Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Wonderful Family Trip

We stayed as a family of 9 with 4 separate rooms. We decided to pick all Diamond Club and I believe it was worth the extra cost. Our Butler team of Denesha and Damion were fantastic and multiple times went that extra little bit to help make our trip wonderful. We had issues with lights in one of our rooms for the first 2 days, and after a few maintenance trips it was resolved - they were always quick to come look when I called about it. The restaurant staff was mostly great, with a few exceptions around speed of service and one or two who just didn't seem to want to be there. My biggest disappointment was the kids club (broken air hockey and limited toys) and that Max and Ruby weren't around as advertised and my kids were told "they went on a long vacation". One more set of problems I had was that the Diamond Club swim up bar had speakers, but was never playing any music and I was told they don't work plus a few times it ran out of a certain alcohol and they either said sorry no more or someone had to go get some (and only got some in a small cup for 1 or 2 servings). My final issue was some ceiling damage that was flaking down the whole time over top of one of the pull out beds. I didn't notice this until the last day, but my kid told me it happened the whole time (I didn't report it until check out as I didn't know) so I can't say if they would've fixed it or not. All my issues aside, we had a great family trip. The food was spectacular (no ribs the whole time made some of us sad) and the place was well kept generally. The staff always greeted people and some stopped to talk to us and the kids. We had a few team members who were exceptional, especially with the kids.

Riu Montego Bay: People were awesome , Sunwing and food ok

The servers and entertainers were very sweet and entertaining. But the food and amenities were ok. The shows were very good, the bartenders were awesome, the waiters were amazing, the food was ok. Our room was musty. We had to fight for three beds even though we were paying for three adults. The cleaners were good. But room was musty. And decor was out of date and food had a lot of msg. We had trouble with Sunwing: I pre booked extra legroom seats after paying extra for the privilege and paying  [... read more]extra for the seats when I booked them, only to find out that Sunwing switched our flight home to a tiny Swiss plane and bumped us back to crappy seats but kept our money! I'm currently fighting with Sunwing for a refund.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing resort

Very nice hotel, very clean and friendly staff. Great food and drinks we enjoyed a lot will consider Bahia Principe in the future. We enjoyed all the alacart dinners. It was nice and safe for all ages.

Hedonism II: Fantastic stay!!

We had a great stay at Hedo 2! Great people and staff who were always on hand to help when needed. Loved that the hot tub and pool were open 24/7 and that you really had the freedom to do what you wanted. Would definitely recommend this resort and we will definitely be back in the near future!

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: An Amazing Resort!

I would highly recommend this hotel! I’ve been to Cuba and Dominican so many times but this hotel by far is the best we’ve stayed at. Our room was always clean in fact in was cleaned twice a day! Also, every washroom on the resort was always clean no matter what time of day or what washroom you went in it was always immaculately clean and never out of supplies. I can’t begin to explain how beautiful the beach is. The water was crystal clear, we would bring bread and feed the fish every morning. We got lucky with the weather as the only time it rained was when we were pulling away from the resort back home. We are definitely going back next year!

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Lower your standards for service

The good- Rooms were great. Resort is clean modern and beautiful. Beach is beautiful. Food is good for the most part. The bad- Resort is smaller than we are used to. There is only one small pool that we have access to. You must upgrade to diamond club to get full 5 star experience. The service was the worst I have ever experienced from all of my vacation experiences. You will be offered drugs at some point during vacation. People smoke marijuana all over the place. You can smell it. I will [... read more] not be returning. There are way too many better options out there that offer much more for less. This was an expensive vacation and we could have had a better time somewhere else for half the price.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Everything we wanted! Great resort!

The resort was outstanding. Our room was ready right when we arrived. Quick and easy check in. We had a ocean view room for the first time ever and they gave us the highest floor. Amazing sunset views, along with views of the ocean and resort. The food was great and we enjoyed the specialty meals. We loved the beach and always had endless choices of beach chairs. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing stay

The hotel is clean and beautiful. The grounds are well kept and picturesque. The staff was amazing and on point. Alcohol was bountiful. The rooms were clean and the walls were thin and I hear kids in the next room. The housekeepers were nice and pleasant and willing to direct me around as this is a huge resort I did not care for the service from the front desk. The staff huddles and giggles. Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: One of the best!

