Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort: Wonderful Resort

We had a wonderful vacation at SecretsPuerto Los Cabo’s. The rooms were a little dated but very comfortable. Mini fridge was restocked daily and room service was awesome. The food at this resort was delicious and plentiful. No reservations necessary for A la carts with the exception of the Japanese restaurant if you want to sit at the grill,however if you want to just get a regular table you can order off the menu. We were there the last week of April so hotel was not at full capacity and we nev [... read more]er had to wait for a table at any restaurants. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating but watch out for time share pitches both at the hotel and the airport. We were in a swim up room in the 300 block. This is a large resort and it is built on a hill, so if you have mobility issues request accommodations closer to the main buildings. We really enjoyed the swim up as the main pool could get pretty rowdy. It was nice to retreat to a more quiet space when we wanted to. The swim up with garden view is quite far from main buildings, ocean views swim up is closer. They do offer transportation with golf cart. We often would walk down as it was downhill and then get a ride back because it is uphill. If I was younger it’s not a bad walk but I am a senior so the walk back was sometimes challenging. The beach is very dangerous and the black flag was up the whole week we were there. It is not a swim able beach even at the best of times so if you are a beach person this isn’t for you. There is a wonderful beach bar with swing chairs and lots of lounge chairs with drink service and tiki umbrellas for shade, on the bluff above the beach. We spent a couple of pleasant afternoons there. The sound of the waves crashing on the beach was very relaxing. Overall it is a beautiful resort and we enjoyed our visit there.

Senator Riviera Cancun Spa Resort: Amazing resort

Cannot fault this resort, excellent staff, excellent restaurants and food. Clean, tidy and modern rooms. Lots of fun activities and great shows. The grounds were very clean and always being attended to. We will definitely return.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Great family vacation

The grounds, staff and rooms were great! The coffee shops were awesome and there was always chairs by the pool even at 10am. The buffet was good; it had a lot of variety but the options were mostly the same for lunch and dinner all 7 days. The gym was really nice and the pickleball/ tennis courts were never busy. The food at the La Geisha restaurant was delicious.

Viva Maya by Wyndham: Would go again

The hotel was very clean we really enjoyed the setup . The food was good . The staff was very helpful we Evan took a massage. The hotel room were clean .we went to a couple restaurants and food so good but Mexican one we fell ill after not sure why , all in all we would return to the hotel again .the place was organized and drinks were well made . Lots to o do for families and kids activities.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Great and amazing vacation

Hotel was a little old but everything was clean and very well designed. One of the greatest thing we appreciate was to swim with the turtles. So you don’t have to pay anything because it is right there at the beach. Catamaran is also free. Restaurants and food was also excellent. Drink, I don’t drink that much so I can’t comment. Pools are huge and clean, lots of chairs but people still reserve them…

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: This resort is something else

Secrets Tulum Resort and Beach Club: Unforgettable Experience

My now fiancé and I had the best time at secrets tulum. Not only was it the trip we got engaged on, but everything was perfect from start to finish. Employees were friendly, and service was efficient. Food was excellent. The shepherd tacos at La Taqueria were our favourite. The pools were refreshing, and the design of the building was just stunning. We appreciated every detail. Drinks were never ending, with bartenders even surprising us with special drinks and shots they think we would like. Before this trip we were stunned by the amount of negative reviews and chose to go with an open mind. We could not understand why anyone would have anything negative to say about this resort. It was an absolutely flawless vacation. The beach club was something we have never experienced before, and it was only a short 15-20 minute shuttle which added to the experience as we were in a safari truck. Beach was beautiful, crystal blue water and even 2 lovely pools at the beach club… what a nice touch. Water aerobics, yoga, beach volleyball and bracelet making on the beach was so much fun. Not to mention the delicious shrimp tacos at the beach restaurant. I could go on for much longer but all I have to say is if you want a perfect romantic getaway, choose secrets tulum! Thank you for everything.

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Riu Place

Great time, with our crew. The views are spectacular, just wish I could have gone in the ocean!! The food at Japanese restaurant, was not very good. The buffet was fabulous!! Service was very good and staff so very kind!!

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Great resort.

Hotel was great. Room beautiful however housekeeping not the best. Some days only bed made, nothing wiped off. Grounds stunning, food top notch. Staff accommodating and friendly. Definitely return. Nice no children.

