VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Worth every dollar spent

This was my second time at this resort . And it was fantastic . The staff were more than happy to assist at any time . The entertainment was great . They brought in a jazz band from the USA abd they were fantastic. I will be returning again in March this time for longer . Ladies I am a single woman who went on her own and felt safe there. If there was one thing they could improve on it would be the reservations for dinner you wait in a line up . Should be a little easier .

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Terrific Resort!!

Fantastic room, great food, beautiful clean beach with lot's of shade trees and an amazing beach bar!! Only downside was the entire outside of the building leading to rooms is ceramic tile that is extremely slippery when wet, which is more often than not....

Occidental Caribe: Wonderful escape to Barcelo Punta Cana

East trip from the airport, wonderful reception by the staff at registration, fantastic room with a great view, amazing grounds, great food and terrific service and people. Easy to be there - hard to come home. We absolutely loved our stay there.

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: Breathless Puta Cana

I feel this was the best resort I have ever stayed at . It was very clean the service was excellent and the staff were always friendly. The pools and beach was very well maintained . The food service had plenty of options to choose from as well as late night snacks available. The shows they performed were very entertaining as well .

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Wonderful 40th Birthday trip!

A group of five of women celebrating our 40th birthdays spent a week at the colonial club section of the majestic colonial. We had an amazing time, the grounds are beautiful, the beach spectacular, the rooms were nice. The staff were very friendly and checked in on us frequently, especially Fransisco our butler and Maria from the beach bar. We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Grand Sirenis Tropical Suites: Nice for families with kids!

the good: the long pools, the aqua park, large beachfront, fun place for kids, everything's in short distance walk, they accept a family with 3 kids in a suite. In general a nice 3 stars hotel for family fun. the so-so: the rooms (even the ones that are renovated look tarnished and old), not much service in general, zero service on the beach the bad: long waiting time at reception at arrival (3h), towels in the room and water always late (they had a shortage), mosquitos (a lot of them - they'll  [... read more]eat you alive after 19:00 if you're close to the gardens)

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Sum of all words: AMAZING

What a memorable vacation! Wonderful hotel and I had the time of my life here, it was a great experience for me. I had so much happiness in experiencing the DR for the first time and it was an amazing experience for me, I think that my consequent vacations will be in DR and most likely this hotel because I just loved it. The gardens were beautiful and you could see that they were very well maintained as well. My room had the garden view which is beautiful and it was also very spacious, it was well cleaned and everything was in place, all equipment and amenities worked perfectly. I loved all the restaurants in the building, all the foods I ate there were nice and varieties were available even for the pickiest eater. There are lots of activities especially during the day if you are interested in being part of any of them. The animation team worked hard to make sure that the guests were entertained as well as putting up new different shows every night and that was a nice effort. The beach is fabulous and the staff here make your stay worthwhile because they are really lovely people.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Heaven on Earth

Everything to due regarding this resort was excellent. Food in the ala cartes was amazing. Buffet was a little small but I am sure that was due to the AMBAR being a smaller resort. Awesome beach.Would definitely return.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Loved this place

Everything from the huge clean rooms, beautifully kept grounds, clean private beach and great food selection made this a true 5 star resort. Location is perfect for long walks in either direction along the beach. Entertainment at night was alright, typical of any resort in the Caribbean.

Be Live Experience Hamaca Suites: Wonderful Vacation

The hotel room that we stayed in was in a section that was a little outdated but other than that the food was great, the beaches were beautiful and the staff was very gracious, especially our swim up bartender Elvis. He was absolutely amazing.

Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Very good resort

Example: What did you think about  this hotel? (grounds, public areas, rooms, dining, features, etc.) the hotel location of Riu bachata is the best of the 3 Riu hotels in the Riu compound. the beach and the pools were wonderful. but I cant say the same for the food. It was not horrible but it was not good either. However, the two resturants that you can go by reservation for dinners were good. although the menu was the same at both resturants for the whole week we were there. one served chicken [... read more] and the other salmon as their main dish.

