Seadust Resort in Cancun offers stunning beaches and fantastic restaurant experiences, with exceptional service, except for the Buffet. The buffet has a good food selection, but the service there is lacking. Room service stands out positively, but the rooms need significant attention. Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall: Great family vacation

The hotel was great. Staff and food were excellent. Beware - most rooms are outdated and many guests complained that they smell like mold. Luckily we upgraded when we arrived and got a nice new modern room. I believe you would need to get a junior king suite or higher to stay on the modern side. I would recommend calling and booking directly with the hotel to confirm that you are getting a modern new room. Otherwise you’ll be disappointed.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Great time

Had a great time and thank you Tracey for the help booking a great new years trip. Staff were friendly, beach was great .. food was good everyone was happy and welcoming from day 1. Thank you for making new years a memorable one

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Jewel Punta Cana

The grounds were very well kept and very clean. There was always someone cleaning up leaves. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The rooms were very clean but in need up an update. I did hear that the resort is closing at the end of the month for the update. The buffet always had lots of variety and the servers were very friendly. Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Smaller Adult resort

We truly felt this resort could have had more.There wasn’t much to do (no snorkelling or water catamarans) and once the evening shows were done around 9:30-10pm it became quite quiet. There isn’t much in the way of restaurants there, so after day 3 you’re repeating the same foods. They did have evening shows but very unlike the larger resorts types of shows. The beach was just [... read more] okay to walk along and a lot of the beach to the right of the resort was littered with plastics, shoes, & toothbrushes washing up on the shore so it’s ideal to wear shoes on that section. If you’re going to this resort 5 days would be a perfect amount of days.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Old resort New name

Jewel Punta Cana (JPC) is the new name (owner?) of this resort. Every thing looks old, but is well maintained under the good management. The staff are friendly, trying to please guests. We have had a comfortable, relaxing week here. The main issue is food. We ate mainly at JPC's buffet, and once at Sea Grill restaurant. Mostly, they are not well prepared, often salty, nothing delicious.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: Very good resprt

Grounds were in great shape. The Club level was great and provided superior alcohol and an adults only pool. Rooms a little dated but fine. Comfortable beds and big tv. Loved Cocoa cafe. Went every day.

Dreams La Romana: Amazing resort but don’t book with Air Transat!

The Hilton hotel was 5 stars and everything was amazing! From the check in, room, grounds, service, food, entertainment and beach. We booked this trip with Air Transat and they lost my husband’s luggage and then found 2 days before we flew home. We asked for them to deliver to our hotel and they said no, we can pick up at the airport when we depart. The day we were leaving the Air Transat bus never picked us up from the hotel and we had to take a 45 min taxi ride to Punta Cana airport and pa [... read more]y $100US dollars. There was no Air Transat rep at our hotel and every time I called the Air Transat assistance phone number off their app, nobody answered. We paid a lot of money for this trip for 1 week with Air Transat and they should be embarrassed with their level of customer service. Book with West Jet, Sunwing or Air Canada instead.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Very nice place to be on vacation

Lack of transportation on the ground. We been in building 1 and was very far from eating area. Being on the beach we have to go for the lunch in reception area and back. My wife had a back operation and was very hard to her to go there. Many times she skips eating because she wasn’t able to go there. Otherwise all was very good. Clean rooms, Food excellent, everyone can find things they like. All employees very polite and trays to help if they can

Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: Disappointed

I don't normally write reviews because everyone has different expectations and experiences. I do read the reviews but try to weigh the good with the bad and hope for the best. So here goes, our experience was very underwhelming. The pluses were, the pools, grounds, the beach and most of the staff. The biggest disappointment was the food. I have been to 8 other all inclusive resorts in Mexico and can say this was honestly the absolute worst for food. I know we can't expect the same quality as w [... read more]e would at home but really, this was bad! The resort is generally in need of a good spruce-up. Stupid little things like, the closest doors wouldn't stay closed and we had to put a shoe in front of them. We couldn't get hot water in the bathtub after 10:00 PM, it also leaked and ran under the bed. The sink taps barely ran enough flow to wash your hands. Chairs at the buffet were missing slats on their backs, tables had napkins under the legs to keep them level. Lights down by the pools had broken glass surrounds. Some of the loungers down by the beach were broken. I think the staff for the most part does a good job with what they have to work with. But this is not a 4.5 or 4 star resort. I'm sure it was in it's day but now, no. As far as the Trip Central experience goes that was good. The only mix-up we had was with the airport transfers. I wasn't looking for WestJet vacation transfers (thinking it was Trip Central). No big deal we got it figured out and had no real issues getting to and from the hotel.

