Couples Tower Isle: Fantastic Resort

If your looking for comfort, relaxation and true Jamaican charm this Couples Resort is for you from its beautiful beach, charming rooms and service second to none this resort checks all the boxes. Myself and my wife enjoyed it so much that we signed up to return,for a much needed vacation this was money well spent.

Riu Negril: Great resort.

We recently spent seven wonderful days at Rui Negril. I would highly recommend this resort. The grounds were beautiful. Our room was clean and the cleaning lady did a great job. The fridge was always stocked and we made coffee in our room every morning and sat on the balcony to start each day. The staff were very friendly and the entertainment staff were awesome. Riu Montego Bay: Enjoyed ourselves

The bartenders were absolutely amazing especially Kemar, Gaverick, Phillicia, Antoinette and Saiqa. We enjoyed most of the shows that riu puts on in the evenings and other things they do during the day. The riu entertainment team was great at their jobs and made sure everyone was having a good time. Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites: Amazing Experience

We were apprehensive about going to the resort so soon after Hurricane Melissa but the experience we had was amazing. Food was good, staff were helpful. A couple of small issues dealt with immediately

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Friendly & beautiful

The resort was beautiful, met a wonderful lady worker, her name is Sherylea, she treated us like family !! Due to hurricane Melissa we didn't get to experience the full experience of the resort. Definitely on list to return one day

Riu Montego Bay: Beautiful Resort with some constructive criticism

The hotel grounds and the staff are outstanding. The lifeguards could use a little polishing up on their people skills. Rules need to be liberally applied and publicly posted. The swim up bar needs to be cleaned more often, it gets grungy and unhealthy by noon.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great family resort

This is a great family hotel for many reasons such as the kids club, low sea water (literally about feet knee deep), large pool with kids fountain area and lots of space to roam and sit. The food was really good with lots of options for meat and veggie lovers. And the bonus its just mins or less from the airport. The gym has new equipment. You can get Wi-Fi on most of the grounds. Be advised the hotel is under some renovations but that did not not interfere with the vacation (for now). Also the [... read more]y do have a vacation membership presentation onsite, and the entertain could be improved. There are lots of places to sit, but if your looking for common tv area that too is hit and miss. We only went to the buffet and not the restaurants to I can't comment on that part, but ALL the staff were exceptional!! We would definitely go back, love to see it when its fully renovated. We do suggest that they should have a more welcoming price for expatriates or locals (e.g. day packages that expires 2 am??? why would you want a guest to leave at that time!) and travel membership that you can commit to after you leave (who wants to be on vacation and commit to $15K-20K future travel on the spot). Overall the hotel is worth a visit, its very friendly, clean, convenient and slower paced.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing Resort

We stayed at Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica from October 8-15th traveling with Air Canada. We had a great experience overall. The resort is beautiful, well-maintained, and has a lot to offer, especially for families. There are two sides to the resort — the Luxury side, which is adults-only, and the Grand side, which is more family-friendly. We stayed on the Grand side with our kids and really enjoyed it. Every worker we interacted with was kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming — they really made our stay even more enjoyable. The food was a standout — by far the best meals we’ve had in any Island we went too. Everything was full of flavor (not spicy tho) and there are plenty of options with buffets and à la carte restaurants. Daily daytime and evening entertainment added a nice touch to our stay. The beach is on the smaller side and gets deep quickly, so we didn’t spend as much time there, but our kids absolutely loved the pool — that’s where they spent most of their time! There’s a small shopping village attached to the resort, which is perfect for grabbing souvenirs, toiletries, or snacks. We found some delicious beef patties there! Just a tip: the stores in the lobby are more expensive than the ones in the village, so it’s worth walking over. The rooms themselves could use some TLC, but we found out the resort will be closing for a full year starting this December for major renovations. It was recently purchased by Hyatt, and with that, many of the Spanish staff will be heading back to their home country

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Worst Jamacia experience!

I feel like this resort caters to Caucasian people in terms of food and hospitality. For me I’m expecting a true Jamaican experience and this was not it. The hotel is advised as a family friendly hotel and it’s the total opposite. We were a big family and had to make reservations to the restaurants at 9pm as that was all that was available. Imagine being in the sun with kids all day and then have to wait till 9 to get decent food, or less you’re going to the buffet and it’s yucky! The worst part of the trip was going to the bar and being treated like a dog by not so good looking older bar tenders who were miserable. I would never go to this hotel again.