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Very Nice

Everything was clean and the grounds well maintained, but pool shut down to early! Entertainment was fabulous, the entertainer have great talant and will go places. Access to some of the activities such as pool tables and ping pong was a little restrictive and the tables should be upgraded, not level.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Luxury Bahia Principe Esmeralda - Awesome Resort!

We loved our recent stay at the Bahia Principe Esmeralda in Punta Cana. The staff were always attentive and we enjoyed all the activities and restaurants available to us. A perfect family getaway for us!

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Loved the entertainment!

My wife and I had a fantastic time in the Dominican. We were celebrating my birthday and we were treated like a king and queen. If you have the option to upgrade to the elite section of the resort, do so because that is where the best restaurant is. The reservation restaurants were much better than the al a cart. The rooms were beautiful, the service was fantastic and the report was fun. Great entertainment and a wonderful beach. What more can you ask for?

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Luxury at it's finest!!

Stayed at this hotel during our winter getaway, and what a getaway it was. After explaining what I was looking for in a vacation, and more importantly what I wasn't looking for, my Trip Central agent highly recommended the Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda. Were we ever glad we took her advice!!! This place was amazing, the rooms were so spacious, wonderful king bed, jacuzi tub etc. The buildings were immaculate, the landscaping was perfected, the grounds were groomed immpecably, pools were pristi [... read more]ne, and the staff topped all of that!! From the front desk staff, bartenders, waiters etc., right to the grounds keepers, everyone was so amazingly friendly and helpful. The beach was beautiful and spacious, there were always chairs and sun huts available, and it was patrolled by security to ensure just that, which in our opinion was worth a ton!! The food was simply wonderful, samosas for breakfast to start the day off, caviar in the buffet, every course spelled class and luxury all the way, then top that off with amazing a-la-carte restaurants. Take the leap folks, be pampered, you won't regret it!!

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: We loved this resort, stayed for 2 weeks

We stayed for 2 weeks and could have stayed longer, food was good, staff really friendly and accommodations were good. This resort is on the cusp of GREAT, renovations are scheduled and upgrades in the works. I am very anxious to go back and see what they have done, it was already an amazing resort.

Paradisus Punta Cana: Heavenly place

I went to paradisus with my sister and enjoyed it immensely, the people, the grounds, the beach, the food and pretty much everything else was amazing. I would recommend this hotel to every body. We went for royal service and were treated royally

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great Resort, Great location

Everything about this resort is great. The rooms are large and clean. The beach is great with lots of shade provided by Palapas on the beach. Good drink service on the bearch as well. The swimming area is very nice but not good for body surfing. The pool is very nice as well. Lot's of louge chairs available is you get to the pool early. The restuarants are great, food is good, especially the French restaruant. The main buffet is really good as well. Lounge area is very nice and good drink servic [... read more]e. The nightly entertainment is pretty good as well. Lots to do at this hotel. If you like scuba diving you have to go to the caribean side as the water is rough on this side. However, i dove the wreck in front of the hotel and it is a good dive, just too rough! Sailing is OK as well but you cannot go out past the reif.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Excellent Resort!

We stayed at the end of May 2014 and it was beautiful. The beach was extremely clean. We ate at several different a la carter and some were better than others. Breakfast buffet was great. Fresh omelettes made to order and samosas! Housekeeping staff was a little rude and stingy with the mini-bar. We had to call the front desk for items we were supposed to receive. Overall it was a great time, very relaxing.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Great and beautiful Hotel

My wife and I were looking for a cozy and quiet destination to relax, and after some vast research ended up here and we were not disappointed. The views of the beach and the mountains from our room were magnificent, the food was great, the outings were unforgettable and the staff were extremely friendly. Go to see the Salto del Limon (waterfalls in the forest) and order some papaya with lemon (they dont usually offer it but if you ask for it they will give you some with a smile) We would definitely come back to this country.
