Senator Puerto Plata Hotel: Great resort - amazing staff.

The hotel is beautiful - just the right size. This was my third stay here - and it keeps getting better. The food was very good- so many awesome choices. Grounds and rooms clean, beautiful gardens and flowers. Lovely pool. Beach nice - a lovely walk every day. The best is the staff - the bartenders and animation staff were always so happy and friendly. Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Great resort

This hotel is family friendly, with a nice shallow area in their pool for young children and a short trolley ride to their water park area. It's perfectly located near the beach and has wonderful options for a la carte and buffet meals. If you get bored of the ones on the resort there are many to choose from elsewhere on the other Bahia resorts. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. A suggestion would be to book on your first day for the rest of the week, in order to ensure you get a table at a convenient time.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Wonderful, clean, beautiful, exceptional resort.

This hotel was immaculate. The cleanliness, the service, the staff, the food, the entertainment, the pools, beach ... all in all wonderful. I would definitely go again and have been recommending it to my friends and famiy.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: I have been there 5 years in a ROW-fabulous

This place is fantastic they look after you, respond to your requests, its safe and beautiful - you will absolutely love it that's why me and my girlfriend have been 5 years in a row!!! Not much else to say just go you will have the time of your life.

Iberostar Waves Dominicana: Great resort!

We stayed at the Iberostar Dominicana from May 28 - June 7. We absolutely loved this resort and will go back. The service was great and the resort is very clean. Our room was nothing fancy but clean and fresh everyday. We loved everything about this resort and look forward to going back.

Excellence Punta Cana: excellence punt cana

traveled first week of feb/14. we had a great time at this resort. there was plenty of staff and all were very attentive and willing to please. the resort was beautiful and well kept. our room was newer and very clean with a fully stocked bar. the weather was great although the water was very rough every day which would be our only complaint about this resort. we were there for super bowl and they put on the best super bowl party we have ever been to. we would definitely recommend and return to  [... read more]this resort

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: A great vacation

The grounds at Now Larimar are fabulous. It is green and lush, including the palm trees and even orchids, which all caught my eye. The bedroom was fabulous. Some people did not like the openness to the bathroom but I did not find it a problem at all - and the resort will hang a curtain if you request one. All water sp [... read more]orts (kayaking, water volleyball, and sailing) are all free. There was an activity at the main pool area most of the time - great amusement. The resort has 3 nice pools. The beach is clean and has wonderful beach bar service - as do the pools. They had a pool side Bar-B-Q once during the week by the pool and a daily meal for lunch by the ocean. Make sure to have a drink of Revelo champagne. It is the best of the several that they serve and it makes a delicious mimosa!!! Unless you have money to burn, don't bother with the upgrade.

Breathless Punta Cana Resort: Top notch hotel!

The good: rooms (all new materials), service, beach, fun , drinks, restaurants, no insect, no bracelets, sports, not crowded, late night shows, pools, elevators The bad: it takes a loooong time to get an answer, a reservation or an info from a representative (kind of 2n gear speed)

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Great resort!

The food was delicious, the rooms were alright, can't complain, the resort was well kept. The beach was not the clearest of waters, and it's not a place for those looking for luxury. We really enjoyed our stay, except for the topless tanners, I had two young boys with me.

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Amazing all around:)

I really can't say enough about this resort. The people, location, size, everything about this resort was fabulous. I personally do not like the bigger resorts so this was perfect....exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a smaller resort, quiet but still fun, a place to sit, relax & do nothing if I wanted for a week, or party it up if I wanted.....and I got that. Cleanliness is something they take very serious at this resort & it shows.....very clean. I've heard different things about the food at the resort but I had no complaints. Everything I ate was fantastic as well but I'm not a very picky eater. The way I see it is everyone has their own tastes.....it's not going to please everyone but for me, it was great!!!! I will definitely go back to this resort one day & can't wait :)

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: A++, Honestly the best vacation I've been on.

