Catalonia Montego Bay: Nice resort

Grounds were clean. Rooms were nice. Staff is excellent. Our cleaning lady Darnette went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. Shout out to all the staff for making us feel welcome on our first visit to Jamaica. A great family resort. Beach is perfect for children.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, A/C worked, free safe, coffee maker, iron, lots of towels. No fridge. Sea calm, shallow, clear and warm although could use more shelters for shade as people claim these early. Entertainment very good. Good selection of food: Jamaican, children, special diets, etc. Well labelled eg. gluten free, dairy. Missing Jamaican patties. Can find food at all times of the day. Catalonia Montego Bay: Great time!

My sister and I stayed at the holiday inn resort in Montego Bay. We absolutely loved it! The staff are very accommodating and friendly. We felt so welcome. I just want to thank Adriene at the front desk, Darnette our chamber maid and Tyrelle in maintainence for their outstanding professionalism. The food was very good and the nightly entertainment was outstanding. The beach area is small but comfortable. Our room was standard with two very comfortable queen beds. Catalonia Montego Bay: 3 star at most for jamaica

Smoking only permitted near lobby,cant even smoke on adult side.booked king bed checked into 2 double beds,didnt get king room till 3pm following day.most servers at resort wouldnt smile i realize it aint much fun working 6 days a week but smile at least.buffet was limited selection at best .beach was so shallow swimming was impossible.bartenders was hit or miss on service and miss was mostly what we got.only real good points were alcarte resturants.i highly recommend kenko and italian.

Great place, great service highly recommend very family oriented. Clean rooms comfortable beds.Very close to all amenities and dizzy I will return for sure. Catalonia Montego Bay: Great vacation!

Service was excellent as was the variety and quality of the food. WiFi worked well everywhere. Plenty of chairs on beach and at the pool. Our room #2421 was great but only got it because needed a fridge for meds. Most rooms had no fridge. The entertainment was mostly noise affecting many rooms. Many rooms near highway. Nice beach but shallow ocean not great for swimming.

the hotel was great and we had alacarts every night and the Japanies is great - the only complant and it's big - is no bottles of water in the room, give you a big fridge and no water, pop or beer what was the fridge for? very disappointingbut that the only thing wrong other wise it was great!

Catalonia Montego Bay: Paradise!!!

I love this resort!! They have a great variety of food. If you don't want buffet and didn't make reservations in time for the la carte there are 3 other places to eat. They always have something entertaining going on at the main stage. They have so activities for the kids and the best part is the adult only side. The swim up bar was my favorite place to be. Catalonia Montego Bay: Can’t be beat

Wonderful resort. Travelled with kids and they weren’t bored for a minute. Food, entertainment, beach, pool, rooms were all perfect. Tennis, mini golf, pedal boats, kayaks and Hobie cat were great. Snorkeling around the island was some of the best I’ve ever done. Planning next years trip already.

Holiday Inn Orlando Suites - Waterpark: Amazing resort for families

We had a great time with our family swimming and even going to Disney magic kingdom, This resort best fit our schedule and budget. Kids loved the games offered and of course the pool and water slides And us parents relaxing in the hot sun looking over our kids having a blast HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Catalonia Montego Bay: Fabulous Resort

The resort is absolutely as beautiful as shown in the pictures. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly - and I was with my husband who is in wheelchair! Accessible + and we had no problems getting around to everywhere. Food was great, the sun was hot and the pool was awesome. So many spots to sit in the shade or sun and the views were splendid. Took a chance on the accessibility part and had a blast! Thanks Jamaica and Holiday Inn.

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Nice quite resort

Nice, very clean, quite resort with very friendly staff. The weakest point of this resort is food quality with very limited selection. Entertainment and daily activities are poor also. Other than that we enjoyed our time there. We strongly recommend this resort for people for who food is not a priority.

To be honest, I was a bit worried about the reviews before we went.... The grounds are absolutely beautiful and well maintained and the beach is huge! We found all the staff be great, as they will go above and beyond to get you whatever you need. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable with 2 pillows, one soft and one firm, located right beside the quiet adult pool & bar, perfect for couples! A short walk into town or to a large grocery store and there is horseback riding close by. You really can't beat this all inclusive resort for the price and it's gorgeous pools, staff and beach. We'll be back for sure.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Amazing Resort!

Initially I was skeptical of this resort. However it was amazing! So amazing that I'm hopefully going back the end of this month. Food and staff was great. Great for families and adults only as there is an adult side.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Holiday Inn Resort - Montego Bay, Jamaica

1. The resort is too old, over 50 years and is in dire need of renovation of the plumbing. It makes too much noise once it its flushed awakening the neighbours in the next rooms. 2. The Air Conditioning Unit is also old making a lot of noise when it restarts once the temperature rises above the set temperature. We couldn't sleep on the first night. 3. cleanliness of the resort was good and the rooms were very well kept. 4. The staff was excellent and the food was great.

Catalonia Montego Bay: One of the best

Holiday Inn Resort, Motego Bay, Jamaica is one of the best we spend our winter vacation in and we travel Caribbean from St. Lucia to Cuba and everything between. Resort was very clean, very well taken care of, people and service was excellent, room was comfortable, and food was delicious. Entertainment from morning to late night for all ages. If you are looking for good swimmers beach you are out of luck. You can still swim but not long pats. Also the “Only adults” part with own swim up bar can satisfied people looking for more “quiet” time. I will recommend this resort to all my friends as resort which deserves much more recognition. Its 5 stars across the board for me. On top Natausha Margraf from TriCentral was very helpful agent and I will use her services for my next vacation.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Great Family Resort

This resort is a good size for families - everything is very centrally located. Food and drinks were plentiful and staff managed the number of guests well being it was March Break. Beach is very shallow and you can’t really go for walks. There are a number of small beaches, but lots of reefs so you can’t swim out far, but there is good snorkeling. The pool is shallow and on the small side, but fun for the kids. The paths around the resort are also narrow and short, so if you like to take wal [... read more]ks after meals etc., this resort is not set up for that. Room was fine, but the bathroom was tight - really only one person at a time can be in it. Would definitely recommend this spot for families with children ages 2 to 12. If you want to travel as a couple, there is an adult only pool and beach. We only ate at the buffet which had lots of choice for everyone. The many snacks bars are also great. Being 10 min from the airport is a huge bonus. We would return!

This is second time we stayed at this hotel and we loved it both times. The staff at the front desk are very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Rooms were kept clean and tidy. We got the room with balcony which was very nice and roomy. I would recommend this holiday Inn to anyone.

Holiday Inn Resort Los Cabos: Great for the price

The hotel overall wasn’t bad , friendly staff, nice beach , two pools , the only down side was the food but what do you expect. Great for the price and the booze tastes good! If you are interested in going to Cabo San Lucas everyday the cabs are 40$ each way so that was a downside also

The employees work very hard here to ensure their guests have a great vacation. This resort is one of the cleanest I've ever seen. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The food is just not really that great and the activities at the pools don't always happen as scheduled. More work needs to be done on menu planning and quality of food. The staff need to do a better job "marketing" the evening events; I would ask some of the staff what was happening and where that evening, and they would tel [... read more]l me nothing was planned, and then I would hear I missed it. The staff in the lunch "a la carte" restaurant need more help, or need to be trained on waiting tables; took too long to order and then sometimes the orders were lost. Pools are older and looking tired, they have steel ladders, as opposed to stairs, and for some older guests, these are hard to manage. Location is great, the city bus is just steps away and this hotel is walking distance to San Jose Del Cabo, Walmart and other sites.
