Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Another good stay at a Dreams resort

My family and I just returned from our stay at Dreams Royal Beach punta Cana. I would definitely recommend this hotel, however I would insist on staying in the premier section of the resort. It is kept immaculately clean and the staff could not do enough to make you happy. Anything you ask for they accommodate and the concierge service makes every dream come true. The older part of the resort however is a bit run down. The pools are in need of renovating, example... Tiles missing and [... read more] chunks of coping broken off but all in all kept very usable. The food is not as good at Dreams Royal as it is at Dreams Flora. So if you are a foodie, you may want to look into Flora instead. Our concierge Michael, was absolutely amazing. He did everything he could to make your stay remarkable. I definitely recommend asking for his services when at this hotel.

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Great week!

The wait staff were very attentive. Grounds were maintained daily. The food was better than expected. The hotel in general,was very well organized with the events that they had.I can’t say anything bad about our stay.

Dreams Dominicus La Romana: Wonderful resort , best beach and water

We’ve been pleasantly surprised by our stay in Dreams Dominicus La Romana! The room was a great find—spacious, with two bathrooms and two floors, which made it extra comfortable. The beach is simply amazing, and having good coffee available anytime was a real treat (Coco Cafe). The resort itself is well-kept and enjoyable. The food is average, but we were never hungry—there’s always something to eat. Overall, it was a happy and relaxing stay, and we’d gladly come back!

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Good resort but needs improvement

Pros: - well maintained and clean - friendly and helpful staff - beautiful resort - easy access to beach and facilities - access to adults only resort as well - lots of areas to hang out - lots of restaurants and bars Cons: - food lacked flavour and definitely ruined some of the experience - more public areas could have better air conditioning - activities were lacking and many still required additional payment - much more pools and amenities available to preferred guest [... read more]s than regular guests - anything additional like basic snacks such as chips cost 4-5 times the price - no ability to buy any supplies because of the unreasonable costs

Dreams Playa Esmeralda Resort and Spa: Lovely resort with some wrinkles to be ironed out

The resort is aesthetically beautiful, so fresh and modern and visually very pleasing. Lovely rooms, pools, gym, restaurants, etc. The beach is quite wavy, with few people, so it feels like you the beach to yourself. On the flipside, it seems that in rushing things to open the resort to the public, it looks like some attention to construction might have been done haphazardly. The staff are very pleasant, however, a number of the workers in the restaurants do not understand English, so service was not always up to par. In general, the food was good, some things better than others. There is a good variety though to choose from, which is a plus. As well, many of the events listed on their activities schedule did not take place at all and/or ran late. However, the activities that took place were wonderful, and were run by an energetic and friendly entertainment team (shoutout to Yailin). Overall, a great place with a lot of potential. I chalk up the weaknesses to the « opening pains » of a new resort.

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Beautiful Resort!

The grounds were beautiful. The kids loved the water park! The main pool had various activities throughout the day, which were fun! The beach was disappointing with the seaweed. I believe that the beach would have been gorgeous at a different time of year. The drinks were good and they had various different drinks of day. Lots of dining options for dinners. We often had Breakfast and lunch at the buffet. Not a tone of variety throughout the week at the buffet but still pretty good. The gelato ba [... read more]r is was our favourite. My kids had about 8-10 ice creams a day lol! The cafe was very good as well. Lots of great options in there! Overall, it was a wonderful holiday. I would definitely recommend this resort to families with young children. I will for sure go back to another dreams resort again just not in august.

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Amazing resort!!!

An amazing family vacation at an amazing resort. Excellent service and a great entertainment team. Second visit for us at Dreams Onyx and can’t wait to go back! Thank you Leo for all the great dancing.

Dreams Curacao Resort Spa and Casino: Dreams I not a 5 star resort

The resort is small, has 3 "restaurants" plus a buffet despite what the website says, and 1 of the 3 were closed most nights, so limited dining options. Most of the food was below average, and the many items were the same in each restaurant. They don't serve wine with dinner, you need to buy it by the bottle. The buffet was identical each breakfast and lunch, your only option for those meals. The beach is tiny, about the size of my front lawn. Most beaches in Curacao are small as they  [... read more]are small coves. They had "2" bars, but the one never, ever had a server at it. Didn't get a drink at it all week, nor did I see anyone else. They don't use top shelf alcohol, you have to walk to an office in the back to get a drink with it, and you have to have a "preferred" room to access it. Also, they play very, very loud music every night until anywhere from 1030- 1130 pm each night, at the foot of the hotel. You cannot get away from it, so I would only recommend a "NON OCEANVIEW" room to block as much of the music as possible, unless you like being stuck listening to off-key KAREOKE singers until 1030 pm. You seriously cannot get away from it if you want any quiet time in the evening. Bring earplugs if you go to bed before 11pm. The Casino is tiny, and only used by locals for the slots. I went in 3x and no one was ever at a blackjack table or roulette. ALSO, ZOETRY is accross the road and they come to the postage stamp beach to use as well. - Lastly, watch out for the "Hyatt All Inclusive" sales pitch that they will try to sell you for $30K US. The sales person even admitted to us that the Dreams Curacao is no more than a 3 star resort. The trip is cheap for a reason. Honestly, I would never ever go back there. I am only writing this to help decision makers in the future. We rented a car, the lsland itself is awesome. So much to see and explore. The downtown is gorgeous and safe. We ended up eating out - off the resort 3 times because the food was so below average.

