Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Gorgeous resort !!!

The resort was breath taking. Food was amazing. Staff very friendly. Great family resort. We had an amazing time. Definitely a resort I would come back to. The tours were excellent. Was always something to do even if you wanted to just stay at the resort and relax

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Amazing Resort !

This resort was amazing , My boyfriend and I stayed for one week and it was perfect went to the perfect time , the resort wasn't crowded and the staff were excellent ! The food was awesome ... I my self am a pickey eater and found something yummy to eat everyday. The weather was great and te beach was fantastic , this was my 4th time to this resort and i plan on returning in the next coming years . Thank you Bahia Principe for a fantastic vacation !

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Very nice place just loved it.

Very clean hotel the staff is very friendly clean beach very clean resort would recommend it any time well go back for sure a place to relax and enjoy all day always something to do places to visit and a lot of activities.

Sunscape Puerto Plata: Amazing resort...for price

Overall everything was amazing.....however...night life....not that great....great place for the price.....pool was good...roooms..very clean and new.....service...ok....food...good....night life....none...

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: This was Truly an Amazing Resort

The resort is beautiful. It is whatever you want it to be. A beautiful relaxing vacation lying by one of the many pools or the beautiful ocean with a good book, or take part in the many "fun" activities and awesome Water Park. The food was excellent and the No Reservation Policy at the alacarte restaurants is fantastic. The fact you can use the facilities offered in both sides of the resort was amazing. My husband and are in our 50's and thoroughly enjoyed ourselfs.

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Fabulous stay

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in March 2014. The grounds were beautiful, the room was very nice and the staff were fantastic. The only slight quibble was with the food but overall we had a wonderful holiday and would go back again in a heartbeat.

Sanctuary Cap Cana Luxury Collection Adults Resort: Great private resort

Though under new ownership this hotel is being improved and some will be back to 5star. The location is outstanding, the staff are attentive and friendly. Food was good as well as the hotels all inclusive program.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Amazing resort. Excellent service

Not only was the weather great, but the staff were very polite and made the stay that more enjoyable. Made you feel welcomed and relaxed. The entertainment was amazing. Not only would I come back, but many of my friends and family are planing on going.

Wyndham Alltra Samana: A wonderful special vacation

I have fallen in love with the Samana region in the Dominican Republic. The countryside/beach views are amazing as we drove on the bus fromt the airport. People complained about the time it took to get to the resort, but I felt privileged to see this region, absolutely stunning. I also heard so many people complain while at the resort. I do know that we all paid about the same - we did not pay for a five star so why expect it to be a five star. This was our first time at Grand Paradise - we both loved it. The staff were amazing, especially the entertainment staff. Our favourite part of the day was around 4:00 - we would go to the pool and watch the games etc. They always put sandwiches, cakes, cookies, coffee out at the bar. We even took part in the games. At most resorts, it always seemed to be the same people that were picked to participate. We are older and we had a great time. The food was good, there was always something to eat, even if you are fussy. We did hear that a few people got ill, but we never did. We loved the grass area before the beach. Only one small complaint there, difficult to get chairs. People would go out super early and put shoes etc. on chairs to reserve them, but that seems to happen at a lot of all inclusives. There were little things that could have been changed to make it better, but again, value for money - DEFINITELY! We always meet great people as well. I would recommend this resort, especially for those that are on a budget and my husband and I would definitely go back.

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Third time bein here. Great resort all around!!

I really enjoy this resort. Love the poll area and not to big. food is good and rooms are clean. I take vacations by myself and really enjoy the peace and quiet of this resort. I would recommend it to anyone.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Gorgeous grounds, lots to do, amazing service

This hotel was absolutely lovely; we stayed the end of March and it was busy but we never had issues finding seats at the pool or on the beach. Food was excellent, our favourite was the Japanese restaurant. We're both in our mid 20's and I would say this resort typically attracts an older crowd, which made it nice and quiet; a really relaxing retreat, though we did spend some time at Bavaro and found it to be more lively. O [... read more]ur air canada representative was fantastic and we were able to book our excursions through him as opposed to the resort. We truly enjoyed our trip and will definitely be back! The beach is beautiful, and clean. We found the room spacious, clean, and our air conditioner was great! Staff was amazing and went out of their way to assist us in anyway they could. One of my favourite all inclusive experiences.

