Sandals Emerald Bay: Sandals Exuma, Emerald Bay

When compared to other 5-star adults only, all-inclusive resorts, Sandals is on par with respect to the hotel itself: service, accommodations, food and amenities. Although there were more vegetarian options than others, but no turkey options for those that do not eat pork, i.e. turkey sausage and bacon. The only but major disappointment was that the beach was a mess. Sandals is not maintaining the pristine sands of Emerald Bay and it was littered with plastic. Also, I have no idea why they are still serving drinks with straws, even on the beach, which just exacerbates the issue. We went to this resort because of the beach and to swim with the pigs. While we went to the pig beach where the animals are supposed to be better taken care of (more ethical), there is no management in place. What I mean is, this is not a pig sanctuary where there are specific rules on how to engage with them. These are wild animals that need to be respected and protected. They are massive and someone could get hurt, especially small children. I can’t believe Exuma hasn’t done a better job of protecting their two greatest attractions - the beaches and the pigs.

Sandals Emerald Bay: Paradise on earth

From the moment we arrive at the airport we were taken care of. A luxurious suv picked us up immediately and drove us a mere 10 mins to this resort which took our breath away! We were greeted by the manager and staff waving at us as we pulled up to the front door. The entire stay we were always greeted with Hello, regardless of who the employee was. Magnificent! Took our breath away!!!!! Plenty of loungers with shade and tables. The pools are capivating. Especially at night. We loved the fire pits throughout and how the pools are lit. This hotel is truly a 6 star. Even the washrooms outside of the rooms in the common areas are clean and spectacular. The food!!!!! Oh the food! I personally gained 10 pounds in a week because I indulged in everything. It was so fabulous. We have never eaten such amazing meals before. Each restaurant was an amazing experience. We celebrated our 25th anniversary and it was a trip of a lifetime. Truly memorable and magical. Thanks Sandals! We will be back xoxo

Sandals Negril: Amazing resort

The hotel grounds and beachfront was kept immaculate. Our room was thoroughly cleaned daily with lots of fresh towels twice a day and toiletries. Lacking was the replenishment of glass were. There were lots of dinning options The food quality and service were fantastic,But the fish sandwich at the bistro was lacking fish. Water activities and glass bottom were great.Lessons for hobie cat sailing should be prior to use and not scheduled. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa: Incredible resort!!

The hotel was very nice. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. The resort was absolutely beautiful and very well kept. Pool was warm and beautiful waterfall that lights up at night. A great place to get away with your partner. Great view of the ocean. All stores and restaurants are not far. The restaurants are fantastic! My favorite one is Armando’s.

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Stunning Ocean Front Hotel

The hotel was a dream come true. Upon arrival, we were met with cool towels that were lightly scented with a mild relaxing fragrance. We identified our luggage and it was taken by or porter. We were asked to check-in which was not your ordinary hotel check-in process, we were escorted to comfortable chairs and met with champaign while we checked-in. Sandals Barbados: EXCELLENT RESORT

Myself and husband had a fantastic time in Sandals Barbados. Loved all the food especially Bombay and Chi and of course Café de Paris. Highly recommend a tour of the island. Will definitely return!!! Excursions included caves and critters, Carlise Beach, snorkeling with the turtles and all day tour of the island. Just awesome!!

We had a fantastic time! Everything was amazing!!the only downside was the beach. We were disappointed with all the seaweed The service and food was great. The hotel was clean and the entertainment was fantastic. We will certainly return

Sandals Emerald Bay: So much relaxation!

Our trip to Sandals Emerald Bay was everything we imagined. From the first minute to the last, we encountered friendly service, delicious food, comfortable accommodation and gorgeous views of the ocean. The resort is beautifully maintained and the pools and beach are gorgeous. We never had to wait for a spot at either. The restaurants were all great, especially The Bombay. I would return to this resort tomorrow if I could. It is such a restful and relaxing location.

Sandals Halcyon Beach: Wonderful Honeymoon

The Grounds were beautiful, the room was very nice and clean and fully re stock and clean daily, the food was very tasteful, we usually have issues finding something to eat but here we had no issues at all, food was fantastic, the service was great. This is probably one of the best places we ever been and will definitely like to go back. It was a week we will always remember. :)

Sandals Montego Bay: Amazing!

From the food to the rooms and great staff this place has it all! Service amenities, attention to details were above expectations! Highly recommend this venue to couoles who want to indulge in pure luxury and relaxation.

