dunns River and didn’t want to leave. Everything about this place is great. The staff are amazing! The food is delicious. The pools, hot tubs, beach - divine. The entertainment staff and bar staff really make your day. Kudos to the management and concierge for doing all that they do.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Ok resort

Hotel is very big, too much walking so was very exhausting to walk to the restaurant and beach from our room. Food was ok, was expecting more and very disappointed how difficult it was to book the al la cartes, tried booking them the night we arrived and 3 out of the 5 were unavailable. Air conditioner was broken in the restaurant one night. Buffet dessert was terrible, very disappointing. Wifi was terrible, unacceptable that it was only available in the lobby. The room was nice, however, someon [... read more]e did try to walk in while my daughter was napping even though I had the do not disturb sign on. The housekeeping lady also seemed to be hanging out in our hall all day. Wouldn't go again to this resort as it was way too much walking.

Couples Sans Souci: Amazing Resort

Just returned from 7 day vacation to Couples San Souci, can’t say enough about this resort , the staff were fabulous, the rooms were great and cannot say enough about the restaurants and the food was the best we have ever had. We will be going back for sure.

Riu Reggae: Good Resort

The resort was great! Nice people, amazing service, and very well kept. However there were a few setbacks as well. It’s very close to the airport so you hear a jet taking off about every 45minutes. Also it’s a tad small for my liking, especially the beach. But all in all we had a good time while there :)

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Resort is ok

Rooms are nice. Staff is excellent. Beaches are really bad. They are extremely shallow. Not good for swimming. Pools are really nice. Entertaining needs improvement. To be fair i was there during rain season so disco was unavailable due flooding. There were no great live performance productions like at other resorts in a theatre. They had small bands up in lobby that were Excellent !! Best place to party would be at karaoke bar but its small so basically guests are entertaining themsel [... read more]ves. Food was ok but im a picky eater so im not one to judge. Sadly up in the large buffet there was never jerk or fried chicken. I will be going back for a wedding. Im going to chose the luxury side this time and see how it goes.

Sandals Dunn's River: Great experience!

All in all i must say that this was a very beautiful hotel. The hotel itself, the rooms, pool and grounds are kept in amazing shape. Very clean. Food was awesome! I ate my heart out at every meal - and i'm mainly talking about the buffet ! There were 3 à la carte restaurants but we only got to try the Italien one (our own fault). It was some of the best ravioli I've had. Loved the staff, they treat you like family. Overall my only complaint would be the lack of entertainment. I would have liked [... read more] some more ambiance (lack of music throughout the day). Definitely recommended for a relaxing trip.

The resort is beautiful and very well maintained. The food was good. Entertainment could be better and more attention should be given to safety features. Example: more grab handles in the showers and around stairs

Emloyees were friendly and helpful, great food and entertainment. Decent beach with a fanastic sunset area in the evening. Bar hours could be longer but bartenders were very professional and fast. Great experience.

2nd Anniversary Vacation Sept.2019 Some things change some do not. New staff and previous staff. We arrived late due to Airplane delay of 4 hours, this time around took private transfer 1hr15min well worth it !! Greeted with cold towel and cold drink. Check-in was fast , our room was ready. You get a activity bulletin everyday check it for events and Restaurant hours. Jade Samurai resto is the only one you have to make reservations for .Jade was not as good as last year the chef did not interact with the guests just cooked the food and handed out the food no show ,Maybe the chef was having a bad day. the food was good and big portions. All other restos are good. Pools are great. Beach is awesome, clean sand, no seaweed clear water. Events: Honeymoon Anniversary cocktail, Jamaican street dance , Managers cocktail reception, Hermit Crab Races , Beach party, Dinning under the Stars, Beach Dinner and dancing, Karee Okee night , Bling disco every night. All staff are friendly greeting you with a smile, Wagwon, from the heart !!! Special mention to Entertainment crew was fabulous (,Cheeke, Jason, Monique, KeeKee, Brains ) do an incredible job setting up events at pool ,beach , court jester. full of energy dancing, and getting people involved, making people Laugh and have fun, they deserve a raise !!! Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Absolutely Amazing 10th Anniversary

Let's start off by saying an extra special thanks to Shameela who treated us like royalty from the minute we arrived. She personally took my bags and wouldn't allow me to lift anything. When she was checking us in gave us a room upgrade because it was our 10th anniversary. Not only did she stop there but arranged a beautiful dinner at the Krystal restaurant for our actual anniversary day. This hotel is kept immaculate and the rooms are very nicely decorated and kept very clean. The beach was also very beautiful with lots of beds available to just relax. We met some very special people who also helped to make our stay pleasurable. Special thanks to Sherean and Kacy Ann and who took care of us at the Cappuccino bar, Krefton who took care of us at the buffet for dinner, Nick and Juliann who took care of us at the Steakhouse, and Mary who took care of us while watching the evening entertainment and Kaydee Ann. When your on vacation and you are taken care of by staff that are pleasant and treat you well it makes a huge difference. Thank you for making our 10th anniversary a trip we will never forget. Looking forward to returning again soon.