TRS Yucatan: Definitely will be going again

The best possible service we could have received, we have never been treated better and having the butlers there was such an amazing add on! They helped out with setting everything up and walked through everything with us. My fiance and i are planning to have our honeymoon here now

Riu Latino: Wonderful vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at Riu Latino. The resort was impeccably clean, more often than not when I went to the washroom someone was in there cleaning. The food was very good with lots of variety. The buffet alone could've satisfied me for the week. But the a la carte restaurants were very good and the no reservation policy was nice. This was our first time at an adults only resort and we really liked it. No kids around and the party atmosphere was not too loud or out of control.  [... read more] The evening shows were quite good and we went to almost all of them. The bartenders made a great variety of delicious drinks. The entertainment staff did a great job of offering fun activities of which we did a few. The beach was beautiful and the pools always had a chair somewhere. I'm trying to think of any negatives, the only one I could come up with was when we went on an excursion south of Cancun it was a long trip each way. I would absolutely return here.

Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya: Relaxing, fun and beautiful scenery!

The hotel overall was beautiful and well kept. The staff went above and beyond to help you with whatever you needed! Check in was lengthy due to our booking being under a different name (wedding name) with Trip Central. My only complaint with this resort is their dining…they do not allow reservations and some nights we would be told it’s an hour plus wait time. Aside from checking in (which wasn’t the resorts fault) and the dining wait times, it was beautiful! I likely wouldn’t return due to the [... read more] distance from the airport but for our wedding, it all worked out perfectly and they had the best price!

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Had a great time!

Would recommend this place! We did a relaxing, quiet holiday for two. It was perfect! Clean rooms, food was good, staff was excellent. Loved the wildlife there! If you want a more robust holiday I am sure you can do it here, but we had swim out and spent our time simply in our room and on our terrace. The only con if you are a beach person it is a small area.

Secrets The Vine Cancun: Nice beach!

The 3main things that come up from this location, 1- no cafeteria smell on buffet area, thats a big wow, 2- all the food was excellent and 3- the staff always smiling and not afraid to have a chat with us.

Planet Hollywood Cancun by Royalton: Beautiful resort

The grounds, pools, beaches…the entire property was pristine. Very impressed aT our accommodations and equally impressed with the restaurants and food. However, our check in was very disappointing. We waited in line for over 3 hours to check in. There was a large group in front of us and while we were waiting in line, another bus load of guests arrived and proceeded to walk past us in line and join their group. I had an Issue about a charge to my credit card for a service we did not use, I approached guests services to have this charge reversed on my card and was reassured it would be. However, I returned back home and the charge was still on my credit card. A charge for upgraded accommodations that we never received and it was for over $2000 US. Very disappointing and unacceptable. For this reason I give the hotel a 6/10. I was very happy with everything but just a fyi, guest services and the front desk were not very helpful or professional.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Family vacation

Large hotel, rooms are nice but everything is digital, we had lots of issues with our rooms, wifi not working, phone not working etc needed to be reset in both rooms. Bathroom flooded. It was difficult to book the a la cart restaurants if you had 2 rooms you couldn’t use the app, needed to book with concierge and all good choices were fully booked. Room service took 2 hours to arrive. Grounds were nice and well kept. The beach is not the best, quite small not a great place to walk the beach, lo [... read more]ts of sargassum. I’ve stayed at places with much nicer beaches. Pools were nice and lazy river was nice.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Three Star

This resort is nice, just disappointing that we could not use the beach at all due to severe seaweed. They had tractors out every day trying to control, not their fault. "Mother Nature" Also, did not realize you have to book your restaurants from home, we tried to book same day we arrived at resort and were completely booked. Only able to get into one restaurant.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Very poor at best

The hotel was very run down... - I had one warm/hot shower in 7 days , taps dripping, and no hot water in the sinks. toilets did not flush - the food quality was very poor - lots of choices but everything ( sauces) were watered down lacked in flavor compared to other resorts in Mexico and general overall quality of food was very poor - the bar's had NO fresh fruit, limes, lemons etc. - everything was high sugar content and really just bad. No fresh bananas or strawberries or access for dri [... read more]nks or smoothies etc. the due to the fact that the locals took up over 85% of the hotel , we will NEVER go back....... we were treated poorly...... El Dorado Royale: Great Property and Lots of Options

Hotel/Buildings and grounds were beautiful. Staff are very hard working and restaurant staff went above and beyond. This resort is massive and lots of options for restaurants and walking. If you want beach swimming this is not your resort, red flags are always up indicating it's too dangerous to swim. The beach area is very windy as well but nice. There are lots of balibeds and loungers and never a shortage. Staff are clearing the seaweed off the beach every day. There are several poo [... read more]ls but if you want a quiet spot you may not get it depending on the others around you. Although they say tipping is optional it is completely expected and sometime outright asked for. The high pressure sales of their club membership is a 2 hour session...they say it's 1.5 hours and will offer several benefits to get you to attend. They say they can only give their pitch once yet when we were in the lobby leaving we got the sales pitch another 3 times by the staff roaming the lobby...politely declining again and again and again. Each restaurant offers their recommended wine options for a high mark up cost but they always have house wine, which is included in your "all inclusive"