Royalton Blue Waters: Mediocre Resort

The beach is beautiful. However, the food is not great and the resort needs renovations. It did not feel luxury or 4 star in any way. Additionally, we were diamond club members and other than the private spot at the beach we did not receive any other perks.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Bahia Principa Grand Jamaica My Husband and eight others just vacation there for two weeks Our first couple of days were so so But by the third day things started to change in the right direction The Hitel is sliding in Dec gir about a year but when the renovation are complete the Bahia will be even better!!

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Hidden Gem

Close to the airport with a fast arrival, helpful staff clean rooms great food and drink made for one of our best vacations. Have already recommended to friends and will return in the future. The room was clean and had a wonderful balcony offering excellent views of the resort, beach and pool.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Good

Resort is shutting down in the new year for upgrade.great staff at bars and dinning areas not the nicest beaches ,pools are nice and large. Locals came in on weekends and created lineups and were rude by skipping lines.

Riu Palace Aquarelle: It was a nice resort

The resort itself lobby rooms and surrounding areas were very nice one of the nicer resorts we have been to in awhile. The buffet was a hit and miss sometime, but the Jamaica food was really good and was very happy to see it every night. The Al a Cart were not good at all with the exception of the Steakhouse which was just OK for me but the family seems to like it. The others were not worth the booking and we had to go to the buffet after dinner as things were just not eatable. Sunset at the Palms: Perfect!

The resort is small and very unique. Food was great. Service was stellar. Beach short walk across the road. Lots of lounges and shade available. Staff sets up lounge, table and towel wherever you choose. Beach is long enough for a good walk each day. Drinks and food are served to you for lunch and after. Amazing sunsets! A few vendors on the beach, but nothing intrusive or offencive. Villa is a good size with basically everything you need. Our room had no glass on the windows only screens and shutters so I'm sure most of the cool air was lost throughout the day. Definitely would return and recommend!

Ocean Coral Spring: Wonderful Family Vacation

We visited the Ocean Coral Spring Resort in October 2025 for a family vacation in celebration of 2 birthdays. In our group we had an infant, a five year old and five adults and we all had a wonderful time. The resort responded to any issues that we had and while we did have some hiccups, the immediate response to solving the issues was very much appreciated. We availed ourselves of the Privilege class and I wholly recommend it. We felt very special and the Privilege Lounge was just excellent and the staff throughout were always friendly and very willing to help.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Wonderful Week

Hotel was good. But massive! Alot of walking. If you want beach access...you wont have here. The Beach is opposite side of luxury...and can take trolly to. Buffet food was cold. Lots of options but not warm. Staff amazing!..Room was great. Safe did not work. And heard from others we met had same issue. All pools were open. It was a great week away, but I can say I will not return to this resort.

Riu Palace Aquarelle: Perfect for Families

I found the hotel to be immaculate, with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff throughout. From the front desk to the gardeners, lifeguards, towel attendants, waitstaff, bartenders, housekeeping, and security personnel — everyone greeted us warmly and consistently checked in to see if we needed anything. The entertainment team was energetic and kept the atmosphere lively and engaging. One area for improvement would be better enforcement of designated spaces for children. A dedicated kids-o [... read more]nly pool or stricter supervision in shared areas would help maintain a more balanced experience for all guests. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, which is understandable given the volume and duration of service. However, the temperature of the food was inconsistent — getting a truly hot meal was hit or miss. The à la carte restaurants could benefit from more attention to quality and authenticity. While the Italian appetizer buffet was enjoyable, the main courses lacked flavour and finesse. The Asian restaurant was particularly disappointing, as the dishes didn’t reflect authentic flavours and fell short of expectations. The steakhouse stood out as the best dining experience — the steaks were excellent. That said, securing a reservation was unnecessarily difficult, despite many empty tables. Expanding the selection of side dishes would also elevate the overall meal. Unfortunately, I experienced the loss of a sentimental piece of jewelry from my room, which was deeply upsetting. Aside from that, I would say the resort is well-suited for families looking for a fun getaway. Personally, I’ll be seeking Adults Only accommodations in the future to better suit my travel preferences.

The hotel was very clean food was amazing love the view from my hotel room the hotel night life was also amazing the only bad was the walk to my room from the front desk the ground was well taken care of one more bad thing was parking no parking on the weekend

Everything was amazing the cleaning the food the service and the people were so friendly would definitely go back to this resort fridge was always full the service at all dining restaurants was amazing and all the service at the pool bars was great i would recommend this resort to my famiky and friends thank you i had agreat time
