Wyndham Alltra Samana: Great trip for the cost!!!!

My sister, 20 mth old son and I all stayed at the resort in the first week of April and LOVED it!!! The staff are all very friendly, although they have a hard time understanding English. We had a beautifully updated and modern room and there was even a crib in the upon arrival!! Would definitely return to this resort!!!!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Ambar luxury

The overall atmosphere at the Ambar is luxurious yet comfortable. The rooms are well appointed and the layout of the resort makes the beach, the pool and the restaurants a short easy walk to get to. Although guests have access to restaurants in all of the Bahia Principe property, next time we would only eat at the Ambar because the restaurants are of a much higher quality.the property is beautiful and well maintained. You'll pay a little more to stay at the Ambar but it is well worth it and we will certainly be back.

Occidental Punta Cana: Excellent LARGE resort (if you like that)

Loved everything about the resort it was just too big. Never got to meet the same people twice because of the size of the resort. Did not like the people who kept hassling us about the time share or preferred customers status.

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Be live Grand Marien

We loved everything about the Be live ,we have been there four times and will go back again.We love it so much and the people we enjoy so much,the beach,the pool ,food,the rooms everything just lovely.

Occidental Caribe: Awesome and beautiful

Hotel was very nice big, food was very good beach clean and beautiful couldnt have asked for any better! I suggest to do the Carribean festival! Staff is very friendly! Michael Jackson show is amazing

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Beautiful Resort great price!

We travel as a family with kids and had a great time. The hotel is very big and can get busy but you have plenty of options to choose from. The kids splash pad is wonderful! They also have a small bar so kids and parents can have a snack! Rooms were clean and overall our experience was great! Our next trip will be Mexico and we will choose Bahia Principe Hotels no doubt!"

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great anniversary trip!

We had an amazing time at Ambar. The beach, rooms, service and shows were amazing. The resort staff found out that it was our anniversary so they decorated our room. We would definitely recommend the resort.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Won't Go Back

Beautiful resort but became ill from the food along with about 40 or 50 other people at the resort. Won't ever go back!!! The beach and pools were lovely. Ths sower in our first room leaked all over the floor so we had to switch rooms.

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Relaxing holiday

This was our first trip to the Dominicain and cannot wait to go back! The service was excellent! Grounds were extremley well kept, rooms were clean and spacious. We had no issues getting pool towels, entertainment around the pool was good all day. As far as food goes, you could always find something you like as they had lots of choices. Two of the three a la Carte were excelent. The beach was good... What we enjoyed was the long walks on the beach. What we found the hotel lack was atmosphere in  [... read more]the lobby.... No bar, no coffee bar, no music. Not a deal breaker but just something to be aware of. Again like many other all-inclusive, no spots avail around the pool as people reserve a chair the night before. Overall we really like the resort so if you want to relax this is the place. It is small, well kept, good food, excellent service, the staff is awesome!

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Exceptional service.....fantastic vacation!

This was my 26th Carribean vacation, and I can say it was the best resort so far. ;-). I have a checklist of resort requirements that I've developed over the years, and this resort exceeded my expectation. There are large resorts (over 350 rooms) and small resorts (under 300 rooms.). Larger resorts are usually less personal and offer a tin of things to do on and off site. Smaller resorts have less "to do," but but are much more personal. This was a smaller resort.....adults only resort. The food was by FAR the best I've ever had. If you're insistent on a beach like Varadero or Punta Cana, this wouldn't be the place to go, but it has the BEST view ever! The beach is small and very calm...which was great for swimming. The town of Samana was a 5 minute walk from the hotel and a great place to visit. The local people are great. There are only 5 resorts in Samana and are spread apart, so the locals are bombarded with tourists. They love talking to you. So friendly. The room was super clean and very nice. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this resort. I'm going back next month. ;-)

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: nice resort

hotel very clean an staff were awesome. Grounds were very well kept. beach was vantastic with one complaint, should not be able to reserve chairs overnight. if you do not get up a five in morning you may not get a chair. water was very cloudy as locals were dredging sand from the bottom to make cement for future condos. when the pump was not running( which was two days out of seven ) the water would start to clear. the cloudiness was not from the river as we were told before we booked. The resort was exactly as most of the reviews described. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was very good (we only went to the buffet and not the a la carte because it was better for the baby-more selection)Heard that the brazilian was not so good but the Mexican was good. It is not a 4.5 resort -more like 4.it is nice cause it was small and you got to know everyone. You could relax or party depending on what you wanted. The beach is very good. The reviews are right-buidings 6,8,9 are the best-newly renovated.They are further from the action though-but maybe some people want that. We were in building 3 which is a great place to be if you want to be in the center of things. We had a spectacular full-on ocean view, overlooking the beach. The building is a little dated. All-in –all it is a great resort at a great price with super friendly people.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Awesome resort!

Beach is amazing. The resort is very well maintained with beautifully manicured landcaping. We stayed at the Ambaar adults only property. Perfect property. Many a la carte themed restaurants included for every night of our stay.

Occidental Punta Cana: Ok resort

Nice beach, nice room. Cleaning ladies very nice and friendly. Food was average, had much better in similirationaccomodations in the dr. Servers super super slow and not very accommodating. Paid for wirelless and it rarely worked.

Cofresi Palm Beach and Spa Resort: Something made us sick

Of the 5/6 of us that went, 2 days into the trip we had the worst stomach pain and GI problems ever, lasting over a week. The stomach problems hapened to many other guests as well. The standard rooms were dated And had little bugs all over the bathroom. When inquiring about switching rooms due to the bugs this was dealt with very rudely and they said it wasn't a big deal. The buffet was constantly out of good food, couldn't get a la carte restaurants we wanted, they were assigned to us. We would [... read more] not go back.

Riu Merengue: Loved this resort

First time to Dominican. Loved the resort, the beach and the staff. Staff were very quick to provide us with everything that we asked for. Rooms were clean, bar kept stocked and the food was great. The only thing they could improve on is to have more el la carte resturants. There was only one which alternated each night from a Steakhouse to Italian...which meant that there was really only one and it was very hard to get a reservation. Will go back.

Everything was perfect! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was was good, lots of choices and it was nice and fresh! The room service was good! The beach was clean. The entertainment was really fun for the kids and adults!!! Best trip I had!!

Dated but still very nice , the rooms were very clean :) . The staff is very friendly and helpful , the grounds were picture perfect . The beach was really great and if you like to walk it goes on for miles

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Perfect Holiday

Amazing beach, food was great, drinks were yummy too. I had a blast, this was the only resort I've been to twice and I would still go again. The disco is great, entertainment staff is fun, you have to try this resort

Viva Dominicus Palace by Wyndham: Amazing Vacation. Very relaxing.

It was beautiful. The staff and entertainers were extremely friendly and helpful. We liked how the entertainers involved our children. We really enjoyed the daily and nightly entertainment. We would definitely go back again.