Sandals Grande Antigua: As always great resort

We had a wonderful vacation, very attentive staff. A+ We did two excursions, catamaran and fishing, lots of fun The only unpleasant thing was the amount/ frequency of “ merchants “ on the beach wanting to sell you tours or merchandise. Sandals does not own the beach therefore they have no control.

Sandals Barbados: Service Needs Improvement

The resort is beautiful. The food and drinks: perfect. Service was somewhat suspect. We failed to have our room cleaned two different days. The bartenders especially seemed to be so disengaged; none of them were interested in serving you. You pay a lot of money for Sandals, I expect the service to be second to none. This was our third Sandals visit, and most disappointing.

Sandals Barbados: Loved Sandals Barbados!

Sandals Barbados was amazing! We absolutely loved everything about the resort. The food, location, beach, pools and rooms were all fantastic. We spent most of our days at the beach and a couple afternoons by the lagoon pool and the “quiet” pool. The main pool is really fun for activities and socializing but the other pools are where it’s at for relaxing! The grounds are pristine and beautiful vegetation all around the resort. The restaurant up there is also amazing for dinner! I could go on and on but we had a fantastic time and will definitely be going back some day!

Sandals Grande St Lucian: Amazing Resort

Everything about this resort is incredible. All the staff are friendly and eager to help , food was fantastic the resort was 100% clean al the time . Beach is great and so is the pool area. Drinks were great Going back next year Had a few issues at check in but that was resolved very quick. Only thing I don't like is that we found that the resort got busy early in the day with other people coming from the 2 other Sandals. If the cost to stay at the Grand is more then the other 2 Sandals I fe [... read more]el they should stop the shuttles. Might has well stay at the other places and come every day to the Grand and save $$$

Sandals Grenada: Visited Site Before Sandals Expanded it 5 Years Ago - Still A Charm

We visited the LaSource in 1999, before it was hit by the 2004 Hurricane and subsequent sale to Sandals. Sandals has done a great job of expanding the premises, although it took out the former golf course. Grenada remains a special location to me, and the resort is still quite small compared to others. It was very well maintained. We wanted to be on the Pink Gin Beach Buildings in order to have a chance to hear the ocean and see it. The rooms away are nice and tropical but you loose th [... read more]e fact of the ocean. We walked around the resort but only swam in the ocean, not one of the pools. THey have done a great job of umbrellas, but clearly a bit of a need to outstep the butlers if really full. They were only 75% full at the time. The room was great, and unlike many hotels, the in room safe could handle a big lap top. The breakfast buffets were great, expecially the automatic orange juice machine. It was nice that no other restaurant was a buffet. We ended up sitting at the beach side table at Neptunes for the view. Their menu could be augmented a bit. Their two salads were basically identical. After two days, more selection would have been appreciated. Loved the sushi restaurant. Liked Butch Steakhouse. A little disappointed that Spice did not have a big selection of real local dishes, like Oil Down that we tried outside the resort. The hotel gave us room service breakfast for a day we had an early day flight trip to Carriacou, even though we did not have that level of room. We rented a car for a day and tried to get one of the small Butler ice coolors for drinks in the car but they said they did not have any. Funny, even though the hotel was only at 75%, and we were saving them lunch that day. Driving is not for the faint of heart as ditches are 2 feet down, and no curbs stop you first. We combined a visit to the St George Medical University, St Georges and Grand Etang, and a drop in at 4 other resorts to get a feel where we could bring our young children to Grenada. Would be nice to have some water bottles or cooler at the tennis court. It is hot up their. Courts are a bit funky, best described as astro turf. We had several great free clinics with their tennis pro. Water sports were great for snorkel trips and site seeing boat trip up the coast to St Georges. We are certified but did not dive. Walked down the beach one day for our own snorkel. The big rock peers, while not totally natural do provide a safe swimming zone for a beach is prone to many red flag days. I would have to admit that was a positive because the old LaSource could not even get a boat in to pick up divers to go around the other side of the island. Beach drink service was great, even to the far end. Took a hobbie cat out twice with one of the crew. Evening entertainment nice, including the return Sandals guest event. Overall, very hard to pick holes. One suggesting is to tone down the price mark up of taxis through the only tour operator on site. They charge US$18 for the 3 minute ride to the airport, while certified taxies, listed on the government site charge only $10. Sandals implies that all others are unsafe, which is not the case, in my opinion. Similar mark ups existed. Golfing sounded great but the list US$55 return cab to the course five minutes away was silly. If Sandals is already charging a premium fee for the resort, please don't try to add 80% markups to other products. Staff, overall was very friendly. As for going back to the airport 3 hours before the flight, apparently said as a government requirement, the folks at the airport said 1.5 to 2.0 hours was just fine, so we enjoyed the resort longer and took a cab. No one could confirm the 3 hour government rule, just a means to get Sandal's guests off site sooner. Conceige staff at Sandals unable to give me the local Air Canada Vacations - St James Tour local rep number to call in order to check flight info in regard to storms in Canada. Finally, much lower number of Europeans now at this resort. Sandals also responded to previous comments to stop sending sales people to the beach to sign up spa treatments, or to encourage signing up for a our next vacation. We just got one email offering a 12% discount. As for discounts, don't fall for the little flyer about 50% discounts for the gift store before 10 am. It is a small rack of 20 items on sale all the time. The staff seemed to think that 10% discounts after buying 2 items would get sales going faster... The only pain of this trip was Air Canada Rouge. For a 6'2" person, a 5 hr 40 minute flight is painful. Unless you take connections you are forced to this option. Just take lots of Gravel to knock yourself out. Now Air Canada offers planes with Comfort Class - like economy used to be. Funny, this is them finally admitting that Rouge is UN-Comfort Class, just like cattle trucks used to be. You know, offering more than a couple of chairs, with 3 inch more leg room, at a minimal extra ( no more service etc), would help us folks who are over 6 ft, and represent 15% of the market.