This is our second time to Jamaica, first time on the north side of the island. We were not disappointed! All staff, including front desk reception, butlers, concierge, wait staff and bar tenders were all extremely helpful, friendly, and if you can believe it..TIMELY! Never had to wait long for food, beverages, even the room service was stated to be "45 minutes' and usually came within 20-25 minutes! Buffets were themed and always replenished, short lines at the omelette stations in the morning and the lunch buffet at the best jerk chicken and pork I've had! We were lucky enough to have a corner ocean view deluxe suite, with 270 degree views off our balcony, looking at the ocean and the mountains of Jamaica, really breath taking views to wake up to and watch the sunset over the mountains! The resort is huge, as with the Luxury Bahia side, you have access to the Grand side as well, opening up even more possibilities and activities to enjoy during your vacation, as well as the quiet solitude of no children at the Luxury side.

Riu Palace Tropical Bay: Great location!!

The grounds were kept beautifully. Housekeeping very good. Overall hospitality was very good.Jamaica is a beautiful island with beautiful culture..As for the value...For a single traveller I did not find great value in this package. Had it been 7nghts my rating would of been different .

Jewel Paradise Cove: Great vacation!

This place was not exactly as expected. The food was fantastic, staff lovely and comfortable rooms. But the beaches were a disappointment. Not swimmable as it was a small closed off area and the seaweed took over the rest. The pools were good for socializing but again, not deep enough to swim. The grounds very well kept and many areas to explore. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful resort

The grounds and pool beach was amazing. We had minor problems with the bathroom door handle falling off. Towels not replaced some days. The food was great. The tours offered was amazing, we enjoyed it tremendously. Love it ..I will go back...one day soon.

Grand Pineapple Beach: My 2nd home

I am a repeat guest. I love the small resort, slow pace, good food and friendly staff. The 7mile beach in Negril is public, and I love meeting the locals. The crystal bleu sea is my therapy. Try meditation in the water at sunrise.

Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Great beach

It was ok, older resort, not enough staff to clean it. The beach is amazing but the food was a hit or miss in the buffet. The Italian restaurant was a joke, the dishes were terrible with-no flavour or good texture. Pizza restaurant was the best bet, good cheese and dough although the service is slow and they dont seem like they really give a shit. A few employees had a bad attitude but most staff were pleasant.

Well kept facilities and grounds. Staff extremely pleasant and welcoming. Beachfront resort and amazing view from upper balconies. Entertainment sounded good although I did not have enough time to get involved much.

Great resort with amazing friendly staff. The food was fantastic and the staff added to what was a great atmosphere. Speciall thanks to Ronaldo in the main dining hall for taking care of us all week. We will definitely return!!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing week at Bahia

We spent a week here, well organized, staff incredibly friendly and all went out of their way to make our week memorable. There were some issues with a plumbing but the staff was working hard to get the issues worked out. Pool cleaned frequently. Recommend highly.

Hedonism II: Awesome fun time

Unfortunately, we are back in Toronto following an awesome week at Hedo. This was our third trip, and yes we updated our rock (picture attached). We stayed in one of the newly renovated room and it made a very nice difference, especially with the availability of WIFI. On the fun side, Winston does not seem to have change a bit and he rocked the stage as well as the fantastic entertainment crew. These people are just like WOW!!!!! Can't wait to go back. Now, things that could be improved... It would be great if the music during the Glow party was more like the foam or courtyard party instead of hard core hip hop and rap. The costume contests seem to be tainted by the groups attended that week meaning the best costumes did not win because some group members were participating and obviously got the support from their own group. Maybe the format should change and a judge panel should vote for the winners. The panel could be 2 people from the audience, 2 people from the entertainment crew, and why not maybe some staff from the dining room, bar, etc... That would be all. It was an amazing week and again, can't wait to be back... One word of advice, bring vinegar in case you have a close encounter with jellyfish... My girlfriend had one of these encounters and it is pretty painful but obviously, this is nature and nothing to do with Hedo specifically. Have fun and see you soon

Jewel Paradise Cove: Fun time group

The resort itself was a bit far from the airport but the resort exceeded my hopes for an exceptional time. The people were extremely friendly and acquired the friendship of 1 person in particular. His name is Ronaldo. Ronaldo was our table waiter among other things. He went out of his way to serve our group of 14. I shall remember him for a very long time.