Dreams Bahia Mita Surf and Spa: Ok

Hotel has construction happening next to the hotel. Lots of noise during the day and at night too. Buffet is ok. Lots of language barrier with waiters and staff. Limited restaurants and only cafes and most close at 5 till dinner.

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Amazing Resort

This is my second time to this resort, The rooms are great, the shops are nice they should drop the prices in the shops extremely expensive, the restaurants are nice I prefer the buffet which is great when it's open. the pools are nice, my favorite is the 24hr café they make the best cappuccino's, iced coffee, smoothies. I didn't have anything to complain about last year and nothing to complain about this year.

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Not worth it

The rooms are nice. The service is all right nothing to really remember by the beaches is dirty smelly. The food is also not great entertainment really really lacking. Also, it’s ridiculous that they don’t have a straw to drink with all their slushy drink. It’s almost impossible to drink it and when was asked, they said because they care about the environment. I think it’s a cheap move because if they do care about the environment look at all the water bottle that is being used daily. The views, the surrounding of the resort it’s not that impressive either so for the price of it, I would not recommend. Also, why would you not have dinner reservation instead of making people wait first come first serve it is a waste of time just to be waiting lining up for dinner and to be disappointed because it didn’t even taste good everything was so salty

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Wonderful resort!

This was our 1st time to Dreams Onyx and it did not disappoint! We decided to upgrade to the preferred package on arrival and were so happy we did! This gave us access to a concierge (our concierge was amazing and always took us to the a la carte restaurants nightly and got us in right away), adults only pool, preferred a la carte restaurant for breakfast and lunch, upgraded room amenities and snacks as well as access to multiple preferred lounges. The staff at this resort definitely go above an [... read more]d beyond, are extremely hard working and very very friendly. We were always met with smiles and kind words. The beach this time was so full of sargasm and even with the constant cleaning, it was a force to be reckoned with. This is mother nature and absolutely nothing one can do about it. So we just made sure to enjoy the pools instead. The rooms are large and well laid out and the resort is meticulously kept. We would 100% recommend this resort!

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Amazing Family Resort!

This resort was awesome for families! 4 kids between ages 13-8 and always fun activities going on at all times. Multiple pools and a couple lazy rivers to keep you relaxed, great service. Super clean resort, friendly staff. Unfortunately, sarrgasm (seaweed like) showed up a couple days before we got there but not the resorts fault. They worked hours and hours on tractors trying to clear it so we could enjoy the beach. 5 stars!!

Dreams Curacao Resort Spa and Casino: A Fabulous Place

The Hotel was comfortable a clean . The people who worked there were great. The Food was fresh and delicious. The Entertainment was fun. The pool and Beach was fabulous. The restaurants were great! The views were spectacular. We had a wonderful 7 day stay celebrating our 40th anniversary. I cannot believe all the poor reviews that I read prior to going. I had one issue not getting drinks as quick as we thought we should on the very first night, but 1 complaint to the office rectified the [... read more] problem and the set the tone for the rest of the week! Book this resort. It was great!

Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana: Great Resort!

Absolutely 100% recommend. This hotel surpassed all of our expectations. Pool side service was amazing, rooms were very clean, restaurants and buffet all had great food. We stayed at the Preferred Club and also highly recommend this upgrade - very much worth it! The following staff went over and above - Moises & Geisy (Preferred Club Pool), Nairoby & Mariela (Preferred Club Bar). The entertainment staff were also amazing - especially Baby Face, El Teacher and at the buffet look for Franciso an [... read more]d Rudy - all absolutely made sure we had a great time on vacation! Also our butler Luis took great care of us.

Dreams Curacao Resort Spa and Casino: Great Resort

Enjoyed the surroundings. Staff was very hospitable, accommodated our needs in a timely manner when we had problems with our TV. Enjoyed the beach and great entertainment each night. They offered a variety of tasty meals. Overall, excellent, will go back for a visit and stay at the Dreams Resort.

Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: Absolutely Amazing

Loved everything about this resort. Clean,clean,clean Amazing food ,drinks and people! Will definitely return!! Love Tulum Love Mexico the weather was amazing Very nice Clean resort!!!! Rented scooters from Hecor Tulum tours!

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Nice resort

This resort was nice. The rooms in the main building smelled very musty. The food was good but many of the a la carte restaurants were closed for dinner throughout the week. The Japanese restaurant charged $45 pp for the tepanayaki which seemed unreasonable for an all inclusive resort. The beach was very nice. There were alot of kids at this resort and most of the pools, activities and shows were geared for kids. There was always staff around to assist but none spoke any English so if you needed [... read more] anything you really couldn't communicate. They charged $15 to play one game of pool at the activity centre. The sports bar had 12 tv's but only got 3 channels amd mostly all soccer. We had fun because we were a big group there for a wedding but there were many things that were a little disappointing

Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: First time in Mexico

What a great resort. The staff were extra friendly and entertainment was great. Food was amazing. Very clean and manicured property. Beds were extra comfy…..definitely a thumbs up for the bed confines! Definitely recommend this resort!
