Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: incredible resort

Travelled with wife and Adult son and his girlfriend. Can't say enough positive things about this resort. The staff were amazing. Extremely happy and friendly (especially Eddie in the buffet and Domenedes in the A la cartes, or tequila boom boom as we called him). Would recommend to anyone and are already planning our next trip in the spring. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this resort.

Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: Ok, resort!!!

People not overly friendy. Grounds and pool nice. Hotel old, but kept clean. Food was ok. Nice and close to airport. It was nice big resort, with a few different places to always get something to eat and drink.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Best Adult Spot in Punta Cana

Barcelo Bavaro Beach is a small resort on a world-class beach. It has wonderful facilites....pool, bars, amazing buffet and two specialty restaurants, theater, games area, shop.....but is quiet and relaxing. As a guest at Barcelo Bavaro Beach you can swim in the ocean, dine at a romantic private cabana on the beach, have any beverage you imagine crafted by friendly bartenders or relax on the balcony or patio of your spacious well-appointed room. It's the perfect romantic or lazy day getaway with plenty of privacy, but right next door you can gamble all night or dance til dawn. You have a choice of either of the two theaters for nighttime shows and more food choices than you can possibly cram into a one week stay. The food is varied and tasty and the service is good. Our room was well cared for, our mini bar always stocked and lots of towels provided. Can't decide whether to kick back and relax or go for the gusto in Punta Cana? For the adult traveler Barcelo Bavaro Beach offers the very best of both vacation worlds.

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: I'll pay more to go elsewhere next time

My wife and I were happy with our stay here, but we weren't knocked off our feet by anything on the trip. The staff was very friendly and entertaining, the food was OK, the rooms were nothing special (I think we were staying in the older part), and the drinks... well, they were drinks... Not bad, but also nothing that I couldn't pour for myself on the patio at home. In short, I'm happy we got away for the week, we enjoyed ourselves, weren't swept off our feet by anything, but we did get a relaxi [... read more]ng and enjoyable week away. Next time I go south (we're going to try to make this an annual thing now) I will spend a little more and try somewhere else. Would I recommend this hotel to a friend? No. But not because it was terrible or anything, just because I wasn't wowed, and if you are spending over a couple thousand dollars to go somewhere I think you should be wowed.

Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: Beautiful Resort

LOVE it here! We have been twice and will definitely be back again. Rooms are good, staff are very nice, grounds are amazingly beautiful. Bars are good, beach is awesome. Lots of waves! Scuba diving is GREAT! We walk around Sousa and to the casino and feel safe. If you're expecting to be waited on for such things with your meals as coffee, this is not the place for you. You have to get your own. This is totally ok with us. The only complaint I have (and i did not complain) is that the sheets wer [... read more]e too short for the bed. But i remade the bed in a way that it worked so it was all good!

Paradise Playa Dorada: Nice Resort

We had the ocean view room. It was absolutely beautiful. It was our third time at this resort. The food the last two times went downhill a bit. Last time was very bland but was fine. The grounds were beautiful, beach was great, rooms were clean. It is nice to be able to walk out of the resort area and still feel safe. Would I go back there again. Yes, if the price was right and we haven't found anything better.

Viva Tangerine by Wyndham: Quick getaway from the everyday

Not the top of the line , but the staff was great , clean , we had a great time , 4 days in Dominican , the nightly shows and party after were good times , it really is what u make it , the only thing I could say would be to get those little extras , straws for drinks for example , it's very close to town , that was nice for a walk , I love the entertainment team ..... Meow

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Good no great times

We had a family vacation , with our adult children , will always remember the great time , thanks Bahia , for helping us make memories . The grounds were always clean , the staff went beyond , the only complaint I would have is the sand on beach , but the Bahia couldn't do anything about the grain of the sand , thanks again Bahia

Wyndham Alltra Samana: Great Vacation

This resort is in a beautiful location with a great beach. the beach is not very wide, but the water is lovely. The food was amazing and the drinks were very good. I ate at the Seafood a al carte and it was fine. there is room for improvement. The room I have as beautiful and in a great location. I had no complaints about this resort and would return in a heart beat.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: This was Great!!!