Thank you trip central for booking this for us through air Transat. As always air Transat is amazing and exceeded our expectations. Nicole Kirk at trip central is awesome. Hilton plays del Carmen is the third worst place I have ever stayed. The first two were Covid stays. This is the worst place outside of COVID. You are a cash cow and this is not all inclusive. A romantic dinner for 2 is $150us per person. Yes $300us for a dinner. To get a steak is $90 US. There were not enough beac [... read more]h or pool chairs. I literally needed to hover over the pool chairs for an hour just to get one. They was at 10:30am. Wasted sometimes 3 hours, in the sun, just to sit down. To get a cabana was $119 US. IF you get a beach chair, no shade. Expect to pay for shade. If you want booze that does not run you to the bathroom, pay. If you want anything, you pay. I was offended at how much we had to pay just to avoid a bathroom trip. Too much sun puts me in the bathroom, bad food, bad booze equals bathroom. This hotel is small. Anyone that says it is good remembers it when it was the royal. When it was managed without paying extra for basic amenities. We upgraded our room to an ocean view. That was laughable and the biggest rip off. We were on the top floor and the ocean was across the resort. I mean, the furthest room from the ocean. We could see a scuba diving tank, every other room, the garden, a gazebo, then the ocean. If I squinted I could see it. I was extremely upset at this upgrade. Do yourself a favour, avoid this hotel. Go to the Barceló adults only up the road, it’s cheaper and better in every way.

Grounds are beautiful rooms are old and small but kept clean,public areas are fine,food in specialty rest.very poor,in buffet only so so and the same every day,beach one of the worst and smallest we have been to, pool is great.

Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: We love this property

We really love this property and have experienced it prior to it being the Hyatt. There is a lot to do for the kids and especially if you have little kids it’s the perfect size for them to walk everywhere. We brought our two year old and he loved being able to walk to and from the water slides, the beach, and all the amazing restaurants. We really enjoyed all the food and premium drinks along with the great service we received by a number of staff. Alex, Alexandro, Eduardo and all the ladies and one gentleman from the roots cafe were all fabulous. The whole entertainment team was amazing and definitely put on awesome shows and really made it fun for everyone! Thank you! Ernesto from the pool bar made my favorite spicy drink EVER! Basically 10/10 whole resort! The enchiladas were amazing, terimissu, the pizza by the beach and I don’t even really like pizza! Lastly I’m so happy there was an amazing gym as I utilized it daily! Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: Good time here

Lots of pools. Warmer for children cooler for swimming. Not enough shade at the beach, great beach for walking, lots of large waves in the ocean. Shows are fire, acrobatic, Mexican, kereoke, a singer, no area for shows - on stairs only. Too much line up for restaurant bookings. Could be made way more efficient posting menu. Omelets in breakfast take too long /eSy to change it -kitchen staff have to walk through many times. - improve that area easily. Friendly staff. Fiesta Americana Riviera Nayarit: Wonderful staff

The hotel itself is fairly small and share grounds with vacation condos. Despite that, we found the pools were adequate--2 out of 3 heated--and there were many lounge chairs with umbrellas around them. We are 'beach' folks and enjoy dipping in the pool but sitting the days away watching the ocean--unfortunately, the beach only has a few palapa umbrellas so to secure any shade, one must go out early and put your towels on a chair. Jewel Paradise Cove: Fun in the sun

Was a great little resort, the grounds were beautiful, well kept and very well laid out. The food was great (more than enough to eat). The beach front was a little deceiving from the photos but still very enjoyable. The room was ok , could use some up dating , the deep jet tub was hard to get in and out of for the older people. The water sports girl was simply the best and most hospitable person on the island Great times overAll

18th time at this resort, ( Gran Porto Real - Panama Jacks ) The staff is amazing, the food up & down, no beach anymore. Junior suits are spacious & lovely. Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Amazing pool!

This resort is just as we expected. The grounds were beautiful, the pool allowed for privacy and socializing. The buffect had a good selection and we enjoyed the hibachi at The Jade restaurant. Our goal was simply r and r. This was a great place to do just that. The rooms were clean but dated however the grounds and pool were gorgeous and that's where we spent our time.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Not impressed

The Jewel Punta Cana left me feeling wowed but not in a good way. The reception staff were rude and ignored the long line up of people waiting to check in. This set a bad tone especially after a long day of flights and waits in multiple airports. There was no direction to our room upon arriving and our bags arrived 2 hours after we got to the room. The rooms are very old and smell musty. Our fridge didn't work and never got fixed until the day before we left. Each day we had to track down housek [... read more]eeping at 5pm to ask for water in our minibar which is very needed considering you can't drink the tap water and must also brush your teeth with bottled water. We ran out of toilet paper and tissues more than once and when we asked for it was told "later." Our TV remote had no back on it and our shower head fell off. Thank goodness I am handy and fixed it myself. The wifi never worked for more than a few minutes at a time and when we asked were told it was from rain that was non existant. Majority of the waiters and bartenders were absolutely wonderful but the housekeeping was very unfriendly and we tipped well but then stopped due to the poor service.This resort is very large and I feel people should be made aware of how much walking there is involved for those that struggle a bit to walk. The outside is gorgeous however it does not match the inside nor the way we were treated. I will not revisit this resort and recommend customer service training for reception staff and housekeeping employees especially when most depend on tips. The rooms also need major upgrades. This is not at all what I expected from a 4 star resort. I felt like I was staying in a sleezy abandoned hotel room.