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Second stay and will definitely go back!

The staff is amazing, pools are awesome, the beach is to die for. White sand and cleaned daily and is walkable for miles in each direction. The Caribe Suites are nice and my room looked over the beach. The beach bar/ snack bar is 24 hours and I loved it. The grounds are beautiful and we'll maintained.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Beautiful but crowded!

Hotel was beautiful and food was good. Service was hit or miss - sometimes excellent, sometimes disinterested. It was a much more lively and busy place than I expected - beach was like walking down 5th avenue in NYC - beautiful but swarms of people! People were having a great time - but it was just difficult to find some peace and quiet. Just wasn't what we were looking for but lots if people would love it.

Grand Bavaro Princess: Faded Princess

Wonderful staff, great beach, well maintained grounds and common areas but guest rooms need TLC. They're very clean but extremely musty smelling, the plumbing needs work and locks are shaky. Would rate it a 4 or 5 if not for the rooms.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: awesome!

Great time, clean room friendly staff. Close to the excursions, beautiful beach. Would recommend and would live to come back!! Best girls trip ever!!!!!! Get to beach early to get a good seat as they go quickly

Iberostar Waves Punta Cana: Fun Family holiday!

As a family we truly enjoyed the Iberostar Punta Cana, resort. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by our room, we found it to be very comfortable. We had emailed the resort ahead of time to ask that our kids (older teens) be close to us and to be midway of the resort and they accommodated us nicely. We were pleased with our location. The resort itself is nicely laid out and everything is located quite conviently. The buffet and drinks were excellent, and we tried the steak house ala cart [... read more], we were also very pleased with the cut of steak provided! The beach and pool facilities were wonderful. We appreciated the fact there was always a spot for us at either site at anytime. The staff was superb always serving. One thing I could appreciate about this resort whether down at the beach, in my room or dining room it was so clean. That is a wonderful attribute to this resort! Also this resort catered to all ages but I must say my older teens had a amazing time. The entertainment crew every night were very polite and mannerly and were excellent hosts to a fun party every night. We booked a couple of excursions and went on the Saona island day on the catamaran, it was a full day of fun, seeing and holding the starfish was amazing. We also did the doon buggies, so fun and again was a full day, we visited a great beach which was beautiful. Our entire time here was full of wonderful memories!

Paradise Playa Dorada: It was good !!

This hotel was very clean the grounds were emaculate the staff were sometimes a little rude and the entertainment only engaged with the same crowed every day ! The food I found was good u always had something u could eat with out a problem. The waiters were very quick at getting u drinks and what ever it is u needed! I give the whole experience two thumbs up!!

Example: What did you think about  this hotel? (grounds, public areas, rooms, dining, features, etc.) Food was great, lots of variety, great pools, some busy, some quite if that's what you liked. Good shopping!

Iberostar Waves Costa Dorada: Great resort for sun and fun

We just travelled here this past May for our honeymoon. Having never been to an all inclusive resort we didn't have much to compared it to but thought the resort was great. The staff were always friendly, food was good, resort grounds were beautiful. The beach wasn't the nicest so we didn't spend much time in the water but did lounge around out there. The pool was huge and very nice to swim in. Rooms were clean but felt more like a cottage than a 5* hotel. No room service. Entertainment was ve [... read more]ry good a couple nights but it got very similar so we wouldn't go ever night we were there. Always seemed to be something going on at the pool- volleyball, scuba diving, various games. Fun to watch or participate. Excursion recommendations- outback safari, catamaran and dune buggy! For a honeymoon you may want to go somewhere else- no upgrades or special treatment (not that you really need that but we've heard it's been a great perk for other couples on their honeymoons- there's only going to be one honeymoon after all!).
