Sunscape Dorado Pacifico: MY FAVOURITE VACATION!
I recently stayed at the Sunscape with my family (including my husband, 2 teenagers and my 68 year old mother). It was a wonderful vacation. This is by far my most favourite vacation. I can’t say enough about how friendly and pleasant each and ever staff member was. We purchased a Sun Club membership and it was well worth what we paid for it. Included in the Sun Club was a private lounge with premium cocktails, snacks, couches with a tv and free use of computers with internet. It also came wi [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Everything lovely
Booked hotel with trip central and everything went smoothly. We had a direct flight, were met at airport by professional staff. Hotel nice, beach clean and beautiful. Tours were well organized. Would be nice if à la carte restaurants reservations were more plentiful.
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: I would definitely come back!
This resort fulfilled my expectations. It was kept clean, there was constant maintenance of the grounds, pool, resort. The food was good and the a la carte restaurants were good (except for the Italian) and the service was outstanding. The public washrooms were always clean and there were plenty of them throughout the resort. The service and the pleasantness of the entire staff was refreshing and welcoming.
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great resort
Loved every thing about the resort. Staff was great. We just did not like the Mexican raccoon , type animal running around , getting on tables near main pool restaurant. The evening music and dancing was great.
Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: Amazing resort!!!!
General Manager: Edgar...outstanding as a top GM as well runs a smooth resort with an outstanding team of staff members; Comfort: top notch; Accessibility: outstanding and easy access everywhere (elevators go to each level of pool and beach area); facilities: excellent; Restaurants (a la carte: fabulous along with terrific staff); overall experience: 9 guests for birthday trip was by far one of our best travel experiences. Thank you to the Azul Grand and to Edgar for making this a memorable vaca [... read more]
Las Brisas Huatulco: best snorkelling
I was very happy that we chose this resort over others in the area as the beach area was sheltered from the waves, lots of palapas and shade, better snorkelling right there than on snorkelling tour. Service was great, very quick and everywhere. Grounds were very hilly, might be challenging for people with mobility issues, but the little shuttles to take you to your room were plentiful. 5 a la carte restaurants to choose from. lots of activities scheduled.
Barcelo Puerto Vallarta: great spot
staff was awesome from the maids, front desk especially Julius and Lucy at customer service. My sweetheart was the cook at the pool diner who served bbq pork. Location was short bus to town and the beach made for a nice daily walk with great views of the surrondering area
Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Amazing resort located in the jungle by the ocean.
This hotel is very nice and clean with pools around the whole property. I would recommend this place to anyone who doesn’t care about long sandy beach that you can walk for hours however it offers small man made beach that is beautiful, great for kids and very privet. Enjoy the amazing sound of the jungle with singing birds and monkeys jumping from tree to tree. The hotel is on the border with Xcaret park that is also amazing and worth to see. One day is not enough to see and participate in ev [... read more]

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Wondeful Family Resort....
Spent one week in Feb 2016 with our children and grandchildren, had a fun filled time. Lots to do, Pools, Dolphin show on the Resort every morning, Lazy River was a big hit with both young and old. Beach is a little stoney but has a natural beauty. Rooms lovely, very spacious, modern bathroom. Each Room block has their own concierge which was a nice to have, Isaac was ours and he was so helpful to our family. Staff in general extremely helpful, service was great. Only downside was trying to get [... read more]
Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Great hotel in many ways, decor a bit old.
Conveniently close to airport. Grounds and wildlife are beautiful. Great fitness center with professionally instructed classes. I took cycling, bootcamp and yoga. Decor of lobby in Del Mar is not tasteful. It looks like badly matched disney colors with some left over paintings and murals that don't go. The Beach side is much more tasteful. Staff friendly and hardworking. Room decor is tired. Bedspreads are not attractive. I was impressed that the rooms had no musty smell and we were on the groun [... read more]
Grand Isla Navidad Resort: Beautiful resort,
Well kept, great food. Selection of food is somewhat limited. Bars close early. Not the place to go if you are hoping for any kind of evening fun. I gave a low score for service because evenings are total dead zone here. Nothing stays open other than an indoor lobby bar. Service from the wait staff when they are open is excellent.
Zel Cozumel: GREAT stay with family!
Melia, in Cozumel, Mexico was a lovely place to bring the family. The grounds were always well kept, there were many things to do with kids( crafts, activities, dancing, and music in the daytime for kids) The food was o'k. I preferred the a la carte, meals were better hot and prepped well. I did not like that I discovered by day 3 that I had to make reservations for the a la carte places. Buffet selection was ok. Beaches were beautiful, water was great for everyone to swim. But did not realize ho [... read more]
Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: Most wonderful Holiday!
The amenities in the hotel are fabulous and the robes and slippers included in the room are a nice touch. The restaurants were amazing and such wonderful meals. The buffet was not the best but always could find something to eat. Weather was amazing and everyone was very friendly. Loved this vacation!
Excellence Playa Mujeres: Beautiful Resort
The resort was just beautiful. The white sand beach was amazing. The grounds well kept. Fun activities. The nightly shows were very entertaining. The service and friendliness of the staff was out of this world. We would go back next year in a heartbeat.
Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: amazing Azul ixtapa Grand Resort
We l9ved this resirt!! it is our favorite all inclusive ever. The rooms were clean and beatigul. wonderful view with large balcony.the food was delicious, drinks were grest, service was amazing. the activities included were top notch and the area and resort felt very safe.
Hotel Castillo Huatulco: Great resort
We really enjoyed our trip to Huatulco, it's a great place, just need to be a better variety at dinner time as fish is ok but not all in one dinner or 5 of 7 days; also if you decided to stay at the hotel during snack tÃme they need better service and friendly people as we got a waitress (I believed her name was Maria) that wasn't nice to any Spanish speaking person and since I speak the language she wasn't nice, other than her everyone was friendly and very helpful!
Barcelo Maya Colonial: all you could ask for
service - servers around the pool - they are constantly on the move asking you if you would like another drink, picking up empties. tireless workers. Servers at dinner - wine, water glasses always being topped up. dirty plates whisked away. property - grounds, rooms - always tidy, clean and sparkling fitness centre - the new fitness center is the best I have seen in the Caribbean. makes my private club back home look shabby. worked out every day in that centre and it was awesome. Food - fresh [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great time at the GBP Akumal resort
Thoroughly enjoyed the grand Baha'i PrÃncipe Akumal resort. Chose the Akamal as you have access to all resorts on the property including the restaurants and buffets. If you get tired of walking there are trams that you can jump on. Staff were very friendly and always something going on to keep you entertained. We stayed in Villa 83 which was next to the ocean, infinity pool and restaurant (that turns into the late night snack bar after 11 pm).
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Very nice resort
The hotel room are a bit musty smelling probably from the air conditioning, very clean. The beach was very nice but poor snorkelling in from of the hotel area. Everything else was very nice, great food with very good service.
