Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing Resort

Very nice resort. Very clean and with excellent service. Good rooms with nice extra touches. Very close to golf course. Lots of available activities on & off site. Very helpful staff. I felt safe and with no security issues.

Bahia Principe Escape Samana: Peaceful

The campus was small but peaceful if that is what you seek. Not a busy or eventful place. If you seek solitude over a busy resort, this is a great spot. Small beach but decent. Limited to one bar open at a time regardless of time of day. Super friendly staff. Clean and spacious rooms. Beware when booking excursions. The Transat rep let us down more than once.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Nice resort

The hotel was very nice, not very much seating in the lobby of the Akumel and no lobby bar.The rooms were nice the beds were comfy. In our room though the bathroom smelled bad all the time #7923. Entertainment was good, the beach was good at the Akumel you could see fish just standing in the water. Very dissapointed could only get 1 Alacarte dinner we were allowed 7. We checked every day for cancellations and none. They should not allow people to book alacartes online before the even get to the  [... read more]resort. So will probably not come back to this resort. Also hard to get chairs at the Akumel pool.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Beautiful Adults-only Resort!

Aquamarine was a lovely adults-only resort within Bahia Principe Grand. The pool was clean and alive with just the right amount of activity and and Bavaro Beach was stunning and only a 10 minute walk or quick ride on their resort transport. Having 7 à la cartes included was amazing and there were so many options to choose from. None of the restaurants disappointed and had good service and were beautifully decorated. Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Awesome holiday!

we had an awesome time - the room was updated, the swim-up pool temperatures were amazing, the sports bar had the best cappuccino and the food and views gave us everything we needed. Thank you we will be back!!! Planning the next trip already...

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: All in all a great trip.

We enjoyed our time at the Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana. Food was really good, drinks at lobby were excellent, pool bar mixed drinks were hit and miss. Cleaning staff did a great job keeping our room. The resort was very clean including the public washrooms. Buffets had a good assortment of food and was fresh, our a la carts were also very good. We really enjoyed the show at the Fantasia garden circus although we thought it was an a al cart and later charged $50 a head. Be aware of that.  [... read more] As two friends on vacation, we requested two double beds and had to share a king.. was given a nicer room and was told to go next day to see if any double rooms available. That caused some grief. It was hard to find beach chairs at beach and multiple pools which left others having to lay on the concrete or sand which is not cool. Most people didn't show up all day to use them because they saved chairs in multiple places. Signs were posted against saving chairs but there was nothing to back it up. I think that was our biggest frustration. Front desk staff wasn't very helpful with booking a la carts or with issues involving our room, they lacked on their customer service skills. Other then that I still feel it was a nice vacation and would recommend the resort with a heads up. I would love to give a 5 out of 5 but due to the few issues we did have, I cant.

needs work rooms are outdated for what paid using bad water for grass in resort staff does stock at bars over hour to get to resort long wait to check in after check in at home long wait for bars and getting around resort

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great Vacation!

We arrived early am , we decided our room wasn’t what we wanted so we were able to upgrade later in the morning for a fee. So worth it we had a beautiful room closer to the beach. From that moment on everything went great, the food was delicious at both the buffets and the à la cartes. The drinks were delicious at all the bars and great entertainment. Lots to do without leaving the resort. But most of all the beautiful people of the Dominican made out vacation complete.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Does not fit with our ideal Mexican vacation

Staff were great and food and general service was really good. As this was a family vacation with sons and grandsons, it was a fun time. Grandsons enjoyed the kids club.. Pool water and jacuzzi were so cold, we couldn't much take advantage of the water. Even the grandkids didn't seem thrilled with the water. The ocean-front beach was accessible by a 10-minute trolley ride and so inconvenient. Our rooms were really cold and even though we started out with 2 blankets, one disappeared - we don't like to complain!

The whole experience was great, the staff was very helpful and the resort grounds beautiful and the food is amazing. Exactly what you want out of a holiday in the sun and the beach. Would go back in a minute.

The resort was great we upgraded to the bouganville which was also amazing! Only thing I would change is the air Canada rep falsely advertising excursions but other than that all and all a great experience from day one booking right till getting home

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Unique smaller resort with access to more within the Bahia complex!

The Sian Ka'an is a smaller adults only resort, that's not on the Ocean. They have a trolley service that takes you to the other resorts, that are on the Ocean. You also have the option to book a la cartes at the other resorts as well. This resort is in need of upgrading, but is still comfortable. The buffet really needs to offer more dishes, as it gets very repetitive. I really expected more from a Bahia Principe resort. The staff were great, with the exception of a couple of servers. Angel at  [... read more]the check-in desk was wonderful and very helpful! Camila at guest services helped me get a prescription medication that I had forgotten to pack. Instead of me having to search several pharmacies, she sourced the medication and had it delivered to the resort. This allowed me to enjoy my day and wait for her message that the meds had arrived. I didn't get to thank her properly, so I want her to know that I was very appreciative of her help!

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: amazing resort

I just returned from a week at this resort and was enjoying my time so much, I didn't want to leave. The staff are awesome, from the front lobby, motor lobby, cleaning staff, buffet staff, bar tenders and entertainment staff. Everyone was very helpful and ready to make our stay the best it could be. I can't wait to book another week. I have recommended this resort to a few people since I returned.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great Vacation !!!!!

Hotel was great, very clean, resort overall is very big, food was very tasty as well, chairs were always an issue, not having enough chairs for everyone, people coming early morning before the sun even comes up to save chairs and sometimes not being in the for must of the day, not fair for other vacationers that spend the same amount of money to be at this resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Love this place

Our second time here and it was as good as the first. Good food, XX Beer, nice beach. Staff were great. PGA Golf course on the property is a bonus. We had a swim up room and it was refreshing after playing in the waves for till 2pm. Best vacation ever.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Amazing Complex and Resort!!

The second time to the Bahia Principe complex in Punta Cana and it was even better than the first time. We stayed 10 perfect weather days, the food was excellent and booked a different restaurant every night. The buffet and grill food spots at the beach and pool areas also excellent!! Never bored and staff are so very friendly and superb service providers.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Sun and Sand

We travel to the Bahia Principe Luxury Sian Ka'an Feb 13 through 23 with some friends. The staff is lovely and so helpful. Grounds are well kept. Food was good. You won't go hungry. Drinks were plentiful. Entertainment was ok at this resort much better at the sister resorts which we had access to. The nice thing about this resort is that its quiet if you want to be around the action its only a trolly ride away. There were a few things that not 100% but nothing that would make me not return. Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great hotel

The property is really nice. The staff are awesome and food was also good. The a la carte restaurants should get booked ahead of time (download the app) it’s not on the beach but just a short golf cart away. I stayed at COBA side and there is only 1 bar at the beach that we were able to order from - silly if you ask me. Giving 4 stars because there is always room for improvement

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Very good resort - it is a 4.5 as advertised.

Suite was wonderful - large, modern and dry not damp. Beach was lovely and they really stayed on top of removing the sargassum grass. The resort was kept very clean and the staff were all wonderful. The food was great. We were late booking the restaurants so we only got into one of them as it was a busy week. Lots of activities if you wanted them. Pickup and drop off were efficient. Absolutely amazing resort, great food, awesome staff and the grounds are so beautiful. It was paradise. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The entertainment was top notch and always exciting to watch.