I'm here to tell you that this place is nothing short of breathtaking, Service was impeccable, we had gone to Cuba in the past and the food at this resort/in the DR is WAY better, 24 hour food at your disposal, beach is soft white sand and absolutely amazing, the rooms and the resort were very clean/well-kept and I would definitely recommend this vacation. I would also like to personnally say thank you to the 2 best employee's at the resort (Mariyladie (lobby bar) and Jonathan (pool bar))

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: A Good Vacation Resort

We stayed at the resort for the entire time and did not take part in any excursions. We were really looking for some rest and relaxation after a long winter and found it on the beach. Everything was as we expected. The service was very good.

Occidental Punta Cana: Great overall resort

People were great beach is beautiful - rooms dated but they did their best to keep things clean - the privilege club is a big bonus - well located room - larger rooms - food was good, the staff did their best to make your stay a good one

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful Resort

We stayed the first week of April, 2014. This was the second time we stayed at the Ambar and were happy with both of our stays. One of the reasons we like this resort is that the Ambar section is strictly adults and restricted to only those staying at the Ambar; it has it's own lobby, it's own buffet, many a la carte dining restaurants and pool, but you also have access to the rest of the resort, which includes all pools, lobbies and restaurants within the Bahia Principe resort. There is also a  [... read more]lot of shopping and things to do within the entire resort that you have no need to leave. You can walk to all area (it's a long walk but definitely not exhausting) or you can take trams. The property is very clean and all staff are very friendly and helpful. I've read other reviews and noticed that language barriers were mentioned. During our two times staying at the Bahia, we never had any issues with not being able to communicate with the staff. We would not hesitate to go back to the Ambar.

Sunscape Dominican Beach: Barcelo hotel

Clean resort. Restaurants was just average, buffet was much better. Bar not as friendly as expected . Bar not all drink were included. Rooms were clean and good size. Pools were clean and always some places available. Beach was big and great.

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Very nice resort

The hotel was just the right size not overly big and not too small,the room was spacious and close to the pool just where we wanted not to impressed with the view out the sliding doors we faced the neighboring resort. The food was good the people were friendly and the service was excellent. We did not venture off the resort because we just like to relax around the pool and drink and eat good food. There was food offered at all times.

VIK Hotel Arena Blanca: a lovely resort

This is our most favorite resort. We have been here 3 times and plan to go back soon. Our son even enjoyed a trip here with his girl friend. It is reasonably price . The food is excellent, we love the beach and the pool area. Our rooms are great, the service is very good and the food is too

Wyndham Alltra Samana: a lovely resort

a quiet relaxing time enjoyed the beach- had shade trees on the beach which is great for me as I need shade so I don't burn the water was awesome-warm and shallow so you could go out far in the water food was great our room was very nice, clean and had a great view we loved it here we met a lot of nice friendly people -

Paradise Playa Dorada: Great Value!

This hotel is a gem, the food was great (better in the buffets than a la cartes) and the staff was nice. The rooms are basic but still clean, the pools were always clean and the beach was clean. We thought it would be weird to have more grass than sand but I actually preferred it as it was less messy afterward. Our air conditioner broke during the day once and after calling the front desk it was fixed within 3 hours. I would definitely return for the price. The location is absolutely beautiful! [... read more] The travel time between the hotel and airport wasn't that bad at all, it flew by quickly and was well worth it. We enjoyed being able to walk around the grounds and off the property without too much trouble. We walked to the Canadian Bar for free wifi and poutine and towards the other end where the blow hole was. I only have 2 complaints: no music by the pools during the day (we brought our own wireless speakers) and that it was super busy at the buffets for a few days, almost impossible to get a seat and service. Also, the Villa is only worth it if you have kids - otherwise it's just a lot of extra space. My friends stayed in a regular room and that was pretty spacious for two people.

Although the resort and beach were nice, their were a lot of stairs and hills!!! The employee's spoke english well and seemed to ready to help us with whatever question or problem we had!!! But the building we stayed in was next to local traffic & all we heard all night long was loud music, yelling & honking horns.. Their were cockroaches in our room, no dresser & 2 double beds!!!The air conditioner leaked through the ceiling!!!!
