The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: A Secluded Gem!

The resort is lovely; maintains the exceptional high standards of the Bahia Principe family of resorts that we have come to appeciate in all aspects of service provision; food, cleanliness, romm accomodation, etc. I would like to submit a few worthwhile suggestions regarding the main pool; - as this is a relatively small pool and deck area, i feel a few minor adjustments could greatly enhance the overall aesthetics and guest enjoyment of the pool area. First and foremost the lounge chairs need t [... read more]o staggered around the pool, or clustered in small groups. This would be much moe appealing visually and would avoid guests being shoulder to shoulder within inches of a stranger in the lounge next to yours!!! Second suggestion; remove the "spa" area at the far end of the pool. It was not used once the entire wk we were there and the space could be better utilized to accommodate guest lounges- the spa is currently occupying the most lovely area on the pool deck and that area could offer the most amazing views!!! Third suggestion; replace the existing pool umbrella's with the thatch roofed, more permanent type( as located at the smaller pools), the current situation presents a potential area of liability resulting from guest injury! Several times the wind plucked the current umbrellas out of their holdings, flew accross the pool and narrowly missed injuring people in the pool and on deck!!!

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Great Resort

The resort is little old but well maintained, it is compact and the food is good, we traveled in the low season so it was not busy, easy to get a spot on the pool and the beach. The entertainment team is amazing, they try their best to keep families busy. It is walking distance to the casino and the local mall. We will go back and always book with Debbie from Trip central.

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Nothing I can complain about at all!

Well manuicured property, staff friendly and very attentive, drinks and food fine I have had some better ala carts but again absolutely enough to not be hungry. pool great, we didnt like staying in the preferred pool or lounge locations very quiet and boaring. Room nice, patio's good with good lounge furniture. Rooms a little damp in day but that is the climate, turn the air down during the day.

Punta Cana Princess: Fantastic resort and people

The resort was beautifully landscaped and groomed daily! Food was excellent specially the buffet had a different selection everynight which in my mind is awesome! The beach is spectacular with plenty to do in the water! My husband really enjoyed parasailing on the beach as I soaked up the great sun! Our excursions were well planned and we learned so many new things! The people are very friendly and extremely courteous! Overall, we would return to this resort for another amazing trip!

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: beautiful resort

The grounds at this resort were beautiful. Public areas were very neat and well maintained. The rooms were very spacious and clean, also well equiped with all the necessities including the refreshments in the fridge. The swimming pool was fantastic. The restaurants served delicious meals. All around service was top rated and the staff was very curtious; the entertainment staff was very friendly and lots of fun. I was really surprised at all the different languages spoken by the staff. The beach  [... read more]restaurnat/buffet was amazing in every way, be it for the food, the atmosphere or the beach accessibility and paysage. the only problem I found at this resort is the entry into the ocean, and the murkiness of the water as well al the algee present all over and at all times. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Amazing Resort

We went to the grand Bahia Principe Bavaro in April 2014 for our 25th wedding anniversary. When we arrived, we were a bit overwhelmed at the size of the resort, but that quickly left us. It was clean, there were no bugs, the food was absolutely fantastic, I would and have highly recommended this resort. Our stay was perfection!

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Awesome Resort, Great Staff

The hotel is very nice and the grounds are excellent. It is easy to get around and has lots of options for dinner. The food is AMAZING! The staff are more then accomodating and assist with any requests you may have. The resort had a bad rep the week my husband and I went as there were many vistors who were sick. I was one of them by the end of the week. However, we realized very quickly most of our plan was sick even people who stayed at other resorts. Riu Merengue: Amazing Vacation!!

1 week, with the plan of relaxing and drinking. Success! The staff are very friendly, and I loved the swim up bar. Access to sister resorts beside Merengue was great! Not the best beach, but what I expected. Loved having access to free wifi 90min/day in the lobby to check in with friends and family. Great resort to meet other guest and make new friends :)

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Great Stay!!!

This was my Family's first trip to an all inclusive and we could not have been happier with the resort. The rooms were very clean and we enjoyed the food. We didnt spend much time in the room and the room luxuries are not very important to us as long as they have all we need and are clean. The rooms had great storage, a safe, TV, beverages, lots of sleep space and were very clean. The buffet food was great and different every night. We went to two A La Carte restaurants, the Mexican and the Bra [... read more]zilian. I did not overly enjoy my meal at the mexican but it wasn't terrible. The strange part was the Buffet had a mexican theme the next night and the same types of food at the buffet were really good. The brazilian was amazing. I really enjoyed the layout of the resort. Everything was a very short walk away and you could transfer quickly between the pool and the beach all day. The pool was amazing. Great for kids. I cannot say enough great things about the staff. From the buffet and bartenders through to the Star Performers. They truly made you fell like a part of the family. The Star staff kept the entertainment going all day and all night all over the resort. They made sure the kids and adults were always engaged. I have nothing but positives to say about this hotel!!!