Sandals Barbados: Sandals Barbados - Beautiful slice of paradise

This resort has a lot to offer. The grounds are beautiful and well manacured. There are plenty of places to eat with a total of 17 restaurants on both sides of this cojoined Sandals resort property. The variety was outstanding with Butch's, Bombay, French, Italian and the Merry Monkey being our favorites. The rooms were well appointed with beautiful furnishings. Everything is close at hand and has quite an intimate feeling to it. The staff are very friendly and attentive to your desires. Samara and Nicole were two of the servers in the restaurants that stood out to us. These ladies made our dining experiences even more enjoyable. The food and service were of high quality in the restaurants. Nikita in the loyalty lounge was a pleasure to deal with. Such a lovely person. Drinks were of high quality however service at the pool bars was slow and not many servers waiting on patrons in this area unless you had butler service. The beach had beautiful white, powdery sand but is not apt for those who like to take long walks on the beach. It is rather short being less than 1km to go from one end to the other. Unfortunatley during our stay there was a lot of seaweed in the water and on the beach which made normal beach activities less desirable. We were told that this was not the norm but was caused by annual events each year in April. Staff were working to clear it up towards the end of our stay but the ocean surf was relentless bringing more and more seaweed/grass in daily. Overall I would recommend this resort.

Sandals Barbados: Your room key Says "Luxury Vacation" as simple as that!!

Everything about this resort is 6 star. The food quality and preparation is outstanding. The people are so accommodating, so pleasant and kind it is for me what really make the difference in any travel experience. The grounds are pristine and so clean. You couldn't find a cigarette but if you tried. You feel safe anytime of day or night and the security is in high visibility making the beach experience so much better as it is a public beach. There is a space for everyone whether you are looking for s sunny quiet spot by a pool and a more happening place by the infinity pool. Drinks are premium quality with several choices by brand. I don't think there is a bad room in the place and we stayed in the Crystal Lagoon 5th floor, great view and you can feed the sparrows right out of your hand....so cool. If your looking for clam water this might not be the place for you as it was very rough every day with strong winds but I guess that's just the Barbados climate. Lots of seaweed around but really didn't bother me....it is a beach after all:)

Sandals Barbados: Super Resort

We spent a week at this resort April 15-22nd of 2018. We found the staff very accommodating and eager to help with any request asked of them. We dined at what we considered the best food of any resort we’ve ever stayed in. Every meal was well prepared and served with a friendly smiled and complete professionalism. The rooms were very clean and well taken care of by the house keeping staff and the bar fridge well stocked at all times. The grounds staff greeted all guests with a big hello and a good morning smile. Traveling with our agent Kim Hartlen was also a big plus as she was on the ready for any concerns we might have had. The beach was great but seaweed decided to roll in but we can’t control that. The rooftop lounge was very cool and the view was spectacular! I would highly recommend this wonderful place and plan on returning someday. Just a note, the local people of Barbados are very welcoming and kind to all of our group. Sandals Royal Plantation: Vacation in paradise

I am grateful to TripCentral to help us choose an amazing resort. Sandals Royal Plantation is the place to go for a nice vacation. The suites are in front of the beach and everything is tidy. The service is number one. The food at the restaurants are delicious and nice selectionnof wines. Everything is included an unlimited.