We had a WONDERFUL time!!! First of all, the food was excellent. The staff were always there when you needed them and very friendly!!! They could use another pool, no where to sit, but there was always the beach.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Awesome!!!!

Awesome hotel, amazing staff and incredible fun! Will be going back! Hotel and staff are just what you want! Clean, fun, friendly and great. Our first vacation and was worth every cent!!!!! Would recommend to anyone

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: So relaxing

The hotel was great and we really enjoyed the pool and games we played every day. We will be going back again and bring our friends back with us. Can't wait to try some new dishes next time around be more adventurous

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Good Resort

Visited Dreams Punta Cana in April 2013. Was a good resort with an excellent long, winding pool. Food was pretty good to a general 4 star quality. Good entertainment staff. Beach was windy for most of the days that we were there. Only real downside was that the resort is pretty isolated and away from a lot of things, so if you are planning on doing a lot of excursions, this is probably not the best resort to go to. But otherwise, a pretty good 4 start value hotel.

Occidental Punta Cana: Very disappointed with this resort.

The rooms were very dated and in desperate need of repairs. Items such as dysfunctional air conditioning and unsafe bathrooms (water from the room above leaking down through the light fixtures in the ceiling) were examples of items that needed immediate attention.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Amazing Resort!!!!!

Amazing family holiday!!!! The hotel staff are all so wonderful and very helpfull, the maid from room 1004 was so nice she did beautiful things each day with the towels and flowers. The shows at nigt are incredible. The entretainment staff is super excelente. Thank you Yenifer and Chaca for making us laugh and have fun.

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Best resort ever, amazing

Layed out very nicely, easy to get to all venues. Employees are amazing and friendly. Carlos, representing West Jet was very helpful and always available. Mabel Cordero who works at the buffett as host was very nice and friendly. Miguel Salas was an amazing waiter at the buffett, friendly and always smiling.

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Definitely going back - Amazing!!!!!!!!!

I am a 35 year old woman and I just wanted to spend time with my man, it was a special occasion "his birthday" so I booked us into the 'LEVEL' (adult only section) at the Melia Caribe. It was amazing!!!!!!!!!!! Steps from the beach which was clean and beautiful. There was ample amounts of space to sit and relax on and off the beach. What I liked as well is there was a separate beach area for adults which there were no children looking at me as I tanned topless. The food was outstanding! We were able to go to different restaurants and do buffet or Ala cart at any meal. The Casino was fun and the spa fantastic. I was never meant to feel that I was a bother to any of the staff there. They were all extremely welcoming and pleasant. I am happy to say that I will be negotiating soon with Melia to marry my amazing man on their beach where I had the pleasure of overlooking every breakfast and lunch. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: GreatAdult Resort

Clean, well maintained, comfortable and great service all combine to make this an ideal place for a relaxing holiday. The choice of restaurants and cuisine, well prepared and delicious food combined with atmosphere just add to the idyllic location. This was our second time and we plan to return.

Paradise Playa Dorada: Amazing resort / Best we've been to!!!!!

Resort is beautiful with buffets close to all rooms. Lots of pools to party or just relax. And separate pools for those with children. We would go back in a heart beat. And that's the first time we have ever said that as we like to see new places but this place is a defiant return.

Melia Tropical: Excellent resort

From the moment you arrive at Melia Tropical you can 't help being impressed with all the things that this resort does well. The staff is efficient and very friendly, making you feel welcome while getting you to your room quickly. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Each room is cleaned and serviced extremely well and there is no evidence of deferred maintanence. The food in all venues is very good, always tastey with plenty to choose from. The only fly in the oil is the wi-fi service, which is only available in the lobby area and is spotty at best. We are repeat guests and plan on returning. RWM