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Great Beach & Staff

The Princess resorts are great as we have been at the Punta Cana Princess, Tropical Princess and the Caribe. This resort is perfect for younger travelers without children as it can get quite loud in hallway's at night and the rooms are not very soundproof. We had issues with this and when we spoke to the desk half way through our trip we were moved to the sister resort Tropical Princess which is more family oriented. We had great customer service, and Blue at the Caribe children's club at is awesome, our kids loved her...She is very warm and a natural with the kids!!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Very Good!

I booked this vacation last minute with a friend of mine. After checking out all the reviews on Tripadvisor we weren't quite sure which resort we wanted to stay at. We finally decided on this one. when we arrived at the resort we were greeted by Johonna who was amazing throughout our entire stay! She was very friendly, and helpful. The Room and washroom was fine, and clean for the most part. The only issue I have here is with the lighting, it was a bit too dim, and the light switches didn't always work. Again, not a big deal, but something to be aware of. The grounds are always clean and tidy, which is good. Any mess left behind by other guests, like glasses or half consumed alcohol was usually cleaned up right away. Again, when cleaned, the rooms were fine, but the length of time it took for our room to be clean was a bit much. Had to call front desk a couple times to let them know our room had not been cleaned and this was around evening time. Pools were great, lots of fun and good people. great staff around the pools that did their best to keep everyone entertained. One thing that was lacking was the nightly entertainment, specifically the disco which played the same music every night, it kind of got repetitive and annoying. another thing that could have been better was the alcohol, which was kind of watered down. The best thing there was the gin and beer. OVERALL, it was a great trip, and the resort was very good. I would definitely come back here again. Staff was great, and did their best to make up in areas that were lacking.

The grounds are beautifully manicured ...... The larger pool is great for activities, families, and the swim up bar is a friendly spot to meet people .... The smaller pool is more private, thus a great place to park oneself and catch up on reading your favourite books ....The staff are very friendly and always willing to go the extra mile for you ....The buffet meals offer a tremendous variety and are always presented with local colour and freshness.... The rooms are always very clean and the complimentary drinks in the fridge are a nice treat ..... We have vacationed at this Bahia Principe for the last 8 years and highly recommend it as a very affordable holiday

Iberostar Waves Dominicana: great winter escape

The grounds were very nicely kept. The pool and beach were incredible. It was always a tough choice to make..go to the pool? or go to the beach? The entertainment was amazingly well done, but it was all in Spanish. The rooms were dated, but comfortable and clean. All in all, it was a great place to go to do nothing :)

Wyndham Alltra Samana: Great Time

Great week only downer was put on wrong bus but to right resort and air cond. didn't work in room but told reception and fixed within the hour. Lots of shade,lots to do and food was fantastic. Lots to see too. Bus ride 60 to 90 mins but sites amazing to see how others live.

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: love love love it there

I would go back here in an instant! The staff was welcoming, the rooms were clean and always had a personal touch to make us feel special. The food was amazing!! The pools, grounds and beach were always clean. We took several excursions to see the countryside, landmarks and other beaches. I would sure recommend these sight seeing adventures!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: What a lovely vacation!

Everything from the service to the food was great! It was worth going to the Ambar section of the resort as it had a more classy upscale feel. My friend and I had massages at the resort's spa and found it to be very nice. One of the Ambar's perks was the beach - we never had a problem finding seats even though we are late risers. The only part of the trip that was a bit disappointing was the shopping excursion we went on. I like to get to learn about the country I'm in and feel like I am buying authentic items. The craft fair on the resort was much better and bought a larimar stone for $40 that would be sold here for $200! I would recommend this resort to anyone. It was very nice.

Catalonia Bayahibe: nice place

Grand Palladium Palace: Beyond my Expectations

This trip was a present to my daughter just finishing her Master's Degree. We both needed a place where we could relax, unwind, and enjoy the landscape and setting. We felt safe and taken care of the minute we walked through the airport and were brought by shuttle to the Hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and quiet. The staff were helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable of the area and culture. They made the extra effort to make sure we were satisfied. I am a vegetarian and had ample choices of restaurants, meals and healthy selections of fruits and vegetables as well as protein. The waiters and waitresses recognized me and brought me special treats as I also did not drink alcohol. My daughter on the other hand enjoyed the variety of tasty meat dishes enhanced by the right wine or refreshing beverage. This was the first time I went to an all inclusive and I will definitely do again.
